There, the future actress, in addition to the usual one, immediately entered a music school.

Sasha knew that she would be an actress from a young age. She memorized poems with ease and was not afraid to recite them in public.
Bortich’s attempt to get into a theater institute after 11th grade was unsuccessful. The girl easily entered the pedagogical institute, but after a couple of months she realized that this was not her path. The creative nature was bored there. Having got a job as a waitress in a bar, Sasha did not miss a single casting.
BIOGRAPHY
The actress spent her childhood in the city of Grodno, where she moved with her mother after her parents’ divorce.
Then the family moved to Moscow. In addition to secondary school, the girl graduated from music school - saxophone class. Alexandra wanted to become an actress in high school and even attended drama school. However, I failed to enter the acting department on my first try. For some time she attended classes at a pedagogical university, but soon she took the documents from there and returned to her dream. Bortich began going to all the castings. To earn a living, she got a job as a waitress. Finally, luck smiled on the girl - she was invited to the film “What’s My Name”, and immediately to the main role.
MOVIE
Alexandra Bortich's debut turned out to be bright. In Nigina Sayfullaeva’s drama “What’s My Name,” she played 17-year-old Sasha, who travels with her friend Olya to a small seaside village. Olya wants to meet her father, whom she has never seen, but she is afraid of the meeting and asks Sasha to “switch places.”
Alexandra was approved for the role immediately - according to the director, she was perfect. Her partners were Marina Vasilyeva and Konstantin Lavronenko. Filmed in Crimea, several months of dedicated work. The result is a film that was included in several festivals (including San Sebastian) and received a special jury diploma at Kinotavr.
“For me this is a separate page of life. Thanks to Nigina, Konstantin, Marina, everything was very simple. We all somehow lived together,” Sasha shared in an interview.
The debutante herself was also noticed, but new offers did not appear immediately. For some time, the actress even had to return to waitressing. But soon she was approved for the role of Kira in the adventure comedy “The Elusive”, and then for the role of the careerist Alena in “Spiritless 2”. From that moment on there was no turning back.
“I got into such a tight rhythm of work, it was such a rich year of impressions... When I starred in “The Elusive” and in “Spiritless”, I realized that this is the work of life. This is how I earn my living,” says Alexandra Bortich.
Since then, many high-profile projects have appeared in the actress’s filmography. The series “Shot”, “Lyudmila Gurchenko” and “Policeman from Rublyovka” were successful. Famous director Anna Melikyan invited Bortich to play the role of a street artist’s muse in her film “About Love”. And at the end of 2020, the historical drama “Viking” was released, where Alexandra played the Polotsk princess Rogneda. In preparation for this role, the actress read “The Tale of Bygone Years” and studied the art of knife fighting, and fit in perfectly with the star cast of the project. The film also stars Danila Kozlovsky, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Maxim Sukhanov, Andrey Smolyakov, Vladimir Epifantsev.
The premiere of the thriller “Conductor” is scheduled for 2020. “This is one of my most difficult projects,” said Alexandra Bortich. - I have the main role, I’m on set from morning to night, I have a lot of difficult stunt scenes, I have to run, jump, fall, hang on cables... In one of the scenes I was suspended on cables, and I dangled on them for almost the whole day, to in the evening I was just screaming in pain.” But the actress does not regret anything; all the difficulties are more than compensated for by the interesting genre and wonderful colleagues: Evgeny Tsyganov, Vladimir Yaglych and Alexander Robak.
Also in 2020, the comedy series “Philology” will be released about guys who find themselves in the most “female” department of the university.
Another high-profile premiere is the series “Torgsin” on the Rossiya TV channel. The film takes place in Moscow in the thirties of the last century. The heroine of Alexandra Bortich is translator Lida Sokolskaya. She finds an emerald pendant in her deceased father's belongings and, hoping to learn his story, goes to Torgsin. She doesn’t yet know that this will lead her to great love and new secrets.
Personal life of Alexandra Bortich
At her young age, Alexandra has already experienced a serious relationship. For three years, the girl dated the young actor Ilya Malanin, having met him on the set of “The Elusive.” The lovers lived together and even thought about an official relationship and children. In the summer of 2020, news about Sasha’s wedding spread among fans, and photos in a white dress and with a wedding ring appeared on Instagram. But it turned out that these were stills from the filming of the 7th episode of the 2nd season of “Policeman from Rublyovka”.
After some time, the lovers separated. No one knows about the exact reasons for the separation, but there are rumors that Ilya left his girlfriend after filming the film “Viking,” where Bortich had an explicit scene. Sasha denies this version, since she has always advocated freedom of creativity and was not afraid of scenes “on the brink”.
When the “Elusive” event took place, the actress paraded around Moscow in a flesh-colored suit, which created a complete feeling of nudity. Alexandra also participated in a photo shoot for Maxim magazine and others.
Now Bortich lives alone in her own apartment. She is accompanied by a bulldog named Jagger. In her free time, the girl chats with friends, rides a skateboard and motorcycle, and has no intention of starting a new relationship.

INTERVIEW
About emotionality:
“Sometimes I lack a certain calmness that would not allow me to react too emotionally, not to take everything to heart. I can't just relate to some things. Sometimes it would be worth giving up and saying: “Well, to hell with it! I'm above this." But it doesn't work. This hot temper is all I am, that’s my nature. I can’t do anything with her yet!”
About the profession:
“For me, acting is not a sport. I don’t think: “Oh, what a difficult role! Will I manage it or not? One way or another, I let a lot pass through myself. It opens up something completely unexpected inside.”
“Even for episodic roles, you have to give it your all. I always enjoy my work and enjoy the process. Sometimes it's difficult. But if I have to play a very difficult scene, then I try, and at the end of the shooting day I feel incredible satisfaction.”
About male attractiveness:
“In my opinion, intelligence is one of the sexiest male qualities. For me, nothing will help the most handsome guy in the perfect car if he’s stupid.”
About prohibitions in art:
“I am certainly against any restrictions, but no one can force you to do something bad, without love. I’m just offended that the texture of cinema can become poorer, that’s all. Film language is complex even without restrictions, it’s difficult to speak, but here your tools are being shortened and shortened. But anyway, I think you can either be a hack or you can't. Because the worst thing in any field of art is the desire to simply make money, to create who knows what.”
About animals:
"I like animals a lot. Dogs. I don’t like cats, but I had to fall in love with them. Because now we have both a dog and a cat. But cats only pretend to be cute, but in reality they are such cunning bastards. And I love horses, someday I would like my own horse.”
About dreams:
“In my pink fantasies, I have five children, a job I love, I take care of the house and look after the dog.”

Girl of the week: Alexandra Bortich
This week, one of the brightest films from the latest Kinotavr, “What’s My Name,” was released, which became the feature-length debut for director Nigina Sayfullaeva and both young actresses who played the main roles. We chose one of them, Alexandra Bortich, as the new Girl of the Week
The last film festival “Kinotavr” immediately received the unofficial title of “women’s”. “Goodbye, Mom” by Svetlana Proskurina, “Another Year” by Oksana Bychkova, “Star” by Anna Melikyan, “Nadezhda Plant” by Natalya Meshchaninova, “Welcome Home” by Angelina Nikonova, “What’s My Name” by Nigina Saifullaeva - you can add here too Valeria Gai Germanika’s new film, which did not take part in Kinotavr, but fits perfectly into the overall picture of the rise. This list, as you can see, includes both new films by already well-known female directors and debut full-length works by girls who are quite young by cinema standards. The “voice” of this new female wave has already been called screenwriter Lyubov Mulmenko, who had a hand in creating three of the six such scripts, including “What’s My Name,” which was released in Russian theaters this Thursday. This is also a debut for Mulmenko: before breaking into cinema this year, she worked as a journalist for several publications and wrote plays for theatrical productions.
Along with female directors and screenwriters, several new names of female actresses predictably thundered. Nigina Sayfullaeva, the author of “What’s My Name,” invited very young actresses to shoot her feature-length debut (before this film she had only a few short films and TV series behind her): Marina Vasilyeva, who played Olya, turned 21 in August, and Alexandra Bortich She celebrated her 20th birthday in September. And for both girls, Sayfullaeva’s film became their debut in their careers. Belarusian Bortich, however, has three new films coming out next year - and filming “Duhless 2” has already brought her much greater fame than her wonderful acting work in “What’s My Name.” Although the premiere of the latter took place this week, we still have a whole year to wait for the continuation of Minaev’s story. But finding a cinema where Sayfullaeva’s film will be shown is not an easy task, and footage from “Duhless 2” has already spread all over the Internet.
You probably remember the story of the Moscow Lady Godiva, which was discussed in the capital in early September: a completely naked girl appeared in the center of Moscow riding a white horse. As it turned out later, the filming of the sequel “Duhless” was taking place on Manezhnaya Square, for the sake of which Tverskaya and Okhotny Ryad were blocked, and Alexandra Bortich turned out to be the “naked rider”. The identity of the horse, by the way, was also revealed: the white stallion’s name is Cox, which is quite in the spirit of “Duhless”.
The Elusive, another upcoming film starring Bortich, also has a rather unusual advertising campaign. And the main role in it also went to the young actress, although this time she does not show her body and even hides her face with a helmet. Just a month after the story with Lady Godiva, a video appeared on the Internet with an unknown girl on a red motorcycle, racing around the city and fighting people who litter on the streets and roads. The video turned out to be a fragment of the film "Elusive" about three young people fighting injustice on different levels and in all possible ways. The slogan of the film is promising: “Young people will change the world.”
We, of course, believe that the heroes of The Elusive will be able to change the world - anyone can be a superhero on screen. The world of Russian cinema is also changing right now, in real time - and it seems to have a female face.

Nika Izmailova in the series Policeman from Rublyovka
The following year, Bortich appeared in the cult youth series “Policeman from Rublyovka” for the role of Nika Izmailova, Grisha’s sister and a demon girl for Yakovlev.
It is worth noting Sasha’s work in the historical film “Viking”, where she played Rogneda, the wife of Prince Vladimir. The film caused a wide resonance in society. There were different opinions about it, but this only added to the popularity of the actors who starred in it.
For the sake of her role in Alexei Nuzhny’s film “I’m Losing Weight,” Alexandra gained 20 kilograms, and with the same ease lost weight during filming. For those who think that this is all makeup and photoshop, Sasha published a video on Instagram in which she showed everything as it is. She also admits that in her youth her weight was close to 75 kilograms.
Now the actress is trying herself in new film genres: science fiction and melodrama. She received the role of the heroine Sasha in the film “Beyond the Line”. She has unusual abilities.
At the same time, Bortich was invited to the series “You're All Infuriating Me.” Together with her in the film we will see Anna Kotova-Deryabina and Alexander Petrov.
