Childhood
Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Nevinny was born on November 30, 1934 in Tula. His father worked at a weapons factory, and his mother was a secretary-typist for the head of a railway department. Since childhood, Slava did not recognize authority or shouting over himself. “And not because I’m proud or clever,” he says, “it’s just that my nature rebelled against such communication. It seemed to me that it was always possible to quietly and calmly come to an agreement.” It must be admitted that the parents never punished their son. They lived quietly, did not get involved in politics, did not argue with anything...

From an early age, Vyacheslav showed interest in the theater. As a schoolboy, he took part in productions of the drama club that worked at the Tula Palace of Pioneers. By the end of school, he had already firmly decided to become an actor...

On the second try

In 1954, Vyacheslav Nevinny went to Moscow to enroll in the Studio School named after. V. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko at the Moscow Art Theater. The first attempt was unsuccessful. Having failed to pass the competition, he returned to Tula and got a job at the local Youth Theater in the auxiliary staff. What could await him - extras. Although sometimes the young actor was entrusted with small roles: the young worker Kuzma in the play “They Were First”, the executioner in the dramatization of the novel “The Three Musketeers” by Alexandre Dumas.

A year later, having gained experience, Vyacheslav again went to the capital. And again to the Moscow Art Theater School. Everything went well on this one. The young man was accepted. Four years later (in 1959) he successfully completed his studies and became an actor at the Moscow Art Theater. M. Gorky (since 1989 - Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov). So different Innocent...

Vyacheslav Nevinny first appeared on screen in 1960. In Vladimir Gerasimov’s psychological drama “Probationary Period,” he played the role of a young police officer Zaitsev. Vyacheslav Mikhailovich recalls: “What I saw turned out to be so different from what I had imagined! I even thought: “Why do you need others to look at this?” Since then I don’t like going to my films and talking about them.”

“If the children like it, then the role was a success”

The film “Guest from the Future,” an adaptation of Kir Bulychev’s novel “One Hundred Years Ahead,” was released in 1984 and immediately won the hearts of millions of children. And not only children. Moreover, the film remains very popular today, and this, given its genre (science fiction), is worth a lot. After all, with today's development of computer technology, it is possible to make a children's science fiction film with such special effects! And there will be no cardboard teleport trailers, a wretched time machine, etc. It’s possible, but... Somehow it doesn’t work out. Because despite all the technical inadequacy of that time, the creators gave us a truly sincere, kind, cheerful film. A film for all times.

Vyacheslav Nevinny in the film Guest from the Future

As already mentioned, Vyacheslav Nevinny played the villainous pirate Veselchak U. A villain, a villain, but sometimes how charming he is! For example, with what pleasure, with what appetizing gurgling, his character drinks kefir! And this is his expression: “Have you tried local kefir?!” The actor himself does not particularly highlight the role of Veselchak U: “The villain and the villain,” but at the same time he adds: “But I myself love this fairy tale very much, like fairy tales and children’s films in general. They say that you should write for children just as well as for adults, only better. What about playing? For me, a child's reaction is always purer and more simple-minded. If the children like it, I’m calm, then the role was a success.”

And children really like Vyacheslav Nevinny. And in person - on films, and in absentia - on cartoons. They say it in his unique voice: the Cat in “The Return of the Prodigal Parrot” (“Oh, you grayness... It’s a bubble-gum!”), the Bear in “The Hedgehog in the Fog” and many, many other characters.

In 2005, the actor underwent a difficult operation. At the Military Hospital named after. Vishnevsky Vyacheslav Nevinny had his left foot removed due to the onset of gangrene (a complication due to diabetes). In 2006, due to complications of the disease, the actor had to amputate his second leg.

Biography

Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Nevinny (1934 - 2009) - Soviet and Russian theater and film actor.
People's Artist of the USSR (1986). Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Nevinny was born on November 30, 1934 in Tula. He studied at the 23rd railway secondary school in Tula. His interest in theater arose early. While still at school, he took part in productions of the drama club that worked at the Tula Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren. In the winter and spring of 1952, the centenary of the death of N.V. Gogol was celebrated. As part of the events held in connection with this event, high school students staged scenes from “Dead Souls”: “Chichikov at Sobakevich”, “Chichikov at Plyushkin”, “Chichikov at Nozdryov”. In all these scenes, the role of Chichikov was played by ninth-grader Nevinny.

After graduating from high school in 1954, Nevinny took the entrance exams to the Moscow Art Theater School, but did not pass the competition. Having failed, he did not give up his dream of becoming an actor. He went to work at the Tula Youth Theater and in the 1954-1955 theater season he played in the supporting cast. The young extra had the opportunity to play separate roles. Among them are the role of the young worker Kuzma in the play “They Were First” and the role of the executioner in the dramatization of the novel “The Three Musketeers” by A. Dumas.

In 1955, Nevinny again took the exam for the Moscow Art Theater School. This time the attempt was successful. After graduating from the Moscow Art Theater School (course of V. Ya. Stanitsyn) in 1959, Vyacheslav Mikhailovich became an actor at the Moscow Art Theater. He played in the plays: “The Inspector General” (Khlestakov), “Guilty Without Guilt” (Shmaga), “Dulcinea Tobosskaya” (Aldonsa’s Groom), “The Last” (Yakorev), “Old New Year” (Peter Sebeikin), “Ivanov” ( Borkin), “Duck Hunt” (Sayapin), “The Seagull” (Shamraev), “Uncle Vanya” (Telegin), “The Cherry Orchard” (Epikhodov), “Woe from Wit” (Famusov), “Boris Godunov” (Varlaam) , “And the light shines in the darkness...” (Father Gerasim), “Mishin’s Anniversary” (Petrovich), “Marriage” (Scrambled Eggs).

In 1960, Nevinny starred in films, playing the role of a young police officer in the film “Probationary Period”. Many articles in the media duplicate the mistake that in the film “Probationary Period” V.M. Innocent was acting in a movie for the first time, but in fact he made his debut in the students’ graduation project in the film “Half the Distance to the Moon,” which also featured Yuri Vizbor’s song “You Are the Only One for Me.”

Then Nevinny starred in a number of other films, playing a young collective farmer in the film “Chairman” (1964), Farlaf in the film “Ruslan and Lyudmila”, etc.

Among the roles played by Vyacheslav Nevinny, there are also comedic ones. The role of Karpukhin in the film “Garage” (1979), the role of Jussi Vatanen in the joint Soviet-Finnish film “For Matches” (1980), the role of Gorbushkina’s brother in L. Gaidai’s comedy “It Can’t Be” (1975).

In 1984, Nevinny played the role of space pirate Veselchak U in the television series “Guest from the Future.”

The beginning of a film career

Innocent's first role was in the 1957 film "Communist". Innocent played a worker in a short episode; his name was not even included in the credits. But two years later, he was already playing on the same stage with Oleg Efremov and Oleg Tabakov in Vladimir Gerasimov’s “Probationary Period”. He appeared before the audience in the role of a young Komsomol member who got an internship with an experienced investigator. Tabakov plays his competitor, because in the end the investigator must choose one of them as his successor.

Oleg Efremov, Vyacheslav Nevinny and Oleg Tabakov in the film “Probationary Period”

In 1962, he was lucky to be on the set of Stanislav Rostotsky’s film “On the Seven Winds.” The star of this touching story about selfless love and heroism is Larisa Luzhina. The cast was truly stellar: Klara Luchko, Vyacheslav Tikhonov, Lyudmila Chursina. The role of Captain Yuri Zubarev was minor, but the charming Nevinny played it so brightly that he no longer experienced a shortage of interesting offers, starring in 2-3 films a year.

Vyacheslav Nevinny in the film “On the Seven Winds”

Georgy Danelia was the first to notice the actor’s comedic talent, inviting him to play in the film “Thirty Three” in 1965.

Inna Semitsvetova, Vyacheslav Nevinny and Andrei Mironov in the comedy “Beware of the Car”

In 1966, on the set of “Beware of the Car,” he met Eldar Ryazanov, which became fateful for the young actor. Remember the comical dialogue between Innocent and Andrei Mironov’s hero? This famous “listen, smell” from the lips of an imperturbable car mechanic sounded so funny that Ryazanov singled out Vyacheslav.

Vyacheslav Nevinny in the film "Garage"

No, Innocent never got the chance to get the main role from the legendary director, but all the supporting characters were forever remembered by the viewer. The odious Karpukhin from “Garage” in 1979, with his “brilliant” idea to teach monkeys how to collect pine nuts, and the awkward homeless alcoholic from “Promised Heaven” are completely different characters, but equally bright.

Illness and death

In 2006, due to complications of the disease, the actor had to amputate his second leg. Vyacheslav Mikhailovich endured the disease courageously, practically stopped leaving the house, refused meetings, and lived on a small pension. He said about his profession that an actor must answer all questions when the curtain opens, no matter what role he plays. “You must immediately understand whether he is smart or not, how he relates to his Motherland, whether he knows how to love.”

On May 31, 2009, he died at the age of 75 at 16:30 Moscow time in his Moscow apartment. A few days before his death, he received Orthodox baptism. Russian President D. A. Medvedev expressed his condolences to the actor’s family and friends. He was buried on June 3, 2009 in the “Alley of Actors” of the Troekurovsky Cemetery in Moscow, although some media outlets claimed that he would be buried, according to the request of the deceased, in the Alley of Actors of the Novodevichy Cemetery. Relatives of Vyacheslav Nevinny and the head of the Moscow Art Theater Oleg Tabakov asked the Moscow authorities and the mayor personally about this, but were refused.

His work also did not go unnoticed in Eldar Ryazanov’s films “Beware of the Car” and “Promised Heaven”, Leonid Gaidai’s comedy “It Can’t Be!”, as well as in the children’s science fiction film “Guest from the Future” and in the film adaptation of “Dead Souls” by Mikhail Schweitzer . Among the latest works of Vyacheslav
Nevinny is a remake of the famous Italian film “Policemen and Thieves”. In 1986 he received the title of People's Artist of the USSR.

The audience adored him: huge, terribly charming and very good-natured in appearance. His entire acting life was connected with the Art Theater, which Vyacheslav
Nevinny
served faithfully for more than forty years.
And he acted in films almost as long. The actor himself spoke about himself like this: “Working is always a pleasure for me. Work is always exciting for me. After all, I am doing the most wonderful thing in the world - theater." Personal life In 1955, when Vyacheslav
entered the Moscow Art Theater School, his future wife, Nina Gulyaeva, had just graduated from it.

Four years have passed. Innocent

He successfully graduated from the Studio School and entered the Moscow Art Theater, where Nina Gulyaeva also played.
By that time, she had already managed to get married and play several roles on the stage of the famous theater. One of them was in the play 'Battle on the Road'. Vyacheslav Nevinny
also received one of his first roles . They met.

A few months after they met, he completely lost his head - he came to all the performances where Gulyaeva was busy, gave her flowers, and called home. The same one was moderately reserved - after all, she was married. However, Innocent

was persistent. When Gulyaeva went to work on the radio, he did not leave her alone there either - in any frost or slush, he patiently waited at the exit and escorted her home. And this went on for three years.

In the end, Nina Ivanovna and her husband began to have problems, and she left. I just decided to find out for myself who she loves more. I rented a two-room apartment with a friend and began to think. Some time passed, and she realized that she loved Vyacheslav

Innocent.

A year later, he came to her rented apartment with an empty suitcase and stayed. They had a boy. At first they wanted to name their son Ilya. But when Nina Ivanovna first saw him at his first feeding (his nose was like a boot, turned up, his face was round), she thought that he was not Ilya at all. She suggested calling the boy Slava - he looks very much like her husband. Innocent

I was delighted. Although later she regretted: two Slavas in the house - she was constantly confused.

Nina Ivanovna’s son was born when she had not yet divorced her first husband. It was necessary to somehow identify my son. So we decided to sign with Nevinny. The registry office was in a hurry. Because on their wedding day - November 30, 1965 - they also registered their son...

Innocent appeared at the Moscow Art Theater

- the eldest and
Innocent
- the youngest.
They existed in a real creative atmosphere - a sort of family acting 'workshop'. Vyacheslav
lived side by side
with Nina Ivanovna Of course, the acting life has its own seamy side. The need for constant creative output, the lack of big money, real work - all this needs to be overcome. But when son Vyacheslav
decided to enter the Moscow Art Theater School, his parents did not dissuade him.
True, at the family council he was told: “Our comrades teach at this school. So study well.' For all the years, Slava did not receive a single “B”, and in the final he received a red diploma. Innocent,
to his son : “Work is always a joy.” Work is always a pleasure!'.

A terrible disease Vyacheslav
Nevinny
suffered from diabetes mellitus for many years.
Unfortunately, diseases do not go away with age, but only worsen. In 2003, Vyacheslav Mikhailovich
was hospitalized.
His legs hurt more and more, and he could no longer move. He spent more than a year in hospital beds. I also celebrated my 70th birthday there. In 2005, the actor underwent a difficult operation. At the Military Hospital named after. A.V. Vishnevsky Vyacheslav
Nevinny had his left leg amputated to the knee due to the onset of gangrene (a complication due to diabetes mellitus).

Vyacheslav
Mikhailovich
took it very hard; he couldn’t come to his senses for a long time: “At times I just didn’t want to wake up.
I almost started going crazy.' At this difficult moment, Innocent was helped by his colleagues and friends: Alexander Kalyagin and Oleg Tabakov. Thanks to their efforts, as well as the assistance of the native theater and the Union of Theater Workers, the expensive treatment was paid for. But it's not just about the money. In one of the best Moscow clinics, for Vyacheslav Mikhailovich
.
He learned to walk again and eventually appeared on the stage of the Art Theater! This is what perseverance, coupled with the support of family and friends, means. But the disease again presented Vyacheslav Mikhailovich
with a terrible blow. Gangrene affected the second leg.

Innocent

For a long time he did not want to believe that he would have to undergo surgery again, he hid the signs of the disease from his family, and bandaged himself.
But when he suddenly started bleeding, the artist was immediately sent to the Central Clinical Hospital. In 2006, due to complications of the disease, the actor had to amputate his second leg. And yet, life went on... Vyacheslav Mikhailovich
received enormous support from his son
Vyacheslav Nevinny Jr.
and his faithful wife (first and only) - Honored Artist of Russia
Nina Gulyaeva .
So that her husband did not feel cut off from the theater, Nina Ivanovna rehearsed her roles with him. He, in turn, suggested some new moves to her. Vyacheslav
Mikhailovich
his illness courageously, practically stopped leaving the house, refused meetings, and lived on a small pension.
On May 31, 2009 at 16:30 Moscow time, Vyacheslav Nevinny
died at the age of 75 in his Moscow apartment on Tverskaya Street, building 8. Despite his long illness, his death came as a complete surprise to his loved ones.

His role is comedy

It was logical to meet with another master of the comedy genre - Leonid Gaidai. The nameless beer seller became a key figure in the first short story of the 1975 film “It Can’t Be,” although no less famous artists worked nearby: Mikhail Pugovkin, Natalya Krachkovskaya, Nina Grebeshkova, Mikhail Svetin and Igor Yasulovich.

Vyacheslav Nevinny in the film “It Can’t Be”

Vyacheslav Mikhailovich took part in Gaidai’s next film, “Incognito from St. Petersburg” (1977). Among the dishonest bureaucratic brethren, his trustee of charitable institutions, Zemlyanika, looked harmonious. The cast was again excellent: Nonna Mordyukova and Anatoly Papanov, Leonid Kuravlev and Alexander Shirvindt, Anatoly Kuznetsov and Sergei Filippov.

Vyacheslav Nevinny with Evgeny Evstigneev in the film “Old New Year”

It is difficult to name at least one iconic comedic actor with whom Innocent did not work during his life. With Evgeny Evstigneev and Alexander Kalyagin he starred in “Old New Year” in 1980, with Evgeny Leonov, Galina Polskikh and Georgy Vitsin in the film “Behind the Matches”. Vyacheslav the Innocent: having beaten his wife, he never parted with her again

Vyacheslav Nevinny is the very embodiment of good nature and warmth on the screen. Playing even negative characters, he often won the sympathy of the audience.

The future artist was born in 1934 in Tula. His family had nothing to do with art. His father worked at a famous arms factory, his mother was a secretary in a railroad office. However, the boy was attracted to the theater from childhood. With pleasure, as a schoolboy, I took part in amateur performances.

Creation

After graduating from school, as expected, he went to Moscow to study as an artist. The first attempt to enter the Moscow Art Theater School was unsuccessful. Vyacheslav returned to his hometown and performed on the stage of the Tula Youth Theater for a whole year. On the second attempt, Nevinny easily entered the Moscow Art Theater School. After graduation, Vyacheslav was accepted into the Moscow Art Theater troupe, where he served as a leading actor for more than 40 years.

At the same time, the young man tries his hand at cinema.

"Probation"

The first role was a very tiny one, in the film “Communist” . But in the next film “Probationary Period” he gets one of the main roles.

"Watch out for the car"

In total, Vyacheslav Nevinny starred in more than 70 films in his career. “Beware of the Car” , “Old New Year” , “For Matches” , “Dead Souls” , “Garage” , “Guest from the Future” - this is not a complete list of films with bright, memorable roles of the great actor.

In Gaidai’s comedy “It Can’t Be!” perfectly performed the famous song “It’s not beer that kills people.”

Nevinny had a soft, pleasant voice, which allowed him to actively work as a voice actor at the Soyuzmultfilm studio. In total, he voiced about 50 cartoons. His voice is spoken, for example, by the bear cub in “Hedgehog in the Fog” or the cat in one of the episodes of “The Return of the Prodigal Parrot.”

Vyacheslav Nevinny: personal life

Vyacheslav Nevinny was married to a colleague, Moscow Art Theater actress, Nina Gulyaeva .

With his wife Nina Gulyaeva

Their path to family happiness was not cloudless. Nina was 3 years older than Vyacheslav and by the time they met she was already married to actor Mikhail Goryunov . The innocent man courted the girl for several years and eventually achieved his goal.

They had a son, who was also named Slava (now Vyacheslav Nevinny is the youngest, continuing the family dynasty - a famous actor at the Moscow Art Theater). Some time after this, they formalized the relationship. They lived a long, happy life together. They never had any reason to be jealous. During periods of forced separation, Vyacheslav called his wife every day and even the telephone operators did not dare to disconnect them when, carried away by the conversation, they ran out of time.

Illness and death

In the last years of his life, the actor suffered from diabetes. Due to complications, his leg was amputated. But even after this, learning to walk with a prosthesis, Nevinny dreamed of returning to the stage of his native theater. But the disease did not subside, and doctors were forced to take away the second leg. Until his last days, his beloved wife looked after Vyacheslav Mikhailovich. The actor died in his apartment surrounded by his family on May 31, 2009. His last words were: “Wait! I'll still get up and play everything! After all, I am an artist...”

The great actor wanted to be buried in the Alley of Actors at the Novodevichy Cemetery. After the death of the actor, the relatives of the deceased and the artistic director of the Moscow Art Theater Oleg Tabakov asked the Moscow authorities to provide a burial plot at the Novodevichy cemetery, but they were refused. Vyacheslav Mikhailovich was buried in the Alley of Actors of the Troekurovsky Cemetery in Moscow.

Theater works

Despite being busy in cinema, the actor never stopped working at his native Moscow Art Theater. Here he met his wife, and his son Vyacheslav Nevinny Jr. later appeared on the same stage. Theatrical work did not limit the actor to comedic roles.

Vyacheslav Nevinny gave many years to the Moscow Art Theater

He played in the legendary dramas of Chekhov and Ostrovsky. The Moscow Art Theater was famous for its television performances. Vyacheslav Mikhailovich participated in 24 productions.

Acting family of Vyacheslav Nevinny

Vyacheslav Mikhailovich’s family life was even happier than his career. Back in 1958, he met his Moscow Art Theater colleague Nina Gulyaeva (they played together in the play “The Battle on the Way”).

The girl was not only 4 years older than the actor and had already achieved professional success – she was married. But this did not stop the Innocent who fell madly in love. He went to all her performances, showered her with flowers, and accompanied his beloved to work and home. After three years of persistent courtship, she gave up. The marriage turned out to be happy - they were together all their lives.

The actor’s son, named after his father, believes that the secret of his parents’ strong marriage was that they never played at home, but were themselves. Vyacheslav Mikhailovich was a good, “hands-on” owner, an excellent father, and a common cause only brought the spouses closer together.

Innocent Jr. continued the glorious dynasty of actors. He has two daughters, Ivetta and Vasilisa. The girls remember their grandfather well and also followed in his footsteps.

Vyacheslav Nevinny - record holder in love

Not by his own will, the popular artist Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Nevinny recently made it to the front pages of newspapers - there were reports that his legs were paralyzed. This news excited the theater world, correspondents who rushed to find out the details of the incident, and the actor himself, who was taken by surprise by such sudden universal attention to his person.

Our readers from Tula, who knew the actor since childhood and could not reach him at home (Vyacheslav Mikhailovich fled from “popularity” to his dacha), contacted the editor, asking, “Is it really true?” We talk about the latest events in the actor’s life, as well as about his youth from the lips of his fellow countrymen (who shared unique, previously unpublished photographs with the editors) in our regular column “Family Album”.

Repeater and donut lover...

Many celebrities studied poorly at school, but Vyacheslav Mikhailovich, even against such a background, “distinguished himself” - he had a chronic D in mathematics, remained in the ninth grade for the second year, and one day... he dropped the teacher!

Nevinny’s classmate Yuri Bakin says:

“It happened during a German lesson, a new young teacher came to us. And during the lesson, Slava drove the guys from the first row, sat down on the back desk, leaned his back against the wall, and all the desks standing in front (there were about five of them) went forward straight to the teacher’s table. The teacher did not have time to get up, fell and hit her head on the board. She jumped up and demanded that Innocent leave the class, and he muttered as if nothing had happened: “No, I like German, I will study it.” The teacher ran after the director, who ordered Innocent not to appear at school without his parents. He was gone for a day or two, and then he came to our class and said: “Well, the boys will probably kick me out of school.” True, then he was simply left for the second year... Classmates (Nevinny studied at a men's gymnasium) say that Slava was very fond of making fun of his teachers, making fun of him. He showed the kids how to set a high temperature on a thermometer, he skipped physical education classes, although he played football with the boys in the yard.

And he also had a strange thing - he hated being photographed. He ran away when the class was lining up for a group photo. Innocent isn't even in the prom photo. Only his friends managed to catch him in the frame.

Everyone knew that he wanted to become an actor, although in the essays preserved by his class teacher, he wrote that he was going to become a combine operator, “to walk through golden fields on a combine, collect rye and give bread to people”... Slava is the only son of intelligent parents and nice people. Mom, Lidia Fedorovna, a very modest woman, short and thin, worked as a secretary on the railway, and her father, an engineer, was large and plump.

Slava took after his father; Since childhood, he grew up as a well-fed toddler and loved to eat.

His class teacher Yakov Naumovich Basin recalls:

— Slava was constantly late for classes, he couldn’t stop eating the donuts in the buffet. He never came to class when called. I ask: “Where have you been?” He answers: “In the buffet.”

- Did you punish him?

- No, I forgave. What can you do with him? He is such a simpleton, “absent-minded from Basseynaya Street.” Very good-natured, but a slob and a quitter. True, I adored my subject - literature and the Russian language. With an expression in their faces I read “The Inspector General”, Mayakovsky. I remember the bell from the lesson had already rung, and the guys were shouting: “Yakov Naumovich, let him keep reading!” They didn't want to leave the class.

Vyacheslav’s parents, unfortunately, did not live long: they fell ill with cancer and died one after another.

First love

Friends say that Nevinny had no attraction to the female sex. I studied at a boys' school and avoided girls in the yard.

“Slava himself said that he fell in love for the first time when he had already arrived in Moscow to enter the Moscow Art Theater School,” recalls Yakov Basin. — Nina Gulyaeva graduated from the studio and played in the theater. They began to play together in the same play and became friends. She became his first love, and soon his wife. He introduced me to her. She is small, like his mother, and he is a big guy, but he looks after him so carefully! Although they say that actors are fickle people, in my opinion, Slava is simply not capable of betrayal.”

Vyacheslav Mikhailovich worked at the Moscow Art Theater with his wife for 44 years and continues to serve his favorite work. The son of the Innocents, Vyacheslav Jr., who grew up behind the scenes, also followed in the footsteps of his parents and graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School, with teachers who taught him his parents.

Costs of the profession

The acting profession has its own costs - it is harmful to health. Vyacheslav Mikhailovich has been diligently struggling with illnesses in recent years (they say he has heart problems, diabetes), but he doesn’t show it, plays on stage as before, complains that there are no new roles at the Moscow Art Theater.

A friend of Innocent says that for the actor’s last birthday he ordered a huge Tula gingerbread, his favorite delicacy, but the actor’s wife called and warned that the holiday had to be canceled - Slava’s health had worsened... The message that Innocent’s legs were paralyzed was taken to heart by all of him fellow countrymen.

For an explanation of what actually happened to the actor, we turned to Tatyana Dogileva, the director of the play “Moscow Passions”, in which Innocent plays.

HELP "KP"

INNOCENT Vyacheslav Mikhailovich was born on November 30, 1934 in Tula.

Since 1959 - actor of the Moscow Art Theater. M. Gorky (since 1989 - Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov).

Starred in films:

"Can't be!" “Incognito from St. Petersburg” “Funny people!” “Garage” “Old New Year” “A Place in the Sun” “Guest from the Future”, etc.

THE INNOCENT CONFESSES THAT:

“The hardest thing for him to do on stage is to play love—for him, “it’s one of the impossible actions on stage.”

— His personal record is the role of Roshchin in the play “Old New Year,” which he played 425 times!

— The biggest failure was when he fell into an open hatch during a performance in 1997. Today he walks only thanks to the Sklif doctors who provided him with the necessary help.

— Contrary to popular belief, he now eats very moderately. And he gained weight because he was treated with hormonal drugs. The doctors immediately warned him: “You will be fat, but you will be able to run.”

Last years of life and death

Viewers remember the textured appearance of Vyacheslav Mikhailovich. At the age of 30, he began to be bothered by pain in his legs. Hormone therapy disrupted his metabolism, and the actor began to rapidly gain weight, and in 2003 he was diagnosed with diabetes. The disease progressed. The innocent man could hardly move, and then gangrene began. He lost both feet, but did not lose his fortitude.

Even in a wheelchair, he came to rehearsals and dreamed of going on stage with prosthetics. Director Nikolai Skorik specifically planned to stage the play “Freeloader” based on the works of Turgenev for Innocent. Alas, the plans were not destined to come true. After a hypertensive crisis, the People's Artist died on May 31, 2009.
