The future actress was born and raised in Moscow in a friendly, intelligent family. Father, Vladimir Ivanovich, is an Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, and runs the capital’s psychiatric clinic No. 5. Mother is a candidate of psychological sciences and has worked as a psychologist all her life. Alexandra has an older brother, Mikhail, a journalist and editor of a popular website about cinema.

Little Sashenka grew up as an active and inquisitive child, she never sat still for a second and was constantly bursting with ideas. At the age of fifteen, the girl decided to go into modeling and quite soon achieved noticeable results. The crowning achievement of her fashion career at that time was filming in Spain for the “Afisha-World” project and a fashion show at the Historical Museum. And, although good prospects in this area loomed ahead, the desire to become an actress won. Sasha began to seriously prepare for admission to the theater institute and, after graduating from high school, in 2008 she became a student at the Moscow Art Theater School.

The girl ended up in the studio of Kirill Serebrennikov, who became not only her creative director, but also her “godfather” in the art world. Already in her first years, Sasha began to appear on the Moscow Art Theater stage, participated in the plays “Crime and Punishment”, “Cain”, “Hero of Our Time”, “Red Line”, where she played leading roles.

In 2012, from the best students of his course, including Revenko, Serebrennikov organized the “Seventh Studio”, which became the foundation of his famous “Gogol Center”.

Film career
Revenko began acting in films in 2006, making her debut in the film “Someone Else’s Own Sister.” Her first appearance on the screen went almost unnoticed, and over the next six years, all attempts by the ambitious actress to get a bright, interesting role ended in vain. Deciding to take a break, the girl threw herself into theatrical work, at the same time deciding to resume her modeling activities. But the real high point for Revenko was the role of basketball player Alexandra Sveshnikova (the real name of the athlete Ovchinnikova), the wife of Alexander Belov, in the acclaimed film “Moving Up,” which became a highlight of 2020.
Director Anton Megerdichev assembled a whole constellation of actors who managed to convincingly convey the fortitude of Soviet athletes and their iron will on the path to victory. “I was very inspired by this love story and let it into myself,” the actress recalled. However, Ovchinnikova herself, like many other prototypes of the heroes of “Moving Up,” filed a lawsuit against the filmmakers for distortion of facts.

Revenko’s debut work on the screen was the drama “My Own Alien Sister,” directed by Mikhail Vedyshev (“The Wanderer,” “Bursa,” “Sitting on a Bunch Like a King”). The film was released in 2006, which coincides with the beginning of Sasha’s career in the modeling business.

Alexandra’s next appearance on the screen occurred only in 2012 - six years after Vedyshev’s film. This time the girl appeared in the drama series “Without Witnesses,” which, in fact, was a domestic adaptation of an Israeli series directed by Russian director Ilya Malkin (“Short Circuit,” “Doctor Pirogova,” “All for the Better”). Revenko's company on the set included Ksenia Kutepova, Daria Moroz and Dmitry Orlov.
Then another break in work followed, but this time half as long as the first. In 2020, Alexandra again appears in the cast of the series - this time in “Spider” by Evgeniy Zvezdakov (“Scenery for a Murder”, “Jackal”, “Talyanka”). The series is filmed in the crime detective genre and tells the story of the investigation into the robbery of the State Bank of the Armenian SSR that actually happened in 1977. The main roles in Zvezdakov's film were played by Andrei Smolyakov, Yuri Chursin and Marina Alexandrova.

The next year for Revenko was remembered for the short films “About Football and About Angels” by Aksinya Gog and “Free” by Yulia Dmitrieva, as well as the film adaptation of Serebrennikov’s play “The Apprentice”, based on the play by Marius von Mayenburg. The production stars Victoria Isakova, Alexander Gorchilin, Anton Vasiliev and Pyotr Skvortsov.
After the infamous “The Apprentice,” Alexandra chose to star in a patriotic film, which was the sports drama “Moving Up.”

Most of the actors who starred in Moving Up are real athletes. However, Revenko’s company in that film was also made up of her colleagues in the workshop - Vladimir Mashkov, Marat Basharov and Andrei Smolyakov, already familiar to Sasha. The film was directed by Anton Megerdichev, who previously directed “Metro,” “Yolki 3,” and another sports drama, “Shadowboxing 2: Revenge.”
Around the same time as Megerdichev’s film, another film with the participation of a young actress, “How Vitka Chesnok took Lekha Shtyr to the nursing home,” was released. The director of this simple Russian story, as critics and audiences unanimously dubbed the film, was Alexander Hunt, whose still sparse filmography can only boast of the films “At the Opera” and “Dinner.” The main roles in this film were played by Alexey Serebryakov, Evgeny Tkachuk and Olga Lapshina.
