Biography
Dmitry Lanskoy is known as the ex-husband of Yulia Nachalova and the ex-soloist of “Prime Minister” - a popular boy band of the late 90s - early 2000s. In 2014, he made his presence known by participating in the 3rd season of the vocal project “The Voice”. Today, the man continues his musical career, working on his own project Lanskoy & Co and composing soundtracks for famous films and TV series, including “Fizruk”, “I’m Losing Weight” and “Univer”.
Career
At the age of nineteen, D. Lanskoy took part in an international competition for young talents and became a laureate.
When the student was in his third year, casting began for the new group “Prime Minister”. Dmitry Lanskoy successfully passed the selection and became one of four participants.
After the first record was recorded, the group quickly became popular. But when the second record was released, Dmitry decided to leave the group to become a solo artist.
As a solo singer, Dmitry released several songs and participated in the “New Wave” in Jurmala. In 2008 he created his own group Lanskoy&PrivatParty. In the same year, he became the producer of the T-Killah project.

Childhood and youth
Dmitry Lanskoy is from Moscow. The boy was born in 1978 in a simple family and from the age of 8 he dreamed of making music. Today the singer blames himself for not being persistent enough in his studies and not developing a strong foundation in playing the instrument, so he insists that his own children take the learning process seriously.

At the school named after The Gnesins guy had to enroll without a primary musical education, so he lost to his competitors in mastery of instruments and solfeggio. But Dmitry prevailed with perseverance and charisma, and in 1995 a competition was held for the vocal department of the pop-jazz department. The guy is being selected for the “Prime Minister” group, created by producer Evgeny Fridland, modeled on Western boy bands. The recipe for a successful project was to select pretty, sweet-voiced participants who voiced the cherished dreams of the fair half of humanity: they sang about broken hearts, eyes - “three-carat diamonds” and other sweet things.

In 2005, the musician released a couple of singles, and a year later Lanskoy represented Russia at the New Wave competition.
