Height, weight, age. How old is Kostya Tszyu
At the global level, Konsti Tszyu’s star lit up back in the mid-80s. Three decades have passed since then. The boxer has not been in the ring for a long time. He trains young sports stars. Since 2011, the star has been working in Russia. Numerous boxing fans are interested in everything that concerns a man, including the boxer’s height, weight, and age. It is difficult to determine how old Kostya Tszyu is, since he looks much younger than his biological age.
In 2020, the athlete will celebrate his 50th birthday. But from the looks of it, it’s hard to give him more than 40-45 years old.
Kostya Tszyu, whose photos in his youth and now are practically unchanged, pays attention to his diet. He trains for several hours every day in the gym. This allows him to be in good athletic shape, despite the end of his sports career.
The Boxer is always calm, focused and smiling. With a height of 170 cm, his body weight is 60 kg.
Family and Children
Kostya Tszyu has always been an exemplary family man. Despite the difficulties and problems, the boxer always devoted time to his wife and children. The Russian champion was the father of many children. He has 5 natural children and 1 adopted one.
The life path of every professional athlete is filled with many difficulties and problems. One of the important factors of mental and physical health is the support of relatives. At the age of 46, the athlete suffered a heart attack from high cholesterol levels in the blood. He needed surgery. Thanks to insurance, it was free. It was in these difficult moments that Kostya’s family’s help became invaluable.
The eldest son Timofey Tszyu was born on November 2, 1994 from his first wife Natalia Tszyu. The first son was very similar in character to Konstantin in his early years, so it was Timofey who inherited his father’s athletic talent. The young boxer began training under the guidance of Konstantin from an early age. His grandfather always helped him with his physical development, so the boy grew up in a strict training regime.
After graduating from school, the young man entered college. After receiving higher education, Timofey decided to continue his sports career. Now the young athlete lives with his family in Australia. The son of Kostya Ju competes in the middleweight, occupying 110th position in the world boxing rankings.
The second son Nikita Tszyu was born in 1995 from his first wife Natalia. The boy followed in the footsteps of his father and brother and began trying boxing at the age of 2. Nikita studied well at school and at the same time trained hard under the guidance of his grandfather. After graduation, the guy did not connect his life with professional sports, but continues to perform in the amateur ring. Nikita is also interested in football, although he remains faithful to boxing.
Alexander (Vladimir) was born in 2020 from the second wife of boxer Tatyana Averina. The youngest son became a rather late child in the family. Konstantin is a caring father, he tries to help his son at any of his requests. It is worth noting that the legendary boxer protects his son from television cameras. Even years later, journalists were unable to find out which of his real names was Alexander or Vladimir. The boy has not yet chosen his sporting path, but he can often be found with his father in the training ring.
Nikita Averin was born in 1999. He became the adopted son of Constantine. The guy quickly found a common language with the boxer, because they share common interests. At his mother's wedding, Nikita was the guest of honor. The guy graduated from high school with honors and entered the economics department at the institute. The boy helps his stepfather in the business of organizing children's boxing sports complexes.
The eldest daughter Anastasia Tszyu was born in 2002. Her mother was Natalia Tszyu. The athlete hid his daughter from journalists and fans for a long time. Nastya lives with her family in Australia. The girl is very attached to her mother, so she helps her in everything. Nastya often visits her father in Russia, because he often misses his daughters. Kostya’s daughter studies in Australia and has good knowledge of the humanities. She has been involved in gymnastics for many years, showing good results in competitions.
Victoria Tszyu is the youngest child in the family. A girl was born in 2020 from Tatyana Averina, the mother of his two sons. The girl received the name Victoria for a reason. From the first days of her life, it became clear that the daughter had adopted her father’s character. Konstantin tries to devote a lot of time to his daughter. Their favorite activity is walking outside. In appearance, Victoria is similar to her mother, but she received her activity and capriciousness from her father. And this gives the child the opportunity to develop in various sports fields.
Natalia Tszyu, ex-wife, met her future husband in her youth, when he did not yet have much popularity. They met on vacation in a cafe. The young girl immediately liked the boxer. Within six months, the young couple decided to get married. The marriage took place in 1993. After 12 years it broke up. Although Natalia's mother, Valentina Anikina, tried to try on the family again, her attempts were unsuccessful. The reason for this was misunderstanding and lack of love between the couple.
Tatyana Averina appeared in the boxer’s life immediately after the divorce. Journalists even wrote about the betrayal. Tatyana confirmed that she had known Kostya for more than 3 years, but there was no talk of any betrayal, since before the official dissolution of the marriage, Natalia and Konstantin had not lived together for several years. The boxer met Tatyana in a bar. After a short conversation, he realized that she was his future. Currently, the couple is legally married and has 3 children.

Zab Judah: “The defeat by Kostya Tszyu sobered me up”
34-year-old Zab Judah reached an agreement in principle in Moscow to hold a fight with Russian boxer Khabib Allahverdiev. The five-time world boxing champion spoke in an exclusive interview with Izvestia about the purpose of his visit to Moscow, the fight with Kostya Tszyu and the most difficult fights in his career.
“I had a business conversation with promoter Vladimir Khryunov, during which we decided that if Allahverdiev can defeat Kendall Holt, then I will meet him in Moscow.
— Is there already a specific proposal from Khabib’s manager?
- Yes, the contract is on my table. All that remains is to discuss the details.
— How was your meeting with Kostya Tszyu? You haven't seen him for 10 years - since your defeat.
“We met like old friends.” I apologized to him for the words I said in the heat of the moment. I have a lot of respect for Kostya. Yesterday I had dinner with his family. I hope we will have good friendly relations.
— The defeat from Kostya was the first in your champion career. What happened in that fight?
“I dominated the entire first round, landing several great jabs on him. During the break, my father told me - don’t play with him, he’s a very dangerous opponent. But I was young and ardent, I stepped forward and paid for it. I considered myself a great champion, but I just had to get into the ring and do my job.
— Have you tried organizing a rematch?
- Certainly! We tried to do this, but it didn't work out. But you know, I’ll tell you honestly - after that I made a lot of conclusions for myself. I overestimated many things in my life.
— Did the defeat to Tszyu break you?
“It didn’t break me, but helped me look at life soberly.” After all, this is a five-time world boxing champion sitting in front of you - and I won most of these titles after losing to Tszyu.
— Roy Jones and James Toney have already fought in Russia. Did you ask them about Moscow?
“I don’t need to consult anyone about Russia. I'm from Brooklyn, there are a lot of Russians there. And among them I have very good friends.
— You are only 34 years old - this is an excellent age for a boxer. What goals do you set for yourself?
- Become a six-time world champion. I do what I love, I like my job!
— What fight in your life do you remember most?
— I was 15. Fight with Nikki Ward. It was one of the hardest fights of my career. He hit my ribs so hard that if he had hit them again, I would have collapsed in the ring! My most uncomfortable opponent is Mayweather. The guy knows how to move, he is very fast, very fast! He is very clever! And the strongest blows were from the Argentine Lucas Matthysse! When it hit me in the shoulder, I winced in pain and thought - damn, what will happen if it hits me in the head! I won this fight, but it wasn't easy.
— Do you remember your first fight in your life? What caused it?
— I grew up in Brooklyn, in a very poor area. There you have to fight. If you don't know how to fight, you won't live! I fought 110 fights as an amateur and 53 as a professional, but believe me, I fought a lot more on the street!
— What did you buy with your first fee?
- Jeep. I was still in school at the time and it was really cool! You know, boxing has given me so much in my life. I owe this sport a lot!
— You became a world champion at 21. Did you take the multimillion-dollar fees calmly?
- Of course not! They took my head off! I fought Kostya Tszyu when I was 22. I lost. But you know, when they told me about this, I answered - guys, I’m rich! I spent a lot of money on everything I could! At one time I had 11 cars - Lamborghini, Maybach, Bentley. I love watches - it's my weakness. I have about 10 watches worth about $250 thousand each. You know, I once lost $230 thousand betting on a basketball game. Many of my friends played on the team I bet on. But they lost. After this match I wanted to beat every single one of them! I don't root for this team anymore!
— Many athletes don't want their children to follow in their footsteps.
- I have two sons. One is 15, the other is 3. The youngest wants to become a boxer. My father is a boxer. And if my son comes to me and says - dad, I want to become a boxer, teach me - no problem. But I will never force him to box!
— Who supports you in fights?
- All my family! My grandmother is 80 - she goes to every fight I have!
— Your idol in the ring?
- Mike Tyson. He is the best of the best. For all time. This is my close friend, he is like a brother to me.
— What was your first fee?
- $10 thousand... Well, then more, more and more. I was 17 years old.
— And the biggest?
- A lot of. So many. Around 10 million

Many people note that Timofey is strikingly similar to his father - literally the same face. The guy is studying at the university, and in the future he plans to do business. Like his famous father, Tszyu Jr. is involved in boxing.
