The actor’s date of birth is May 26, 1991. Arthur Sopelnik was born in Dresden, but did not live there long. Soon his family settled in Moscow, where the boy went to school. In elementary school, Arthur was more interested in sports than creativity. He played hockey and attended a karate section.

The boy's interest in theater was first awakened by the fable “The Wolf and the Lamb.” At school, Sopelnik was asked to learn it and tell it by role in front of the class. Arthur was truly passionate about this, thought through every image, and spent a lot of time rehearsing. It was then that he realized that he wanted to play on stage.

Biography

Arthur Sopelnik was born into a family of hereditary military men. He says about himself: “I was born in Germany in the city of Dresden and at the age of three I moved to Moscow. My mother and I live there to this day.” His parents separated when Arthur was very young. He practically did not communicate with his father. “Where my dad is now and what he’s doing, I don’t know. Mom works as a sales manager for pharmaceutical equipment. She replaced both my parents. Although she believed in me very much, she was always strict and raised me without sentimentality. I was often punished for disobedience and pranks,” the actor says about his childhood.

Arthur studied at a Moscow school and was distinguished by his curiosity and increased activity. From an early age he studied the martial art of karate, although this did not really discipline the active bully. He recalls: “I was a big bully at school. We constantly played tricks on teachers. With friends and classmates, we put buttons on the teachers’ chairs and rubbed the board with paraffin. That's why I kept bringing home bad marks for behavior. In my diary there were entries like: “Running around school in socks. I danced on the desk. I fought during recess, etc.” But I studied normally.”

Bad behavior still did not affect his overall performance, and the young man managed to graduate from school as an external student at the age of 16.

Arthur inherited his passion for theater from his mother. In an interview he admitted: “My mother herself wanted to become an actress. This must have been passed on to me somewhere. But I really like it." In addition, the brave and sociable boy always loved to act: “I developed an inclination towards the acting profession around the first grade. At that time I was involved in sports - hockey, karate. Afterwards, at school we were assigned to learn the fable “The Wolf and the Lamb,” and I really liked these images. I specifically read the fable by role. After that, I told my parents that I wanted to go to the theater, and began to study.”
