Childhood and sports
Ksenia was born on October 10, 1976 in Russia. The woman did not talk much about her childhood in the media, so this period of her life is shrouded in mystery. Solovyova’s father was a Doctor of Technical Sciences, but nothing is known about her mother.
The only thing that Ksenia herself talked about was sports, which at that time played a big role for her. The girl attended many tennis competitions, which not only allowed her to receive the status of a candidate master of sports, but also strengthened her character.
Such a serious hobby taught the future journalist to be punctual, easy-going (sometimes she had to pack her suitcase in five minutes and take off) and rapid movement forward. Thanks to this, Ksenia Solovyova can boast of increased efficiency and the ability to take responsibility. Although, as the woman herself now says, as a child, she was a little scared to spend the night on reserved seat trains and live in hostels.
But even such a frantic pace of life did not break Ksenia; moreover, for quite a long time the girl considered the world a safe and fair place. Because of this, when she first had to face deception, the future journalist was quite shocked.
Daughter of Vladimir Solovyov - Sofia-Betina Solovyova
The daughter of Vladimir Solovyov, Sofia, Betina Solovyova, was born in 2004 in the man’s third marriage. The journalist's wife Elga gave both daughters very beautiful double names, but the boys in the family have familiar Russian names.
Sofia is still only a teenager, but she can already be seen with the naked eye. That the girl is growing up simply beautiful. She has long brown hair and light blue eyes. While Sophie is studying at an elite school in Moscow, she is already thinking about what she wants to become in the future. The girl dreams of becoming an actress.
Career
After graduating from the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University. Lomonosova Kenya Solovyova, whose biography was rather vague up to this point, finally took her first steps in her chosen profession. She began her journey in the magazine “OM”, where she was entrusted with the “Columns” section. For the girl, this was a colossal breakthrough, since previously she had only written notes for tennis publications. Ksenia liked working in this glossy magazine, but when two years later, having already gained experience, she was invited to Gala to the position of editor of the beauty department, she could not refuse.
So Ksenia Solovyova, together with the Moscow team, attended an internship in Paris. There they greatly surprised local workers with their rapid career growth, because back then, in order to achieve such heights, French women devoted all their time to the publication. And of course, the Parisian beauty editors were ladies over 50, very particular about their appearance.
Childhood and youth
Victoria Solovyova was born in the town of Torez, Donetsk region on February 23, 1989. The father of the future actress worked as a mechanic, and her mother worked as a technologist at a bakery. Victoria didn’t even think about a creative profession. The girl planned to become a psychologist and after graduating from school she went to Kyiv and entered the pedagogical university there.
Actress Victoria Solovyova
A sharp turn in Victoria’s fate and plans occurred after a chance meeting with director Nikita Mikhalkov. The girl came to a creative evening that Mikhalkov held in Kyiv. The famous director invited the girl’s companion to have dinner at a restaurant, and Victoria went there with him.
Finding herself at the same table with Mikhalkov, the girl started talking to him. At the request of the famous director, Victoria spoke about herself. The girl did not feel embarrassed.
Victoria Solovyova and Nikita Mikhalkov
Having started talking about her hometown of Torez, Victoria imitated the manner of speech of the local “brothers”, and at that moment Mikhalkov asked if the girl had any desire to try herself as an actress.
Victoria took these words as a joke, but soon the director called her and actually invited her to come and take part in the audition. This was a huge shock for Victoria, but she did not refuse.
Victoria Solovyova in the theater
In 2009, Victoria became a student at the Shchepkin Higher Theater School. Nikita Mikhalkov contributed to this by talking about Victoria with the rector. In 2013, Victoria graduated from college and immediately received an offer of cooperation from the Lenkom Theater.
There the girl began to play in the play “Jester Balakirev”. Victoria got the role of Empress Catherine there. The young actress also played on the Lenkom stage in the plays “Moscow-Petushki” and “Juno and Avos”.
New round
In 2007, Ksenia took up the position of deputy editor-in-chief at Tatler, while simultaneously being in full charge of the beauty department. She participated in the launch of the magazine on the Russian market, so she is well versed in its target audience and strives to improve the publication for it.
By 2010, Ksenia Solovyova achieved a promotion, receiving the position of editor-in-chief. She took the place of Victoria Davydova, who headed another prestigious magazine. This personnel reshuffle was carried out with the approval of the publishing house, whose president noted Ksenia as an extremely talented employee, of whom there are very few in the glossy industry.
"Tatler"
The editor of the magazine positions his brainchild as a publication that writes “for people about people.” Solovyova is very proud of him and how many stories have already been told, despite criticism of the narrow circle of heroes. She explains this by the fact that Tatler does not talk about the entire “star world”, because there are those who would not like to reveal their condition on the pages of the glossy.
Ksenia constantly adds something new to the magazine, trying to write about people of all ages, including children. In a word, the development of this publication under her leadership does not stop, and whenever possible, the editor introduces something new into it in order to expand the audience.
Working with so many people allows Ksenia to discover previously unfamiliar facets of human nature, but the woman tries to look at it positively and highlight only those qualities that appeal to her.
Personal life
Perhaps it is this area that the Tatler editor protects most carefully from prying eyes. Information about who Ksenia Solovyova’s husband is has never leaked to the media. And, despite public interest, the woman is clearly not ready to disclose this information publicly.
In general, Solovyova’s biography literally has to be pieced together from magazine articles, interviews and videos. Therefore, only her close and, possibly, ardent fans who tirelessly follow news updates about Ksenia can have the most accurate information.
However, some people, because of the woman’s surname, mistakenly believe that her husband was Dmitry Solovyov. However, the skater has nothing to do with the Tatler editor. Moreover, he was never the subject of an article in this magazine. Therefore, the news that Ksenia Stolbova and Dmitry Solovyov broke up has nothing to do with editor Solovyova.

We’ve heard a lot about Ksenia Anatolyevna’s Twitter battles with Tina Kandelaki for a long time: they flare up and then fade away. But then came the turn of the battle on the now fashionable Instagram, albeit with a different opponent. On purpose, or by accident Ksenia Sobchak , complaining about the presentation of the text under the photo collage with her participation, mixed up the name of the editor-in-chief of Tatler magazine, signing it as Sokolova instead of Solovyova. However, and - in her opinion, the guilty one - the publication was indicated incorrectly. In fact, the material in question was from a completely different magazine - Allure. The namesake of SNC editor-in-chief Ksenia Solovyova announced this in a joking manner :
tatler_russia @xenia_sobchak Ksyusha, what kind of attack? Why am I Sokolova again, and the Allure magazine suddenly became Tatler? Did Blueberry Forte have the opposite effect? Don't confuse it with Forte dei Marmi!
Fans of Sobchak and Solovyova did not remain in debt. Below we present only part of the comments to the posts of both Ksenias (spelling preserved).
Under the text Sobchak :
bugandpepper You probably meant “what kind of nonsense? :))))” Tatler is aiming at an audience that doesn’t know who Natasha Goldenberg is or that such a headdress is not shocking, and willingly quotes and discusses any text . They also need to fill the stripes, and what is not so important.
piu_piu Tatler audience are the only ones who know who Goldenberg is @bugandpepper
yana_beautyinsider @xenia_sobchak Ksenia, Tatler has nothing to do with it, this is an article from allure, the author is me, and my ex-editor-in-chief @kseniavagner told me about the protest against glamor and the Sensai napkin:) address all complaints to her, and not to the dear Ksyusha Solovyova :)
xenia_sobchak @yana_beautyinsider oook. This was sent to me as a tatler. Napkins are undoubtedly your journalistic success; I really love them. But you can find the image with knitted hats in the Duma and in Goldenberg and Bondarchuk. Why did I get it for everyone? :)
yana_beautyinsider @xenia_sobchak Ksenia, you got it because Natasha and Mira didn’t catch the eye of Wagner at the Chanel show wearing hats :)) the story is not about hats, I was reporting about fashion weeks, and who is in what is just a small part of it. And the brightest always get more - but you know this very well even without me :)
marinasineglazka In the cold season it is very easy to distinguish smart girls from beautiful ones. Smart people wear hats, beautiful people take care of their hair...)))))))
marala15 Hat, like a seller from a vegetable stall in modern times!!!
stasyaber The hat is cool, but not with an evening dress and not indoors, did you not couple in it? Usually they always do it when your hair is dirty and you don’t really want to wash your hair or style it. You yourself went to the protest, and here you have a discussion in the magazine.
my_pion @yana_beautyinsider Yana, hello. I have been buying the Russian magazine Allure since its very first September issue in 2012, with the exception of the last three months because I now live in Britain. Please tell me, do internationally renowned magazines follow any specific format? Is the Russian magazine Allure different in character from the American one? About the article really looks like text from a yellow press strip; they are usually published in clouds in paperback magazines. I don’t doubt your professionalism, but there must be some line between decent gloss and gossip from a newspaper?
yana_beautyinsider @my_pion I don’t really understand what you mean by the yellow press, since I don’t read it :) but this article does not belong to the category of yellow in any way - I wrote what I saw at fashion weeks. Whether it's yellow, green or another color - you know best :)
my_pion @yana_beautyinsider God forbid, I didn’t call your article yellow. You wrote that SOBCHAK (!) came in a knitted hat, which attracted a lot of discussion, sweated in this hat and applied Sensei napkins to her forehead. Well, this is somehow strange even for Allure.
tanya_solovyeva @yana_beautyinsider and snc magazine, of course, is more professional with their stolen interviews)))
my_pion @yana_beautyinsider although, Yana, I could be wrong, maybe the concept of the magazine has changed over three issues and such articles are the norm. nothing personal!
yana_beautyinsider @my_pion yes, Sobchak came in a hat, and Anna dela Russo wore Mickey Mouse ears, and the World Duma changed her lipsticks and hairstyles - and what is yellow, terrible, green here?!:) read the big Soviet encyclopedia, they don’t write such nonsense there :)
Under Solovyova's
:
yana_beautyinsider @tatler_russia I already took all the blame on myself and partially immediately pushed it onto @kseniavagner :)
nataliakurt It’s strange when a representative of not the latest printed publication in Russia (Tatler) stoops to such comments
kristi_di @nataliakurt completely agree!!! I didn’t expect it to be so childish))) Well, couldn’t the editor-in-chief of such a wonderful magazine competently, politically correct, respond to the indignation, even if it was not deserved?!!!! There is so much anger, bile and hatred in people ((((They will wear beautiful dresses, make a kind face.... You would never think about it)))))
blackdragon26 @passionofvenus, for some reason my comment was deleted. Where I live, if a lady wears a hat in the summer, it means she's fighting cancer. No one mocks the sick. In this case, the hat was not the most ideal wardrobe choice. and that's my humble opinion and two cents
passionofvenus @blackdragon26 “for the chemo ladies.” Very nice of you, of course. Didn't you try to think a little with your head before making such comparisons?
ninodzyapshipa Hats are most likely for those who did not have time to wash their hair in the morning...
avolskaya As always, a witty answer from @tatler_russia . @smaildinara @nika100900 @sashakazak @nataliakurt for God's sake, try to start studying Russian, it's not too late to do it at any age
mrs_blacksmith A professional working in glossy magazine will distinguish one magazine from another only by the font, without looking at the cover. The confusion with the surname is a no less strange story: Ksenia Sobchak wrote a column for us for many months. Need I say that such a post is disrespectful to my colleagues? So the “blueberry” against this background is not a berry, but a flower.
anna_pchelkina (Tatler publisher) Dear SNC editors and @xenia_sobchak! Learn to check your facts and watch your texts, please. Everything has a limit!
falsediamond I don’t know, the joke about Forte is quite “passed”))) before “attacks” it is advisable to check the facts, if this is not a “special attack”... I’m talking about K. Sobchak.
mil3na_88 What happened in Forte dei Marmi? (this question interests us too)
(It was touching how Svetlana Takkori fussed, again promoting her hats)
staccori @xenia_sobchak @tatler_russia Thank you for advertising my hat! Tak.Ori Made in Italy. I made the collection for you with love and enthusiasm! @takorimadeinitaly Both Ksenias are wonderful girls! And there are enough different hats for everyone! . Ksenia @xenia_sobchak wear blue flowers too! This is our best seller!
allure_russia @mrs_blacksmith We didn’t expect such strife, to be honest... We, in fact, didn’t even write that @xenia_sobchak looks ugly in a hat. They just stated that she was hot (which is already obvious). And that, perhaps, the choice of such a costume was due not only to love for @staccori (the hat, by the way, is cool). Addressing the wrong journal in response, deliberately distorting the last name of the editor-in-chief, is strange.
anyaziourova @allure_russia (symbol of “class”), and Ksyusha @tatler_russia is smart and talented
ovremi @tatler_russia @anna_pchelkina yeah, guys, you’ve already done a lot since Davydova, then there was Instagram with the editor-in-chief’s pedicure, and now with the toxicity of consciousness. Ksenia, draw your conclusions, for some reason Sobchak never confuses the surname Khromchenko or Doletskaya.. I’ll go and burn my collection of your “respected” publication
elenassh What does blueberries have to do with it?)) Explain!))
amina1616 @elenassh my eyesight is kind of bad.. In general, it’s stupid, why are you doing this, Tatlerists!)
mississin What kind of reaction did you expect?! Oh, dear Ksenia Anatolyevna, you will generously forgive us! But it’s not us, by God, it’s not us... Etc.? Sobchak once again deliberately distorts his last name and makes stupid accusations. If you're a pro, check the facts! Absolutely adequate reaction!
inessa_klevizal @tatler_russia brilliant, competent answer to the boorish Sobchak. I'm tired of her rude remarks that are not to the point.
jignatieva Here they are “glamorous wars or a ball of kissing snakes”
A curtain.
Hobbies
Here, unfortunately, there is nothing special to brag about either. Work and daughter take up all of Ksenia’s free time. Her day starts at 6:30 am and can last until late at night if there is a meeting planned. The only thing that still has strength and resources left is tennis; Solovyova never gave it up and clearly does not intend to do so in the future.
However, the woman does not complain about life at all. She is not at all tired of Tatler - according to Ksenia, she is never bored at work. Solovyova also spends her free time maintaining a mini-blog on Instagram. For the most part it is dedicated to the magazine, but sometimes a woman posts her photographs in it and is happy to make contact with commentators.
The only rule the Tatler editor follows is to never post pictures of anyone in his family. Ksenia is especially against posting photos of her children. She believes that there is no need for them to “shine” on her Instagram and earn undeserved fame.
Thus, Solovyova’s life can be called bright and eventful, although it is difficult to envy her - after all, the woman devotes herself entirely to her favorite pastime, so by the end of the day she can barely stand on her feet.
