Mikhail Trukhin: childhood years
The future actor was born in Petrozavodsk, this happened in October 1971. Mikhail Trukhin spent the first years of his life in the city of Monchegorsk, located in the Murmansk region, where his grandmother lived. Then the mother moved the boy to Leningrad, where he graduated from school. It is interesting that Misha studied together with Yegor Druzhinin and Dima Barkov, who in the future were given fame by films about Petrov and Vasechkin.
As a child, Mikhail Trukhin was not distinguished by exemplary behavior, had a reputation as a hooligan, and was famous for his love of practical jokes. Once the future actor was almost expelled from the pioneers. On Self-Government Day, he was given the duties of a head teacher, and his friend Barkov was “appointed” as the school director. The friends did not take their responsibilities seriously and entertained all the students with their “guidance” throughout the day. However, in the end, Mikhail still managed to convince the participants of the teachers' council, at which his behavior was discussed, not to expel him from the pioneers.
Biography
Mikhail Trukhin was born on October 28, 1971 in Petrozavodsk. Our hero was an early child. His mother was studying at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute at that time. She spent the whole summer with her son. And with the onset of autumn I was forced to leave him with my grandmother.
Until the 4th grade, Misha lived in the city of Monchegorsk, in the Murmansk region. His beloved grandmother was involved in his upbringing. She doted on her grandson and tried to spoil the boy with various goodies and gifts.
Later, Mikhail’s mother took him to Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). The boy refused to go so far from his grandmother. But in the end he gave up.
Choosing a life path
Mikhail Trukhin did not immediately decide on his choice of profession. As a child, the boy was fond of sports and achieved some success in hockey and judo. For some time he seriously intended to become a train driver, but fate decreed otherwise. Misha developed a love for theater already in his teenage years. He began to study in circles at the House of Pioneers and participate in amateur productions.
After graduating from school, the future actor Mikhail Trukhin tried to become a student at the Institute of Culture, but he was not accepted. Nevertheless, the talented young man managed to join the supporting cast of the Alexandrinsky Theater. Of course, Trukhin was trusted only with episodic roles. For example, in the production of “Leaders,” his hero had to rush around the stage with a banner in his hands. While working in the theater, the young man simultaneously learned the basics of his chosen profession in the studio of Igor Gorbachev.
Childhood and youth
Mikhail Nikolaevich Trukhin was born on October 28, 1971 in the city of Petrozavodsk. The future actor was an early child, so while his mother was finishing her studies at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, the boy was raised by his grandmother. Mikhail attended primary school in the small northern town of Monchegorsk. In his youth, Trukhin began to practice judo and hockey, but over time he realized that the sport was not for him.
Mikhail Trukhin in childhood and now
After finishing 4th grade, my mother took Mikhail to live with her in St. Petersburg. The actor remembers his school years as a time of hooliganism. Not a week passed without Trukhin and company coming up with a prank. It got to the point that the question of depriving all friends of pioneer ties was raised. But the savvy guys deftly got out of even such a delicate situation.
Already in middle school, the future actor became interested in the stage. Mikhail's attitude towards the theater was more than serious. The boy deeply studied acting, thoughtfully taught even the smallest roles. Trukhin’s first attempt to get into the Institute of Culture ended in failure; poor performance from school did not allow him to realize his childhood dream.
Mikhail Trukhin in his youth
The failure did not discourage Mikhail from becoming an actor, and Trukhin got a job at the Alexandrinsky Theater. There was an acting studio at the theater, in which Trukhin learned the nuances of his chosen profession.
Some time later, the future celebrity makes a second attempt to become a student, and the attempt was successful. LGITMiK gladly accepted a more or less experienced actor into its ranks. The course turned out to be stellar. Konstantin Khabensky, Ksenia Rappoport, Ville Haapasalo, Mikhail Porechenkov studied with Trukhin. The master of the course was Veniamin Filshtinsky. Already at the institute, Mikhail began to play more significant roles, one of which brought the actor the Golden Mask award.
Study, theater
During his time at the Alexandrinsky Theater, Trukhin gained invaluable experience. This helped him become a student at LGITMiK. The course that Mikhail took was taught by Veniamin Filshtinsky. The mentor invited the aspiring actor to his Perekrestok theater, where Trukhin began to combine work with his studies. “Waiting for Godot” and “The Road” are the most famous productions of this theater with the participation of “operative Volkov”. By the way, for playing the role of Vladimir in the play “Waiting for Godot,” Mikhail was twice awarded the Golden Mask award.
Mikhail Trukhin, whose films and biography are discussed in this article, became a graduate of LGITMiK in 1996. After receiving his diploma, the actor got a job at the Lensovet Theater. Four years later, he chose to join the troupe of the Liteiny Theater, where he played in the plays “Duel” and “Watchman”.
Mikhail received an invitation to move to the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater in 2006. “The Pickwick Club”, “Duck Hunt”, “Primadonnas”, “Hamlet” are the most striking productions of this theater in which Trukhin received roles.

First roles
Of course, it was not thanks to his theatrical roles that Mikhail Trukhin became famous. The films in which the aspiring actor made his debut were “Cynics”, “Afghan Break”. In the action-packed film “Afghan Break,” directed by Vladimir Bortko, the future “operative Volkov” embodied the image of a soldier, and in “Cynics” he played a guy named Goga.
The above-mentioned films were released in 1991, after which Mikhail Trukhin did not receive new roles for several years. “Streets of Broken Lights” is a series that helped him become a sought-after actor and improve his financial situation. The television project also saved Mikhail from leaving the profession, which many of his colleagues thought about during the crisis years for cinema.
"Streets of Broken Lanterns"
In “Streets of Broken Lanterns” Trukhin received the role of Lieutenant Volkov. It’s interesting that the people responsible for casting the actors found him from Lenfilm’s card index. The roles of operative Vyacheslav Volkov's colleagues were played by Nilov, Polovtsev, Selin, and Lykov. When agreeing to film a television project, Mikhail could not even imagine that for many years he would become akin to the image of a crime fighter. However, the series is still a huge success among viewers, which forces the creators to film its continuation.
Now Mikhail is not sure whether he made a mistake by agreeing to the role of Volkov. The actor believes that he has become so close to his character that he is no longer perceived separately from him or seen in other roles. In addition, the busy filming schedule, as well as frequent trips on tour, negatively affected his health. However, Trukhin has not yet decided to say goodbye to “Streets of Broken Lanterns”, while many other actors who starred in the first seasons left the television project.
Marriage and divorce
Of course, fans are wondering if Mikhail Trukhin is married? The actor’s personal life seemed to have settled down when he married a girl named Lyuba. She also studied at LGITMiK, which is how they met. Trukhin's first wife told reporters that their romance began when Mikhail saw that she was sad and invited her to his company, trying to cheer her up. The young people got married after several months of dating.
Lyuba gave birth to Trukhina two children - daughter Daria and son Yegor. However, the marriage broke up a few years later. It is known that it was Mikhail Trukhin’s wife who initiated the divorce. After the divorce, the couple tried several times to restore the relationship, but nothing came of it. Mikhail has an excellent relationship with children; they often spend time together. It is known that the son and daughter intend to follow in their father’s footsteps and connect their lives with a creative profession.

Popularity did not spoil Mikhail - he remained an exemplary family man, ignored actor’s gatherings with alcoholic libations and adored his little son. The only thing that offended his wife was that he believed that she should stay at home, and the acting profession was not for her.
Three years later, Mikhail Trukhin had two children - the actor’s wife gave birth to a daughter, Dasha. Mikhail thanked Lyuba for his daughter by giving her a new car, and shortly before the birth of the child, their family moved into their own two-room apartment. The actor’s wife continued to take care of her children and husband, and Mikhail was actively filming, playing in the theater, and was very rarely at home.

Although Lyuba didn’t really like this, she turned a blind eye to everything, because her husband provided for the family, helped his mother and sister. Lyuba never worried that Mikhail could have an affair on the side - he always called himself a monogamous man.
There were never any serious quarrels between the spouses, perhaps due to the fact that they saw each other quite rarely, but this was also the reason that the spouses moved away from each other.
