It’s not a matter of betrayal: neither I nor Ira can blame each other for infidelity. We are both very loyal people, we were raised that way by our parents. The reason for the separation is the crazy passion for the profession,” says the singer.
Now Ruslan, by his own admission, is ready for a new relationship: “I really want to find my other half, have children. But I understand perfectly well that not every girl is ready to be an artist’s wife. It's very difficult. I am often asked: is it possible to combine personal life and career? From my own experience I can say no. That's why I only do creativity. I don’t have time for my personal life, although I hope that I will still find my love.”
Biography
Ruslan Alekhno was born on October 14, 1981 in the city of Bobruisk. It was here that the future musician spent his childhood. The boy's father worked as a military man, while his mother was an ordinary seamstress. Ruslan also has a brother, Yuri, who eventually managed to build a career as a designer in Europe. According to relatives, Ruslan’s passion for singing arose in early childhood. He often bothered those around him with his parodies of screen stars, pretending to be performing on a real stage. And when Ruslan’s talent became obvious, the parents decided to send their son to a local music school, where the foundations for the singer’s future success were laid.

Despite the fact that the main area of study at the music school was keyboards and guitar, he still gravitated towards vocals, which he openly declared to his teachers. Starting at the age of fifteen, Alekhno began performing at various youth competitions, hoping to achieve his first awards and make himself known throughout the country. It was only after graduating from school that the young man made an extremely unexpected decision - he entered the motor transport institute. But as the singer himself admits, he did this only in order to fully enjoy the fun student life that he had heard about.
But even then it was clear that Ruslan Alekhno’s true calling was singing. And he did not forget about it for a second, continuing to perform at various competitions. After receiving higher education, Alekhno ended up in a military unit, where he was made part of a local ensemble. Together with other talented colleagues, Ruslan traveled all over Europe. So during his years of service, Ruslan had his first tour, which would be the beginning of a successful career on stage.
Education
Thus, Ruslan Alekhno began his creative biography at the age of 8, entering a music school to study trumpet and accordion. The talented young man decided not to limit himself to these two musical instruments; he also learned to play the guitar, piano and drums. His parents supported the boy in all his endeavors and bought his son his first drum at the age of six. In addition to virtuoso playing, Ruslan discovered another talent - a wonderful voice. The future artist himself once admitted that playing instruments never interested him much, but he received great pleasure from being on stage as a performer. Alekhno began to be invited to various song competitions, where he took prizes over and over again.
Then Ruslan decided that creative activity did not guarantee him a comfortable future, and just in case, he entered a motor transport college. Ruslan himself called the main advantage of studying a fun student life, which he always dreamed of. Ruslan is also grateful to college for true friends who stayed with him both during his stunning success and after a slight decline in popularity. The artist also knows how to drive not only cars, but also trucks. It is not surprising that this skill was never useful to him.
In addition, Alekhno studied by correspondence at the pop-jazz department in Moscow and graduated from the pop vocal school in Greece. But the real breakthrough for Ruslan Alekhno was participation in the Eurovision Song Contest, in which he represented his native Belarus. Unfortunately, the performer failed to take first place, but the participant’s song was warmly received by the European audience, which contributed to the subsequent recording of the video and the release of a new album.

The pop singer's creative career began in childhood. But he gained wide popularity in 2004, after a triumphant victory at the prestigious People's Artist-2 competition. This event opened the way for the singer to the big stage and recognition from fans.
After winning the “People’s Artist-2” project, the singer recorded the song “Unusual”, which brought him victory, as part of a trio with Alexander Panayotov and Alexei Chumakov, which blew up the airwaves of all music channels and radio stations.
The year 2005 was quite fruitful in the singer’s musical biography. He starred in videos for his own songs, participated in international vocal competitions and continued to work on expanding his repertoire. The vocalist also signed a contract with the production center FBI-Music and released the album “Sooner or Later,” consisting of 12 tracks. In 2007, in the “Saturday Evening” program, the artist presented another hit “My Gold”. A video of the performance was later posted on YouTube.
In 2008, Ruslan Alekhno took part in Eurovision 2008 from Belarus, where he performed the song “Hasta La Vista”, written for him by the lead singer of the group “Prime Minister” Taras Demchuk and Eleonora Melnik. The singer failed to win the super-competition on a European scale, but his performance increased the audience rating, and he hot on the heels recorded a new album of the same name with the hit.
Since 2012, another creative stage began in the artist’s life. He records the compositions “Don’t Forget” and “We Will Stay,” which bring success to the vocalist.
In 2013, Ruslan presented listeners with a new song “Favorite”, with which he became the laureate of the Belarusian “Song of the Year 2013”. At the same time, the singer released the album “Heritage”, in which he included songs from the war years in gratitude to the veterans who defeated fascism during the Great Patriotic War. In 2014, Ruslan Alekhno and Valeria recorded the star hit “Heart of Glass,” the video for which was shot by the famous film director Yegor Konchalovsky. In 2020, the popular pop performer participated in the 3rd season of the One to One transformation show, which started on February 8 on the Russia 1 TV channel. Was declared the winner of the season by popular vote. During his participation in the competition, Ruslan Alekhno embodied 36 images on stage.
