Brittany's mother moved with her to California when she was only thirteen.

Some of my colleagues had problems with drugs, so I had the opportunity to look at this misfortune up close. And if something like this happened to me, my family wouldn’t get off me until I got back to normal. Despite all the nonsense that the tabloids print about me, I am a completely normal person.

“I always wanted to perform in public, I even played in all sorts of plays during school holidays. I've never taken acting lessons. I once thought about becoming a singer, but I started acting earlier, so I decided to focus on acting.

-What metaphor is most often used when talking about a person?
- Eyes. But it’s her lips that tell the story of Brittany Murphy’s creative journey. Which, in the language of ladies' magazines, “trembled in fear on the first set”... - I remember very well my first impression of the film industry, a film called “Clueless.”
It was an incredible experience for me. The director of the film is Amy Heckerling, she is an amazing person. Since then I have acted a lot, but I still remember that work with her. Of course, the first experience cannot be compared with anything. It needs to be appreciated, it is very important. Amy is an amazing director. Then I thought that all directors are like this. But later I starred with many other directors and realized that not everyone is like Amy. - A few years later, the lips of a touching girl, confused in life, confided secrets to her roommates in the film “Girl, Interrupted”...
- I love acting in films of all genres, I can’t single out just one.
I really love my job. It doesn’t matter to me what incarnation my heroine will take, I’m just happy that I’m acting in a movie. I really love my profession. -The touching girl was replaced by a vicious beauty, whose lips drove Eminem’s hero crazy in the film “8 Mile.”
