Inna Ulyanova: creative activity and personal life

Biography of actress Inna Ulyanova

The future artist was born at the end of June 1934 in Gorlovka, located on the territory of Ukraine. Inna's mother specialized in construction, and the young artist's father was an engineer. After several years, changes occur in Inna Ulyanova’s personal biography: she and her parents move to live in Moscow. The housing where the Ulyanov family settled was the property of the Council of Ministers, and some apartments were given to those people whose lives were connected with cinema. As a child, Inna constantly met some celebrity from the world of cinema. Perhaps the current circumstances were the beginning of Inna thinking about a career as an actress. After graduating from school, the future actress enters the Shchukin Theater School.

No one needs the artist Ulyanova. Just need her apartment?

Actress Inna Ulyanova, the unforgettable Margarita Pavlovna from “Pokrovsky Gates”, the funny mathematician from “Seventeen Moments of Spring” (because of whom Stirlitz almost found himself “on the verge of failure”), the singer of the detergent “Komet”, were buried on June 14 at the Vagankovsky cemetery next to my father's grave.

Few people saw off an actress so famous, popular and adored on her final journey. Almost no colleagues were at the funeral. Certainly - none of those whom we all remember from the same wonderful films and who, from the point of view of an unbiased viewer, could come: after all, they filmed together, they were so bright, so young together, together they went down in the history of our cinema... Alas.

Marina was next to the late actress at the funeral - she introduced herself as her niece, she answered all the questions...

And, in general, we can, of course, say that this is life, that the fates of actors are often so different from their screen or theater heroes. But when the next day after the funeral, reader Lyudmila Nikolaevna Belyaeva called, we, ready for all sorts of cynical turns in life, still felt somewhat uneasy from her story, to put it mildly... It turned out that Marina, who had the keys to Ulyanova’s apartment , a conclusion about death and who already calls herself the owner of the deceased’s apartment, is not related to her at all. And the real niece Anya met the grieving “relative” only at the wake.

The house where the actress lived was elite. Ambassadors, retired diplomats, veterans of various federal services, and Kosygin’s grandson, by the way, received apartments here. Ulyanova’s dad, Ivan Sergeevich, was the Minister of the Coal Industry, worked in the Council of Ministers, so he received an apartment for an obvious reason - deservedly so. Inna Ivanovna at one time lived in an “artistic” house on Ryleeva Street (now Gagarinsky Lane), where her neighbor was Vyacheslav Tikhonov. But after my dad’s death in 1991, I moved here, exchanging apartments with my mom. From that moment this sad story began...

Lyudmila Belyaeva, the actress’s neighbor, who worked in the prosecutor’s office for 40 years, says:

— During the apartment exchange, Inka, I think, met this Marina Mamatyuk... In any case, now Marina’s mother already lives in Ulyanova’s mother’s apartment! Some time after that exchange, Anna Nikolaevna completely gave up, began to drink heavily, and as a result... she was sent to a psychoneurological boarding school.

By the way, Inna never visited her mother there, although she lied to her neighbors that she went. Her attending physician told us about this, we recently called to find out how she was doing. And Anna is still waiting for her, even though she is 94 years old... This is the only thing we blame our actress for: you can’t leave your loved one like that, they didn’t even have a fight! And after all, Innochka was a wonderful woman until she became seriously ill - only a shadow remained of her...

Binges and “Kashchenko” - About ten years after moving to us, Inna Ivanovna was a normal woman. Everyone here loved her - she’s cheerful, greets everyone, even the minister, even the janitor, jokes, doesn’t show off! But even then she was drinking - in general, she and her mother loved this activity. And what actor doesn’t drink? Constant banquets, tours...

Ulyanova’s worst binge happened in 2001. One night I was on duty at the entrance, I saw Inna come down without clothes, she said, there are three men sitting in my room. When they arrived, she showed: one was in the closet, the other two were at the table. We look, and there’s no one there.

It’s clear: delirium tremens. I call a psychiatric ambulance, they answer me: either a relative can call, or a police officer. What should I do? I called our department, the duty officer came, called, and took her to Kashchenko.

...She came out of there like a cucumber. Although she was very angry and worried - why, the artist was thrown into a “psychiatric hospital”! I don’t know who egged her on, but she even wrote an angry letter to the then Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Rushailo: they say, the police want to take possession of my apartment! We reassured her and said that other prominent people had been in this ward before her... By the way, the only one who visited her then was Valery Komissarov. They worked together in “My Family” back then. He brought her food and flowers. And no one from the theater!

It was also very annoying that everyone around her called her “Miss Comet” - according to advertising. It's like there's nothing else to remember. So she started drinking again - little by little, but regularly. We have already forbidden everyone to give her a drink - a person is disappearing! So she got into the habit of coming to our bakery, to the alcohol department, going several times a day before, while she could...

Hospital Escape

A month ago, according to neighbors, Ulyanova underwent a serious operation: “Fluid flowed from her navel, we called an ambulance for her, took her to Sklif, but she ran away from there as soon as she came to her senses...”

The house concierge Liya Borisovna remembers:

— I’m sitting in my office, it’s already late, suddenly there’s a knock on the door. I look - Inna Ivanovna is standing, wearing someone else’s coat, almost naked. She tells me: open it, I ran away from the hospital... Then a woman came from the hospital to get that coat - Inna put it on in oblivion, apparently... And two weeks ago it fell here at the entrance.

“She came to me for the last time two weeks ago.” She was unrecognizable - she was all dried up, like a match! And her face was broken... She said that she accidentally hit the door, but we realized that she had fallen... She took a check, as always, an orange, a piece of cheese and broccoli cabbage...

Lyudmila Belyaeva continues:

“That’s when I found her on the street.” I leave the house and Inna is lying near the store, she was feeling really bad. I dragged her on me to the house, my legs were dragging along the floor, I couldn’t stand at all - not from drunkenness, but from the fact that I was already very sick and exhausted, I practically didn’t eat! And for the last year I’ve also been using sleeping pills - alcoholics don’t sleep well at night! In winter, she sits on a bench, boots on her bare legs, empty eyes... I asked our concierge not to let anyone out of the theater... And before that, for a year or two, she played, earned money, came with flowers, so happy.

A terrible end

Irina Borisovna, a close friend of the actress, says: “After she was operated on, she had to change the bandages on her stomach - she couldn’t do it herself. Marina came to see her twice and never came again. We couldn’t help Inna in any way - for some reason the “pseudo-niece” constantly changed the locks in the apartment, and we simply couldn’t get in there. Inna has already stopped opening the door, although at first she left the apartment, moaned, groaned, and walked back... We already knocked on her, and called her, and worried...

They called this Marina and said: they say, Ulyanova hasn’t shown any signs of life for days, go see her and check how she’s doing. But she just hung up on me... As a result, on the 10th day, it became clear that something was wrong with Inna, and she wasn’t answering because she didn’t want to see anyone, and we called an ambulance. And then Marina just arrived to open the door. Inna was completely useless, she died in the car...

And after the funeral, Marina, with such an angry face, told us: they say, she has been the owner of this apartment for a long time, everyone get out!

Real niece

— Aunt Inna had a very difficult character. She not only drove us, but everyone else away from her. For the last year, we haven’t even talked to her on the phone - she practically didn’t even pick up the phone... This Marina, I think, could only find the key to her in one way - by buying her a drink. Such “operations” with good apartments are not uncommon today...

I wrote a statement of claim to the Khamovniki police department so that the apartment would be sealed, otherwise this false niece would take everything out! Inna Ivanovna still had some valuable things like gold jewelry or fur coats... It’s not that we are now eager to grab all this, but why should Marina? Then there are photographs, documents of ancestors.

Then it is unclear on what rights she took possession of the documents for the grave, the keys, the death certificate... I only found out at the funeral that she introduced herself as a niece! I chose a cheaper coffin for her, like a homeless person...

VERBATIM

“Ulyanova bequeathed housing to me a long time ago!” We called Marina Narkissovna Mamatyuk, who introduced herself as Inna Ulyanova’s niece.

- Understand, after the funeral my head doesn’t work very well - after all, Inna Ivanovna and I were very close. These relatives are real vultures, see what they think about after the funeral! Before they didn’t need Inna, but now they immediately became more active.

We met her in 1991, I don’t remember, on the street or something. And somehow we became friends and began to communicate.

Yes, I’m not her real niece, she just always called me that, considered me family! And she has no relatives, except very distant ones. And she bequeathed the apartment to me, a long time ago, in 2000 or 2001, I don’t remember...

And about the fact that they called me when she was lying there and dying - this is not true, no one called me!

Why did the actress die?

We tried to clarify the cause of death of Inna Ulyanova. On the eve of the funeral, hospital No. 51 told us that such information could only be given to relatives and police officers.

In the Taganka Actors' Commonwealth theater they also don’t know anything definite: Ulyanova, they say, had many illnesses, it’s not even known what exactly she died from...

The death certificate was received by “niece” Marina Mamatyuk - we turned to her. At first she also spoke vaguely, then she answered: “She had cirrhosis of the liver, she drank very heavily. That’s why she died.”…

Admission to university

The chances that Inna would pass the exams were low for the reason that the artist did not take theater courses and had never appeared on stage before. The lack of proper preparation took its toll. While reading the prose to the examiners, the commission was not impressed with Inna. But the fable and poetry forced the jury to reconsider their opinion. A few years later, Inna Ulyanova shared her experience with her fans. The artist said that, on the advice of applicants, she began to read Krylov’s fable loudly, but later it turned out that the girl taught it automatically, without delving into the meaning. The artist was able to understand the meaning hidden in the verses only on stage when she took her exams. After reading each line, Inna burst into loud laughter, and the jury completely turned their attention to the artist.

The beginning of an acting career

Inna is accepted into the university, but Ulyanov is immediately warned that if the girl does not reveal her talents within six months, she will be expelled. The actress was able to prove that she was really worth something and in 1965 she successfully graduated from Pike. Inna received her first theatrical experience on the stage of the Leningrad Theater, where Ulyanova was remembered by everyone as a comedic artist. Inna managed to make TV viewers laugh without much effort, but she herself dreamed of working in cinema.

The actress's debut in the world of cinema

The artist's film debut occurred in 1956. Inna managed to get a role in the legendary film called “Carnival Night”. The actress's role was so small that her name did not even appear in the credits. After her first episodic role, Inna began to receive similar offers and appeared in projects such as “Cross the Threshold” and “Belated Flowers.” Serious changes in the creative biography of Inna Ulyanova occurred in 1973. This time she was given a minor role in the famous film project called “Seventeen Moments of Spring.” The image of a depressed woman, portrayed by Inna, will forever be remembered by TV viewers and the directors of the project. In addition, the actress’s performance itself showed how deep her talent is.

Failed career as an actress

After studying at the university, Ulyanova joined the acting team of the Leningrad Comedy Theater, where she served for six years. When the artist moved to Moscow, she was offered to play on the stage of the Taganka Drama and Comedy Theater. In the theater, she managed to play many different characters in such performances as “The Good Man from Szechwan”, “Ten Days That Shook the World”, “And the Dawns Here Are Quiet”, “At the Bottom”, “Exchange” and others. Inna Ivanovna was also involved in productions of the Taganka Actors' Theater, Vasily Livanov's Detective Theater, as well as in private performances by Mikhail Kozakov and Sergei Artsybashev. Despite her talent for transformation, she rarely received leading roles, although she was worthy of a brilliant future and a wonderful career.

Still from the film “Carnival Night” 1956

Ulyanova had no luck in cinema for a long time. Her first appearance on screen happened in 1956, when the comedy “Carnival Night” was released. But this episodic work did not reveal her as an actress, which is why there were almost no offers from directors. In 1973, Inna Ivanovna managed to get on the set of the serial film “Seventeen Moments of Spring”. Despite the small role, many viewers then noted her mathematician heroine, who was remembered by them for the catchphrase: “In love, I am Einstein!”

“Russian Amazons-2”

Ulyanova received her star role at the age of 48, when she played in the television film “Pokrovsky Gates”. Unfortunately, she was no longer offered leading roles, but her acting career continued to develop. Among Inna Ivanovna’s other works, one can note her roles in such films as “Where is the nophelet?”, “Dark nights in the city of Sochi”, “Burnt by the Sun”, “Lady for the Day”, “Russian Amazons-2” and others.

Most successful role by an actress

For some time, actress Inna Ulyanova was offered supporting roles, which were given to the artist better and better each time. Gradually, new projects appeared in the actress’s filmography. In 1982, a real finest hour came for Ulyanova. Inna was invited to take part in a film called “Pokrovsky Gate”, where she was given the role of Margarita Khobotova. Initially, the project premiered on the theater stage. The idea to transfer the play to the screens came from director Mikhail Kozakov, but the higher management of Mosfilm did not give a positive answer for a long time. Inna Ulyanova superbly played the role of a fierce and domineering woman who was used to subjugating all her relatives. The film project instantly became a favorite creation among the audience. The lines taken from the film were passed down by word of mouth. The ranks of the actress’s fans began to quickly swell. Alas, this was the last serious role in the artist’s film career. In the following years, Ulyanova appeared exclusively in minor roles.

ULYANOVA Inna Ivanovna

06/30/1934, Gorlovka, Donetsk region - 06/09/2005, Moscow

Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1989) Laureate of the State Prize of Russia (2000, for theatrical work)

Childhood and youth

Inna Ulyanova was born in Ukraine, in the city of Gorlovka, Donetsk region. Her father was a major mining engineer, and her mother worked as a builder. Later, the Ulyanov family moved to Moscow and settled in the house of the Council of Ministers. It was an unusual house - three entrances in it were given over to famous filmmakers. Therefore, young Inna had the opportunity to meet with one of the celebrities almost every day: Sergei Gerasimov, Inna Makarova, Marina Ladynina, Ivan Pyryev. And what a joy it was to see the “main prince of the country” Alexei Konsovsky, the hero of the fairy tale film “Cinderella”! Living in such an atmosphere, it is quite natural that all the girl’s dreams were turned towards cinema...

After graduating from school, Inna Ulyanova submitted documents to the Shchukin Theater School. The girl had little chance of enrolling: she did not attend theater clubs, and in appearance she looked little like a Soviet heroine - a small, thin blonde, she looked like a child. She did not impress the selection committee during the reading of the prose either: Inna was not even allowed to read the passage to the end. But the girl’s poems were a success. Subsequently, Inna Ivanovna said: “I began to read Krylov’s fable loudly, as other applicants taught me. But, as it turned out, I learned it automatically. And only during the exam did the meaning of what was happening with Krylov begin to dawn on me! I read it and burst out laughing at every line. The commission members raised their heads, shocked by such an original interpretation. The poem was even cooler. I chose not the popular Pushkin, but a little-known poem by Khodasevich. There was a “penny dating house” and “dubious virgins in an obscene round dance.” The commission perked up again.”

As a result, the commission decided to accept the extraordinary applicant, but with a condition: if within six months she disappoints the teachers and does not show her talent, then she will be expelled. The teachers' doubts were unfounded. Inna Ulyanova studied excellently, delighting them with her achievements, and in 1956 she successfully graduated from the Shchukin School.

Theater. From Akimov to Gubenko

After graduating from the Shchukin School, the aspiring actress was accepted into the troupe of the Leningrad State Comedy Theater under the direction of Nikolai Pavlovich Akimov. Here Inna Ulyanova had the opportunity to play heroines, both lyrical and comedic, in plays by Shakespeare, Sukhovo-Kobylin, and Gogol. She was especially successful in comedic characters; the success was such that the actress just had to go on stage, and the audience began to laugh. All this was achieved through hard work, because Nikolai Akimov himself said that “they don’t fall to comedy, but rise.” Inna Ulyanova followed this rule. One of the actress’s best works (and, by the way, her last) was the role of Julia Julia, brilliantly performed by Inna Ulyanova in the famous play “Shadow” based on the play by Evgeniy Schwartz.

Inna Ulyanova left Leningrad in 1964 due to the unfolding “anti-Akimov” campaign. The actress moved to Moscow and got a job at the Taganka Drama and Comedy Theater, which had just been created by Yuri Lyubimov. Very soon, Inna Ulyanova’s nickname in the theater was Inesilya. This is how the actress was nicknamed for her temperament, wit and talent. Veniamin Smekhov subsequently spoke about Inna Ulyanova as follows: “Artistry and intelligence from the highest quality material. A man of genuine joy. No wonder she was loved by everyone.”

In parallel with her work at Taganka, Inna Ulyanova played at Vasily Livanov’s theater “Detective” (“Trap for a Lonely Man”).

Despite all the listed qualities, Inna Ulyanova’s career at Taganka was not easy. Relations with the director were strained, as a result of which the actress received very few roles. In the early 90s, a conflict arose at the Taganka Theater, splitting the troupe into two camps. In 1993, Nikolai Gubenko and his supporters left the theater, organizing the “Commonwealth of Taganka Actors.” He was followed by Inna Ulyanova.

Lady with a fox

Inna Ulyanova first appeared on the silver screen in 1956 in the famous comedy “Carnival Night”. However, her role as a guest at the carnival was so small and insignificant that the actress was not even listed in the credits. Subsequently, Inna Ulyanova starred in small character roles, many of which viewers today will not remember. Among them: Kaleria Ivanovna in the drama “Belated Flowers”, singing teacher Marya Nikolaevna in the children’s film “Eccentric from 5th B”, Tereshchenko’s mother in the school film “Cross the Threshold”.

In 1973, the actress played another episode, this time in the famous film by Tatiana Lioznova “Seventeen Moments of Spring”. The heroine of Inna Ulyanova was a drunken lady with a fox. Only a few minutes on screen, but how it was played! A real masterpiece! And her famous words: “You have to listen to me, you have to believe me!” When they talk about us mathematicians as crackers, that’s a lie! In love I am Einstein! This tiny role immediately made the actress, if not famous, but at least recognizable.

Meanwhile, Inna Ulyanova continued to play typical supporting roles in films. Among them: member of the school’s parent committee Elvira Pavlovna in the children’s film “When I Become a Giant”, the Petrovs’ neighbor Rosa in the film “Ivantsov, Petrov, Sidorov”, Mrs. Greenier in the military drama “Velvet Season”, Aunt Tonya in the youth film “K who got knocked up by the singing canary,” Alla in the melodrama “Dangerous Age.” This is how the actress gradually approached her starring role in the film “Pokrovsky Gate”...

Margarita Khobotova

Leonid Zorin's play "Pokrovsky Gate" was first staged in 1974 on the stage of the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya. It remained in the repertoire for seven years and was always a success. In the early 80s, director Mikhail Kozakov decided to make a film based on the play. The management of Mosfilm, dissatisfied with the script, did not allow filming to proceed for a long time, and only the intervention of the respected actress Sofia Pilyavskaya (who played one of the roles in the film) helped Kozakov realize his plan.

Initially, the director planned Natalya Gundareva for the role of Margarita Khobotova. Star actors were also planned for other main roles: Evgeny Lazarev, Andrei Mironov, Nikita Mikhalkov. However, then Kozakov abandoned this idea and invited little-known actors at that time (the only exception was Leonid Bronevoy). So Inna Ulyanova became Margarita Khobotova, Anatoly Ravikovich became Lev Khobotov, Oleg Menshikov became Kosti, and Viktor Bortsov became Savva Ignatievich.

Inna Ivanovna recalled: “The atmosphere on the set was wonderful, I have never seen such warm, family relationships between the actors. This is the merit of Misha Kazakov, the director of the film - a brilliant person. <…> ...On the set of “Pokrovsky Gates” it seems to me that I was in love with all our men. Both Vitenka Bortsov - Savva Ignatievich, with whom we are still friends, and Vovochka Rarikovich - “my first husband”, are equally dear to me. And how can one not fall in love with the very young Oleg Menshikov - spontaneous, talented, graceful and, most importantly, not vulgar.”

Inna Ulyanova brilliantly created the image of a powerful, authoritarian woman, a kind of “general in a skirt”, who believes that only her intervention in the affairs of people close to her makes them happy. Behind the light, cheerful plot was hidden a caustic political subtext: the tragedy of the Soviet intelligentsia in the person of Khobotov, whom the ruling party in the person of Margarita Pavlovna put in the hospital for demanding freedom.

The film was shot in 1982, but hit television screens only in 1983. The reason that he was “put on the shelf” was the departure of Elena Koreneva (who played Lyudochka in the film) to the USA. The cheerful, sparkling picture was immediately liked by the audience. Inna Ulyanova instantly became popularly known, and subsequently was invariably associated in the minds of millions as the energetic Margarita Pavlovna Khobotova. The actress herself admitted that in life she is not at all like Khobotova: “In fact, I am a terrible coward, and in relation to men too. But in my creativity I try to get what I lack: self-confidence, authority, even impudence, which is why heroines like Margarita Pavlovna appear.”

Cinema and television. 80s – 90s

The film “Pokrovsky Gate” brought Inna Ulyanova national fame and... did not change anything in her acting career. Margarita Pavlovna Khobotova remained her only major film role. In the 80s and 90s, she starred in films such as: “Caution - Cornflower!” (teacher Elena Mikhailovna), “Don’t go, girls, to get married” (lady hunting for potential suitors), “Where is the nophelet?” (Klara Semyonovna, Pavel’s boss), “Dark Nights in the City of Sochi” (Marusya), “Bindyuzhnik and the King” (Makevna), “Our Dacha” (Ella Andreevna), “Burnt by the Sun” (Olga Nikolaevna, Marusya’s mother).

Inna Ivanovna also worked on television. She took part in the filming of the popular children's humorous film magazine "Yeralash". In the late 90s, the actress became the “brand face” of the Comet cleaning powder. In advertising this product, she used her favorite image of Margarita Khobotova. The video turned out to be successful and memorable. However, at that time the participation of movie stars was not so widespread, and many rushed to reproach Inna Ivanovna for commercialism. To which she, quite reasonably, said that she was not at all ashamed of this work: “If an actress plays a bitch, a whore, she is not shy, but if she talks about detergent on screen, they begin to brand her with shame. And you know, those who reproached me the most are now showing off toothpaste and powders themselves - this is such a wonderful way to remind oneself.”

Personal life

Inna Ulyanova was married several times, but she had no children. In her life, Inna Ivanovna invariably radiated a love of life. Incredibly charming, men liked her. Therefore, her life was accompanied by numerous novels. They say that the famous actor Evgeny Morgunov and the legendary athlete, Olympic champion Valery Brumel were not indifferent to her.

The actress was sought after by a Frenchman, a pilot of the Normandy-Niemen squadron, Jean-Pierre Constantin. After the war, he remained to live and work in Russia. Inna Ivanovna said: “For me, this man was the embodiment of a real man: kind, polite, courageous, caring, responsible and extremely honest - he couldn’t even lie on the phone that I was not at home. And I fell in love with him. He, like a true Frenchman, was a gourmet, but he was delighted even with the simple fried potatoes with herring that I treated him to. When we parted, we wrote wonderful letters to each other, he dedicated poems to me.” The affair lasted four years, but did not end in marriage - in those years it was incredibly difficult to marry a foreigner.

Last years

Inna Ivanovna always carefully looked after herself and her health. Both at 60 and 70 years old, she continued to remain energetic and fit. Every morning the actress began with long facial treatments.

In the late 90s and early 2000s, Ulyanova shone in the enterprises of Mikhail Kozakov, Sergei Artsybashev, and Gennady Khazanov. At the beginning of the new century, the actress played several roles in films, the most striking of which was the owner of a brothel in the musical comedy “Lady for a Day” by Dmitry Astrakhan. Inna Ivanovna said: “This is a funny, almost vaudeville Christmas story, with a good cast. I got a real pleasure from watching the work of Tabakov and Neelova, they are not just talented actors, but also interesting personalities, it’s very interesting to talk to them after filming. And Astrakhan itself is simply inimitable..."

Inna Ivanovna died on June 9, 2005. The cause of death was given as cirrhosis of the liver. The actress was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery, on Vasilyevskaya Alley (site 10).

Alexander Yatsko, who worked with the actress, summed up her work this way: “She, unlike many of our colleagues, was lucky to become a true people's favorite. It doesn’t matter whether she played her brilliant Lady with a Fox in 17 Moments of Spring, her Margarita in Pokrovsky Gates, or a cheerful aunt from a soap advertisement. She did everything accurately, she knew how to please the audience. And the memory of her is very good, I think she will live for a very long time, since the works I have named are already enough for acting immortality.”

Filming in advertising

In addition to her participation on the stage of cinema and theater, numerous television viewers remembered the artist from advertising from the 90s. Inna played the role of a woman advertising a kitchen cleaning product. Many colleagues on the set spoke harshly about the actress’s decision to get involved in the advertising industry. However, Inna Ulyanova herself believed that there was nothing shameful in this. If she can play a bitchy woman of easy virtue without shame, then she can certainly advertise a cleaning product without shame. According to the artist, many of her colleagues who once reproached her for filming commercials later began appearing in advertisements for tooth powders and other hygiene products. According to Ulyanova, this is not a bad chance to remind TV viewers about yourself again.

Biography and personal life

Maria Ulyanova is a talented and sought-after Russian actress of our time.
Her beauty can be admired not only on television, but also in the theater. Ulyanova Maria Andreevna was born on March 16, 1994 in the beautiful city of Kazan. There she spent her entire childhood and youth. Including, she graduated from secondary school. She began to show interest in the world of art from an early age. She was always a purposeful and active girl.

I decided to enter GITIS. And not in vain, because I was able to pass the selection without much difficulty. So she began to study in the workshop of A.V. Borodin, and graduated from the educational institution in 2020. Today the beauty lives in Moscow. Since then, she has played quite a few roles in film and theater. On the big screen she could be seen in such projects as: “Major Thunder”, “The Night After Graduation”, “Salt”, “Explosion” and more.

Often the actress played girls with a difficult fate who had to overcome great difficulties in life. Often these were prostitutes or other lower strata of society. Not so long ago, the girl managed to get one of the roles in the new series about fates known to everyone - “Kitchen. War for the hotel."

In the theater she showed herself no worse. For a long time she was indignant because she was given exclusively typical images such as women with strong character and chain smokers. Maria always dreamed of gentle roles like Juliet.

Only after some time did she realize that complex roles provide much more life and professional experience . I am very grateful to the management of the theater.

The directors treat Maria Ulyanova very well. She is a professional actress who is ready to transform into any image. The girl always strives for self-development in all aspects. Enjoys various sports and travel. In this regard, he is not particularly different from other youth representatives.

Personal life of the actress

Inna Ulyanova’s personal life was much less optimistic than her film career. The artist recalled that many men tried to win her affection, but she herself decided not to rush to connect her life with her first gentleman. Throughout the artist’s life, she agreed several times to throw in her lot with men, but never married them. The actress was married once. In 1966, Inna became the wife of actor Boris Golaev. However, after 1.5 years the couple divorced. Failures in her personal life finally disabused Inna that she would one day become a happy wife and mother of her children. There are rumors that the main contenders for the heart of the charming actress were: the famous artist of Soviet cinema and theater Yevgeny Morgunov and the unsurpassed athlete V. Brumel. However, neither one nor the second contender was able to win over the lady.

Personal life

In her personal life, Inna Ulyanova was no less optimistic than in her career. The actress recalled that men repeatedly sought the favor of the beautiful actress, but she was in no hurry to throw in her lot with the first gentleman she liked.

According to rumors, actors Evgeny Samoilov and Sergey Filippov, Evgeny Morgunov and athlete Valery Brumel sought Ulyanova’s attention at different times. There was talk about a romance between Inna Ivanovna and Nikolai Gubenko. The couple tried to build a relationship, but the director could not forget his love Zhanna Bolotova. There were also conversations that scientists became her men: Inna did not hide the fact that she liked older men with scientific degrees.

The actress was married only in her youth and only once. Her chosen one was the actor and then-novice director Boris Goldaev. The public knew him from his role as landowner Levin in the drama Anna Karenina.

The young people met in 1964 on the stage of the Moscow Taganka Drama and Comedy Theater. After 2 years, the artists got married. The couple settled in the apartment of Inna’s parents. According to the actor himself, he did not want to register the relationship, but Inna convinced him of the need for this step. The couple failed to build a family: the union broke up a year and a half after the wedding.

The situation that influenced Ulyanova’s decision was Goldaev’s passionate dance at one of the artistic parties with Anastasia Vertinskaya. Inna was still trying to save the relationship, especially since her father was ready to give the young couple a 2-room apartment, but now Boris himself insisted on breaking up.

Inna Ulyanova

Ulyanova treated the position of an unmarried woman with a degree of irony, calling herself a “lone wolf.” The actress told her friends that she was not ready to become a mother, but at the same time she easily found a common language with children.

In the 70s, Inna met a new love. The affair with a French pilot, who was 15 years older than the actress, lasted 4 years.

The couple met during one of Konstantin Feldzer’s working visits to Moscow. The artist’s chosen one called her Inna in the French manner, with emphasis on the last syllable, and Ulyanova tried to treat her beloved with home-cooked Russian cuisine at every meeting.

After the breakup, Inna and her lover corresponded for a long time. In the 90s, the actress learned about the death of Konstantin, after which she burned all the letters and photos that were related to her novel.

In her old age, Inna Ivanovna had to devote a lot of time to her mother’s health. Anna Nikolaevna lost her memory, so the actress had to admit her to a nursing home.

The artist was worried about this; she had to listen to accusations of callousness towards her mother. After the death of the celebrity, distant relatives took custody of the woman. They managed to transfer the actress's inheritance to themselves, which was most likely sold.

Alcoholism of Inna Ulyanova

Unfortunately, at the end of her life, the artist became addicted to alcohol. What really pushed Ulyanova to drink, no one can say. Perhaps the reason was loneliness and failures in his personal life, or perhaps it was related to his career. Recently, before her death, the artist avoided meeting with friends and people close to her. People living in the neighborhood said that Inna Ulyanova often went on binges. The actress was even in the hospital for some time, but the rehabilitation course did not help the woman, and she again became addicted to alcohol. After some time, the artist went under a surgical knife, as a result of which she underwent a serious operation. But this did not help her cope with alcoholism.

The actress's passing away

After some time, Inna stopped responding to calls and opening doors to neighbors trying to reach her. The complete silence outside the door alerted the neighbors, and they called the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the police. Having opened the doors, the actress was found in extremely serious condition, after which the woman was immediately taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, the doctors’ actions were a little late. On June 9, 2005, the actress died. The reason for the woman’s death was late-stage liver cirrhosis. The unexpected death of the famous artist, as well as information about her addiction to alcohol, shocked fans of Inna Ulyanova’s work. However, her talent remained forever in the memory of television viewers. Perhaps, if the fate of the famous artist had turned out differently, she would have lived a happier life, in which there would have been many joyful moments. In any case, it is impossible to forget the charismatic actress. Thanks to her radiance, the supporting roles turned out to be memorable and interesting.

last years of life

Her mother began to suffer greatly. An elderly woman's senile dementia began to progress rapidly. It got to the point where it became dangerous to leave the old woman alone at home. Inna Ulyanova, who was still working at the theater at that time, sent her mother to a nursing home. Many people condemned her then. But you can’t judge from the outside. It is unlikely that Inna could afford to quit the theater and become a nurse. In addition, she herself was no longer young; it was difficult for her to cope with her frail mother.

In recent years, Ulyanova lived alone in an apartment. There were rumors that she drank heavily. However, now the actress’s friends deny this. When the woman did not leave her apartment for several days, concerned neighbors called an ambulance. In serious condition, the doctors took her away, but did not even take her to the hospital. Inna Ulyanova died on June 9, 2005 from cirrhosis of the liver. The actress was buried at the Vagankovskoye cemetery .
