Childhood and youth

Katherine Langford was born on April 29, 1996 in Perth, Australia, to Dr. Stephen Langford and his wife Elizabeth. According to her zodiac sign, the future actress turned out to be Taurus. In high school, the girl became interested in swimming, and so seriously that she managed to achieve results at the national level.

However, in high school, after attending a Lady Gaga concert, being impressed by the singer’s performance, Katherine began taking piano and vocal lessons, auditioned for a theater school, but due to lack of experience, did not enter.

Langford's casting for the role in 13 Reasons Why took place via Skype; she had only 10 days to get a visa and go to the states. Critics praised her as Hannah Baker.

Katherine Langford will not return for Season 3 of 13 Reasons Why

After the release of season 2 of the series 13 Reasons Why, the lead actress (Hannah Baker), Katherine Langford , said goodbye to the fans and cast of the series and hinted that she would not return in the next season.

Under a photo with a memorial dedicated to Hannah, the actress quoted the words spoken by Clay in the final episode: “I love you... and I let you go .

“As you know, this was my first acting job, and I am very grateful that everything happened this way. It was important for me to tell Hannah's story in a way that would make others think more often about their own behavior. Thanks to Netflix, the producers, directors and everyone involved in the filming."

To be honest, the actress should not have been in the second season. But after noticing how talented Katherine is, the show's creators had to seriously think about how to bring Hannah back to the show. Perhaps this time they will also find some way?
