One of them, young Lera Kudryavtseva, who came to the capital from Kazakhstan, captivated Sergei with her charm and perseverance. Her romance with the drummer of her favorite band developed very quickly: at the age of 18 she became pregnant, and the couple began to prepare for the wedding, despite the fact that the producer and the musician’s parents were strongly against it. As a result, the fact of formalizing the relationship had to be hidden from the team’s management.

In 1990, a son, Jean, was born into a young family. At that time, Lera was also keen on the work of the Belgian actor and director Van Damme, and she named the child in honor of him.

The early marriage was unsuccessful. It was very difficult for the young wife to bear her husband’s popularity: “well-wishers” constantly reported on his infidelities, slandered him, guarded Leroux on the street, threatened and shouted nasty things. There were endless scandals in the Lenyukov family, and the couple and the child had to live in a small apartment with Sergei’s mother, which also added fuel to the fire. The relationship eventually lasted 2 years.

The media reported conflicting information about who was raising little Jean at that time: according to Kudryavtseva, Sergei did not see his son, evaded child support, and she raised the child alone, and the relatives of her ex-husband accused Leroux that she “threw” her son over to them , and she took up her personal life and career. After the divorce, the couple noisily scandalized in the press, recalling old grievances to each other. The group's producer Andrei Razin sided with his protégé. He was especially outraged by the accusations that Lenyuk beat his wife and abused alcohol.
