Kenan Imirzalıoğlu is a Turkish actor, model, winner of national and international modeling competitions. He became famous in his homeland after playing the main roles in the TV series “Ezel” and “Long Story”.
Kenan Imirzalıoğlu was born in the village of Uçem near Ankara. The boy became the youngest child in a family of villagers and the second son. Kenan Imirzalıoğlu received his primary school education in his native village. But the average had to be obtained at a school in the capital, in Ankara. The family moved there when the youngest son turned 12 years old.

Kenan is the third oldest and second boy child in the family. His older brother's name is Darvish, and his sister's name is Yasmin. His parents were simple village residents. But many people around him already began to notice that from an early age the boy was noticeably handsome. There, in the village, young Kenan studied in primary school, and later, the entire Imirzalioglu family moved to Ankara.
In Ankara, Kenan continued his studies. Now the actor's height is 192 centimeters. He was not short in childhood, and, as a result, he was fond of basketball. At school, Kenan liked disciplines with a mathematical bias more than the humanities. Most likely, this ability later became the reason for Kenan Imirzalıoğlu’s admission to the Faculty of Mathematics at Istanbul University.
One day one of his friends suggested that Kenan improve his financial wealth by working part-time as a model. After Kenan starred in several photo shoots, young Imirzalıoğlu had the idea of trying himself as an actor.

Having received his primary education in his native village of Uchem, Kenan, at the age of 12, went to the capital of Turkey, Ankara, where he continued his studies by entering a secondary school. After completing his secondary education, Kenan headed to Istanbul to receive higher education. He entered Yildiz Technical University and today, Kenan has a bachelor's degree in mathematics.

Kenan took part in the “Best Model of Turkey 1997” competition, where he was among the top 20 out of 4,000 candidates. He reached the finals and became the winner of this competition. In the same year, he took part in the “Best Model of the World 1997” competition, where he also won and brought Turkey the first highest award of this competition[3].
Acting career[edit | edit code]
Thanks to his victories in modeling competitions, producer and screenwriter Osman Sinav noticed him and offered him the main role in the series “Crazy Heart” (Deli Yürek), thanks to which Kenan decided to become an actor.[4] Recognition came after several years of fruitful work. Kenan has participated in 14 projects. His latest project at the moment (Mehmed. Conqueror of the World / Mehmed. Bir Cihan Fatihi) is broadcast on the Turkish channel “D”.
