Alexander and his older brother Andrei were raised by their mother. Being pregnant for the second time, the woman hoped that a curly-haired girl would be born, but fate decreed otherwise. Sasha grew up as an active guy and participated in all school events. After classes, the future star gathered the local audience near the entrance, impersonating famous artists and singers.

Alexander Morozov is the hero of the new issue “When everyone is at home”

This Sunday, Timur Kizyakov and the team of the “When Everyone is Home” program went for the second time to visit the comedian, pop artist and actor, a regular participant in the programs “Smehoponarama” and “Curves Mirror” on the “Russia” channel, Alexander Morozov.

In the couple of years that have passed since the comedian’s last meeting with Timur Kizyakov, he lost 30 kilograms, but never started a family. Morozov admits that he does not feel loneliness; rather, on the contrary, he enjoys solitude. “Because the person is public, constantly in public. Maybe that’s why I want to be alone,” said Alexander.

Now all the comedian’s concerts are successful, but when he came from Samara to conquer Moscow for the first time in the 90s as part of the Comics group, the capital did not give up the first time. Then the team was assigned to perform at a club where there was no place for pop numbers. Fortunately, a sponsor was found who later helped Morozov get back to Moscow, and the second “assault” was already successful.

The artist also remembered his youth, how he was kicked out of school after the eighth grade. Alexander said that he always told his teachers about his desire to become an actor, but they just laughed. “Why can adults laugh so much at a child, at his dream? I still don’t understand,” Morozov said. At school, he was given two paths: either prison or the army.

Once he really almost went to prison under Article 111 of the Criminal Code - intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm. “It was a noble act. One man wanted to rape the girls. I had to beat him hard,” the artist admitted.

How was he able to escape punishment? What is Alexander's secret to losing weight? What does the artist like to do on his days off? And how did it happen that the school principal beat him up? The answers are in the program “When everyone is at home with Timur Kizyakov.”

From welder to comedian

Having received a matriculation certificate, Alexander entered the Samara school, choosing the profession of a welder. The guy graduated from vocational school with honors, but he didn’t want to work in his specialty. After several part-time jobs, the guy decides to enter the Institute of Arts and Culture in the directing department.

Unexpectedly, Morozov managed to enter a university. Here, in addition to learning acting, he demonstrated his welding skills. Alexander welded a balcony at his native institute, where students now rehearse. During his student years, the guy and three classmates founded the humorous project “Comics ,” with which he performed at city events.

Having received his diploma, Alexander and his team set off to conquer the capital. At first, the guys lived in a one-room apartment on the outskirts of Moscow. The future modern pop star occupied the bathroom. The constant lack of money and stagnant popularity led to Morozov’s friends returning to Samara.

The early years of humorist Alexander Morozov

The first unpleasant situation in the fate of Alexander Morozov occurred even before the future comedian was born.
The thing is that the comedian’s mother initially seriously thought about having an abortion. At that moment, the woman already had one child (eldest son Andrei), and besides him, she also had big plans to conquer Moscow, which the second child did not contribute to in any way. The only thing that saved the future comedian’s life was the erroneous message from the gynecologist that a girl was to be born. Alexander Morozov's mother always dreamed of a daughter, and therefore decided to save the fetus. Although, of course, instead of a girl, another boy was born. And not the cutest either. Alexander Morozov - Fools - Distorting Mirror One way or another, Alexander Morozov was born. From a very early age he was a very mischievous child. The future artist constantly acted out various scenes in front of the entrance, sang, danced, which greatly delighted the old women of Samara, who became his first spectators. To some extent, such a craving for art was passed on to him from his mother, Lyudmila Konstantinovna. Once upon a time, a woman sang in a choir and even once performed at a Samara concert in front of Nikita Khrushchev himself. Looking at the impromptu performances of the young comedian, everyone said that he had great talent. However, deep down, few believed that Sasha would really become a professional artist. His family lived quite poorly, and he himself only got C grades at school. Therefore, the choice of becoming an electric welder seemed completely justified.

It is very noteworthy that Samara prof. Alexander graduated from college with honors. Although he never became a welder. Even during his studies, Morozov clearly realized that he had made a mistake in choosing a profession. According to one legend, “insight” came to the future artist while digging a trench in the pouring rain. At that moment, as some biographers report, Alexander swore to himself that he would make his way into the theater studio at any cost.

Ultimately, this is what happened. In 1991, he entered the Samara Institute of Arts and Culture. It is quite remarkable that the day of passing the entrance exams coincided with the future comedian’s eighteenth birthday. Before the examination committee, the actor performed a small miniature, during which a caterpillar turned into a butterfly, which brought recognized theater figures to indescribable delight.

Long-awaited recognition

Alexander was in no hurry to give up, but got a job at the clownery theater of Teresa Durova. It cannot be said that the life of the Samara guy immediately improved and began to flourish, but he had enough for food and accommodation in the capital. In 1998, Morozov’s usual life was turned upside down. The eminent American actor Chuck Norris came to Russia and organized a competition for young artists called “Stars of the 21st Century”.

Alexander didn’t doubt it for a minute, submitted an application to participate in the competition and did not regret it. His confident performance brought the artist his first significant award; he became the winner in the “Best Humorist” category. The popular comedian Yan Arlazarov was present at the festival and offered Morozov cooperation. So the two charismatic comedians began performing in a duet.

In 1999, Alexander, at the insistence of Ian, went to the “Cup of Humor” competition of pop artists. Luck was again on the side of the persistent and talented guy. Then Morozov participated in the international competition named after Arkady Raikin, where he again won a prize.

New acquaintances brought Alexander together with Yevgeny Petrosyan. The comedians quickly found a common language. Soon, the guru of humor invited Morozov to join his project “Corrupt Mirror”, which at that time was already airing on the leading channel in Russia. So the comedian began to regularly appear on the stage of a popular program, where he transformed into charming simple women.

Alexander also participated in the sketches of the trio “Brothers in Mind” in the company of Viktor Razumovsky and Mikhail Tserishenko. Then the comedian began performing in such projects as “Laughter Panorama” and “Petrosyan Show”.

In 2020, the trio “Brothers in Reason” left Tserishenko, who was replaced by the young artist Mikhail Belov, who participated in the projects “It’s Funny” and “Petrosyan Show”.

In the same year, Morozov became a participant in the Fifty Shades of Funny program. The artist joined the cabaret duet “Neparni”, which is represented by Oksana Nevezhina and Daria Rudneva. The charismatic trio won the love and recognition of viewers not only in Russia, but also far beyond its borders.
