Ekaterina Vulichenko was born into a military family.
During her early childhood, the girl and her family moved from garrison to garrison. In addition to Katya, sister Oksana was growing up in the family. Parents divorced when Katya was 10 years old. These were the 90s, a difficult time in the life of the country and many families. Katya and Oksana’s mother had to work very hard to get the girls on their feet. She never remarried and devoted her life entirely to her daughters.
At school, Ekaterina Vulichenko studied well and loved exact sciences. She attended a mathematics school and took part in various Olympiads. Her dream was mechanical engineering.
But one day she was noticed by directors from the children’s film magazine “Yeralash” and invited the red-haired girl to star in several episodes. She agreed. Katya really liked the atmosphere of filming, the bustle on set and the very process of the birth of a movie. So Ekaterina first came to the theater studio, and then to the theater school that worked at the Shchepkinsky School.
A small role in the film “Snake Spring” helped confirm my desire to choose an acting profession. And although it was difficult for the young actress to play, Ekaterina finally understood: if she studies, then only to become an actress.
After graduating from school, Ekaterina Vulichenko took her documents to the Shchepkin Theater School and easily entered there.

Ekaterina Vulichenko was born into the family of a Soviet officer in Moscow. Father - Vladimir Ivanovich Vulichenko, Mother - Lyubov Sergeevna Vulichenko. The older sister is Oksana[1].
From grades 1 to 8, Ekaterina studied at school with a mathematical focus No. 752, then entered school with a theater focus No. 232, from which she graduated with honors in 1997.
After graduating from high school, she entered the Higher Theater School named after M. S. Shchepkin (the artistic director of the course is V. A. Safronov).
After graduating from college, Ekaterina became an actress at the Moscow Modern Theater[2].
She made her film debut as a child, starring in several episodes of the film magazine “Yeralash”[3], and played her first role on the big screen in the film “Snake Spring”, where she was voiced by Maria Poroshina[4].

In the early 2000s, the artist appeared in several films. The most significant work during this period was the role of Ekaterina Simakova in the dramatic film about the war “Star”. The most unforgettable moment on the set was the bombing scene. Ekaterina Vulichenko says: “If you remember, in the first frame of “Zvezda” I am running under bombing. The director showed me the trajectory of how to run: “Here and here there will be explosions.” We rehearsed everything. I kept thinking: how to play so that the audience believes that I am scared? As a result, when the “Motor!” signal sounded. and the explosives technicians began their work, I thought I would die of a broken heart. I shied away from exploding bombs - I don’t even know if I was running along the trajectory...”
After “Stars,” Katya was bombarded with new offers. She appears in several popular TV series, including the most significant “Free Woman”, “Samara Town”, “Keys to the Abyss” and “Bankers”. These melodramas very quickly made the artist popular and recognizable.
Soon her appearance in the films “The Frenchman”, “State Councilor”, “Love Me”, “About Love”, “Surrogate Mother” added to her fame. Ekaterina appears in these films with Russian cinema stars such as Nikita Mikhalkov, Konstantin Khabensky, Mikhail Efremov, Maria Golubkina and many others. Critics note that against their background, Ekaterina Vulichenko looks decent.
Between 2008 and 2012, Ekaterina Vulichenko starred in almost three dozen films. Among the most striking works: Sasha in the melodrama “From Prison and from the Bag”, Olya in the drama “Nine Signs of Treason”, Elena in “Women’s Tears”, Nadya Mitrofanova in the crime film “Special Correspondent of the Investigation Department”, Lyuba in the military series “Vera. Hope, Love”, Verka in the melodrama “I will never forget you”, Nadya in “Divorce”, cashier in “Once Upon a Time in Rostov”.
Later, Vulichenko appears on screens in the TV series “Russian Heiress”, “Goryunov”, “Umnik”, and the film “It Happened in Kuban”. In 2014, Ekaterina starred in the leading role in the TV series “Under Heels.” The actress’s most recent works were the films “The Consultant”, “Woman with Lilies”, “Veronica Doesn’t Want to Die”, “Thresholds”.
