Famous actresses who should not show their legs (02/13/2020)
And in those years, Andrei Myagkov’s personal life was also closed from prying eyes, so fellow students did not even imagine that he was having an affair with Voznesenskaya. Everything was revealed only after Anastasia became the wife of Andrei Myagkov.

This happened in the second year - Andrei Vasilyevich was then twenty-five years old, he was the oldest in the year, and his chosen one was twenty. The young family of aspiring actors was immediately given a room in a dormitory, and since then the couple have been inseparable either at home or at work - together they began their careers at Sovremennik, then moved to the Moscow Art Theater.

Later directors of the theater named after. Chekhov decided to play up this marital harmony by staging the play “The White Rabbit” for Myagkov and Voznesenskaya. Despite the fact that Andrei Myagkov’s acting career can be called more successful, fame came to Anastasia Valentinovna earlier, after she starred in one of the central roles in the television film “Major Whirlwind”, in which Myagkov can also be seen, but only in an episode , and Voznesenskaya asked the director about this.

Later, everything changed - Myagkov’s career rushed upward, deafening popularity fell upon him, and then Anastasia Valentinovna became a reliable support and support for her husband. The turning point in the actor’s career was the film “The Irony of Fate or, Enjoy Your Bath!”, which Myagkov himself does not treat very well.

“This film put an end to my career. Everyone considers me an alcoholic, although in reality I don’t like alcohol, and I just don’t see a bathhouse! I haven’t watched this film for 20 years. It’s violence against the viewer when it’s shown on New Year’s Eve,” says Andrei Vasilievich.

It so happened that the couple lived their whole lives for each other - Andrei Myagkov’s children were never born into their family, but the couple accepts life as it is.

Today, when asked why they don’t have children, Andrei Vasilievich and Anastasia Valentinovna answer that in their youth they devoted themselves entirely to work, and they had no time left for anything else.

“I didn’t have the chance to have my own precisely because of my profession. Your life somehow involuntarily fades into the background, you think less about it,” says the actor.

They did not have a chance to babysit their grandchildren, but since they are accustomed to their life, this, according to the actors, does not traumatize them.

The absence of Andrei Myagkov’s own children is compensated by communication with many of their students - students of the Moscow Art Theater School.

Cinema

Andrei Myagkov’s film debut began with the leading role in Elem Klimov’s tragicomedy “Adventures of a Dentist.” The young artist’s serious work was the role of Alyosha Karamazov in Ivan Pyryev’s film “The Brothers Karamazov”.

This was followed by leading roles in the films: “The Old House” (Alexander Ivanovich Herzen), “Silver Trumpets” (Arkady Gaidar), “Grandmaster” (chess player Sergei Khlebnikov), “Nadezhda” (Vladimir Ilyich Lenin), “An Unexpected Guest” (Vitaly Nikolaevich Nechaev).

In 1975, Ryazanov’s famous comedy “The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!” was released. Myagkov in the role of Zhenya Lukashin charmed the whole country with his performance, and the actor’s popularity was simply fantastic.

Another wonderful role of Andrei Myagkov from Eldar Ryazanov was Novoseltsev in “Office Romance”. Together with Alisa Freindlich they made a magnificent acting duet.

The artist’s filmography includes about 70 works, among which it is also worth noting: “Days of the Turbins”, “Garage”, “Vertical Racing”, “Cruel Romance”, “Afterword”, “Mother”, “Good weather on Deribasovskaya, or To Brighton” - Beach it’s raining again”, “Contract with death”, “The irony of fate. Continuation".

Childhood and youth

Andrei was born in the northern capital of Russia in 1938 into a family of prominent representatives of the Soviet intelligentsia. The boy's parents were teachers at the Leningrad Printing College. Father, Vasily Dmitrievich Myagkov (1908-1978), professor, worked at a technical school from 1935 to 1954, and from 1954 went to work at a technological institute. Mother, Zinaida Aleksandrovna (1813-1989), worked at the technical school as a mechanical engineer from 1946 to 1968. Andrey has a sister, whose name is Tatyana.

Together with his parents and sister, Andrei survived the siege of Leningrad in early childhood. In those hungry months, the boy was surprised why his mother and father constantly did not want to eat, not realizing that their parents were saving every morsel for their children. From 1942 to 1944 they were evacuated.

During his school years, Andrei was easily given exact sciences, for which he received excellent grades. In high school, the young man became interested in theater, in which he really enjoyed playing, and most often the main roles. Parents were skeptical about their son's hobby, considering these activities not worth attention. His father wanted Andrei to become a scientist in the future.

After graduating from school, the young man, on the advice of his father, entered the Chemical Technology Institute (today the St. Petersburg Institute of Technology). The parents wanted their son to get a serious profession, and then decide whether to follow the acting path or not.

Andrei did not like studying at the university; the only outlet was the student theater , where the young man enjoyed spending time taking part in various amateur performances.

During the summer holidays, he went on tour with the theater. During the production of “The Forest Song,” Andrei was noticed by members of the visiting admissions committee of the Moscow Art Theater School and suggested that the young man enroll in a theater university. Andrei did not accept the offer; first he graduated from university, received an engineering degree in 1961 and worked a little at the Institute of Plastics to please his father.

Feeling a great craving for acting and having received his father’s permission, he goes to Moscow and the first time he enters the Moscow Art Theater School in the workshop of the Honored Artist Vasily Petrovich Markov (1907-1997).

On the course, Andrei was the oldest student in age. His classmates were: Vera Alentova, Irina Miroshnichenko, Vladimir Menshov and others. In 1965, he successfully graduated from a theater university, becoming a qualified actor.

Andrei Myagkov's wife - Anastasia Voznesenskaya

Since childhood, Nastenka dreamed of acting in films. Immediately after school, she became a student at the Moscow Art Theater School, where she began to study together with Andrei Myagkov in the same course. The future spouses immediately felt mutual sympathy. Soon Andrei proposed to the girl, which she happily accepted. It was a student wedding. All the friends of the newlyweds were present.

Andrei Myagkov’s wife, Anastasia Voznesenskaya, began playing in plays and acting in films. The girl gained fame from filming “Major Whirlwind.” She played in many films.

In the difficult 90s, Anastasia left the theater. She couldn't find herself. The woman decided to provide reliable support for her husband. She began to cook delicious dishes for him.

Thanks to his wife, our hero wrote several novels; Anastasia’s features are visible in the female characters.

In 2013, Andrei Myagkov and Anastasia Voznesenskaya celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Movies

In 1973, Andrei Myagkov came to audition for the role of Nestor Petrovich in the lyrical comedy “Big Change”. The young actor’s resume already included serious dramatic film work. He embodied the image of Alyosha Karamazov in Ivan Pyryev’s film “The Brothers Karamazov”. But Myagkov was never accepted into “Big Change.”

Andrei Myagkov (still from the film “The Brothers Karamazov”)

In 1974, Eldar Ryazanov decided to make a comedy about a surgeon who mistakenly flies to Leningrad for the New Year and meets his love there. The play “Enjoy Your Bath!” The director, in collaboration with Emil Braginsky, wrote it back in 1968, and in many provincial theaters there was a real sell-out when watching the film. But Mosfilm did not accept her, considering her to be un-Sovietly rustic. But they accepted me into the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.

At first, Ryazanov saw Oleg Dal in the image of Zhenya Lukashin, but screen tests showed that Dal was not soft enough for Lukashin. We tried Andrei Mironov - it didn’t work either. Stanislav Lyubshin and Pyotr Velyaminov were also rejected.

The director was at a loss, but then his assistant, who had known Myagkov for a long time, suggested him for the role of Lukashin, especially since the actor fit the required type in terms of external parameters. With a height of 175 cm, his weight did not exceed 75 kg. Ryazanov had doubts, having in mind the serious dramatic role of the actor, but still agreed to try and was right.

Andrey Myagkov and Barbara Brylska (still from the film “The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath”)

They initially did not want to release “The Irony of Fate”, believing that the film promoted drunkenness and adultery, but then Brezhnev himself intervened. The Secretary General liked the film, and he personally gave permission to show it. In 1977, Ryazanov's New Year's comedy received the State Prize of the Soviet Union, and since then it has been shown in Russia on December 31 every year.

Ryazanov loved working with Myagkov so much that in 1977 he invited him to play the main role in “Office Romance,” which became no less popular than “The Irony of Fate,” and then offered to star in the comedy “Garage” and the drama “Cruel Romance.”

The popular actor played many roles, but nothing could overshadow the fame of Zhenya Lukashin and Anatoly Novoseltsev. For the role of Lukashin, Andrei Myagkov was awarded the USSR State Prize, and for the role of Novoseltsev - the State Prize of the RSFSR named after the Vasilyev brothers.

Andrey Myagkov as Novoseltsev (still from the film “Office Romance”)

Myagkov more than once suggested that Ryazanov direct a sequel to “The Irony of Fate” and even wrote his own script, but the director categorically refused. Then the actor came to the head of Channel One, Konstantin Ernst.

The quick-witted television producer liked Myagkov’s idea. This is how the painting “The Irony of Fate” appeared. Continuation”, directed by Timur Bekmambetov. True, practically nothing remained of the script written by Myagkov in the new film, but the actor still starred in the sequel to the main film of his life, but without much pleasure.

Since 1976, Andrei Myagkov has been an Honored Artist of the RSFSR, and since 1986, a People's Artist. In 2003, for his great services in the development of Russian art, the actor received the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, IV degree.

Andrey Myagkov and Rostislav Plyatt (still from the film “Afterword”)

Myagkov refused to be that artist of a rare happy performing destiny, who looked organically not only in comedies, but also in dramas and social films. Among the bright works of Andrei Vasilyevich are roles in the film by Marlen Khutsiev “Afterword”, in which he played together with Rostislav Plyatt, in the detective story “Vertical Races”, where his partners in the frame were Valentin Gaft and Galina Polskikh.

The peak of Myagkov's fame came in the 70s and 80s. But later, his filmography was replenished with a number of brilliant works. They turned out to be the role of “Uncle Misha” in Leonid Gaidai’s comedy “The Weather is Good on Deribasovskaya, or It’s Raining on Brighton Beach Again” and the image of an aging provincial actor in the film “Who Comes on a Winter Evening...”.

Since 2009, Andrei Myagkov stopped appearing on the big screen due to heart disease. The wife helped, who connected all the connections and acquaintances in order to send the actor for surgery in Germany. When Anastasia Valentinovna needed help, the artist left the stage to look after his wife. In 2017, the health of the Soviet screen star deteriorated again and required hospitalization.

Student years and work in the theater

I took a leave of absence from work and went to enroll in a university in the capital. He passed all the qualifying rounds without any obstacles and officially became a student at the Moscow Art Theater School, enrolling in Markov’s course. For the next few years, his mentors were the best teachers in Russia.

By the way, there Andrei Vasilyevich Myagkov met his future wife, who could possibly bear him children. We can say that the decision to enter this institution radically changed his biography.

In 1965, after receiving his diploma, he was accepted into Sovremennik.

His first work was the production of “Uncle's Dream”. The performance received applause, several more such successes and the young actor began to be trusted with more serious roles. He played in “At the Bottom”, “Balalaikin and K”, “Ordinary History”, etc.

Andrei Myagkov and his wife Anastasia Voznesenskaya in their youth

Andrei Vasilyevich worked in this theater for a very long time. After all, it was he who gave the man the opportunity to stand on the same stage with great artists. And several decades later, Dmitry Dyuzhev, Konstantin Khabensky and Irina Miroshnichenko were honored to work with Myagkov.

Theater audiences remember the actor well in the production “Duck Hunt”. Almost all stage works in which Myagkov was directly involved were a great success. His list of roles played is constantly growing.

Andrey Myagkov today

In 2020, on the occasion of the artist’s 80th birthday, the film “Andrei Myagkov. Measuring the Silence with Steps,” which told about many interesting facts from his biography.

This project stars famous actors, including Alisa Freundlich, Svetlana Nemolyaeva, Valentina Talyzina, Elizaveta Boyarskaya, Dmitry Brusnikin, Evgeniy Kamenkovich and others.

In recent years, the health of both spouses has left much to be desired, but husband and wife support each other in every possible way. It is worth noting that in 2009, Myagkov underwent 2 heart surgeries: his heart valves were replaced and a blood clot was removed from the carotid artery, and later he underwent stenting.

About personal...

Andrei Myagkov, biography, whose personal life has long been of interest to ordinary people, has been happily married for a long time. The first time he saw his future wife was while still a student. It was the beautiful Anastasia Voznesenskaya. They were both students of the Moscow Art Theater, both of them had ardent feelings, so they got married without waiting for their diplomas. Until now, for 54 years now, they have been together and never parted.

Nastya and Andrey played in Sovremennik, then moved to the stage of the Moscow Art Theater. Until recently, they appeared on stage in the same performance. It was often whispered behind the scenes that quite often Myagkov set directors the only condition: he would not act in a film if it did not contain at least a couple of minutes with the participation of his wife.

Film career

Myagkov’s film debut took place in 1965 with director Elen Klimov in the film “Adventures of a Dentist.” Andrei played the main role of the dentist Chesnokov, but the film's distribution was limited due to the fact that the censors thought it was a parody of Soviet reality. The film lay on the shelf for almost twenty years and only in 1987 was presented to a wide audience. It is this role that Myagkov calls one of his favorites.

In 1967, Andrei played Erast in Poor Liza.

And already in the next 1968, the famous Soviet director Ivan Pyryev invited the aspiring actor to his film “The Brothers Karamazov” - an adaptation of the great novel by F. M. Dostoevsky. Myagkov excellently played the main role of the younger brother. The task was the most difficult - to show the viewer the almost saintly, “not of this world” Alyosha. And Myagkov succeeded; in his playing one could feel at the same time dignity and simplicity, naturalness, positive charge and enormous inner conviction. He considers this work the best of his career. And the film was nominated for an Oscar in the category “Best Foreign Language Film” in 1969.

Myagkov’s talent was noted by directors; every year a film with his participation, or even several, was released on the screens of the country. Basically these were the roles of crystal positive characters:

  • Alexander Herzen in the film “The Old House”, dedicated to the life of the Russian writer and revolutionary (1969);
  • Arkady Gaidar in the film “Silver Trumpets”, which tells about the life of the writer (1971);
  • famous chess player Sergei Khlebnikov in the film “Grandmaster” (1972);
  • Captain Nechaev in “The Unexpected Guest” (1972);
  • young V.I. Lenin in the film “Nadezhda” (1973).

Myagkov became truly famous throughout the Soviet Union after working with director Eldar Ryazanov. The master of Soviet cinema was going to film “The Irony of Fate” and was looking for a comedian to play the main role. Andrey did not have such experience; all the roles and characters he played were, on the contrary, too serious and positive. But Ryazanov had an assistant, Nina Koreneva, who was friends with Myagkov and his wife. The woman knew Andrei well and was convinced that he was the most suitable candidate for the role of Zhenya Lukashin. Ryazanov decided to take a risk and at the very first screen test he realized that this was “hitting the bull’s eye.”

Myagkov coped with an extremely difficult task - he played a drunken man without self-control, and he did it naturally, likably and funny. It’s not difficult to play a drunkard who climbs into someone else’s bed and is rude to the hostess. But remaining funny and charming, and arousing the audience’s love, is a difficult task. The painting “The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath” made Myagkov a popular favorite. And the film itself has become an indispensable tradition of New Year celebrations in Russia. It’s amazing, but for more than forty years “The Irony of Fate” has been shown on TV on December 31, and more than one generation has been chopping the Olivier salad while listening to this film and preparing for the most magical New Year’s Eve.

“The Irony of Fate” was recognized as the best picture of 1976, and Andrei Myagkov as the best actor of the Soviet Union. For this work he was awarded the USSR State Prize. The film revealed to the audience a completely new Myagkov - comedic, musical and lyrical. The actor received an avalanche of letters from fans; one woman wrote to him for twenty years. But such fame did not turn Andrey’s head, neither his character nor his behavior changed, he did not turn up his nose, he did not feel like a star.

In 1976, a three-part film based on Mikhail Bulgakov’s novel “Days of the Turbins,” directed by Vladimir Basov, was released on the country’s screens. The main role, the intellectual and revolutionary Alexei Vasilyevich Turbin, was played by Andrei Myagkov.

And then there were again works with Eldar Ryazanov - the comedies “Office Romance” (1977) and “Garage” (1979). The director didn't even think about choosing an actor for the main characters.

In the role of the modest, shy, inconspicuous extra Novoseltsev for “Office Romance,” Eldar Aleksandrovich saw only Myagkov. And once again he was not mistaken; the actor perfectly conveyed on the screen the defenselessness, innate decency and nobility of his character. And again, according to a survey by the magazine “Soviet Screen”, the comedy “Office Romance” became the best film of 1978, and Andrei became the best actor of the USSR.

Myagkov also brilliantly played the destitute, voiceless fighter for justice Khvostov in the comedy “Garage.”

Of course, Ryazanov saw in Myagkov not only a comedian, so, without hesitation, he invited him to play the role of Karandyshev in his film “Cruel Romance”. During filming on the river, Andrei almost died. The boat in which he was sailing was pulled into a funnel formed by the cast-iron blades of the tug. Fortunately, the actor remained safe and sound, while the boat was crushed into small pieces. It was September 20, and since then Andrei Myagkov considers this date his second birthday.

In Myagkov’s creative biography there are still many diverse, stunningly played roles:

  • the school director in the film “4:0 in favor of Tanechka”;
  • MUR inspector in “Vertical Racing”;
  • Head of the department of the Bekasov Research Institute in “Lethargy”;
  • Shvyrkov in the “Afterword”;
  • Uncle Misha in the comedy “The weather is good on Deribasovskaya, it’s raining again on Brighton Beach”;
  • Paul Landmeier in "Autumn Temptations";
  • surgeon Ignatovsky in “Contract with Death”;
  • Tsar in “The Tale of Fedot the Archer.”

One of Andrei Vasilyevich’s last film roles was the same Evgeny Lukashin in the sequel to Ryazanov’s comedy “The Irony of Fate. Continuation". The film was directed by Timur Bekmambetov. In 2008, the film became the highest-grossing film in Russia and the CIS countries.

For his creative achievements, Andrei Vasilyevich was awarded the Order of Honor (1998), the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, IV degree (2003), and the Order of Friendship (2013).

Personal life

Andrey Myagkov is an exemplary family man. He married his wife, actress Anastasia Voznesenskaya, back in 1963. The actor admits that he fell in love with Nastya at first sight.

Together the couple worked at Sovremennik and at the Moscow Art Theater. According to Myagkov, he wrote 3 detective novels especially for his wife. One of them, “Grey Gelding,” was adapted into a television series. In his free time from work, Andrei Myagkov paints pictures.

Andrey Myagkov with his wife

During the years of their married life, Andrei and Anastasia never had children. The woman claims that at one time she and her husband were so busy with work that they simply did not have time to raise children.

Myagkov, like his wife, prefers to spend time at home, avoiding public events. He also hardly communicates with journalists and rarely attends television programs.

After "Irony..."

Since 1977, when Myagkov was already everyone’s favorite Lukashin, he was invited to the Moscow Art Theater. Gorky (now it is the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater). Andrei Vasilyevich served there for many years, appearing on stage with Irina Miroshnichenko, Konstantin Khabensky, Dmitry Dyuzhev.

Capital theatergoers remember Myagkov in Moscow Art Theater productions - he was Repetilov in “Woe from Wit”, Zilov in “Duck Hunt”, Aladin in “Mother-of-Pearl Zinaida”. There were many more strong performances, but the brightest were in performances based on the works of Anton Chekhov. A little later, Andrei Vasilievich Myagkov, whose biography combines many theater and film works, receives two significant acting awards - the Stanislavsky Prize and the Baltic House Festival Prize.

Years later, in 2004, for the best acting duet in the production of “Bourgeois” (the actor played with Alla Pokrovskaya), he was awarded the prestigious theater prize “The Seagull”.

It was within the walls of the Moscow Art Theater that Andrei Vasilyevich managed to realize himself as a director, staging several of his performances on this stage. In recent years, the actor beloved by millions has appeared on stage as Elwood in The White Rabbit.

Theater life

Almost immediately, the aspiring actor Andrei Myagkov (biography, children, creative plans - all this never ceases to interest ordinary people) takes the stage in the title role. His character was Uncle from the play “Uncle's Dream” by Dostoevsky. The audience was delighted with the talent of the young man. One day this performance was seen by Elem Klimov, who was so impressed by Myagkov’s performance that he immediately invited him to play in his film “Adventures of a Dentist” in the role of Sergei Chesnokov. So Andrei Vasilyevich experienced two debuts almost simultaneously - on the theater stage and in cinema.

Since his first works in cinema had not yet brought him fame, he continued to appear on the stage of Sovremennik in the images of Rededyu (Balalaikin and K), Baron (At the Lower Depths) and others. He had many interesting roles at that time.

But one day everything changed dramatically.
