Mikhail Tserishenko is an actor, theater director, star of Distorting Mirror, and a comedian whose monologues make the most gloomy people smile.

In one of his interviews, the artist briefly spoke about his childhood:
" I am from Kyiv. Parents are masters of sports in artistic gymnastics. My father taught at the Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers in the department of physical education, then was a physical education teacher at school. Mom, having finished performing in professional competitions, became a functionary in the sports society. Thank God, both are alive and well, still living in Kyiv. And the younger brother followed in their footsteps, only he became interested in sports acrobatics. And I, as they say correctly, there’s a black sheep in the family, didn’t like sports and became an artist.”
Mikhail Tserishenko was born on September 19, 1960 in the capital of Ukraine - Kyiv. The actor’s parents are masters of sports in artistic gymnastics; they did not follow the family’s professional path, although they spent their childhood in the gym.

After graduating from school, he tried his luck at the Kiev Theater Institute, but did not pass the exam on the history of the USSR. He saluted his homeland by serving in the army, after which he entered the Kiev National University of Theater, Film and Television named after K. Karpenko-Kary. After graduating from high school in 1985, he worked at the Kiev Variety Theater. Thus began the artist’s journey to television screens.
Humor and creativity
For some time the actor continued to work in the theater. But in the turbulent 90s, the theater lost its appeal to audiences. Mikhail Tserishenko quit his job and went to sell literature near St. Sophia Cathedral in order to survive in difficult times. The artist owes the start of his television career to Anatoly Dyachenko, his theater partner. Dyachenko agreed on a role for a friend in Oksana Bayrak’s movie “Paid in Advance.”

After filming ended, Mikhail Tserishenko moved to Moscow, where he began acting in the humorous program “Oba-na!”, which brought the comedian popularity and recognition from the audience. The actor met the author of the program, Igor Ugolnikov, on the set of a movie.

After the war, she got married and became the mother of two girls. Our heroine's mother never worked. She was ill. In 1967, the woman passed away. Her grave is located next to the grave of her husband.
The singer had a sister, Lyudmila, who was born shortly after the Great Patriotic War. She raised her younger sister in her family. The woman worked at one of the capital's enterprises. In the mid-90s, Lyudmila Leonidovna suddenly passed away.
The artist communicates with her nephews. Dmitry is engaged in business. He is married and has raised a son and daughter. Niece Natalya works in one of the capital’s schools. She is married and has two sons.

The artist first married during his student years to fellow student Inna Kapinos. The couple lived in the theater dorm room, where Mikhail Tserishenko worked as a graphic designer. The young couple remained married for less than 3 years.

The actor’s second marriage happened a couple of years later, in which the couple lived for 6 years. The wife worked as a costume designer in the same theater where Mikhail Tserishenko worked. In his second marriage, the artist had a son, Victor, who currently works in the computer technology industry.
On the set of the film “Paid in Advance,” the actor met Ekaterina Semenova, who in the 90s was already a recognizable singer. The actor’s relationship with his wife was not going well, which became more and more obvious over time. And with Ekaterina Semenova it’s easy and smooth. At the time of meeting Mikhail, the singer was officially married, but did not live with her husband. The relationship in both families did not work out, so there was no point in preserving them.

The actor literally lived on trains, but at one point the question of where the couple was going to live became acute. “I never even thought about leaving Kyiv, not to mention ambitious plans to conquer the capital. I always wanted to live next to my parents. Not so that my mother, excuse me, would wash my shirts and socks, no. And to help them. Any parents deserve to have their children taken care of, but mine certainly do. However, life decreed otherwise. But I went to see my mom and dad very often, as soon as I had free time. Unfortunately, now there is no such opportunity as before.”
But the career of the beloved woman was on the rise, and the decision came by itself. The actor was more than once accused of having attached himself to the famous actress for the sake of profit and career, but the artist treated such accusations with his usual humor.
