Proskurin Viktor Alekseevich.

The mischievous look of a hooligan boy who does not change over the years, a cheerful, cheerful disposition and a sea of charm. All this is the theater and film actor beloved by many viewers, Honored Artist of Russia Viktor Proskurin. It is difficult to find a person who is not familiar with the restless merry fellow and joker Genka Lyapishev from the film “Big Change” and the caring father of a large family from the wonderful, incredibly vital and soulful film “Once Upon a Time, 20 Years Later.” It was these films that made Viktor Proskurin not just a celebrity, but also a real favorite of the public, a kind of guy from the people, whom the audience remembered and loved from the first minutes of his appearance on camera.

Childhood dreams

Proskurin Viktor Alekseevich was born in the city of Atbasar, Kazakh SSR in February 1952. One had only to look at this cheerful red-haired boy with a radiant smile to understand that the world has become richer for one more clown. And, of course, a wonderful person who was simply created to give joy to people. This is a special gift that is very rare on our planet. Very rarely do true talents appear in the world who can make people laugh, lift people’s spirits and bring such goodness and positivity, after which this amazing world becomes better and more beautiful. And Victor was just such a person.

Mistakes of youth

But his life path did not immediately become correct and worthy. Everything was in his destiny. And being brought to the police, and hooliganism, after which the parents lost all hope of raising a real person out of their scoundrel. He passionately wanted to be a clown, to amuse people and lift everyone's spirits. But instead, he once again arranged unforeseen situations, after which the entire courtyard gang, in which Victor was the ringleader, went for a stern conversation with the district police officer. And only after the boy saw that his friends went to the colony and crippled their fates already at the beginning of their life’s journey, he seemed to wake up and come to his senses. Victor realized that he was looking for the wrong leaders and the wrong priorities that were worthy of being followed by younger boys.

Find yourself

And then Viktor Proskurin, whose biography was very difficult, decided to find himself. He really wanted other people to confirm in him that talent, the presence of which the boy felt in himself from the first minutes of his conscious existence. Victor began to visit all the circus circles. But, alas, the verdict was clear. In the circus, training began from a very early age. And Victor was already almost a teenager. The dream of becoming a clown ended completely. He was ready to give up, but soon one dream gave way to another and gave him hope for a new full-fledged existence. If they don’t take you to the circus, then you can just as well amuse people on the screen. And this idea immediately attracted his heart. This time the guy made the right decision. Proskurin Viktor Alekseevich made a vital and only right choice. The matter remained small. Prove to everyone around him that he is worthy of this choice. And what at first seemed simple and accessible to him, in fact turned into another test, filled with multiple disappointments, failures and tests of character.

First acquaintance with the world of cinema

And only at the age of 15 did luck smile on this guy. One evening, fate itself brought him to the threshold of the Children's House of Creativity, where there was a wonderful theater studio. And it had to happen that it was here that he was immediately accepted without any obstacles or reservations regarding his age. Victor was in seventh heaven. Finally, he did what his restless heart so requested. And the parents were glad that their son had found himself and would no longer waste his energy on his criminal friends. It was this creative establishment that the famous director Grigory Pobedonostsev soon visited, who was selecting mischievous boys to participate in the film “Chapay’s Eaglets.” He liked Victor at first sight, and the guy was accepted into the picture with virtually no auditions. This was the first hit on target. From the day the picture was released on the big screens, the name of Viktor Proskurin became famous throughout the Soviet Union.

Choosing a life path

It should not have been surprising that Victor never doubted his choice of profession for a single day. He hated school with its useless subjects. For him there was only one vital subject - cinema and theater, without which life would have become completely meaningless for this guy. And so the school remained outside the threshold. And this moment in his life turned out to be one of the happiest for Proskurin. Oddly enough, he never wanted to remember school with regret, much less with nostalgia. Immediately after school, Viktor Proskurin went to enroll in the theater studio at the Moscow Art Theater. But, alas, this attempt at admission ended in failure. He was not accepted because of his short stature. This was the first blow for the young man. Other universities also refused. Some people didn’t like his very peculiar appearance. One lady from the admissions committee thought Vitya was too arrogant and strange. Still others considered him simply unsuitable for acting for no particular reason. In a word, a little more and he would have broken. Failures, of course, strengthen a person. But when there are too many of them, only a very strong person can withstand such an onslaught of fate.

The path to Lenkom

After graduating from school, Proskurin made a firm decision to enter only the theater institute. But he was denied admission due to his eye shape and height. Therefore, he sent his steps to the Shchukin School.

After studying, not settling down in Taganka, Proskurin the actor, whose filmography in just a few years will be of great interest to admirers of his talent, came to Lenkom. It was there that he had a lot of interesting and varied roles that showed new facets of his talent.

He spent almost all his time in the theater. And what was around him on stage was the same reality for Proskurin as what surrounded him in ordinary life, which took place outside the walls of the theater.

Long road to glory

Years passed. And along with them, the hero of this story grew and matured. Victor decided to take the enemy headlong and not retreat under any circumstances. And so it happened. He once again went to the Shchukin School and this time took the commission by storm. Representatives of the theater authorities simply did not dare to refuse such an assertive young man. And so began his studies, and then his serious adult life, which rapidly proceeded in various capital theaters. Due to his difficult character, the young man could not work well with the team. Viktor Proskurin is an actor who changed from one theater to another. But after a while something didn’t suit him again. Shchukinsky, Lenkom, Ermolova's theater and many others each time sent this artist out of the door, unable to continue to tolerate his absurd temper and uncontrollable antics. And after a series of failures in the theater, he somehow smoothly and unexpectedly moved into a cinematic life that was most suitable for himself.

Theater

In 1973, having received a diploma from the Boris Shchukin Theater School, Viktor Proskurin was enrolled in the Taganka Theater troupe. It is not known for certain what happened there, but in all biographical stories there is only this dry formulation: “I didn’t work well with the team.” The artist left not just anywhere, but to Lenkom, where Mark Zakharov invited him. Here the stars aligned for the young actor and his career took off rapidly.

Viktor Proskurin in the play “A Guy from Our Town”

The image of the Executioner in the production of Til was a great success. Then there were several more performances, among which the most striking was “The Guy from Our Yard” based on the work of Konstantin Simonov. But 10 years later, in 1988, Viktor Alekseevich left this theater. For many years, from 1988 to 2012, the artist played at the Maria Ermolova Theater.

Victor Proskurin and Tatyana Dogileva

But the new artistic director of the theater, Oleg Menshikov, decided to establish his own order in the department. He did it in a unique way: he pointed to the door to Viktor Proskurin and Tatyana Dogileva. But if the actress left with a scandal, then Viktor Alekseevich turned out to be restrained like a man. Declaring that he did not want to take part in “this everyday thing,” he left.

Victor Proskurin: films

Cinema turned out to be the very niche for him that appreciated his abilities more than worthy. After the “Big Change”, offers of new roles fell on him like a snowball, and Victor only had to choose the most suitable and interesting ones for himself. So he starred in the films: “Marry the Captain”, “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes”, “Spring Call”, “Cruel Romance”, “The Last Victim”, “School Waltz”, “Bribery”. All these films immediately fell in love with the audience, and the name of Victor Proskurin was finally fixed on the big screens.

Victor Proskurin: the personal life of an actor

Work was in full swing, life was rushing forward. And everything would be fine in this very life. Yes, the most important thing was missing in it. The person with whom you would like to go through fate together, raise children and raise grandchildren. It must be said that Victor always had enough light and non-binding novels. But this will never replace the warmth that every person so needs, regardless of his social status. Viktor Proskurin, whose films were loved by many viewers, was very mistaken in such searches. He has five not very successful marriages behind him. In the first of them his only daughter Alexandra was born. He was very worried about his unsuccessful personal life and, apparently due to nervousness, became seriously ill with anorexia. And if not for his fifth wife, Irina Honda, it is unknown how such trials would have ended for him. As a result, the topic of his personal life has become the most painful for him, and he now categorically refuses to talk with anyone about the most important things.

Personal life

As already mentioned, Proskurin was married five times, and is still in his last marriage. His wife is currently Irina Honda, who is almost 20 years younger than her husband.

It is interesting that with so many legal marriages, the actor has only one child. We are talking about the daughter Alexandra, born by his first wife Olga Gavrilyuk, his former classmate. The genes of her parents could not help but leap, as a result of which the girl also became an actress, but did not achieve the success of her famous father. It is known that Victor is already a grandfather, as his daughter has two children.
