Childhood and family
The artist’s father worked at an aircraft factory, and her mother worked at the Ministry of Education.
When Natalya was only five years old, she saw the ballet “The Sleeping Beauty” for the first time. He charmed her so much that the girl tried to dance the parts at home and imagined herself as a ballerina. And at the age of 8, Andreichenko staged a ballet at her school, and she herself became a choreographer and director. In third grade, the future actress went to music school and learned to play the accordion.
In parallel with all her hobbies, Natasha was involved in swimming. But she didn’t plan to connect her life with sports, fearing that her figure might lose its grace. But in high school, Andreichenko began to read a lot and was going to enter the philological faculty of Moscow State University. A year before graduating from school, the girl changed her mind and decided to become an actress.
Chasing a childhood dream
During her school years, in addition to regular lessons, Natasha also went to a music school, where she learned to play the accordion. I went in for swimming in the sports section. The dream of becoming an actress did not leave the girl until her senior year. But when the time came to make a life choice, the parents insisted that their daughter go to study as a philologist at Moscow State University.
Having received a certificate of secondary education, Natalya again remembered her dream and took the documents to Shchepkinka. Since I did not prepare for the entrance exams, I did not pass the competitive selection.
At VGIK, where she also auditioned, the commission was not so picky, and Andreichenko found herself on the course of Irina Skobtseva and Sergei Bondarchuk. Having received an acting diploma, Natalya worked a lot on the theater stage in the Vasiliev and Tabakov theaters. She has participated in the following productions:
- "Sargo";
- "A wonderful cure for love";
- "Faith, Love, Hope."
In 1996, the actress recorded an album with her vocals. She was the host of the television programs “Let’s Go” and “Mother in Law”, and sat in the chair of a jury member of the project “Ukraine Doesn’t Believe in Tears.”
Actor career
Natalya Andreichenko did not enter the theater the first time.
At first she tried her luck at the Shchepkin School, but she was unsuccessful; then, in 1973, the girl entered VGIK. Here she took a course in the workshop of Sergei Bondarchuk and Irina Skobtseva. The first role went to the aspiring actress in her second year. She played in the film “From Dawn to Dawn.” Natalya Andreichenko graduated from VGIK in 1977. By this time she already had five roles in her treasury. The most interesting are the role of Tanyusha in “Stepan’s Memo” and a small episode in “The Steppe”.
Great fame in narrow circles came to Andreichenko in 1978 after she played the beautiful Siberian Nastya Solomina in Andrei Konchalovsky’s “Sibiriyada”. By the way, Andreichenko herself considers this role one of the best in her biography. The film earned the Special Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. After working on Sibiriada, Natalya Andreichenko was included in the list of the Soviet delegation abroad. At that time this was tantamount to a high reward.

For the next five years, the actress starred only in average films, for example, “When you leave, go away,” “They don’t change horses at the crossing,” “Inspector Losev.” However, Natalya was also memorable in episodic roles. Directors valued the artist’s “feeling for cinema,” that is, a special ability to sense the necessary level of expression of feelings, so to speak, cinemagenicity.
One day in 1983, Natalya woke up popular. Two films with her participation were released at once: “War Romance” directed by Pyotr Todorovsky and “Mary Poppins, Goodbye” directed by “Leonid Kvinikhidze”.
The actress appeared before the Soviet audience in an unusual form - a polished European lady. The fairy tale about the sorceress Mary Poppins was filmed in the best traditions of the Soviet musical. Andreichenko played the main role. At the same time, she showed not only her artistic abilities, but musical and even choreographic ones. And the actress sang songs to the music of her husband Maxim Dunaevsky in the voice of Natalya Vetlitskaya.
The pinnacle of Andreichenko’s career was the role of Lyuba in Pyotr Todorovsky’s “Field Romance.” The woman who went through all the sorrows of war and achieved simple human happiness is played brilliantly.
And in 1984, Natalya received a prize for best performance of a female role at the International Festival in Valladolid, Spain.

Photo by Natalia Andreichenko in Maxim magazine
In Soviet times, explicit photos were an absolutely indecent thing; magazines did not print them, and there was no Internet to see movie stars in all their glory. Artists of the past generation never starred in erotic photo shoots, the only place where it was possible to see actors in negligee was film scenes, so you are unlikely to ever see a photo of Natalia Andreichenko in Maxim or Playboy magazine.
The old-school actress appeared naked on camera only once – in the film “Quiet Don”. The film was released in 2006, but filming took place back in 1994. Today on the Internet you can see photos of Andreichenko in a swimsuit from her life in Mexico.
