Biography: briefly
The future actor was born in Noyabrsk on June 14, 1976. Anatoly had a very ordinary family, and he spent his childhood in the yard, like thousands of other Soviet boys. After graduating from high school, he decided that he would devote his life to creative activity, and entered the Academy of Theater Arts in St. Petersburg. This step predetermined his future biography. At the university, Anatoly Ilchenko not only learned acting, but also met his great first love.
The guy's chosen one was classmate Anna Kovalchuk. Even before classes began, the academy students were tasked with making renovations to the classroom. While working, the guys began to find out when someone’s birthday was, and it turned out that Anatoly was born on June 14, and Anna was born on June 15, only a year later. Thus, the young man was exactly one year and one day older than the girl. They laughed because of this coincidence, and this situation became the beginning of their long romance.
Carier start
In 1998, Anatoly Ilchenko and his beloved graduated from the academy. Anna was immediately accepted into the troupe of the Lensovet Theater, and the young man went to conquer Moscow. In the capital, the actor got a job at the Theater in the South-West, he was quickly introduced into the repertoire, and, it would seem, Ilchenko had a successful career ahead of him, but separation from Kovalchuk was unbearable for him. As a result, Anatoly decided to return to St. Petersburg. No matter how hard the chief director of the theater Valery Belikovich tried to convince the stubborn young man not to ruin his fate, he could not be persuaded. Ilchenko insisted on his own and left for the Northern capital.

Born on June 14, 1976 in Noyabrsk.
Anatoly Ilchenko began his path to art by studying at the St. Petersburg Academy of Theater Arts. Here, under the guidance of Professor A.A. Shvedersky, he learned the secrets of acting. Here he met his love.
He began dating classmate Anna Kovalchuk already in the first year of study. He recalls: “After admission, but even before classes, our course was entrusted with renovating the auditorium - during this activity we all became great friends. Me, Sergey Gorobchenko, Sasha Florinskaya (then she was Budanova). One day they started to find out when someone’s birthday was. I said that I have June 14th, and Kovalchuk says: “Oh, but I have June 15th!” From that moment, one might say, our romance began.” After the third year, Anatoly and Anna rented a room and began to live together. Young, in love, happy...
After graduating from the academy in 1998, Ilchenko and Kovalchuk had to part ways for a while - Anna was invited to the Lensovet Theater, and Anatoly decided to try himself in Moscow. In the capital, he got a job at the “Theater in the South-West” and very soon achieved good success. Everything was fine, only the girl I loved was far away...
As a result, Anatoly made a difficult decision for himself to leave the theater and return to the northern capital. Chief director Valery Belikovich, who did not want to lose an excellent actor, persuaded him: “Well, what is a wedding? Tomorrow you will get divorced and what will you do? And theater is forever. This is your home, you have great roles!” But Anatoly was adamant...
A year-long separation showed Anatoly Ilchenko and Anna Kovalchuk how dear they are to each other. Anatoly returned to St. Petersburg, they got married, and soon the happy couple had a daughter, Zlata.
By that time, Anna Kovalchuk was already a famous film actress, famous for her role as investigator Masha Shvetsova in the television series “Secrets of the Investigation.” Anatoly’s film career was much worse - only a few episodes. Moreover, after getting married, Anatoly Ilchenko decided to leave the acting profession altogether. Why? After all, he could have been taken to some St. Petersburg theater. Anatoly himself answers this way: “Anya was against it. Maybe she was afraid of the competition that often happens in acting families. Or she didn’t want me to go on tour and have fans. Although I have never been a walking husband..."
Anatoly Ilchenko got a job working for his father-in-law in an oil company. He admits that he does not regret it, since he gained enormous experience in management, which later came in handy when creating his own company organizing holidays and weddings. However, a person who has tried his hand at acting will always be attracted to this magical world. So Anatoly soon realized that without the theater he was suffocating.
Anatoly Ilchenko went to audition for all St. Petersburg theaters, and was accepted into the Comedians theater. The actor had to start from scratch, but over time, he became one of the leading actors. Gratiano in The Merchant of Venice, Lebret in Cyrano De Bergirac, Akaki in Gogol's The Overcoat and other roles helped him win the love of the audience.
As for family life... They lived with Anna for more than six years. And at some point both realized that there was no more love between them. “There was no betrayal on anyone’s part. A certain period of life has just ended,” says Anna. And Anatoly admits: “We didn’t have a family in the normal sense. At some point we realized that we had become brother and sister...” and adds: “I loved that girl from the theater institute with Mokhova. Kind, soft, sincere and... very gentle Anya Kovalchuk.” Now, according to Anatoly, she has become a completely different person.
Realizing that there was no point in maintaining such a relationship further, they separated. They separated quietly, peacefully and to the great surprise of those around them, who considered them an ideal couple.
Today, Anatoly Ilchenko continues to successfully play in the Comedians Theater. With cinema, it’s still a little worse - only a few roles in TV series: “The Inner Circle”, “Airport 2”, etc. But the situation is changing. And if yesterday they talked about him as the husband of actress Anna Kovalchuk, then today - more and more often, as about the actor Anatoly Ilchenko. So everything is still ahead for Anatoly.
Marriage to Anna Kovalchuk
In 1999, after Anatoly’s return, the couple submitted an application to the registry office and soon legalized their relationship. A year later, a daughter, Zlata, was born into the family.
Anna Kovalchuk's career was on the rise; she received the main role in the film “Secrets of the Investigation,” which made her famous. As for Anatoly Ilchenko, he had nothing to boast of, except perhaps a few episodic roles. The first films with his participation were “The Hunt for Cinderella” and “Secrets of the Investigation” released in 2000.
The actor decided that he needed to leave the profession and did not get a job in the theater. He went to work for his wife's father at an oil company. There he learned a lot about management and gained experience, which allowed him to later create his own company organizing festive events. Soon his brainchild began to generate good income. But Anatoly Ilchenko understood that he was first of all an actor, and only then a businessman, and he was cramped in the world that he had created around himself.
In his personal life, too, everything was not smooth. After six years of marriage, the couple realized that they no longer loved each other and there was no point in staying together. In 2005, their divorce took place. The couple was married, so the church marriage had to be dissolved. Anatoly Ilchenko left a three-room apartment to his ex-wife and daughter, and he himself moved to rented housing.

Everything from scratch
The actor decided to return to the stage. He was accepted into the Comedians theater. At first he was given small roles, but soon he became a leading artist, playing in the productions of “Cyrano De Bergirac”, “The Merchant of Venice”, “The Overcoat”, which brought him his first fame and popularity.

For many years of fruitful work and significant contribution to the development of Russian culture, in 2010 the actor was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
Communication with my daughter
After his divorce from Anna Kovalchuk, Ilchenko did not stop communicating with his daughter Zlata and took her every weekend. From the very birth of the child, he showed himself as a caring father: he bathed the baby, walked with her, read books. By the way, Anatoly was even present at the birth and saw how Zlata was born. Kovalchuk and Ilchenko filmed the birth of their daughter and then included this episode in the series “Secrets of the Investigation.” The actor admits that he cries every time he sees this episode.
After the divorce, there were difficulties in the relationship between Anatoly and Anna, but for the sake of their daughter’s happiness they were able to overcome them. In the end, everything fell into place, Zlata’s parents chose a school together and took her to first grade. It must be said that the girl has been an actress since childhood and has acted professionally in films. In “Secrets of the Investigation” she played the daughter of Masha Shevtsova, the character of Anna Kovalchuk. Zlata spent all her fees on horses: she is seriously interested in equestrian sports.
Now the girl is eighteen years old, she is studying at one of the St. Petersburg universities, but her future profession is not related to cinema.

Marriage to Natalya Terekhova
In 2005, a new actress, Natalya Terekhova, came to the Comedians theater, where the actor served. Ilchenko immediately liked her, but he could not openly show sympathy, because Terekhova was married. Allegedly from a mysterious admirer after the performances, Anatoly presented the girl with soft toys and flowers. But soon the secret became clear, and Terekhova found out who the mysterious admirer was. This was very opportune, because she had just broken off her relationship with her first husband.
Ilchenko helped Natalya cope with depression after a divorce. He was modest, shy and romantic, which won over the actress. The lovers walked around St. Petersburg, visited friends, went to clubs, and celebrated the New Year together. Over time, the couple decided to live together, and almost immediately after this, Ilchenko proposed to Terekhova.
Today the couple are happy together. They have two sons: the eldest, Dmitry, was born in 2011, and the youngest, Artem, was born in 2013. In an interview, Natalya Terekhova admitted more than once that Anatoly Ilchenko is the husband she always dreamed of, because in her first marriage she had to solve all the problems herself, and her second husband took on all the difficulties, and she is with him as if behind a stone wall.
The family spends all vacations together. Anatoly introduced Natalia to skiing, which he adores.
