Dmitry Koldun is a Belarusian singer and composer, winner of the 6th season of the Star Factory talent show. Philip Kirkorov, responding to a request from the producers of the project to sing with one of the participants, chose Dima, saying that he only works with winners. And there were still a couple of months left before the final.

The king of the Russian stage, which, by the way, Dmitry, in his own words, did not like, offered his young colleague the composition “Work Your Magic”. With this song, the Sorcerer brought Belarus to the Eurovision final for the first time in history.

But this time everything went according to a different scenario. Taking George by surprise before a rehearsal for a big solo concert , we asked him to tell us his 10 facts about women... And about relationships with them!

1. To remain beautiful, a woman keeps her distance.
It's like a carrot for a donkey, which always looms at an unattainable distance.
2. I know what it’s like to feel like that “blonde” from the jokes.
This is when you need to say something important, but the words in your head run in different directions like sheep. You try to catch them and drive them into the barn so that they finally get together. But they just run around chaotically and shout: “Bee... Bee.” (Laughs.)
3. A woman who can afford to be funny and ridiculous is sexy.
An important note: if at the same time she manages to remain attractive. And this talent is given to few.
4. When a woman’s tears are weakness, it is disarming. When a woman’s tears are manipulation, it’s infuriating.
And over time, a man can almost accurately distinguish one from the other. Can I cry myself because of a woman? Yes, sure.
5. You cannot say to a woman: “Please, before we start a relationship, take an adequacy test.”
It's a pity, it would be wonderful. After all, you cannot predict what awaits you ahead! Everything in a relationship goes “slowly and surely,” as in Talkov’s song, and suddenly something unplanned happens... And you understand that the corners of inadequacy were waiting in the wings.
6. Men are irritated not by women's clothes, but by the way they are worn.
Lingerie advertised by Victoria's Secret models does not guarantee that it will look the same on you if you are 6 sizes larger. It’s the same with all sorts of expensive fur coats. Just in total, if you were pawned in a pawn shop along with your sables, they could ask for a large sum of money for you.
7. Yes, a man can love several women at once in different ways.
Imagine an ideal relationship with an ideal woman in the form of a beautiful, delicious pizza. So, you open the box, and suddenly a small piece is missing. This is the hell of a perfectionist! It seems delicious, but still the mood is not the same. (Laughs)
8. When falling in love with a beautiful woman, a man must understand that he is seeing the result of a lot of work, invested money and time.
In addition to natural abilities, these are sports, nutrition, makeup, manicure, heels... And it is clear that it is impossible to maintain this bar all your life, 24 hours a day. But a man wants this... After all, you have already seen the best version and, as Noskov sings: “I don’t agree to anything less.”
9. A woman can change a man’s attitude towards himself.
It is very important to see in the eyes of the woman dear to you that you have done something significant. When your loved one supports you (of course, not with blissful exclamations of “oh, how great you are!”), you feel self-confidence, strength to move on... And you reach a new level.
10. When the woman you love leaves, you feel like a piece of your life has been taken away from you.
And this hole has to be filled with something: work, friends, sports. It’s hard for me to break up: a period of illness begins - and I still have to live to see rehabilitation. The next stage is coming when everything will have to start again.

Childhood and youth
Dmitry Aleksandrovich Koldun was born in Minsk in the summer of 1985. His family was the most ordinary, his parents were teachers working at school. They could not even imagine that their sons would gain fame far beyond the borders of their native country.

As a child, Dmitry wanted to become a doctor, diligently studied biology and went to a specialized gymnasium. No one really understood why the young man suddenly decided to change his field of interest. Perhaps this was facilitated by the beginning career of brother George, who was already working at the club at that time and joining show business circles.

One way or another, during the initial courses, Dmitry abandoned his studies at the Belarusian State University and began his musical biography.
Birth of a daughter
In April 2016, information appeared on social networks that the popular singer became a father for the second time: a daughter was born into the young Sorcerer family. The newborn and her mother were in Minsk, where the baby was born, and the artist, for whom the birth of his daughter was a real happy event, was not immediately able to come to them due to work.
The star's wife successfully hid the fact of pregnancy until the last moment. But after the most difficult moment - the birth of his daughter - was left behind, the happy father generously shared his feelings on Instagram. As the Sorcerer told his fans, the world and his and Victoria’s life became like more sunshine.
The young mother, to the delight of the singer’s fans, who did not expect that their idol would have another child in such a short period of time, was literally bathed in the rays of the love of her husband, as well as the warm congratulations of his fans. They wished the woman and baby good health, great happiness and all the best. It is known that the girl, who was born healthy and strong (weighing 3200 g, height 51 cm), was named Alice.
Music and television
The general public recognized Dmitry Koldun in 2004. The aspiring singer becomes a participant in the show “People’s Artist - 2”. The musician did not win, but he reached the finals of the competition, and most importantly, he was remembered by the audience and became a recognizable singer.
After the show, Dmitry returns to Belarus and works for 2 years in the State Concert Orchestra of the Republic, continuing to pursue a solo career. The artist also actively participates in singing competitions and festivals “Molodechno-2005”, “Slavic Bazaar” and others.

In 2006, Dmitry Koldun goes to “Star Factory - 6”. While participating in the project, he performed the song “Still loving you” together with the legendary group Scorpions. The Sorcerer’s musical talent amazed foreign performers, so one of the best prizes for Dmitry was the invitation of soloist Klaus Meine to perform this song during their joint tour. After their joint performances, Scorpions gave their Belarusian colleague a guitar.
At the Factory-6 project, the artist achieved his goal and won. This achievement brought the Sorcerer even greater popularity. When the show ended, he signed a contract with the National Music Corporation. Dmitry became the lead singer of the group “K.G.B.”, which, in addition to the Sorcerer, included colleagues Alexandra Gurkova and Roman Barsukov. The name of the group was compiled from the first letters of the surnames. Soon the Sorcerer left the group and returned to solo performances.

In the same year, Dmitry auditions for the Belarusian selection for the international Eurovision contest. In 2007, he reached the finals of the song competition and took 6th place with the song “Work Your Magic”.
An excellent performance at Eurovision gave Dmitry Koldun’s career not just a boost, but a huge impetus. In 2007, the musician was invited to participate in the popular program “Two Stars”. He got actress Natalya Rudova as his partner. The couple performed the popular hits “Wind of Change”, “Summer Rain”, “Tequila Love”.

At the same time, the artist receives the prestigious Golden Gramophone award for the song “Give me strength” and becomes the winner of the “Sexy M” rating.
Dmitry was not forgotten in the Scorpions group, and in 2008 the artist and his band performed as the opening act for a concert of foreign celebrities in Minsk. The sorcerer continues to be actively involved in show business and participate in television shows. In the same year, he released 2 video clips: for the solo song “Princess” and for the composition “Perhaps,” which he performed together with his brother Georgy Koldun.

It’s not only show business that takes up Dmitry Koldun’s time. In 2008, the artist played the main role in the rock opera “The Star and Death of Joaquin Murrieta.” The premiere went well, but the next time the Sorcerer appears on stage a year later at a performance in St. Petersburg.
2009 was a fruitful year for the artist. The sorcerer manages to open his own recording studio, perform at the Kinotavr festival, and also give his first solo concert, which was held in the city of Korolev and was a success. He was then nominated as "Hit Radio Artist" in the "God of the Air" music awards.

Dmitry released his first album “Sorcerer” and in the fall of 2009 presented a new program in Moscow and Minsk. The debut album included 11 songs: “Dream Angel”, “Bad News”, “I Love You” and others. In December, the singer went on a tour of Belarus in support of the album.
One after another, clips for the Sorcerer’s songs “The Room is Empty”, “Ships”, “Nothing” and “Tramp Clouds” are released.

In 2012, a second album entitled “Night Pilot” was released, and a year later, without wasting any time, Dmitry supplemented the discography with a CD entitled “City of Big Lights”.
Also in 2012, Dmitry received the role of the namesake musician in the film “20 Years Without Love.” In 2013, director Sergei Chernikov shot a documentary film “Dmitry Koldun” about the life and work of the artist.

In the spring of 2014, Dmitry Koldun took part in the musical parody show “Just the Same” on Channel One. The singer reached the finals, but did not win, which may be why he returned to the project 2 years later. In the summer of 2014, Dmitry appeared in another television show - the intellectual show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” The musician was paired with singer Irina Dubtsova. Dmitry began to often appear on television in entertainment programs. In the fall of the same year, he was invited to the “HIT” project, and the musician also took part in the release of the mystical TV show “Black and White”.
On September 28, 2014, the Sorcerer presented a new song “Why,” the music and lyrics for which were written by Elena Rodina. Adelina Sharipova played in the video released for this composition.

In 2015, the musician recorded a new album, “Mannequins.” Two new songs by the artist entered the charts that year: “Blizzards” and “I will love you.”
In December 2020, Dmitry presented the single “When I Loved You.” The title of the new song echoes the track from the musician’s first album – “I Love You”.

In January 2017, the performer gave a live concert at the “Murzilki LIVE” show. In February of the same year, he performed in St. Petersburg with the “Mannequin” program in support of the new album. On March 30, the Sorcerer presented the song “Angel” at a creative evening of singer Olga Ryzhikova.
At the “Main New Year’s Concert 2018”, Dmitry performed the soundtrack of the melodrama “Slumdog Millionaire” in a duet with Jasmine.

For Valentine's Day, the artist recorded a musical gift - the song “Let's Play at Love.” As the author of the music said, there were no problems with the selection of words; he immediately turned to Irina Sekacheva, with whom he has been collaborating since 2008. Irina writes for Angelika Agurbash, the Serebro group, Grigory Leps, Irakli Pirtskhalava.
Wedding
The young singer and his wife try not to allow prying eyes into their private life. There were no representatives of the press at one of the most important events for all lovers - marriage and wedding. This day was especially exciting for Victoria - after all, she had to go through doubts that it would really come. It is known that the number of guests at the celebration did not exceed thirty people - these were the closest relatives and friends of the newlyweds. In recent years, a secret marriage without much pomp has become a feature in the relationships of many stars who are trying their best to hide from the press.
The wedding ceremony of the Sorcerer and his chosen one took place in their native Minsk and was very modest. The celebration was held on the shore of a picturesque reservoir at the Robinson Club (helicopter club). The newlyweds did not want to arrange a day that would cement their feelings for many years as a social event, so they invited only twenty-six people to the wedding. On the groom's side, the wedding was attended by: mother Tatyana Borisovna, older brother Georgy Koldun (a famous TV presenter) and his girlfriend. Guests from the bride's side were also few: only parents and a few friends.
Eyewitnesses describe the ring exchange ceremony as quite colorful and theatrical: the young couple exchanged white gold rings directly on stage. Then the husband presented the guests with his song “Princess”. According to those present, the tables were laden with a variety of delicacies: here you could see red caviar, salmon, cheese and meat from the grill. The decoration of the table was a specially prepared calf; there were also pancakes and various dishes of Belarusian and European cuisine, including the obligatory potato “sorcerers”. Among the drinks, the guests remembered French champagne and the famous Georgian wine. In addition, guests were treated to real Italian wines, rum, vodka and whiskey. The final chord of the holiday was a grandiose fireworks display.
Personal life
The artist’s personal life is ideal for a show business star. Since school, the Sorcerer dated Victoria Khomitskaya, who in 2012 became the singer’s official wife. His wife gave Dmitry two children: in 2013, a son, Ian, and 3 years later, a daughter, Alisa.
The Sorcerer’s father was not strict, but, as he himself defined it, meticulous. If it is necessary to influence a child, economic sanctions apply - a toy is taken away or, conversely, an incentive is given.

The family prefers to live in Minsk, although the singer bought an apartment in Moscow. It’s easier for an artist to create in his homeland, and in the capital of Russia it’s easier to solve technical issues.
At the beginning of 2014, Dmitry Koldun registered on Instagram. The singer regularly publishes personal and work photos, which attract tens of thousands of subscribers.

In one of his first interviews, the celebrity admitted that he is an introvert by nature, tolerates loneliness calmly, and even loves silence. I haven’t been to parties and don’t plan to:
“Going to the presentation of some vermouth in a new bottle in order to wait for someone to take your photo there is beyond the bounds. I’d rather get busy with something.”
There are no friends close enough to share problems. Dmitry's father and mother separated when his son was 7 years old, and the Sorcerer got used to digesting everything inside, which caused a lot of worry to his loved ones.
Development of a relationship
It is known that the Sorcerer and his future wife began dating during their school years, at the age of 15 and 16. Over the years, their relationship has often been seriously tested. Journalists actively covered the period when the family life of the young singer and his wife Victoria Khomitskaya could have ended rather ingloriously.
We were talking about the time when the singer, who was then just beginning to build a career, had to move from the Belarusian capital to Moscow. Victoria Khomitskaya was kept in Minsk by her own work. A life in two cities began, which, according to the girl, gave her a lot of anxiety. Victoria Khomitskaya feared that her lover would be drawn into the temptations of the world of show business, and they would have to part. As they wrote in the media, the lovers even decided to suspend their relationship for a while. But as soon as Dmitry once again arrived in his hometown, their romance resumed.
In 2011, the Sorcerer proposed to his chosen one, delighting her, among other things, with a valuable gift - a diamond ring. A year later, the young couple were already married.

The Sorcerer spent the end of 2018 on tour, managed to perform at Moscow Day, in Crimea as part of the “Russian Radio Stars” tour, and sang with Polina Gagarina, Yegor Creed and a number of other Russian performers at the PaRUS festival in Dubai. Then he showed his son Berlin and Dresden.
To congratulate fans on the New Year 2020, Dmitry, in the company of Alexander Panayotov, Yulia Savicheva, Rodion Gazmanov and Natalia Podolskaya, performed the song “Good evening, Moscow.”

The singer was unable to rest during the holidays; at the Major League award ceremony, the Sorcerer admitted that he had planned 10 concerts for the holidays. Now the artist is a welcome guest at corporate events, City Day, and group performances of colleagues. Dmitry does not disclose the amount of the fee, although concert agencies claim that the customer will have to fork out €10 thousand.
Either jokingly or seriously, the Sorcerer said that in 2027 he would like to appear on the Eurovision stage again, with such a solid, wise experience and life. So that it would be something like the appearance of George Clooney, or maybe something light, “in an octopus suit.” Alexander Rybak and Dima Bilan took their repeat performance very seriously.

Dmitry is working on his 5th full-fledged studio album, which, unlike the previous ones, contains more positive and life-affirming songs. The Sorcerer does not want to succumb to the influence of fashionable rap under any circumstances. Hip-hop is music for young people, and he is not at that age to do it.

He associates this period with the desire to devote himself to show business. This was largely facilitated by brother Georgy, who had already put together his own group.
A big surprise was the news that Dmitry Koldun was becoming a participant in the second season of the “People’s Artist” program. The biography of this assertive young man contains facts that characterize his passion for music against the background of “illness.” This is exactly how those around him responded. Dmitry constantly improved his skills, worked seven days a week, dreaming of getting to the top. The Rossiya channel showed the People's Artist program in 2004. It was far from widespread recognition. He collaborates with the Belarusian Concert Orchestra, participates in the Slavic Bazaar, and represents his country at the Eurovision qualifying contest.

It’s understandable: talented, handsome, single. Information from his childhood gets into the press. It becomes known that the Sorcerer's creative potential is not limited to music.
