Victor Khorinyak is from Siberia. He grew up in a large, friendly family, where he was the youngest of three children. “Since I was the smallest, I received more love than older children - not only from my parents, I also received it from my grandparents. I don’t even remember if I was punished, and my character wasn’t the right one to conflict. They loved me so much that everyone forgave me,” admits the actor.
However, the boy was not spoiled, but he was active, purposeful and responsible - yes. From childhood, Victor made his own decisions and confidently walked towards his intended goal. So, he first decided to practice judo, and at the age of 10 he wanted to enter the cadet corps.
Parents always supported their son in his endeavors. And when he spoke about his intention to leave for Moscow after school, they did not dissuade him.
Going to the capital, Viktor Khorinyak still did not know for sure where he would go. Good USE results gave him some freedom of choice; all that remained was to make up his mind. And although throughout his childhood he enjoyed performing at all holidays and regularly took prizes in reading competitions, at first he considered theater universities only as a backup option.
In Moscow, everything changed dramatically, and yesterday’s cadet brought documents to the acting department. The handsome young man was noticed, and on his first attempt he entered the Moscow Art Theater School on the course of R. Kozak and D. Brusnikin.
For the next four years, the future artist practically did not leave the institute. From morning until late evening he studied, and at night he worked as a security guard in a restaurant. At just under 30 years old, Viktor Khorinyak can boast of an impressive filmography and participation in highly rated television series, but how did this young man decide to become an actor and what path did he take before he became famous?
Victor was born in the small town of Minusinsk , which was lost in the vast expanses of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The boy had a large family - his father and mother, his older brother and sister, as well as the grandfather of the future actor lived under the same roof.
As Victor himself notes, his family was very friendly, and everyone especially loved him and protected him in every possible way - after all, the future star was the smallest in the family. According to the recollections of his relatives, Vitya had a restless disposition, he always came up with something and showed something, and became the undisputed star of all amateur performances and matinees.
Despite this, neither he nor his relatives can say how the young man came to the idea of becoming an actor.
By the time he chose his future profession, Victor had already been studying in the cadet corps for about seven years and was a completely self-sufficient young man. And he himself did not dream of the stage at all.
Having received the certificate, Khorinyak simply took the directory of universities, compiled from it a fairly large list of various institutions in Moscow, and went to the capital with all the documents necessary for admission. This is where the most interesting thing happened.
While still on the train, the young man was determined to enter medical school and devote himself to the profession of a doctor , but something influenced him and, leaving the platform of the capital’s station, Victor headed to the Moscow Art Theater School.
An unknown young man with a strict cadet upbringing entered this prestigious institution the first time, becoming a student in the course of D. Brusnikin and R. Kozak. Recognized teachers were able to see in Victor not just a handsome young man, but also a talented actor.
The young man began working in his second year. It was surprisingly busy; Victor rehearsed a lot, listened to lectures at the same time and was tired a lot. True, the future star liked this workload - it was thanks to her that he realized that he was completely right about his profession and acting was his destiny.
Immediately after receiving his diploma, the young man was invited to work at the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov , and in parallel with this, in the production of “Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk” in “Tabakerka”. By the way, the latter was quite a significant event in the life of the young man, because the artistic director of this theater, Oleg Pavlovich Tabakov, always amazed Khorinyak with his charisma and professionalism.
