Childhood and youth
Olga Fadeeva was born in October 1978. Her parents graduated from a choreographic school, then worked for many years in the State Dance Ensemble. As a child, Olga dreamed of dancing in ballet. The girl and her mother came to all the ballet performances that took place in the city. However, Fadeeva failed to become a ballerina. At the choreographic school, the girl was told that she “had the wrong build and the wrong step.”

Actress Olga Fadeeva
Soon Fadeeva decided to enter the theater lyceum. There she received a diploma of secondary education, after which she continued her studies at the Belarusian Academy of Arts.
While a student at the academy, Olga accepted an offer to star in Alexander Malinin’s video for the song “We Must Live.” This was followed by filming in several other videos, including one for a song by Igor Demarin. According to the artist, thanks to the work of make-up artists, she was able to recreate on the screen a believable image of the American film star Marilyn Monroe.

Failed ballerina
Olga Fadeeva’s parents were ballet dancers, so it is not surprising that the girl was “infected” with this art from an early age. She was determined to become a famous ballerina - no more, no less. Imagine her disappointment when she was not accepted into the choreographic school! Olga admits that it even gave her a fever. After grieving, the girl decided to enter the theater lyceum. Well, we may have lost a ballerina in her, but we gained a wonderful actress...
Belarusian Academy of Arts
In the mid-90s, Olga Fadeeva entered the Belarusian Academy of Arts. As a student, she starred in the video clips of Alexander Malinin “We must live” and Igor Dimarin “Marilyn Monroe”, which were shot by the fashionable Belarusian director Vladimir Yankovsky.
At the same time, her debut on the theater stage took place. Director Boris Lutsenko invited Olga to play the main female role - the role of Ophelia in the Gorky Theater play "Hamlet". Olga Fadeeva admits that for a long time she was perceived exclusively as a blue heroine, a fairy-tale princess. The actress herself believed that she was much closer to brightly characteristic and dramatic images in which she could convey a “storm of passions.”
Olga did not escape the fate of many young students who often fall in love and get married early. There was also a bright love and marriage in her life, which turned out to be very short-lived...
Theater named after Yanka Kupala
In 1999, the chief director of the National Academic Theater. Yanka Kupala Valeria Raevsky invited six graduates of the Academy of Arts to join his troupe. Among them was Olga Fadeeva. She admits: “Immediately I got the impression that we were truly welcome there. They were very well received by the troupe. And, one might say, roles rained down on me.” Olga speaks with great gratitude about the honored artists Zoya Belokhvostik, Nikolai Kirichenko and other wonderful theater actors, thanks to whom she improved her skills.
Cinema is the path to recognition
Olga Fadeeva’s first film work was the episodic role of a teacher in Margarita Kasymova’s film “Zorka Venus,” which was released in 2000. The first experience in television films soon followed. In the comedy television series "Accelerated Help" she played intern Masha. As Olga says, her work was easy, fun and relaxed. A year later, she starred in the episodic role of a conductor in the film “The Law” and in the role of Valentina Kuznetsova in the film “Hotel “Fulfillment of Desires.”
Nevertheless, for Minsk residents Olga Fadeeva remained, first of all, a theater actress. And in Russia practically no one knew about it at all. Everything changed in 2004...
At that time, director Sergei Orlanov and the screenwriters of “Accelerated Assistance” began work on the new television series “Soldiers”. Olga was invited to Moscow for a casting, which took place at the Gorky Film Studio. The actress recalls: “...the casting was huge. I was terribly tense during the auditions. Therefore, I returned to Minsk in full confidence that I had not passed - there are so many artists in Moscow, why should they choose me? And then once - and everything worked out.”
Olga Fadeeva was approved for the main female role - sergeant of the medical service Irina Pyleeva. It was a real lucky ticket. The series was a huge success and brought enormous popularity to the actors who played in it. The main characters were especially loved by the audience: private Medvedev (Alexander Lymarev), Irina Pyleeva and warrant officer Shmatko (Alexei Maklakov).
Ironically, Olga Fadeeva developed her best relationship on the set with Roman Madyanov, who played the role of her main enemy, Major Kolobkov, in the series. She notes Madyanov as an amazing actor and person, and admits that she felt her role largely thanks to his support.
In 2005, the creators of the series “Soldiers” launched a new series “Tourists”, where Fadeeva starred in the role of Olga, a hotel manager. But this project, despite the abundance of excellent artists from the Moscow Art Theater, Mayakovka and Ermolovsky Theater, turned out to be less successful than Soldiers.
Nevertheless, directors have already paid attention to Olga Fadeeva, and offers have appeared. In the series “Adjutants of Love” she played the serf actress Akulina, in the film “Father’s House” she played the main role - Inna, the wife of Anatoly Buslov...
In 2006, the authors of “Soldiers” decided to return the much-loved characters to the series. Alexander Lymarev, Roman Madyanov and Olga Fadeeva again starred in “Soldiers-6”. The involvement of old heroes brought back interest in the series that had begun to fade.
Olga Fadeeva continues to work in the theater. Among her works: the role of Isa - a court intriguer - in the play “Yvonne - Princess of Burgundy”, the role of Karin in “Eric XIV” by Strindberg, the role of Anna Grigorievna in Gogol’s “Dead Souls”.

Olga Fadeeva on the set
Later, the actress played leading roles in the action movie “Invincible” and the serial drama “Gypsies.” This was followed by a role in the film “The Widow's Ship.” The action of the film begins with the outbreak of war, which destroys the family life of Anfisa, the heroine of Olga Fadeeva.
In the military drama “Narkomovsky Convoy”, the actress played Tamara Simovich. Fadeeva recalls that it was the first time she worked on a film set with horses. According to Olga, one horse named Rokot, at the command of the trainer, was supposed to pretend to die, but, falling to the ground, each time he began to chew grass. This behavior of the animal amused the entire film crew, despite the spoiled takes.
