Sasha Zaritskaya was born on August 3, 1992 in Kharkov. The girl always had a passion for singing. Already at the age of 5, she wrote songs, designed stage outfits and performed in front of relatives. But the parents dreamed that their daughter would receive a legal education. The girl’s entire family is in one way or another connected with jurisprudence: her father is a lawyer, her grandmother worked as a judge for more than 40 years.

Recalling her childhood, Zaritskaya says that for as long as she can remember, she always wanted to be an artist, although both her parents and the whole family thought that the girl would become a famous lawyer. From the age of five, the future star dreamed of a stage, organized home concerts, composed songs, designed costumes and staged fashion shows.

Growing up, young Alexandra never gave up her dream of becoming a famous artist. Despite difficulties and failures, she always went towards her goal and believed in herself. This is probably why she was able to take advantage of her chance to become famous when it turned up.
In 2020, Alexandra took part in the casting for the sexy group NIKITA, which took place in Odessa. Then she did not pass the audition, but, speaking last, the girl simply charmed all the organizers.

In 2014, Alexandra took part in the vocal TV show “Voice of Ukraine”. Zaritskaya, who joined Ani Lorak’s team, was remembered by the audience for her performance of the song “Price Tag” by singer Jessie J, as well as her victory in the “fights” where she met with Irina Khomenko. The girls sang the group’s main hit “No Doubt” in an unusual jazz arrangement and, according to the voting results, Alexandra won. Alexandra Zaritskaya on the TV show “Voice of Ukraine” Sasha admitted that compared to the other participants she felt not talented enough: “Everyone here is so capable that I walk around with my mouth open.” However, she clearly underestimated her abilities. However, after Alexandra’s “knockout” with Marlen Karimov, Ani Lorak gave preference to the young man. But failure did not break Alexandra - soon she again declared herself throughout the country as a member of the electro-folk group KAZKA. In the interval between losing the show and creating the team, Alexandra made a living as a singer in a karaoke bar. The work was not easy: from nine in the evening to six in the morning I had to sing with the visitors all the time.

The Kazka group was formed at the beginning of 2020 under the auspices of the Mama music label. In addition to Alexandra, the band included guitarist and keyboard player Nikita Budash (they were later joined by Dmitry Mazuryak, who was responsible for the brass section). The first single “Svyata” was released on the first day of spring, and soon the catchy chorus “Oh, mom, na svyata, I’m not holy” was sung here and there. At the end of the year, the composition took 9th place in the ranking of the most rotated songs, and the group itself received the YUNA Award as a breakthrough 2017. Alexandra Zaritskaya and the KAZKA group on the X-Factor project Autumn 2020 began for Alexandra and Nikita with participation in the 8th season of the X-Factor show. Each mentor took a specific category of participants, so KAZKA ended up with Andrey Danilko, who specialized in groups. The guys performed the song “Love Runs Out” and were among the top three selected. But, unfortunately, according to the results of the entire show, KAZKA took only 7th place, having been eliminated according to the results of audience voting. But the group was remembered for its vivid performance of hits from “Abba”, LP, Vladimir Vysotsky.

Immediately after leaving the X Factor, the group scored a new hit, “Diva.” It instantly took off to the first line of the national iTunes chart, with the same song KAZKA auditioned for Eurovision 2018. In February, an unusual, very stylish video was released, which received several million views on YouTube.
Next, Ukraine heard the full-length studio album “KARMA”, which included 10 tracks. The undoubted pearl of the record was the song “Crying”, which captivated listeners not only in Ukraine, but also in Russia, Bulgaria, Moldova and Kazakhstan.

In February 2018, the music group KAZKA became “Discovery of the Year” according to the prestigious Ukrainian version of YUNA. It is noteworthy that another contender for this nomination was MELOVIN - their successful rival during the national selection for Eurovision 2018. But this time the guys managed to get around him, which they were openly and directly happy about.

For their song “Diva”, with which Zaritskaya and her colleagues participated in the Eurovision selection, the trio shot a video in the style of a fashion nativity scene. The musicians were inspired to create this work by the brilliant screenwriter, director and artist Sergei Parajanov. The video clip is a collage that includes several parables telling about miracles, the main symbols of which are Faith and Love.

And at the beginning of the summer of 2020, the guys presented their first album “Karma”. The presentation took place in one of the fashionable Kyiv clubs. The hall was practically filled with fans who actively sang and danced along with the soloist and called their idols for an encore.
Sasha Zaritskaya, to the accompaniment of one of the specially invited guests from the band Mountain Breeze, performed several covers in English, which earned her a standing ovation from the audience. The last part of the concert consisted of tracks from the debut album.
In October 2018, there was another breakthrough in Alexandra’s creative career. The composition “Crying” appeared on the Shazam chart and entered the TOP 10.

After one of her performances on the X Factor show, Alexandra said that it was difficult for her to perform Vladimir Vysotsky’s ballad at the competition. According to the girl, in order to be inspired by this work, one must experience true love, and she has not yet had serious feelings. However, if the young singer did not have serious feelings, she did have a romantic relationship. While participating in the show “The Voice,” she met with Mikhail Panchishin, who eventually became the winner of the project. The relationship between Alexandra and Mikhail ended with the end of the show, but the young people continue to be friends.

The singer is credited with an affair with Nikita Budash, but both Sasha and Nikita deny that they are connected by anything other than participation in the Kazka group and friendly sympathy.
