As part of the trio (Denis Dudinsky, Olga Ryzhikova and Leonid Shirin), the vocalist performed until 2020. Then Olga began a solo career, and Katerina Raetskaya took her place.

Since 2009, the artist has been a permanent presenter of the international competition “Slavic Bazaar”, and since 2011 Ryzhikova has been working on the TV channel “Belarus 1” - hosting the morning show “Good morning, Belarus!”. - Everything is very simple. I came from the army and returned to someone else’s institute group (former classmates were two years ahead of me), and my future wife studied in this group. We got married six years later. Everything developed very gradually: we studied together, went for walks, went to the movies and cafes, every evening I accompanied her home. Nothing too special. He didn’t jump from a bridge, he didn’t climb to the fourth floor with the help of “cats,” but he often gave flowers, although it was not easy to get them then. By the way, the arrival of the market was felt precisely from the moment when flowers ceased to be in short supply.

— Natasha and I have a birthday on September 2. When she was born, I was already working in Moscow, but at that time there were parliamentary holidays, and I lived in Barnaul for two whole months. — I like Chinese food, but I love and usually eat dumplings, manti or pancakes. Galya and I return late, so my mother cooks; she lives with us. But I can cook anything myself, I especially love baking pancakes.

— From my trips I always bring small ceramic houses. There are houses from Mexico, America, Belgium, Sweden, the last one was brought from Spain. Why houses? They convey the spirit of the country, its style. And I love ceramics, it is a special material, it transmits the warmth of human hands. Even in my office, I have handmade ceramic plates from Barnaul hanging on the wall.

And now I’m doing a surprisingly interesting thing. I discovered that the German opera singer Rita Streich, very famous in the 50s and 60s, was born in my native Barnaul in 1920. Her dad Bruno was captured during the First World War and taken to Barnaul, where he met a Russian woman, Anfia Alekseeva. He was 19 years old, she was 17. In 1921 they left for Germany, Rita became a superstar: concerts at La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera, the Berlin Opera, and New York. She lived on a super expensive street and drove around in an open-top Mercedes. But at the same time, in interviews she always said that her roots are in Siberia. I collect her CDs, vinyl records, interviews in old Western newspapers, all archival documents all over the world. A lot of information has been collected, but I don’t yet know what happened to her Russian mother, who lived to be almost 100 years old. I'm about to meet Rita's son, and I hope he will tell you a lot of interesting things.
