“The Voronins” is our version of one of the most successful American sitcoms about a sports journalist and his many relatives called “Everybody Loves Raymond.” In 2012, the material for the Russian adaptation ran out, but the audience did not want to part with the Voronins, so the producers decided to make an original sequel.
The Voronins live in the VDNKh area on Botanicheskaya Street (although the title sequence shows a house on Komsomolsky Prospekt). Kostya, his wife Vera and his parents live in neighboring 3-room apartments with a common balcony, where the main character once broke the partition.

“We always had real food.” Only some of the food supplies could be eaten, but some could not. I can't tell you for sure whether food that shouldn't be eaten was painted with varnish to make it look more natural.
But sometimes our “diet” included cookies that were five to six months old. They could be used to hammer nails. But they looked very beautiful in the frame.
— For 10 years, many stars have starred in the series “Voronins”: Gluck OZa, Nikolai Valuev, Andrei Malakhov, Vyacheslav Fetisov and many others. Which of them do you remember most?
— I remember Nikolai Baskov , who came to the site with the text memorized and behaved like a professional artist.
Philip Kirkorov is also very efficient. Made us laugh a lot. I remember when we did a lot of the same takes, the singer said: “God, how many can you do.” We’ve already filmed it.” And we explained: “Yes, but this is a different shot, a different plan.” But in the end, Philip Bedrosovich survived the entire shift.
