Actress Lyudmila Gurchenko does not need any special introduction. She is known and loved by several generations of viewers. She was able to be remembered for her roles in films that were watched not only by people of the older generation, but also by young people.
The most important thing is that she remained desirable to men at any age. When the actress was already over 70, there was talk of her affair with a young designer who was 35 years younger than her.
During her life, Lyudmila Gurchenko was married six times. Probably, the constant love of men gave her energy and inspiration. This woman could not live a single day without love.
Marriage of convenience
Little Lucy grew up in a creative environment. Her parents were involved in art. The girl learned to sing very early and during the war years she earned her living in this way. When she graduated from school, the question of where to go to study next did not even arise. The talented schoolgirl decided to enroll in VGIK and she succeeded the first time.
Already as a student, Lyudmila began to try her hand at cinema. Director Vasily Ordynsky played an important role in this. He noticed the aspiring actress when she just became a university student. He literally fell in love with her beautiful facial features and chiseled figure.
Lyudmila decided for herself that her marriage to the director could become a profitable match for her. Ordynsky could become her personal director and direct her in his films. Lyudmila and Vasily got married. The man understood that the girl’s feelings were not sincere, but he loved her and tried to justify all her hopes.
Discord in the family occurred after Gurchenko was not approved for the main role in one of Ordynsky’s films. The commission rejected her candidacy, and the director simply could not resist her. After this incident, Lyudmila filed for divorce. The man still loved his wife and was against separation, but the actress was adamant.
People close to the director said that even decades after breaking up with Gurchenko, he could not forget her and stop loving her . And she simply chose to forget this marriage as a mistake of her youth.
Daughter of Lyudmila Gurchenko - Maria
The daughter of Lyudmila Gurchenko, Maria, was born in early June, in 1959, into a family of famous Soviet people. Lyudmila Gurchenko's second marriage did not last long. And after a rather painful divorce, the actress took her little daughter to Kharkov to be raised by her grandmother, so that she could pursue a career herself at that time.
A few years later, Masha again found herself in Moscow, with her mother. But it was difficult for her to find a common language with a woman who was virtually a stranger to her, because Maria had already gotten used to independence. The girl got married quite early, but, nevertheless, the main thing in life for her always remained family, and not work.
Fall in love with a handsome man
Having broken off her first relationship, the actress was ready for a new one. She was young and beautiful, and her career was just beginning. New love overtook Lyudmila unexpectedly. They met their future husband Boris Andronikashvili in the canteen of VGIK. The guy passing by looked at the girl so much that she almost lost consciousness from such a look.
Lyudmila was struck by Boris's beauty and plunged headlong into a new romance. The couple got married and were predicted to have a long and happy family life. At first everything was like that. The newlyweds always appeared together at all events and looked very harmonious. Lyudmila was madly in love with her man and was ready to make any sacrifice for him.
The fruit of such love was the birth of a child. The couple had a daughter, who was named Maria . But the birth of a child was not a joy for the actress. She hoped that she would have a son, whom she would name Mark in honor of her father. Another disappointment followed.
Gurchenko's daughter - Maria Koroleva
Lyudmila was forced to leave her career as an actress for some time and start raising a child. While she was busy with household chores, her husband often stayed late at work , and preferred to spend time in the company of friends. Soon the woman found out about his many mistresses.
Lyudmila calmly packed her things, took her daughter and filed for divorce. Boris didn’t really resist. So the couple calmly filed for divorce, and the actress promised herself that she would never give birth to children again.
What was the fate of Lyudmila Gurchenko’s first husband, film director Vasily Ordynsky
Last spring marked the eighth anniversary of the death of the legendary Russian actress and performer Lyudmila Markovna Gurchenko. She became famous not only for her striking film roles and magnificent voice, but also for her very rich personal life.

The People's Artist of the USSR has been officially married six times. But, according to some reports, before going to the registry office with Joseph Kobzon, who is considered her fourth legal husband, Lyudmila Markovna was married to musician Vladimir Bogdanov for a short time, and after breaking up with him, she even tore out the page with the stamp from her passport. However, this fact is not mentioned in the official biography of the actress.
Gurchenko herself did not hide the fact that she had always been particularly amorous; she could easily become carried away by a new man and just as quickly lose interest in him. This article will talk about the first official wife of the cult actress - film director and screenwriter Vasily Ordynsky, as well as how his life turned out after breaking up with Lyudmila Markovna.
Lyudmila Gurchenko and Vasily Ordynsky before they met
The future actress was born in the Ukrainian city of Kharkov, in 1935, on November 12, into a family of professional musicians. Both of her parents worked at the Philharmonic before the war: her father played the button accordion, and her mother sang, so little Lucy had a behind-the-scenes childhood, and she watched work on stage from an early age.

The girl’s completely happy and cloudless childhood was interrupted by the outbreak of war. In 1943, when Kharkov was liberated from occupation, Lucy went to first grade, and a year later her parents decided to send their talented child to a music school in order to develop her abilities.
After receiving her certificate, Gurchenko wanted to go to Moscow, where in 1953 she entered VGIK. She was one of the most talented and multifaceted students: she had a beautiful voice and good hearing, danced, acted on stage, and at first sight she made all the guys fall in love with her.
The future cinematographer Vasily Ordynsky was from Kostroma, where he was born in 1923, on April 6th. He dreamed of a big movie from an early age, but the war intervened in his plans. In 1941, 18-year-old Vasily was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. The young man took a course at a military school, and in 1942 he was sent to the front. He commanded a mortar company of a fire platoon of a special purpose battalion, reached Germany and was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, first degree.

However, despite all the trials and difficult war years, Vasily did not give up his dream of cinema. He entered the VGIK directing department, and in 1954 he made his debut film called “Trouble.”
Lyudmila Gurchenko and Vasily Ordynsky: a love story
When Ordynsky first saw young Gurchenko, he literally lost his head from love for her. They were introduced by Sergei Gerasimov, in whose workshop there was an unspoken rule: as soon as a new acting course was recruited, students of the directing department came to see them and get to know them.
At that time, the future actress was barely 18 years old, while Vasily was a full 12 years older than her and was already considered a fairly promising film director. Lyudmila was not embarrassed by such a significant age difference, and she reciprocated the man’s advances.
According to actress Zinaida Kiriyenko, who studied at VGIK together with Lyudmila Markovna in the same course and was friends with her, she started an affair with Ordynsky, mostly because of her career ambitions. The thing is that Vasily planned to film her in the leading role in his upcoming film - the melodrama “A Man Is Born.” However, when their relationship became known, the artistic council immediately “became to the death”, defending Soviet morality. They were gossiping that Ordynsky was trying to promote his young mistress in the cinema, so they spoke out almost unanimously against Gurchenko’s candidacy. Even the official registration of marriage did not help.

According to the same Kiriyenko, Lyudmila and Vasily signed secretly from everyone, even she, her best friend, had no idea about anything. From the registry office they came to visit her, sat together and drank tea, but they did not say a word about the fact that they had legalized their relationship. Zinaida found out about the wedding much later, purely by chance, and was very offended by her friend for hiding it from her.
The aspiring director took his young wife from a student dormitory near Moscow, and Lyudmila took her rightful place next to her husband in his cozy metropolitan apartment. At that time, she still naively believed that the main roles in Ordynsky’s films would go to her, but in reality everything turned out to be completely different.
In the film “A Man is Born,” the main role was played by actress Olga Bgan, but her heroine was voiced by Lyudmila Markovna. Gurchenko soon realized that her husband could not be her personal director, and he was not able to defend her candidacy for a particular role. This ended their family life, and the official marriage itself lasted a little more than one year. It is not known exactly when this union broke up. For a long time, the actress hid her first fleeting student marriage from everyone, for fear of ruining her biography. However, neither Ordynsky nor Gurchenko later ever publicly mentioned their relationship, trying to pretend that they did not know each other at all.

Lyudmila Gurchenko and Vasily Ordynsky: after separation
Lyudmila Markovna later tied the knot five more times (according to other sources, six times), in her second marriage she gave birth to her only child, daughter Maria, whose upbringing was mainly done by her grandmother, while the famous mother was building her career and personal life. By the way, not only fans of the actress, but also many of her colleagues did not know about the existence of Masha’s daughter for a long time.
The beautiful and talented artist easily parted with her once-beloved men; only her last two marriages were stable and long-lasting: with pianist Konstantin Kuperweiss and film producer Sergei Senin, with whom she lived until her death.

As for Vasily Ordynsky, after the success of the film “A Man is Born,” his career rapidly took off. He shot the melodramatic film “Peers”, the drama “Clouds over Borsk”, the military drama “At Your Doorstep”, and in 1964 the dramatic film “Big Ore” was released, which received rave reviews from film critics.
In the same year, 1964, 41-year-old Vasily tied the knot for the second time, and his chosen one was the young editor of Mosfilm, Marianna Rooz. Soon the couple had their only common daughter, whom the couple gave the name Ekaterina. Even as a child, little Katya played a small role in one of her father’s most famous works - the military-historical serial drama “Walking Through Torment”, however, in the future, the director’s heiress did not want to connect her life with cinema.
Ordynsky himself also played several episodic roles in films, in particular, he appeared as an officer in his own dramatic film “At Your Doorstep”, and also played the role of a political instructor in the cult four-part military drama “Shield and Sword”.

A fleeting romance
A woman like Lyudmila Gurchenko did not remain alone for long. Two years after her divorce from Andronikashvili, she met Alexander Fadeev , who was the adopted son of a famous Soviet writer.
Their acquaintance took place in an elite restaurant. At first, Gurchenko did not consider him as a potential spouse, but under the pressure of beautiful courtship she gave in. Lyudmila agreed to Fadeev’s proposal to become his wife. They formalized the relationship after just a few months of dating.
Lyudmila hoped that with Alexander she would find her feminine happiness. But that did not happen. Her husband spent most of his time in restaurants and devoted more time to his friends than to his wife. In fact, Gurchenko and Fadeev turned out to be completely different and could not give each other anything important. As a result, after two years of marriage, the couple divorced.
Relationship with daughter
The actress had a difficult relationship with her daughter, Maria Koroleva. Until the age of three, the child was raised by his grandparents, thereby allowing Gurchenko to continue his acting career. The girl took the reunion with her mother hard and even tried to run away back to her grandmother. Despite a series of stepfathers, a real family for mother and daughter did not work out in any way - Lyudmila Markovna was, first of all, an actress, Gurchenko spent a lot of time on set, and could go on tour for a long time. As a result, in childhood, Maria was quite often left to her own devices.
The actress herself, her entourage and fans hoped that Maria would eventually follow in the footsteps of her star mother, but even in her youth, Masha showed that she and Lyudmila were very different. The girl showed no inclination towards music or the stage, graduated from medical school, and, unlike her mother, who became an example of style and elegance, wore comfortable clothes and almost did not use cosmetics. Maria married an ordinary man and gave birth to two children of the same age. Lyudmila Gurchenko had a strong conflict with her son-in-law, because of which Maria first even divorced her husband, but then got back together.
The actress loved her grandchildren, named after her own parents, very much, but even they could not completely reconcile her with her daughter and her husband. The artist had high hopes for her grandson and granddaughter, seeing them as continuers of her acting endeavors.
In 1998, a tragedy occurred. Mark, the actress’s grandson, died suddenly. The young man died from a drug overdose. Maria knew about her son’s illness and fought his illness for a long time and unsuccessfully. According to rumors, Lyudmila Gurchenko did not come to the funeral, but in fact the actress was at the farewell and was very mournful, she just tried not to draw too much attention to her person.
Soon there was a deterioration in the relationship between mother and daughter. Lyudmila Markovna got married again. The sixth and last husband of the actress until her death was producer Sergei Senin. Gurchenko’s new husband could not get along with either his stepdaughter or his mother-in-law. As a result, a protracted conflict arose, which was aggravated by the division of the property of Lyudmila Gurchenko’s mother. The grandmother bequeathed her apartment to Maria, bypassing her star daughter. The actress did not accept this, and the matter went to court.
In the last years of the actress’s life, a rumor appeared in the press about Gurchenko’s affair with photographer Aslan Akhmadov. Lyudmila really said that she was in love with Aslan, but, most likely, she meant strong friendly feelings and admiration for his work. Akhmadov emphasizes that there was no love relationship between him and the actress. Lyudmila Markovna met a young man at a fashion show, Akhmadov offered her a thematic photo shoot dedicated to the myth of Oedipus, and later became her personal make-up artist.
Two stars
Lyudmila Gurchenko and Joseph Kobzon met in the same corridor. This is how their family life began. There was no acquaintance as such. The whole country knew them and they needed no introduction.
The initiative came from Kobzon. Lyudmila already had three unsuccessful marriages behind her and was rather pessimistic. For some time she did not respond to the singer’s advances. But he did not back down and the actress gave up.
The whole country followed the development of their relationship. It seemed that such a marriage would be successful. Two accomplished stars, two strong personalities, but this is precisely what prevented their happiness.
There were constant conflicts in the family, including on professional grounds. After several years of marriage, Lyudmila filed for divorce, but Joseph did not keep her.
Biography and career
The future star was born in Kharkov on November 12, 1935, and survived 2 years of occupation. After graduating from general education and music school, she entered VGIK on the first try. Lyudmila Gurchenko has been popular with the opposite sex since her youth, and at the dawn of her acting biography she already began collecting a collection of husbands.
By the time she received her first role, she had been married and divorced.
After the success of “Carnival Night” in 1956, Gurchenko was not soon able to go beyond the role of a vaudeville actress. She began to receive invitations to dramatic roles only after her 40th birthday.
Actress in the film "Carnival Night"
On the account of Lyudmila Markovna:
- one and a half hundred images embodied in cinema;
- two dozen roles played in 6 theaters;
- 17 music albums and 16 videos, including those filmed with the participation of other stars;
- participation in numerous television programs and non-fiction projects.
The actress and singer also tried her hand as a director, composer, and wrote 3 autobiographical books.
Hope for happiness
When Lyudmila Gurchenko was already 40 years old, and she did not hope to meet a real man, fate gave her a chance in the person of Konstantin Kuperweis . Their acquaintance was completely accidental, but continued for almost twenty years.
Konstantin became support and support for the actress, and for her daughter Maria he replaced her biological father. The man became Lyudmila’s personal guardian angel. He tried to predict all her desires and fulfill any whim.
For Gurchenko, the news that her husband had another woman came as a real shock.
For a long time she could not believe it. How could Konstantin deceive her like that, fulfill her every whim and at the same time have relationships on the side. She was able to survive this and let go of her unfaithful husband.
Death
On November 12, 2010, Lyudmila Gurchenko celebrated her 75th birthday on stage. She was congratulated by President Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, and Belarusian leader Lukashenko.
The last work in cinema was “Legend. Lyudmila Gurchenko in Kyiv.” An autobiographical project starting from the singer’s student years.
She died on March 30, 2011 at the age of 75. She experienced a hungry childhood during the war, arthritis, which caused deformed joints and caused unbearable pain, lost loved ones, suffered from loneliness and misunderstanding. In February 2011, she underwent surgery to replace a hip joint that was broken in a fall. On March 30, she began to have difficulty breathing, lost consciousness and collapsed on the floor in the house where she cohabited with her last lover.
The doctors did not have time to help. The cause of death was given as heart failure. She was buried in her last masterpiece: a champagne-colored dress, decorated with beads, at the Novodevichy cemetery near Vyacheslav Tikhonov and Oleg Yankovsky.
Little girl
It would seem that at 58 years old, looking for new love is practically impossible. But for Gurchenko, age was not a barrier. Her last husband was producer Sergei Senin. They met while working together on the film “Sex Tales.” Next to Sergei, the actress finally felt loved and protected.
She saw her father in her wife. Senin was similar to him both in appearance and character, and called Lyudmila his daughter. She was pleased to feel like before - a little perky girl who was loved and cared for.
Gurchenko lived with her sixth husband until the end of her life. She even died in his arms. She died happy and loved, as she dreamed of living her whole life.
Husbands of Lyudmila Gurchenko - Alexander Fadeev and Joseph Kobzon
But Prima managed to live in the status of a single woman for only 2 years. Then she met the adopted son of a famous writer, Alexander Fadeev.
The future spouses saw each other in a restaurant. The writer's son really liked the actress. Fadeev beautifully courted the young woman, and a few months later Lyudmila Markovna accepted his proposal.
But even in this marriage, the people’s artist did not find female happiness. Her husband did not pay enough attention to his wife, but mostly spent his time in restaurants and with friends. Therefore, after 2 years of marriage, the union broke up.
So the star of “Carnival Night” was left alone with the child. For a while, she didn’t even want to hear about the new relationship. But Joseph Kobzon managed to change her opinion. By that time both were quite famous. The two stars met in 1964, as they say, in the corridor of the All-Union Theater Society. Joseph fell in love with the beautiful actress, and then with difficulty got her phone number and invited her to dinner at a restaurant. At that time, Lyudmila Markovna was 29 years old, and he was 27.
But the young people signed almost spontaneously. Once Gurchenko came to support her beloved during a tour. But they categorically refused to accommodate an unscheduled couple in a double room. Then the director of the Philharmonic called the head of the registry office and the next day Lyudmila and Joseph were signed. In the evening, the newlyweds legally checked into a double room at the hotel.
But the marriage was not happy. Domestic problems, Lyudmila’s lack of a favorite job, and her husband’s reluctance to give birth to a child influenced the fact that the spouses began to quarrel frequently. In addition, the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law could not find a common language, and Gurchenko did not even come to family celebrations so as not to meet Joseph’s mother.
The marriage broke up with scandal. The former spouses did not speak to each other until the end of their days. Once Joseph Davydovich tried to make peace with his ex-wife, but in response Lyudmila Markovna whispered to him: “I hate it!” The former spouses were never able to forgive each other.
