Childhood of Andrei Fedortsov

Andrey was born in Leningrad.
His parents are people far from acting and cinema. With his younger sister, Andrei often acted out home performances and concerts, although he liked more the process of preparation, the design of programs and tickets. He always had a warm relationship with his sister, even when they were just children. My father worked as an engineer, and my mother was a general practitioner. An interesting story happened to Andrei when he and his parents were vacationing in the south. One day an employee of Lenfilm approached them and suggested that his mother cast little Andrei in a movie. Mom didn’t agree then, although Andrei’s film debut could have taken place even then.

Fedortsov never had complexes for any reason. During his school years, he was involved in wrestling, so anyone who laughed at his protruding ears immediately got it from Andrei so much that he didn’t want to laugh anymore. When he grew up, already in high school it turned out that his height was only one meter and sixty centimeters. But this didn’t bother him at all. He always believed that it was not a matter of height, the main thing was to be a man.

There was never a dictatorship in the family; if children were punished, it was only for work. However, there was no talk of any assault.

Andrey's patronymic is Albertovich, although it could have been Olegovich. His father's childhood was during wartime. Andrei’s grandfather went to the front, and their village was occupied. A German named Albert was placed in the house, like many others. Before the start of the punitive operation, he helped the family escape from the village, thereby saving their lives. After this incident, Andrei's father, whose name was Oleg, was renamed, giving him the name Albert.

In those days, it was not easy to buy or get some things. Many of Andrey’s peers dreamed of going abroad to see the world and, well, buy something. Andrey was no exception. For the opportunity to see different countries, he entered the naval school and graduated with excellent marks, since only with such marks could he be taken on foreign voyages. Andrey saw many European countries and went on a cargo ship.

The young man had no desire not to join the army. When he was called, he went to pay his debt to his homeland. Andrey served in a mine demolition platoon. He went into the reserve as a senior sergeant and platoon commander. During his service, he once had to replace a soldier who was participating in an amateur performance. The debut was successful. His colleagues roared with laughter, and Andrei liked it. Since then, he has become a frequent participant in soldier performances.

Returning to civilian life, Fedortsov managed to work at the Leningrad rock club as an advertising administrator, building maintenance worker, and at the Maly Drama Theater as a stage driver.

Fedortsov played in children's plays, becoming a lover of children.
The place of work was the Akimov Academic Theater. His roles there are the Scarecrow and the Little Humpbacked Horse. The aspiring actor also acted in films, although all the roles were exclusively episodic. Since he had to earn a living, he decided to go into business. His company sold pet products. Chance helped Fedortsov return to cinema. Alexey Balabanov invited him to his film “Brother”, where Andrey got the role of a hostage. It would seem that he only played an episode, but the actor attracted attention. For Andrei’s frightened face in the frame, he was awarded the “Audience Award” at the Cannes festival.

Andrey Fedortsov in the series “Deadly Force”

There were no roles for a long time, Andrei went to Lenfilm with the same question and was already pretty tired of everyone there, until one day he received a call. Actor Andrei Fedortsov has never officially married

Fedortsov loves fishing. Due to his profession, he often wants to sit alone in silence, although he was a fishing enthusiast as a child. Andrey believes that every person should take breaks from work, going to the forest, to the river, or somewhere in nature.

It is there that fresh thoughts come to his mind, there he sees himself from the outside, and can assess whether he is moving in the right direction. He is especially impressed by fishing in the Maldives, where there is clear water, incredible depth and ocean fish. If it is not possible to go fishing, the actor enjoys relaxing at home. He arranged the apartment in such a way that he could stay there indefinitely. Everything in the apartment was thought out by the owner himself, everything is convenient, and most importantly, very cozy. Guests who come to Andrey do not want to leave. Fedortsov dreams that one day he will be able to buy a large country house.

The actor has never been officially married. As he himself says, he doesn’t intend to. He has a son Misha. Andrei lived with Misha’s mother in a civil marriage. After the birth of their son, they separated. Fedortsov explains this by saying that he could not live with a woman whom he no longer loves even for the sake of the child. He communicates with his son. This usually happens on weekends.
