The premiere of the series about Lyudmila Gurchenko will take place on November 9

Plot

The series tells not only about the work of the outstanding actress and singer, but also about her personal life. Or rather, about the men of Lyudmila Gurchenko. The creators avoided extramarital affairs, but spoke colorfully about relationships with their husbands. And Lyudmila Markovna had six of them.

Over the course of sixteen episodes, the main character meets another man, gets married, and breaks up with him. She also enjoys new roles and offers to participate in concerts. During downtime, he becomes depressed. This is the whole plot of the series “Lyudmila Gurchenko”.

Interview

About the profession:

“Self-realization is a more accurate word. A career is when you realized at 16 that you could be a star in Hollywood and decided to take over the world. And from that moment life turned into a competition for you. You have to be the best, you have to be the first. I've never been the best and I've never been the first. I believe that our profession is not competitive. She is self-knowledge.”

“I am often asked what is the difference between cinema and theater. My friend said it very well - you need to come to the theater to “repair.” Cinema still very often uses the developments of the theater. On stage you can interpret the same role many times. In cinema, you need to produce results every second. That is, every frame is like the last.”

Julia believes that you can achieve popularity by acting in good films: “And not what everyone around calls a star. What did the star do that made her called a star? Nobody will remember."

“You shouldn’t sacrifice your family and your children. This is the only thing that should not be sacrificed, but everything else can be sacrificed. You still can’t sacrifice something for profit. You can sacrifice your health, your time, your heart. An actor must sacrifice this, this is part of the profession, it is necessary for this organism to work. Just as a car needs to spend gasoline, so an actor needs to waste his nerves, his heart, his soul. It's simply necessary. And for the sake of the role? Don't know. I’ll probably sacrifice whatever they ask.”

About the nude scenes:

Many actresses are hesitant to act naked or use a body double in sex scenes. Julia is not embarrassed by such things: “Anyway, the viewer completely associates you with the heroine. What difference does it make whether the understudy is there or not? This does not mean that this should be in every film and every performance, but I, for example, am not afraid of it. This doesn't mean I will do this everywhere. I'll only do it where I'm sure it's not just for getting naked."

But the actress does not take photographs for magazines, although she has been offered this many, many times: “It’s one thing – a role, a character. I’m not Yulia Peresild on stage, I’m a character. I don’t undress for men to scroll through and enjoy. And I hope that the audience doesn’t come to see what kind of butt I have, for example. Not for this! There's a thought there. What's the point of stripping down for a men's magazine? Raise your popularity rating? I’m not interested in that at all because it’s very, very subjective.”

About Me:

“In principle, I have no illusions about the demand in the theater. I am self-critical. But I'm not a Samoyed. There is something that one adult, experienced artist once told me: “As soon as you stop liking yourself on stage, the audience immediately turns off from you.” This is a law of psychology. Therefore, self-criticism is an absolutely useless activity.

Yes, I am a critical person. But I'm a plowman. In general, in this profession it is very easy to turn into an artist in the bad sense of the word, when it seems to you that everything is born spontaneously, that it comes from somewhere. Of course, it’s impossible to play without inspiration, but Mikhail Chekhov has such a concept as actively listening to yourself: you don’t just wait for inspiration, but you develop it with your own work.

In general, I have somewhat high demands on myself and others. I do not tolerate negligence in business. I speak about this quite sharply, specifically and immediately. The people I told this to will probably not invite me next time. Well, good, I wouldn’t want to meet people for the second time who don’t care about the business that I love so much.

I am a great debater. People who worked with me know this. But it never seems to me that it reaches the point of tyranny. Of course, when I have my own point of view, I express it. If they explain to me why I am wrong, it is possible that I will agree. In this sense, I easily give up my beliefs. But this is a normal story. Everything is born in disputes.”

“I really love solitude. This is perhaps the only thing that gives me a chance for a break. It is important for me to be alone at least a little time. Anywhere, in any space."

“I am an absolute Pskovite. There are a lot of them there - blue eyes, blond hair. Once upon a time I had a long braid, below my butt, this is real Pskov. I love my hometown. When I lived there, I didn’t even feel how historical it really was, how beautiful it was.”

“All my hooliganism finds a way out in creativity. I can’t stand extreme sports in my life - no parachutes, no slides, no. But on set I never have doubles; I’ll do anything myself. This is a place where I can take risks and where I feel like I have the right to do so.”

“You may not believe it, but I myself am a very modest person. Sometimes I can’t say something... Even when I need to. This is probably a drawback, but it attracts very good people to me, conscientious, noble people who think about others. In five minutes of conversation, I understand what a person is like, whether there is something in him or not. I don’t care what he looks like, whether he’s fat or thin, handsome or not. If a person has charm – in conversation, in life – everything else fades into the background.”

“Women today lack weakness. I myself belong to the category of people who, in principle, can do everything themselves. I don’t know how to ask for help, I always blame everything on myself. And this is not the best quality, by the way. A woman must still be a woman. And you need to have great courage to take it and afford it.”

About beauty:

“Beauty standards today are tough, yes. Everyone wants to be tall, long-legged, young. It's boring - everything seems to come from the same incubator.

I know a lot of plump and beautiful women or, conversely, very thin and beautiful women, the question is what is organic for you. The same Natalya Gundareva, when she lost weight, lost some of her charm.

Everyone asks what I do with my face, how I take care of myself... Well, I wash my face in the morning. Is this a recipe? Of course, I can’t say that I’m such a natural village woman who goes out every morning to mow the grass in the sun and she has nothing, no wrinkles. I use some creams, some jars, most often pharmacy ones, but I don’t even pay attention to brands. When my friends ask me, I need to pick up this jar and see what I bought there on the run.

I never wear makeup in everyday life. Even if you put on makeup on your eyelashes, something doesn’t feel right, it’s uncomfortable, your eyes don’t open. How do you rub something on your face? It will still get smudged! Yes, I don’t like myself wearing makeup. For me, makeup is more associated with the theater, with roles, with photo shoots in magazines. Even in movies I like it when there is a minimum of makeup. In ordinary life I just want to be myself.”

About the dream:

“I dream of having my own recording studio and rehearsal room. I have a whole gang of talented musicians and artists. I would like to do some project with them. So the play “Poem” arose. I think I staged it, I don’t remember how. (Laughs.) It turned out that children really like him. When this happens, I'm happy. I want to do something like this again and again. In general, it seems to me that the main thing is to want. And I want a lot."

About relationships with men:

“If I fall in love with a person, it happens immediately. But often these loves lead nowhere. For different reasons, but always new. I believe that if this is the second half, then nothing needs to be done. Yours will not leave you. Fighting for roles and fighting for men is pointless.”

Husbands of Gurchenko

Arkady Novitsky appears in the plot when the movie star already had two failed marriages. The first - civilian - with director Ordynsky. The second – legal – with the screenwriter and the father of the only daughter of the screenwriter Andronikashvili.

After breaking up with her second husband, Gurchenko meets the adopted son of the writer Fadeev. She marries him. Then he leaves him. The reason for the divorce is the spouse's incessant drunkenness. After some time, she marries again. This time her chosen one is Vadim Orlov. This hero is the prototype of Joseph Kobzon. But the great actress does not get along with him either.

The latest episodes tell about the filming of some well-known films. For example, the films “Sibiriyada” and “The Beloved Woman of Mechanic Gavrilov.” Gurchenko quarrels with the directors, explains how the plot needs to be changed so that it becomes more truthful, tries to manage the film crew, and shouts at other actors. And somewhere in the background there is sad Konstantin Kuperweis. This is Lyudmila Markovna’s fifth husband.

But what role did Arkady Novitsky play in the heroine’s life? Who is he?

Arkady Novitsky and Gurchenko

Friend

“Lyudmila Gurchenko” is a biographical series. But there was some artistic invention here. The heroine’s whole life is a matter of mental torment caused by difficult relationships with men. Gurcheno is invariably surrounded by crowds of admirers. From time to time, she chooses from this many enthusiastic men one, as it seems to her, the most worthy. Each of the heroine’s men selflessly loves her, but at a certain stage of the relationship makes a mistake.

The heroine's husbands tend to meet from time to time and complain to each other about Lucy. Fadeev and Orlov do this especially often. They have a mutual friend - Arkady Novitsky. This person is always ready to listen, support, and help. But he is also in love with Lyudmila Gurchenko.

Personal life

Yulia Peresild is not married. In 2009, the actress gave birth to a daughter, Anna, and three years later she became a mother again - she had a second daughter, Maria.

And only in September 2020, Yulia admitted: “The father of my children is Alexey Uchitel... And, of course, Alexey is a good father who takes care of his daughters. I really hate talking about my personal life. Sometimes colleagues get married, get married and then put it all on the covers. And if these are people close to me, I think: “Ay, mommy! Why did you do this?

Also in 2017, there were rumors about Peresild’s affair with oligarch Roman Abramovich, who at that moment divorced Daria Zhukova. However, the actress herself called it gossip, and regarding her acquaintance with Abramovich, she noted that they had a long-standing friendship.

In her interviews, the artist often states that she tries to enjoy everything, is always happy to communicate with creative people, but prefers not to talk about her personal life: “I’ll tell you the worst thing - I don’t have one. I have a wonderful family: children, parents, but I don’t have a personal life in the sense that people probably perceive it.”

“After all, the more you are in demand, the more interesting you are, the more dirt there will be. But it’s another matter what kind of person you are, whether it sticks to you or not. Whether you react to it or not. I don't react to this. I read it, hear it, but don’t react,” explains Yulia.

Vysotsky

Arkady Novitsky - bard. At the first meeting, he invites the actress to Peredelkino, to the house of his friend Alexander Fadeev. And as soon as Lucy crosses the threshold, he begins to sing in Vysotsky’s voice. The actor playing the role of Novitsky certainly imitates Vladimir Semenovich. He does this poorly. But the scenes in which Novitsky sings and plays the guitar clearly indicate what the filmmakers had in mind for Vysotsky's character.

Novitsky and Gurchenko

What is known about the main character's friend? Arkady Novitsky, whose biography is revealed in the latest episodes, is in many ways reminiscent of Vysotsky. He has a wife, Marina. In films he is not given the roles he dreams of. There are, however, episodes that reject the version that this hero is the prototype of Vysotsky.

At the end of the film, Arkady Novitsky, a bard and friend of Gurchenko, flies to Israel. The events of the film cover a huge period of time: from the war years to the early eighties. Vladimir Vysotsky has never been to Israel. And he passed away in 1980. These are the differences between the biography of the famous bard and the life of the hero of the film.

Arkady Novitsky and Gurchenko are the heroes of the biographical film, who still have something in common. They meet one day. He is married. Lyudmila begins an affair with Alexander Fadeev. Novitsky takes care of Gurchenko: gives flowers, sings songs, declares his love. One day, half jokingly, he proposes marriage to Lucy. But she refuses. When Arkady finds out about the upcoming wedding of Fadeev and Gurchenko, he worries and suffers. But his own pain does not prevent him from listening to the emotional outpourings of his friends. And Alexander Fadeev and Vadim Orlov tell him about their love. Novitsky listens carefully. However, he always remains on Lucy's side.

According to the plot, in the life of Lyudmila Gurchenko there was a certain Arkady Novitsky - a devoted, faithful friend, always ready to help. He was secretly in love with the actress, but never dared to interfere in her personal life. He seemed to be watching from the sidelines, from time to time composing songs about Luce. The manner of vocal performance, Novitsky’s appearance and even the legendary Mercedes car - all this points to Vysotsky.

The famous singer and poet became the second person in Moscow to purchase a car of this model. The first was Brezhnev. Therefore, there is a lot of evidence that the screenwriter meant Vladimir Vysotsky by the image of Novitsky. But “Lyudmila Gurchenko” is a series based on the autobiographical books of the actress. And, according to these works, she was familiar with Vysotsky, but superficially.

Memoirs of Gurchenko

In one of the books, Lyudmila Markovna talks about her first meeting with Vysotsky. They met in 1962. Their first meeting took place in the apartment of a mutual friend. The author does not name him. Gurchenko heard a lot about Vysotsky. She had been waiting for this meeting for a long time, but when it took place, she was somewhat disappointed. But not for long. Exactly until the moment Vysotsky started singing.

He always sang. And it seemed that for him to remain silent meant to die. Gurchenko in his book discusses the life of Vladimir Vysotsky, but as an outside observer. She recalls how others perceived him. During the feast, Vysotsky was “torn apart” and asked to sing first one song or another. But there were also indifferent faces...

Gurchenko also recalls in his autobiographical work how rumors spread throughout Moscow about Vysotsky’s marriage to Marina Vladi. They said he had changed. Lyudmila Markovna once met him at the recording studio. He was with Marina. Remembering this couple, Gurchenko writes in his book: “If there is true love in the world, then this was it!”

From all that has been said, we can conclude: the image of Novitsky has nothing to do with Vysotsky. The filmmakers introduced this character into the plot in order to brighten it up. After all, Vysotsky is still popular today. The presence of such a personality will make any story more interesting.

Yulia Peresild plays the role of Lyudmila Gurchenko in the new film. Very few scenes have been filmed so far, although work has been going on for a whole year. Now the jazz band “SAM” is writing music for the film. Yulia Peresild also takes part in the jazz band as a vocalist. All songs in the film will be performed by Julia herself.

Yulia will sing in her own voice, without trying to imitate Lyudmila Gurchenko herself. The actress really wants songs performed by Gurchenko herself from time to time, but not from the lips of Yulia Peresild. The actress believes that if she sings in Gurchenko’s voice, then there will be an attempt to revive her. Offer the audience another Lyusya Gurchenko. But the filmmakers do not strive for this. About sixty wigs have already been prepared, but Julia does not strive to look like her heroine.

The film's script is based on three books by Gurchenko, “My Adult Childhood,” “Applause,” and “Lucy, Stop!” The plot of the film will completely coincide with the content of the books. And yet, Julia is already waiting for criticism of the new film; she anticipates such an amount of negativity that she has never received in her life. The actress says she understands what she is getting into by agreeing to play this role. Yulia read Lyudmila Gurchenko’s books, and she was greatly impressed by what was in the actress’s head and thoughts. She found it much more interesting than what happened to her in real life. Then Yulia Peresild really wanted to make a story about what Lyudmila Gurchenko had inside. The actress says that if she manages to get even a little closer to solving this problem, then it will be a success from the point of view of the actress.

The film crew is helped by Lyudmila Gurchenko’s last husband, Sergei Senin. Gurcheko’s daughter Maria also does not object to creating a picture about her mother. Yulia considers the history of Gurchenko’s relationship with her daughter very important. Julia really wants to show the extraordinary passion of the great actress, which reached the point of fanaticism.

A small piece from the filming of “Carnival Night” will be shown, what was left behind the scenes. Gurchenko's life in most cases is the story of filming. Love twists and turns will also be shown. Yulia Peresild fears that the film may not make it to the big screens at all.

According to the actress, now there is a rather difficult situation with financing; filming has been suspended for some time. The director of the film, Sergei Aldonin, is confident of success, because Yulia Peresild herself is very similar in character to Lyudmila Gurchenko. Julia herself says that she is ready for any criticism, because playing such an original actress is very difficult.
