Yulia Shilova: My first husband was shot, I kicked my second out of the house

Alexander Shilov is a famous Russian and Soviet painter and portrait painter. He is distinguished by his incredible ability to work; he has created hundreds of paintings, many of which can be classified as “high art”. Alexander Shilov represents the older generation of Soviet artists who painted monumental paintings with ideological content. As a rule, these were large-format canvases, they were exhibited in large exhibition centers and were used by party leaders to promote communist values. But we must give the artist his due; he never stooped to the poster style in his works. Each painting on the theme of socialist construction carried a certain artistic value. People who came to the exhibition lingered for a long time in front of the paintings of Alexander Shilov.

Education

From 1968 to 1973, Alexander Shilov studied at the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute (Moscow State Academic Art Institute). During his student years, he constantly painted paintings, which were then exhibited at numerous opening days and exhibitions dedicated to the work of young artists. Already then, Alexander Shilov’s canvases stood out for their expressiveness.

In 1976, he was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR, after which he received a workshop and several orders from the country's party leadership. The talented painter began to work as an already recognized master. And in 1997, in accordance with the order of the Moscow government, Alexander Shilov’s personal gallery was opened in the very center of the capital, near the Kremlin. In the same year, the painter became a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts.

Since 1999, Alexander Shilov has sat on the Council for Arts and Culture under the President of the Russian Federation. New responsibilities demanded full commitment from the artist in terms of participation in the political life of the country; he began to visit his art studio less often.

In 2012, Alexander Shilov, the artist, finally went into politics and joined the Public Council under the Federal Security Service of Russia. Then he became one of Vladimir Putin’s confidants. In March 2014, he signed an appeal in support of the president’s political position regarding the events taking place in Ukraine.

Alexander Shilov personal life

Biography: childhood and youth

Alexander Maksovich Shilov was born on October 6, 1943 in Moscow.
His childhood years fell on the difficult post-war period. When Alexander was 15 years old, he lost his father. The future artist and his younger brother Sergei were raised by his mother and two grandmothers. The family lived very poorly. My mother worked in a kindergarten, and the teacher’s salary was barely enough for basic necessities. Shilov spent his entire childhood and youth in communal apartments. First on Sadovo-Samotechnaya Street, and then on Likhov Lane. A family of five people huddled in one room with an area of 13 square meters.

Shilov’s younger brother, at the age of 10, received a prize at a children’s drawing competition held in Austria. This inspired Alexander, who also loved to draw. He decided to enroll in the painting circle of the House of Pioneers in the Timiryazevsky district of the capital. Soon his younger brother gave up drawing. Alexander became so interested in it that he attended the circle in two shifts.

At the age of 16, Shilov transferred to a school for working youth, because the family was sorely short of money. At first he worked as a laboratory assistant in an air force clinic. Soon Shilov got a job as a loader. First to a furniture factory, and then to a winery, because they paid more. After work, Alexander did his favorite thing - drawing.

In 1968, Shilov, on his third attempt, became a student at the Moscow Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov. At the same time, he began to participate in various exhibitions of young artists.

Books

Julia decided to write books out of despair. Then she, all bandaged, was lying in a hospital bed, where she ended up after an attack in the elevator planned by her second ex-husband. The bleak thoughts were dispelled by an old acquaintance, a journalist for Moskovsky Komsomolets, who advised her friend to pour out her pain on paper. The result was a whole novel, which Shilova, again on the advice of a fellow correspondent, obediently took to the publishing house.

Year after year, the bibliography grew exponentially; as the writer said, she writes one work every two months. Among the stories beloved by Russian readers in the genre of crime melodrama, always flavored with a love conflict and already parsed into quotes, are “Changing the World, or My Name is Lady Bitch,” “The Thrill of the Hunt, or the Trophies of My Love,” “Turkish Love, or Hot Nights of the East.” ", "Spare wife", "Alphonse in padded jackets, or How much does it cost to forget you?", "Harem in Russian, or I am your husband's mistress."

Personal life

The first wife of Alexander Maksovich Shilov was Svetlana Folomeeva, an artist. On March 24, 1974, the couple had a son, Sasha, who decided to continue the family tradition and is currently a corresponding member of the RAI. Shilov Alexander Alexandrovich is a hereditary artist, but he has a pronounced individuality and his own style of painting.

Press about the wife of the artist Shilov

Many publications wrote about the artist’s divorce and the subsequent division of property in the year 2000. Express Gazeta was even fined at the artist's request for an interview with Elina, Anna Shilova's daughter from her first marriage. Elina described her mother’s difficult family life and portrayed her second husband in the most unsightly light. Anna also repeatedly shared in numerous interviews all the details of her relationship with the famous artist. Then the scandal practically died down, but a few years ago the program “Let Them Talk” was broadcast, where the old story was again raised. Around the same time (in 2011), another great interview with Elina appeared in the magazine “Caravan of Stories”.

Family life of the artist Shilov and his wife

In 1968, Anna and the young artist Alexander Shilov met at the clinic where the woman worked. He invited her to pose and soon made it clear that he had special feelings for her. Anna did not separate them. Six years later they met again. By that time, Shilov had experienced an unsuccessful marriage, and Anna’s family was also in a period of crisis. For more than a year, Anna had an affair with the artist, despite the fact that she was officially married. After Anna’s divorce from her first husband, Shilov did not immediately propose his hand and heart to his beloved. The wedding took place only shortly before the birth of their daughter Maria. Shilov fell in love with his daughter immediately, but he did not want to accept Elina into the family, and in the future he forbade Anna and Maria to communicate with her. The artist either gave his wife diamonds and fulfilled all her wishes, or kicked her out of the house for the slightest mistake, sometimes with her little daughter. But Anna assures that she loved her husband, and he loved her too, it was just his character. She practically did not meet with friends, devoting all her time to her family and her husband’s affairs: she organized receptions for guests, attended exhibitions, and went to receptions. Daughter Maria died very young from sarcoma. For her parents, this was a disaster and completely alienated them from each other. Soon the artist filed for divorce. He offered his wife lifelong payments in exchange for renouncing property claims, but she did not agree and demanded a division of property. According to Anna Shilova, the size of these payments was meager. The legal proceedings continued for several years. The scandal between the spouses has not yet been resolved. They don’t communicate and even visit Mary’s grave separately...

Painting and music

The artist entered into a third marriage with Yulia Volchenkova, a violinist. She is present in many of his paintings. In 1997, the couple had a daughter, Ekaterina. The divorce from Anna Shilova had not yet been formalized at that time and the artist could not register the marriage with Volchenkova. However, Shilov registered Katya as his legitimate daughter. The girl grew up and did not need anything.

Three years later, the family cooled down; the artist and the violinist lost their mutual feeling. A separation followed, which ended in the division of property. Yulia Volchenkova was the officially recognized wife of Alexander Shilov, and therefore litigation began over the division of property. The case was heard in two courts at once. One judge dealt with the housing issue, the second considered the general provisions, without which not a single divorce proceeding can proceed.

Personal life of Yulia Shilova

Yulia Shilova is a lawyer and psychologist by training. She began writing detective stories in 1999. Nowadays she is called the “queen of the detective novel.” Thrilling detective stories by the popular writer are published in huge editions. And although she is considered a women’s writer, Yulia’s crime melodramas are read not only by women. Her heroines are modern, successful women who do not hide behind the backs of men, but strive to achieve everything on their own. The image of each heroine echoes her fate.

“I grew up with my mother and stepfather, whom I loved very much. Oleg Nikolaevich was like a father to me,” says the writer in one of her interviews. “My mother worked in the electrical grid system of our city, and my stepfather was in charge of one of the city cooperatives. My mother is now on a well-deserved rest, lives in Moscow, and my stepfather died of a heart attack when he was a little over forty.”

Yulia Shilova

This is my first book from Yulia Shilova, I was expecting something vulgar, banal and written in poor language. It turned out that everything was not so bad, on the contrary, at times it was even very good. The life of the Turkish resort is described with 100% truthfulness; of course, the events in which the main character finds herself can happen to one in a million. Shilova takes her heroine from madly in love with a Turk, to hatred of everything overseas and, accordingly, love for her own, domestic. The main character has been going to Turkey for the second year to visit her lover and, she hopes, her future husband. On her way, she meets only the same fools in love who are ready to leave their husbands and children for the sake of resort machos. Here, I think, there is still a slight inflection, well, everyone cannot fall in love with a Turk selflessly, forgetting common sense. These resort macho men deceive their Russian girlfriends, extracting gifts and money from them. But not everything is so bad, because the main character meets a girl who married an oligarch. Although, even if she bathes in luxury, her eyes are sad and there is forever melancholy in them. There is also some kind of tilt here. It seems like an exception to the rule, but a bad exception. In the end, the miserable heroine begins to see the light and decides that the Turks were all lying and gigolos, and in the penultimate chapter she gives such a monologue that you can’t help but wonder where your head was just a couple of days ago. And somehow everything is too simple with Shilova, they beckoned the girl with their finger, and she immediately ran, losing her head, well, not everyone is like that, many go to Turkey just to relax :) Also, of course, for contrast, it is present in the story a Russian man who was once the love of the heroine’s life, but did not dare to leave the family (he was married) and she decided to break off the relationship. But, in the midst of events, the heroine meets her ex, it turned out that all this time he loved her, and divorced his wife because he caught her with her lover. And our heroine ends up with her Russian would-be lover. I can't agree with this. Here the author clearly has double standards, it seems to me that the situation with the Turks, and the situation with a married man who cannot leave his wife, are all humiliating for the girl. But still, on the whole, I liked the book, the language is lively, just a typo here and there, the hero hugged the heroine loudly and laughed, but you can easily close your eyes to this. And, of course, even knowing that everything will be fine with the heroine, you worry about her, what other test fate will send her. So for me, Yulia Shilova is an easy author who helps relieve my head and lift my spirits.
