Nikita Kiosse: I want to try everything!

Ukrainian Bieber Nikita Kiosse was visiting the Observer. However, an hour of press conference was not enough to answer almost 700 questions that fans sent to our editorial office. Therefore, Nikita answered those questions that we did not have time to ask on air later.

-You live in Kyiv yourself, your parents remain in Russia, but who cooks for you and where do you eat?

Nikita Kiosse: I like to cook myself, but lately it happens that I just eat at McDonald’s. Fortunately, I don’t have to worry about my figure, I don’t know how this happened, but no matter what I eat, I remain skinny (smiles).

-You work with a producer and you have a contract with its director. How stringent are the demands placed on you?

N.K.: I don’t have any strict conditions. I have a good, understanding producer Inna Moshkovskaya. She is the director of a production company, and for me she completely became a second mother.

I'm lucky, my producer always supports me and understands me.

-How did you meet your producer?

N.K.: Our meeting took place in Artek at the Junior Eurovision final. I took 4th place in the competition, but at that time she had already made the final decision that something could come of me.

-This year Nastya Petrik won Junior Eurovision and the next competition will be held in our country. Are you going to take part in the selection for the competition next year?

N.K.: I think so. Although recently Eurovision has become a more or less distant competition for me. I don't particularly follow the participants. And in general, I’m already confused about the plans, they change often, so I won’t make any plans.

-Are you going to go to Sweden and root for Zlata Ognevich?

N.K.: It all depends on my schedule, but, of course, it would be interesting. I have not been to such events yet, and I would like to see how everything happens.

-You took part in several selections for Junior Eurovision, Junior New Wave and became a finalist in the show The Voice.Children. They say that in such projects, opponents play dirty tricks on strong competitors. Has this happened to you?

N.K.: Well, I can’t say that they were especially nasty, but it was immediately clear who was treating me and how. But fortunately, at all the competitions I made more friends, many of whom I communicate with to this day. I made especially many friends after the national selection for Junior Eurovision.

Many of them have been trying to get into this competition for years, but they also participate in other projects, so we often overlap.

-Do you do choreography, because it is important for a young artist not only to sing well, but also to dance beautifully.

N.K.: Yes, I was intensely involved in dancing before the show “The Voice.Children,” but then there was not enough time for everything. I used to be fond of braiding, but now I’m trying to regain my dance form. But everything is still clumsy (laughs).

-What social networks are you on?

N.K.: I’m not on Odnoklassniki, but I’m on VKontakte, Facebook and Twitter. I’m also on Instagram, but I don’t use my own name there, I just like to look at photos. In general, I have a lot of fakes on social networks and I don’t really like it.

-Did you communicate with any of your fans on Skype?

N.K.: No, this communication is very mediocre. I think this could be some kind of trauma for the fans, because I can’t talk to everyone, and singling out one would mean offending another.

-Do you often go to your VKontakte group?

N.K.: Very often, now I’ll try to write there even more often. In the group we hold competitions, so you can win some of my things. But at this rate, I’ll soon be left without a wardrobe: I’ve already given away my favorite scarf, I’ve given away my bracelet... (smiles).

-Do you like jewelry?

N.K.: It all comes down to time, I don’t have time to go shopping, so I don’t have many accessories. I was recently given a bracelet, I really like it, I wear it every day. In general, I prefer accessories made of leather and metal.

-How would you spend your day if you knew it was your last?

N.K.: Lord... I would try to try everything that I haven’t tried yet...

-Even drugs?

N.K.: No, it’s probably not... Although the last day... who knows, who knows (laughs).

-What qualities should a person have to become your friend? And how many friends do you have?

N.K.: Responsiveness and trust are important to me. I actually have a lot of real friends. I'm lucky, I can laugh with them and cry with them. I probably have 4-5 such close friends.

-What did you dream of as a child?

N.K.: I dreamed of entering a radio engineering institute and becoming an engineer or programmer. My dad still reminds me of this. And now I’m funny, what was I dreaming about? (smiles)

-What languages do you speak?

N.K.: I speak English, not quite fluently, but I can explain myself abroad.

-How important is the age of the girl you are interested in dating?

N.K.: In fact, there are no restrictions or boundaries for love. Love is submissive to all ages and generations.

-What is your favorite movie?

N.K.: The list of my favorite films has recently increased to one hundred. Every evening my friends and I watch some kind of picture. The last movie I saw was The Pursuit of Happyness, and I think it's Will Smith's best movie. To be honest, while I was watching it, I cried.

-How much time do you devote to your appearance, how do you take care of yourself?

N.K.: I don’t go to any salons, I just try not to put any nasty things in my mouth (laughs). You need to eat right, although I don’t always succeed.

- Don’t your fans take revenge on you, for example, because you don’t always pay attention to them?

N.K.: Sometimes they write: “you’re a goat,” but I’m not offended. They're just trying to get attention. I’m sorry that someone is offended that I don’t have time to respond and write to everyone. Understand, I simply physically cannot do this.

-Are you baptized?

N.K.: Yes, I believe in God, but I really don’t like the church. Many people talk about the voice of God. But I don’t like this blasphemy - the worship of icons. I believe that if a person believes, then he believes in his soul. Well, besides, I don’t like getting up early. It's generally hard to wake me up.

-Who do you love more: cats or dogs?

N.K.: I really love cats! I especially like the munchkin breed, these are cats with short legs, they are so cute! But artists are not recommended to have pets. For pets, it is a trauma when the owner is often not at home. You can’t explain that you have concerts, tours, filming...

My friend Rostik from the duet “Emotion” has a dog and when he leaves, she misses him terribly.

In an effort to give their child as much as possible, at the age of 7, Nikita’s parents enrolled Nikita in the “Constellation of Good” musical theater, where the boy, who preferred skateboarding and football, received classes in dance, vocals, music and stagecraft. Nikita Kiosse: the path to success At first, he went to the theater with reluctance, but soon he became inspired by singing, dancing, and other disciplines. Further - more: he himself demonstrated excellent musicianship and stage presence. He took part in many concerts of his group, including a performance at the international children's creativity competition “Sunny Bunny”.

In 2010, at one of the vocal shows, pop artist Svetlana Svetikova, who was sitting on the jury, heard him sing. The singer liked Nikita so much that she sang a duet with him. “In this 12-year-old from Ryazan, I saw myself in my youth. I also performed at children’s competitions, but I didn’t have any support,” said Sveta.

Nikita Kiosse and Sveta Svetikova (“Sunny Bunny 2012”) At the age of 12, the talented teenager found himself on the stage of the Moscow Operetta Theater. He got the role of a ghost boy in the Broadway-level musical The Count of Monte Cristo, which became the record holder in Russia for the longest run. The aspiring artist took his first fee to his parents.

Childhood and youth

Nikita Kiosse was born on April 13, 1998 in Ryazan. His father is a football player, and his mother works as a doctor in a hospital. At one time Nikita lived with his grandmother in Chernivtsi. Subsequently, the guy appeared in Ukraine more than once, taking part in vocal competitions.

Nikita Kiosse as a child
In Ryazan, Nikita attended the musical theater “Constellation of Good”. Here he spent all his free time after school, so his boyish street hobbies eventually faded into the background. A talented teenager, who had proven himself by participating in many creative competitions, was invited to the Moscow Operetta Theater, where he appeared on stage in the musical “The Count of Monte Cristo” for 2 years.

After graduating from the 9th grade as an external student, Nikita entered Oleg Tabakov’s Moscow College, but was later forced to leave school due to career development. During his studies, he worked as a backup dancer for many famous Russian pop performers: Sergei Lazarev, Irina Dubtsova, and the A-Studio group.

“Junior Eurovision” and “The Voice”

Periodically, the young vocalist visited his grandmother in the city of Chernivtsi (Ukraine), where he continued to develop his musical abilities. In the summer of 2012, he participated in the national qualifying rounds of Junior Eurovision in Artek, where he performed the song “Icarus” in Ukrainian and took 4th place in the final selection. “Junior Eurovision 2012”: Nikita Kiosse – Icarus That day, his talent was appreciated by representatives of the Kyiv production center PARADIZ who were present at the event, and the public’s favorite received an invitation to study. Together with their mother they moved to Kyiv. There, highly qualified specialists took charge of Nikita, helping to reveal his creative potential and shape his musical taste and culture. Thanks to the acquired skills and support, Nikita got to the Children's New Wave festival held in Yalta, but he failed to win.

The next important step on his way to the musical Olympus was his performance in the vocal competition “Voice. Diti" from November 2012 to January 2013. His soulful rendition of Eric Carmen's "All by Myself" impressed both the audience and the judges. "Voice. Children": Nikita Kiosse - All by Myself He chose Tina Karol as his mentor. Under her leadership, the gifted performer reached the finals, wonderfully sang Okean Elsa’s song “Vіdpusti” (“Let Go”), but again did not win. However, he gained invaluable experience and gained a huge number of fans. About 80 fans attended his first fan meeting after the show. He rightly called his participation in the project the start of his professional career.

Kiossa had to finish ninth grade as an external student. Then he entered the theater college at the Oleg Tabakov Theater and, simultaneously with his studies, performed in concert shows as backup dancers with famous pop performers (A'Studio, Irina Dubtsova, Sergei Lazarev), and was a soloist in the trio “The Last Romantics.”

Carier start

As you know, a talented person is talented in everything. Thanks to his perseverance, the guy learned to dance well. This contributed to his being invited to work at Mosoperetta, where for 2 years Nikita played in the musical “The Count of Monte Cristo”.

After working in the theater, the boy continued to sing. He took part in the “Children's New Wave” and in the qualifying round for the “Junior Eurovision”. However, he failed to win any of these competitions. Soon the family moves to the capital of Ukraine, the city of Kyiv, where Kiosse becomes one of the participants in the show “The Voice. Diti." Under the guidance of his experienced mentor, he reached the finals, where he was again unlucky.

Nikita had to receive her school education as an external student. After graduating from 9th grade, he leaves for Moscow to enter college at the Oleg Tabakov Theater. In parallel with his studies at the theater, he participates in various shows as a backup dancer.

“I want to go to Meladze”

In the spring of 2014, the guru of domestic show business Konstantin Meladze announced the start of casting for participation in a new vocal competition - “I want to go to Meladze”. As a result of the competition, the winners were supposed to form a boy band under the mentorship of Meladze himself.

There Nikita Kiosse was seen by viewers of the show “I Want to Meladze”

Kiosse immediately realized that this competition was an excellent chance to apply for a professional career. He had to quit college, despite the fact that his family was categorically against such a decision.

He passed the casting for show talents, flawlessly performing the composition of the Ukrainian singer Ivan Dorn “Kissing Another”. He immediately joined Sergei Lazarev’s team, then made it to the finals of the song competition and became its winner, despite all the difficulties and vicissitudes. So, he had to perform in the semi-finals with the group “Factory”. Before the performance, an open can of pink paint fell on him, but this did not stop him from singing his part in the song “Flying Away” by the pop group A'Studio without losing his composure.

It wasn’t easy during the performance of James Arthur’s song “Impossible”. After all, it is difficult to sing with dignity and look beautiful while standing, without the ability to move, in some semblance of either a pedestal or a flower pot, as the number required.

However, having received extremely enthusiastic comments and approval from the public, he became a member of the created boy band MBAND. Four guys - Kiosse, Vladislav Ramm, Anatoly Tsoi and Artem Pindyura - became winners and received the most valuable prize for an aspiring singer - a contract with Meladze.

More music

Nikita Kiosse runs the official Instagram website regularly and spoils her subscribers with fresh news about her work. It is clear that he is a true professional in his field. This is not surprising, because he has had a serious relationship with music since early childhood. He took part in the qualifying rounds of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, where he was noticed by representatives of a prestigious production agency. So he got to the “New Wave” for children, held in Yalta, and Ukraine learned about the talented boy.

Nikita Kiosse's real Instagram is a very stylish blog, because he knows how to present himself and how to behave in public. Ukrainian version of the show “The Voice. Children" at one time brought him a new round of popularity. Each judge wanted to take him to their team, but he chose Tina Karol. It was not easy for all participants, because they were treated like adults, the workload was quite heavy, but our hero reached the finals. Now Nikita Kiosse on Instagram still maintains a high level of lifestyle.

The next step was participation in the project “I want to go to Meladze”. The parents were against it, since the young man did not yet have a full education (he had just entered college). But he stuck to his line and, as it turned out, he was right. There he came under the leadership of Sergei Lazarev, where he again successfully made it to the finals and became a member of the MBand group. In 2014, the song “She will return” became a real hit, receiving the coveted Golden Gramophone, and the video received a record number of views - more than ten million! Since then, photos of Mband on Nikita Kiosse’s Instagram and the latest news from the team appear constantly.

MBAND

During the grand finale of the show, the guys performed a new song, “She’ll Come Back,” written by their leader (Artem Pindyura also participated in writing the lyrics). Her single caused a real stir among the public, reaching heights in the charts of the CIS countries. A month later, in December 2014, a video filmed for this song appeared. Six months later, his number of views on YouTube reached 15 million.

MBAND - boy band of Konstantin Meladze

In February 2020, Kiosse, as part of the boy band, went on a tour, which began with their performance on Valentine's Day at the Olimpiysky Sports Complex as part of the Big Love Show festival.

In March, the 2nd single, “Give Me,” was presented to listeners. It was created by Meladze together with his wards - Nikita was the co-author of the text and music, Artem - the words. In May, the premiere of the third single by the master, “Look at Me,” took place. A month later, a video for this song was released, filmed in the Ukrainian capital. Nyusha participated in its production, and unexpectedly Meladze himself appeared in the role of a gardener. And again the singers enjoyed success, recognition, and a number of prizes and titles.

MBAND - Look at me On the occasion of the half-century anniversary of the birth of Valery Meladze, the boy band presented his song “Do it right now,” which was included in the gift disc.

At the same time, the program “One Day with MBAND” started on the STS Love TV channel. As part of this project, eight female fans of the group were given the opportunity to spend time with their idols.

8 girls spent time with their favorite band

In September, Nikita's fans could get acquainted with the next work of his group - “What do you want?” The composition was co-written: music was written by Dmitry Northman and Jussi Nikula (Finnish songwriter), lyrics by Meladze, Pindyura and Alisa Osenina. And the next month, the pop group’s first solo performance took place at the Moscow nightclub Bud Arena, broadcast on the STS Love channel.

The childhood of the future MBAND star

The boy's parents have nothing to do with the world of music. The young talent’s mother works as a doctor, and the guy’s stepfather trains the guys on the field and remains faithful to football all his life. Nikita’s mother divorced her father when he was still very young, but soon she remarried and took the surname of her second husband, Gavrilov. The son remained with his own father’s surname, perhaps for this reason rumors about the pseudonym Kiosse have not subsided to this day.

The guy’s first inclinations as an actor and impulse towards creativity began to appear in preschool age. Like all parents who want to give the whole world to their child, the mother and stepfather sent the boy to the world of art, which was unusual for a boy, and the choice fell on musical theater. While Nikita himself dreamed of football training and skateboarding, he had to attend classes in stagecraft, vocals, music and dancing.

From the very beginning, the young talent himself did not understand why he should go to classes in the children's theater and each time he went to lessons without much enthusiasm. But, after some time, teachers, family, and the boy himself noticed the first significant successes. Nikita began to enjoy the learning process, showed charm on stage and demonstrated musical talents. He was well received in the children's team and, together with other children, the boy took part in a variety of competitions, where they demonstrated their children's talents together with everyone else. The “Sunny Bunny” competition was just one of these. At one of these music festivals in 2010, Nikita met the famous singer Svetlana Svetikova. The pop star immediately noticed the young talent and even decided to sing with him. The duet turned out to be significant for both of them, because in this boy she saw herself at his age, and decided to support the rising star. According to her, she had no one to help at that time, so she could not help but contribute to the career of the talented Kiosse.

Nikita Kiosse

Already at the age of twelve, Nikita entered the Moscow Operetta Theater. Here he receives excellent acting training, thanks to the role of a ghost boy in the musical “The Count of Monte Cristo”. At that time, the musical was of Broadway level and broke all records for the duration of its run.

The most touching and interesting thing in this story is the fact that Nikita did not spend his first fee, but gave it to his parents.

Nikita Kiosse is not only good-looking, but also has some success in his studies. After graduating from tenth grade as an external student, he continued his acting studies at a college in Moscow under the guidance of Oleg Tabakov. After a while, his acting career required him to quit his studies, but the real “school” awaited Nikita in working with famous artists: Irina Dubtsova, Sergey Lazarev, the group “A-Studio” and other stars.

Personal life of Nikita Kiosse

The heart of the young sex symbol, who is often called the Ukrainian Justin Bieber, is still free. He is completely focused on his career and creativity. But this is official information, because as a member of a boy band he may be bound by a contract prohibiting him from advertising a romantic relationship. In the fall of 2020, the singer was caught at the premiere of the film “Fix Everything” - he communicated closely with blogger Maria Sokolova, and at the end of the evening he even kissed her.

Maria Sokolova is called Nikita Kiosse's girlfriend

After Vladislav Ramm left, Nikita became the most popular member of MBAND. By 2020, the number of his subscribers on social networks exceeded 50 thousand, and the number of “hearts” given to him reached 4.5 million. During performances in the project “Voice. “Children” showered him with toys, souvenirs and candy (at a meeting with fans, he once admitted that he loved sweets).

Nikita Kiosse voiced the main character of the cartoon “Nikita Kozhemyaka”

The singer calls himself a music lover, as he constantly listens to a lot of music. He especially likes Eric Carmen’s composition “All by Myself” about unrequited love, as well as Alexey Chumakov, Rolling Stones, Brian McKnight, “Elzy’s Ocean”.

He enjoys skateboarding, ice skating and snowboarding, and loves dancing and choreography.

On stage Nikita forgets about everything

According to the star, many girls admire him. He believes that a woman is the most beautiful thing that God could create, and each of them has a secret and something special.

Friends call Nikita Kisa - not only because of his surname, which is consonant with this word, but because of his ability to purr like a real cat.

In April 2020, the young performer made his film debut. His debut was the role of the romantic comedy “Fix It All”. By the way, their single of the same name became the soundtrack to the film. According to the plot, the members of a pop group end up in the breakup of the group. They owed money to a media personality named Zvezda, played by Nikolai Baskov. Trying to find money without damaging their team, friends get involved in an adventure and try to find a way out while maintaining their dignity and authority.

In 2020, the Mband group recorded two studio albums. The first was released at the end of November under the title “No Filters”, the release of the second - “Acoustics” - took place at the end of December. The collections include songs by Nikita Kiosse and Artyom Pindyura. Some were co-written with Meladze or the producer himself.
