BIOGRAPHY
Tatyana Tashkova was born in Volgograd, into a simple Soviet family.
My father worked at a factory, my mother worked at a Fabric store. According to the actress, she and her sister grew up in love, their parents lived together all their lives and almost never fought. “We had a prosperous family, but I was able to truly appreciate this only when I became an adult. When I was little, it seemed to me that everyone lived like this, but I was surprised to learn that not everyone is so good and prosperous,” says Tatyana.
As a girl, Tanya grew up active, went to all the clubs there were: singing, drawing, gymnastics, volleyball, international friendship club. She was seriously involved in athletics. Finally, she found herself in a theater studio, and the stage truly captivated her.
After graduating from school, Tanya announced that she wanted to become an actress. The parents were alarmed by their daughter’s choice, but they still let her go to Moscow. And admission to the Theater School named after. B. Shchukin was already celebrated throughout the street.
Tatyana's best childhood
Tatyana Tashkova, who in her youth bore her maiden name “Vasilieva,” was born in the famous city of Volgograd, and lived in a small village called Dar Gore. The girl’s family was the simplest, her father worked a lot at a factory, and her mother got a job in a store as a simple saleswoman, but as Tatyana notes, the family was still different from others, because the mother and father were very happy in their marriage. As the actress says, the parents did not quarrel at all, and if there were quarrels, they never washed dirty linen in public, and did not show it to their daughter.
Young Tatyana Tashkova
The girl recalls that her mother had excellent culinary skills, and in general the woman really loved to cook something tasty and unusual to please her daughter and husband. Father could fix and do almost anything, which is why many neighbors and yard boys turned only to him for help.
When Tatyana speaks from her childhood, she can only remember the happiest moments, the woman says that her mother’s weekends remained especially favorite, she baked pies and treated all the children from the street.
Biography, personal life and family of Tatyana Tashkova (photo) at that time was more than happy, because the girl was very loved by her family and had great success at school.
Although Tatyana studied at a simple school, she had quite good success, and was always in the center of attention and loved communication, probably for this reason the girl was often elected to chair the commission and to various squads.
Tatyana Tashkova in her youth
At such a young age, Tatyana loved communication and always remained in the company of her classmates. In the summer, the parents sent their daughter to a summer pioneer camp, where she could relax for three shifts in a row, but if she couldn’t get into the camp, then Tatyana went to visit her grandparents. The woman also speaks very warmly about her grandfather; he always devoted a lot of time to his granddaughter, as Tatyana says: “One day he even took me to work as a shepherd’s assistant, it was very exciting for my young years.” Today, the biography, personal life and family of Tatyana Tashkova in the photo often appear on the Internet, but it is quite difficult to find photographs of the parents.
MOVIE
Tatyana Tashkova began acting in her student years (then under the name Vasiliev). Her first films were “Only the Two of You”, “Simply Sasha”, “Duel in the Taiga”. And the main role in the film “French Lessons” based on the story by Valentin Rasputin brought him fame.
Tatyana recalls: “Then I found out that they couldn’t find an actress for the main role for a long time. Zhenya Simonova auditioned, and they offered Irina Muravyova. Cameraman Volodya Nakhabtsev wanted to film Liya Akhedzhakova. But the director, apparently, was not happy with something about these wonderful actresses. Then the acting assistant brought my photograph from the Mosfilm file and said almost with annoyance: “There’s another Vasilyeva. If you want, try it...” The auditions were unsuccessful, but the director still chose Tatiana, and he was not mistaken.
Then there were works in the films “Son of a Champion”, “Wedding Day will have to be clarified”, “Young Russia”, “Anxious Sunday”, “Teenager” and others.
In the 1990s, Tatyana Aleksandrovna acted little, due to offers to play in then popular films about bandits. “When perestroika began, there were several offers to play a role, for example, lesbians... I don’t idealize everything related to the profession... I just want to participate in some things, but not in others. If I have to play a prostitute or a lesbian, then I don't want to take part in this process. This is probably not professional, but for me it is important,” says the actress.
Many thought that Tashkova had left the profession forever. But in 2004, the actress returned to cinema. She starred in the films “Life is a Hunting Field”, “Just Come Back!”, “Wings of an Angel”, the TV series “Viola Tarakanova”, “Volkov’s Hour”, “Veronica. Lost Happiness", "My Father's Son".
A special place in his work is occupied by the painting “Three Women of Dostoevsky,” on which the entire Tashkov family worked. In total, the actress’s filmography includes more than 80 works.
Childhood and youth
Tatyana was born in Stalingrad on August 24, 1956. The family was far from creative: the father worked in a factory, the mother in a store. The parents in the area were considered a happy and strong couple; in addition to Tatyana, the marriage also produced a daughter, Svetlana. As children, the sisters often visited their grandparents in the village.
At school, the future actress was fond of sports - athletics and basketball. But even then Tatyana understood that she was dreaming of the stage, and in high school she enrolled in a drama club. Before the final exams, the girl herself obtained the addresses of the admissions committees of theater educational institutions in the capital and sent out letters with questions about admission.
The answer came from the Shchukin School: the conditions and dates of the exams were listed on a small piece of paper. Mom let Tanya go with the confidence that her daughter would return in a couple of days. But Tatyana passed the tests the first time and in 1977 became a professional actress, graduating from the Theater School. B.V. Shchukina.
THEATER
Unlike cinema, work in the theater did not work out for the actress at first. After college, Tatyana received an assignment to Magadan, but refused to go there. She was already actively filming, received many offers and hoped to get into one of the Moscow theaters.
As a result, from 1983 to 1992, Tatyana Tashkova was an actress at the Film Actor Studio Theatre. She played in the plays “Long live the ladies!”, “I demand trial!”, “Truffaldino from Bergamo”, “Cinderella”, “The Seagull” and others. Then she worked in the Moscow drama troupe “Wandering Stars”, the Central House of Actors named after. A. A. Yablochkina and the Moscow Theater named after. R. N. Simonova.
Since 2006, Tatyana Alexandrovna has again been a member of the troupe of the Film Actor Theater.
Tashkova, Tatyana Aleksandrovna - what is it
Tatyana Vasilyeva was born in 1956 in Stalingrad (now Volgograd). Father Alexander worked as a foreman at a factory, mother Maria worked as a salesperson in the Fabric store, and her older sister’s name was Svetlana[4]. Tatyana often lived in the village with her grandparents[5]. At school, Tatyana was actively involved in athletics and basketball[6].
Soviet film actressEdit
After graduating from school, Tashkova entered the Higher Theater School named after B.V. Shchukin (workshop of A.I. Borisov)[7], which she completed in 1977. In 1975, while a student, she made her debut in a cameo role in Edmond Keosayan's film When September Comes, playing a member of a vocal quartet[8]. Tatyana Aleksandrovna played her first leading role in the film “Only Two,” which was released in 1976. The film told the story of a young family who went to work in the Siberian province[6]. In the credits of her first films, Tatyana Alexandrovna appeared under the name of her first husband, Alexei Shurshikov. The first marriage was short-lived: the husband, an aspiring diplomat, a graduate of MGIMO, wanted to take his wife on a long business trip abroad, which required giving up her career as a film actress. Despite her parents' disapproval, Tatyana abandoned marriage in favor of cinema. Starting with the film “Duel in the Taiga,” released in 1977, the actress appears under her maiden name Vasilyeva[9].
His youthful passion for sports had a noticeable impact on the initial stage of his film career. In preparation for filming the film “Son of a Champion,” Tatyana Alexandrovna mastered alpine skiing and trained with the best athletes of the USSR. In the film “Landing on Oringa,” Tashkova’s heroine crosses the snow-covered taiga on skis. On the set of the Soviet-Japanese film “The Path to Medals,” Tashkova came on as a substitute in the USSR-Japan volleyball match[6].
Tatyana Aleksandrovna met her second husband, director Evgeny Ivanovich Tashkov, during the filming of the film “French Lessons”. The wedding took place in 1980[9]. The large age difference (thirty years) alarmed the parents, but subsequently they developed a good relationship[8]. The role of French teacher Lydia Mikhailovna Tereshkova turned out to be one of the highest achievements in Tatyana Alexandrovna’s film career[10]. Despite the fact that the filming of the episodes with Tashkova’s participation lasted about three months, in the end she received 320 rubles - this was due to the fact that the performer of the main female role received the lowest rate of 13 rubles per day[11].
Soon after the wedding, a daughter was born into the Tashkov family, who died in the maternity hospital due to a medical error[9]. In 1983, his son Alexey was born, who connected his life with art[12].
In 1984, in an interview with the Soviet Screen magazine, Tatyana Aleksandrovna said:
I believe that an actor should act a lot, and I don’t refuse even the smallest roles,” says Tatyana Tashkova. — I had a lot of unsuccessful jobs. Sometimes you watch a finished film on the screen and get upset - you spent so much effort, and it was all in vain: there is no real, living person. But, probably, failures also teach you something - this is how experience accumulates.
— [6]
Work on the Soviet theater stage turned out to be not as noticeable as in cinema: from 1983 to 1992, Tatyana Aleksandrovna served as an actress at the Film Actor's Studio Theater. During this period of her activity, she participated in the productions “Long live the ladies!”, “I demand trial!”, “Truffaldino from Bergamo”, “Cinderella”, “The Seagull” and others[12].
Transition periodEdit
Due to a sharp drop in wages at the Film Actor Theater in 1991, Tashkova had to look for other areas of activity. The first job not related to acting was preparing lunches for employees of a small commercial company[13].
Since 1992, she has been engaged in entrepreneurial activities. She graduated from a banking school specializing in securities trading and worked in a bank. It was while working at the bank that it became known that Tatyana Aleksandrovna had been awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation[9]. In the American one she worked as a project manager[14]. She headed a private television company and made three documentaries about Karelia. She played in an enterprise (since 1994 - an artist of the Moscow drama troupe "Wandering Stars"), did dubbing, and voiced cartoons. In the late 1990s, Tatyana Aleksandrovna starred in an advertisement for Ace bleach in the image of Aunt Asya[15]. Her last job outside the profession of a film actress was the position of deputy director at the Dzhigarkhanyan Theater[11].
Aunt AsyaEdit
Over the course of three years, 15 commercials were shot for Procter & Gamble advertising English bleach. Ace[16]. The advertising campaign, which began in December 1996, was built in the form of a series, which became a new phenomenon in the Russian advertising industry[17]. Tatyana Tashkova passed four qualifying rounds, in which 350 candidates were eliminated[15]. The videos were a copy of an advertisement for the Romanian market. Initially, the main character of the videos was called Julia, but after watching the Romanian and Turkish videos, the name Asya was chosen. According to Procter & Gamble brand manager Denis Michalsky, it was the choice of a name that was consonant with the name of the advertised product that had an important impact on the success of commercials. Filming took place in Russia and Poland[16]. According to the terms of the contract, from 1996 to 2000, the actress was limited in her choice of roles[15]. The appearance of Tatyana Alexandrovna on television in the image of Aunt Asya brought her enormous popularity, surpassing the popularity of the Soviet film actress. Tashkova was recognized on the street, letters were written to her, her character was parodied in KVN[18]. To reduce public pressure, Tashkova had to dye her hair brunette[19]. The image of the heroine, formed by Tatyana Tashkova, turned out to be so effective that many companies began to build their advertising strategy, starting from the image of Aunt Asya, developing or refuting it[20]. The starting phrase heard in the first video is “Aunt Asya has arrived!” has become “winged” - it can be found in articles and videos, often far from the original topic[17].
Russian film actressEdit
In 2004, Tatyana Tashkova returned to television screens and subsequently began actively acting in films. The first were episodic roles in the television series “Silver Lily of the Valley - 2” and “Viola Tarakanova. In the world of criminal passions - 1.” Subsequently, she began to be invited to larger roles[9]. In 2006, Tatyana Alexandrovna again began working at the Film Actor Theater[12].
In 2012, Evgeny Tashkov died, who shortly before his death managed to shoot his last film, “Three Women of Dostoevsky.” In it, Tatyana Alexandrovna played one of the main roles.
Tashkova is an associate professor at the Institute of Theater Arts in Moscow[4]. In addition to acting and teaching, he organizes events for large companies[15].
Life in the 1990s
In the mid-90s, it was very difficult to work in cinema; the salary in the theater was not enough to live on. Tatyana Tashkova decided to leave the profession for a while. “No one thought that this ‘temporary’ thing would last more than ten years,” she says. “Many people told me: “You betrayed your profession.” Wouldn’t it be better to sit in the kitchen, smoke and think that I’m waiting for a great role?”
First, the actress got a job as a cook in a small private company. During the day, she prepared lunches for the employees, and in the evenings she went on stage. Then she attended art school and began making designer leather accessories. They were even successful at exhibitions and sold well abroad.
Finally, Tatyana graduated from banking school and mastered the securities market. She worked in a bank for several years and headed the central depository. Then Tatyana Tashkova headed a small private television company and made documentaries about Karelia.
According to Tashkova, she always remained an actress inside and perceived every new activity as another role. There was no time to be sad.
PERSONAL LIFE
The actress got married for the first time while still a student. The marriage lasted only a year and a half. Tatyana’s husband, a MGIMO graduate, was going on a business trip abroad. Her acting career was in full swing, and all her thoughts were only about creativity. The paths of the young spouses diverged.
Tatyana Alexandrovna found her happiness in her second marriage with director Evgeniy Tashkov, whom she met while working on the film “French Lessons.” The marriage proposal came as a complete surprise to the young actress, and she did not take it seriously.
“Thirty years is a huge age difference. And I treated him as I should treat a talented, intelligent, adult person - with respect and reverence,” said Tatyana. But gradually Evgeniy Ivanovich won her heart. A year later they got married. In 1983, their son Alexey was born, who also became a director.
The couple lived in perfect harmony for more than 30 years. “We created our own world, and that other world didn’t bother us at all,” Tatyana Aleksandrovna admitted in an interview.
INTERVIEW
About a happy childhood:
“I remember Mondays when my mother had a day off and she was at home. My sister and I walked into the house from the cold - cozy, with a stove, with frost-painted windows - and the smell of my mother’s pies. It was a real feeling of happiness."
About favorite roles:
“Roles in “French Lessons” and “Teenager”, in films directed by Evgeny Ivanovich Tashkov. Fate brought me together with this director and, perhaps, it is not strange that under his leadership I played images that remained not only in my memory, but also in the audience. I also really like the film “The Path to Medals”, where I played a volleyball player. Soviet-Japanese painting. It was a trip to Japan with a very good band and it was a lot of fun. And the role is very good. I played a girl whom a young man loved, and she married a singer, he was played by Misha Boyarsky. This all turned out to be an empty number, and the heroine then returns to her former lover. This whole story takes place against the backdrop of a sports career.”
On attitude to life and profession:
“I can sort through anything, I can work anywhere, I can, for example, become a postman. The profession always remains your favorite, but there are situations when you can’t get stuck in it. Even if I don’t have one, I still consider myself an actress inside. I’m sure that I can still do something and will do it in art, but sitting around doing nothing else, saying that I’m capable, talented, but I wasn’t appreciated, is probably not my path. I can think whatever I want about myself, but I will move forward.”

In the new century
With the revival of Russian cinema, there is a demand for once popular actors. Tatyana Aleksandrovna returned to the screen in 2004, starring in episodic roles in the series “Silver Lily of the Valley-2” and “Viola Tarakanova. In the world of criminal passions -1.” Then more serious works followed: Dita, Utesov’s daughter in the biographical film “Utesov. A song that lasts a lifetime,” Elizaveta, Sasha’s mother in the TV series “The Young and the Evil.”
Her participation in a commercial about bleach “As”, where Tatyana Tashkova created the unforgettable image of Aunt Asya, had a great resonance. It was played so organically that the audience now began to associate the actress with this heroine.
In recent years, Tatyana Aleksandrovna has regularly acted in films, playing the roles of doctors, directors, or simply mothers of the main characters. Among her characters: Lidia Semyonovna Kedrova in the film “Emergency Call”, Tatyana Mikhailovna in the series “Provincial Girl”, Elena Rogova in the melodrama “Gift of God”, Anna Petrovna Myskina in the drama “Verdict”, Raya Mitrofanova in the action-packed series “Special Correspondent of the Investigation Department” .
