Early years, childhood and family of Alexander Klyukvin

Alexander Vladimirovich Klyukvin was born in Irkutsk on April 26, 1956. Our today's hero began to get involved in theatrical art from an early age. As the actor himself recalls, his first performance as part of the KVN school team, in which he played the role of the Serpent Gorynych, was fateful in this regard. It was after that very school concert that he suddenly clearly realized that he wanted to become a famous actor in the future.

After graduating from high school, Alexander went to Moscow. However, he did not like GITIS, and the young actor did not dare to go there. After this, Klyukvin went to the Moscow Art Theater, but the period of the introductory company was already over by that time, and therefore our today’s hero decided to get a job at a local theater as a set assembler.

Characters from American films and cartoons speak in the voice of Russian actor Alexander Klyukvin.

As for acting education, in this regard, Alexander’s first mentor was the famous theater artist and teacher Mikhail Romanenko. Having caught his eye one day, Klyukvin agreed to audition, but subsequently the famous master rated his creative abilities rather low. Klyukvin was able to achieve his goal only thanks to his perseverance. After much persuasion, Romanenko decided to take the young guy on a probationary period. So our today's hero ended up in the Harmony theater studio, which was headed by Mikhail Yuryevich.

It was the time spent in Romanenko’s workshop that allowed Alexander Klyukvin to feel like a professional actor for the first time. He grew, improved, and therefore at a certain point he even managed to enter the famous Shchepkinsky School.

Actor's family

The personal life of actor Alexander Klyukvin is very multifaceted. He was married several times. His second wife, Elena, is a designer. Their daughter together works as a tutor after graduating from university. She speaks excellent French, Italian and English.

Now Alexander is married for the third time. His wife's name is Tamara. She is 30 years younger than her husband. In 2014, they had a daughter, whom they named Antonina. A photo of actor Alexander Klyukvin and his family is posted in the article. He is simply crazy about his daughter and never ceases to praise her and constantly admire her.

Alexandra’s sister, Maria, did not stray far from the creative path. She is also actively involved in film scoring. You could say that this is their family trait.

Star Trek actor Alexander Klyukvin

In 1978, after graduating from a theater university, our today's hero began working at the Maly Theater as a permanent member of the theater troupe. In this place he played a wide variety of roles, having appeared in more than forty performances over many years! Among his stage works are the productions “The Inspector General”, “The Cherry Orchard”, “The Man Who Laughs”, “Profitable Place”, “Talents and Admirers”, as well as many other wonderful performances.

As for work in the field of dubbing, it turned up to him almost by accident at one time. During the filming of a video version of one of the Maly Theater performances at Ostankino, Alexander Klyukvin made acquaintance with another famous actor Dmitry Nazarov

, who, in fact, invited Klyukvin to take part in dubbing a number of films.

In this regard, the actor’s first work was the animated series “DuckTales”. As part of this project, Alexander voiced one of the minor characters, but subsequently began to often receive other offers. So gradually our today's hero became a prominent figure in the world of dubbing. During his career, he managed to take part in dubbing more than five hundred (!) various Hollywood films and cartoons.

His voice can be heard in films by Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Stellan Skarsgard, Donald Sutherland, and many other famous actors. According to Alexander Klyukvin himself, his favorite job in the world of dubbing is voicing everyone’s favorite cartoon character named Alf from the cartoon series of the same name.

Alexander Klyukvin in cinema

Our today's hero's own acting career has always been no less bright and eventful. He began acting in films in 1984. His first work was a small role in the mini-series “The Shore of His Life.” However, later Alexander Klyukvin often played central characters in films and on television.

Among the best works played by our today's hero, it is worth noting roles in the series “Soldiers” (9 and 10), “Euphrosyne”, “Two Fates” (2 and 3), as well as the feature films “Admiral”, “Breakthrough”, “ Whisper of orange clouds." As a rule, Alexander Klyukvin played minor characters. However, his roles were always very rich, bright and colorful, and therefore were always well remembered by the audience. Alexander worked on the same set with such actors as Konstantin Khabensky, Liza Boyarskaya, Sergei Bezrukov, Anna Kovalchuk and others.

Perhaps it is for this reason that after many years of faithful service to the art of acting, our today's hero was awarded the title of People's Artist of Russia, as well as a special Prize from the Government of the Russian Federation.

  • The third wife is Tamara Nikolaevna Klyukvina (née Alekseeva; born August 16, 1985), deputy head of the director’s department of the State Academic Maly Theater of Russia[3].
Daughter - Antonina Aleksandrovna Klyukvina (born December 24, 2014). Antonina's godfather was Yuri Mikhailovich Belenky, producer[3].
  • Father-in-law - Nikolai Alekseev, retired police colonel[3].
  • Mother-in-law - Elena Alekseeva[3].
  • Alexander Klyukvin currently

Alexander Klyukvin does not like to talk about his personal life

Currently, Alexander Klyukvin still plays in the theater and appears on television. Our today's hero does not leave his native world of dubbing. In particular, for many years now Alexander Vladimirovich has been the official voice of the Rossiya channel. His most recent work as a voice-over artist includes such hits as “Django Unchained” and “Slaughter Revenge.”

Among other things, Alexander Klyukvin also often acts as a poet. Often, a talented actor writes lyrics for songs that are subsequently performed in various productions of the Maly Theater. It is very difficult not to admire such versatility of the actor’s talent. Perhaps this is why the classes that Alexander Vladimirovich teaches as a teacher at VGIK are always a great success among students.
