Origin and childhood
EGO, or Edgar Margaryan, was born in Armenia on July 6, 1988. Later, the Margaryan family moved to Russia, to Rostov-on-Don, where the boy spent his childhood. There he went to school, which he completed quite successfully. Young EGO began writing poetry at the age of 10, and then he simply could not stop.
However, after receiving the certificate, Edgar does not go to a music school, but enters the Russian-Armenian University, intending to qualify as an “advertising and tourism manager.” And he would have been one of many young specialists, if not for a random pattern.
Biography of the singer
A young singer who has achieved great success in a couple of years of his musical career is Dominic Harrison. The boy's family loved music, so they managed to interest him in this form of art.
Childhood and youth
Dominic was born into a family far from creative activity. However, both parents and grandparents greatly appreciated high-quality music. My father sold guitars in a private store, and my grandfather was a music lover and at one time performed as part of the group T.Rex. He introduced his grandson to worthy compositions from different genres and tried to show as many interesting things as possible.
Dominic's parents chose a liberal model of education. They did not infringe on their son in any way - he could express himself in any direction. As a child, he could do anything with his hairstyle, dye his hair fiery red, paint his nails black, mom and dad didn’t forbid him anything.
Harrison began writing his first compositions at the age of 11. At first he simply learned to play the guitar, but then he realized that this was not enough for him, and began to write songs himself and decided to become a soloist. Among his inspirations he names Alex Turner from Arctic Monkeys and Sid Vicious from the Sex Pistols.
The path to popularity
Harrison never liked to study - going to school made him bored and despondent. Realizing that he is doing the wrong thing and is simply standing still, the young man decides to quit his education. At 16, he moved to London, where he began working at a local club to pay his rent.
In the capital of Great Britain, the future pop singer begins to attend an art academy. He doesn’t get any pleasure from classes; he doesn’t understand why teachers set so many boundaries and restrictions. Dominic begins to write his own music, devoid of any prejudices.
Harrison worked for a long time in a music club, where he met a producer who helped him break onto the stage.
First success
In 2020, he released his first singles, which were highly appreciated not only in the UK, but also far beyond its borders. The first album will be released in early 2020. Dominic begins recording videos that receive over 20 million views within a few weeks of release.
The main features of the young performer’s musical style are the absence of any boundaries, complete freedom of creativity, and self-expression. Music critics characterize him as a protest artist who has become the voice of the younger generation. In his songs he talks about pressing problems of society.

Yungblud is the pseudonym of Dominic Harrison. The producer, who turned out to have him as his youngest ward, helped come up with it. Young Blood - young blood, but the performer did not like this version. He removed the letters “o” and replaced them with “u”, obtaining a consonant and more original version.

Conventionally, the start of EGO’s activity as a performer can be considered the successful entry into the semi-finals at the “National Star” in 2007. However, real wild success awaited Edgar after his solo performance at the Yerevan Opera club, 3 years after his debut. In addition to visitors to the establishment, EGO’s performance was seen on Muz-TV throughout Russia, and this is on a completely different scale.
Needless to say, it was then that Edgar felt the full burden of fame, its sweetness and heaviness at the same time. Further, in 2012, EGO participates in the mega-project “Bravo, Armenia”. And he doesn’t just come to check in and support the company, but takes first place! Having achieved such impressive results, Edgar unexpectedly takes a time out. Apparently, the performer needed to rethink something, work on his style, and at the same time prepare new material. From 2012 to 2020, EGO avoided performing at large venues, resuming concert activity in 2020. By that time, he had time to prepare by recording a lot of good songs (and his own) instead of testing old ones or doing covers of other people's compositions.
Time has shown the viability of this approach, so a pause in performances of 3 years was appropriate. Edgar's specific hoarse timbre and variety of repertoire worked better than the most brilliant recommendations. The light, soft-sounding accent of EGO, which attracts rather than repels, does not spoil the picture. No wonder Edgar confidently packs stadiums and receives a storm of applause wherever he performs, in Moscow, Yerevan or Mozdok.

The singer’s personal life is still behind a thick veil of secrecy. Vlad, firstly, is still young enough for a large amount of information to surface about matters of the heart, and secondly, the musician himself does not seek to advertise details due to natural modesty. All that is known for sure is that the artist is not married and has no children. On social networks it is impossible to find even one photo where a guy is captured with a girl, and where to look: both Facebook and Instagram were created last year, there are very few photos and posts!

When asked questions with the word “wife,” the singer openly laughs - there is no wife, no official marriage is planned. On Facebook, in the “information” section, it is written that the musician does not have a partner. This makes fans very happy: the girls are simply crazy about the black-haired, brutal handsome man, and of course his “lonely” status gives them the opportunity to dream about getting to know Nebezao better and (what if you’re lucky?) establishing a close relationship with him. But the presenter of “Morning Live” on “Radio FM” in the summer of 2019 managed to bring something interesting to light during a conversation! The artist was embarrassed, even blushed slightly, but admitted: “Yes, there is a permanent girl.”

Despite the image of a macho, brutal guy cultivated on stage, and even a characteristic pseudonym, in personal relationships Edgar is the complete opposite. He is happily married, married to a beautiful girl who gave him a charming daughter. The main values for a performer, as a believer, a Christian, are concentrated in his loved ones.
Edgar maintains relationships with his parents and brother. The fact is that it was his mother, a teacher by profession and Russian by nationality, who instilled in the young man a love of language and influenced the development of EGO. And the older brother, Margar, took over contacts with the public, generously relieving Edgar of this burden.
Armenian families are traditionally strong in unity and family ties, and the Margaryans in this case are by no means an exception. And at home, Edgar is always waiting for his beloved wife and little daughter, who is only 2 years old, his two guardian angels.

Edgar’s plans, like every popular artist, are planned in advance. And it’s not always possible to make room in them for composing new tracks or simply relaxing. Another absurdity that is mentioned in both the first and second biographies. The young man allegedly, after leaving school (no one went anywhere, as it turned out), organized some kind of “murky” business, which he does not like to talk about now. And allegedly with money earned in a mysterious “dark” way, their first single was recorded. Regarding business: Nebezao makes no secret of what he did after school. “Organization of events, mainly small festivals,” is the answer to this question, voiced in the “Morning Broadcast” program. The next question immediately followed about the amount of earnings, to which the singer replied: “It happened in different ways, sometimes it reached ten thousand for one event.”

And the first song of the two Vlads, which appeared on the Internet on January 3, 2018 (we are talking about “Blue Dress”), did not cost them exorbitant amounts of money from “incomprehensible” money from mysterious earnings. Again, a quote from an interview from June 2019: “We had a familiar sound engineer who had helped us bring something to fruition before, he mixed everything for us for free, and we rented the beat for not too much money.” From this date, January 3, 2018, the history of the group begins: Nebezao and a friend named Nate Cuse became professional performers, which both made entries on their social networks. If we talk about the history of the creation of the composition, it is necessary to quote almost verbatim from the same interview: “We sat together, heard the beat, liked it, decided to put lyrics on the beat.”

The single “Blue Dress”, without which not a single performance of the group is now complete, immediately attracted the attention of not only the youth audience who are looking for incendiary songs on the Internet. The appearance of the composition determined the future career of Nebezao and Nate Cuse: soon the single “Taxi” was recorded together with Kazan Rafal and finalist of the “New Star Factory” Sergei Kuznetsov, known in the music community as Mastank. And, as they say now, away we go! “Taxi” appeared ready for download in February, “Just do it” premiered in March, another track created in collaboration with Mastank (“Airplane”) was already circulating online, and of course we can’t help but talk about “Black Panther.”
“Black Panther,” a single that appeared almost simultaneously on YouTube and social networks, became a calling card for Vlad and Nate. After the release of the song, the friends became truly popular, and at the same time a terrible noise arose around the name “Nebezao”. They wrote that the composition “shits in the ears of young listeners and not only” (the vocabulary from the review from the Kont resource was fully observed). But any creation is created primarily for listeners, and if the songs are liked and fly to the top of the chats, it means that they fully meet the tastes of users of music products and the spirit of the time.

Two Vlads did not expect at all, according to their later statements, that the track would quickly become so popular. And the fact that “Panther” will do well abroad was a pleasant, but extremely unexpected surprise. The work literally “blowed up” the dance floors in Turkey, and in Bulgaria it got to first place in almost all music chats. On YouTube, the track almost instantly gained more than a million plays, and reviews flew in from all over the world - especially from Bulgarian fans. The official video for the single, released in November in collaboration with Fatal, currently has almost four million views.

Singer Nebezao told the story behind the video, and it's quite interesting. The proposal to shoot a video came to friends at the same time that they received an almost finished script. Here is another fragment from an interview with the Bulgarian Internet channel “TheVoiceBulgaria”: “The idea appeared spontaneously, and since the label “ELECTRICA DIGITAL” decided to produce the video, it also provided us with the written script.
In principle, it was great that the label completely took over the “packaging” of the video, but in any case, everything was agreed upon as the work progressed. We looked at the script, clarified the details (which actors, where it would be filmed), and started recording.”
Touring to Bulgaria was a real shock for Nebezao and Nate Cuse, albeit in a pleasant way. The friends, of course, knew that there were a huge number of their fans in this country, but they never expected that the group’s arrival would be received with such excitement. Just shortly before visiting Bulgaria, the release of the new album “Secret room” was announced, and the singers were almost torn into small pieces by numerous fans who were full of delight at the arrival of their idols. Immediately from Bulgaria, the team flew to Novosibirsk, where they were received with no less enthusiasm - however, wherever Nebezao and his friend went, everywhere they were greeted by pre-sold tickets and full houses.

In September, Nebezao and Nate added a new hit called “How are you?” - it was recorded together with the Ukrainian Andrei Lenitsky (the prospect of working with Lenitsky was mentioned in a Bulgarian interview), and the song immediately hit the top chart on Like FM. In the official account of the group on the VKontakte resource, there is an opportunity to vote for the composition on the Like FM website, an appeal was posted to the fans: “We were already in first place with Black Panther, now it’s time for new melodies!”
