Polina Vorobyova was born into a very creative family: her parents are actors by profession. She was born in the northern capital of Russia - the city of Leningrad - on August 26, 1988. The future actress’s mother, Olga Samoshina, played in the well-known Liteiny Theater, and her father, Konstantin Vorobyov, played in the equally famous Fontanka Theater. However, Polina decided to devote herself to an acting career not from childhood, but only towards the end of her studies in high school. At first, her dreams included many professions that had nothing to do with acting: from an ice cream seller to an archaeologist. However, already at the age of fifteen, the girl starred in the popular film “The Italian” and learned all the delights of acting. This is what served as a powerful impetus for the final choice of profession.

The parents did not try to dissuade their daughter from following in their footsteps, but the girl also could not avoid their strict criticism. Whenever possible, they watch films and performances with Polina’s participation and give her their opinion about the work. It must be said that her parents do not always praise her; it is impossible not to listen to her father’s clear and concise comments. At the beginning of her career, Polina consulted with her parents regarding the choice of repertoire, but then she easily began to do it on her own.

Polina also owes her parents the fact that they taught her to use life’s “coordinate system,” that is, to clearly distinguish good from bad. This is what helps her when making difficult decisions.

Despite the fact that Polina Vorobyova has devoted herself to the acting profession for quite some time, she only graduated from St. Petersburg State Academy of Theater Arts in 2010. Alexey Vorobyov and Polina Maksimova are back working together! The music of the First was featured in the backstage of the new video “Crazy 2”.

— Lesha and I showed a certain relationship story, and people liked it: it went viral all over the world, collecting more than half a billion views on Facebook, they wrote to us on social networks that they were waiting for a continuation, and made parodies. And we took the liberty of making a second part! This is a multi-part clip, this has never happened before! - Polina shared.

The new hit is called “The Most Beautiful” and, according to Alexey, this song, a continuation of “Crazy,” is solved in a similar style, with the same tempo. As in the first video, Vorobiev is simultaneously the author of the text and music, screenwriter, director and actor.

— In this video everything becomes much more epic, because events must develop. Our prankster heroes continue to love each other, but also do not stop playing all sorts of dirty tricks. Here, however, there is a huge danger, because all the people who make sequels, after the first success, plan such a movement in the next clips that it turns out too much, with the prefix “re”. Therefore, I tried not to cross this line, and the ideas themselves turned out to be quite real! - said Alexey.

— From the outside, it may seem to someone that it’s easy: I came up with it myself, played it myself, and filmed it myself. But in fact, working directly in front of and behind the camera in the comedy genre is quite difficult: you don’t see yourself from the outside. In this case, I turn to Polina because I trust her professional opinion. We have an excellent creative tandem: we work together, helping each other, and often improve ideas right at the moment of shooting. The ending of the video, for example, came out of a joke: we walked bandaged from head to toe and laughed, and in the end I decided to film it that way!

The actress said that they have known each other for many years:

“I’ve known him for a long time, and it’s worth noting that Alexey in life and Alexey at work are two completely different people. Usually he is humorous and light-hearted, but on set he is strict, serious and demanding. And this commands respect! He is a true perfectionist!

Polina says that there were no such situations as in the video in her life:

“There is a purity of relationship in this, we don’t play vanilla and powdered sugar, everything is a little through the “cartoon” form, like in “Tom and Jerry.” If you show modern everyday realities, then no one will be interested: everyone has already seen enough in life.

— The main difficulties during filming were mainly due to the weather: the sun changed into clouds, it started to rain, we had to change the plan on the fly, move to other scenes. But we are looking for a way out, we are still working. This is great pleasure, this is creativity, this is gushing, this is a thrill! — the actress shared.

Doubles took part in the work, as some scenes were truly dangerous. However, Alexey, as always, performed many of the stunts himself. We asked the artist whether he thinks the new work will live up to fans’ expectations and whether it will eclipse the previous one:

— I am absolutely sure that any sequel will always be compared with the first part. Someone will say that “the first is better,” because that’s what they always say, but this is just a first impression. "Crazy Woman 2" is a great continuation of our story that makes you laugh and empathize, and will still continue to be watched. The story of the heroes is just beginning: it will become more and more interesting what will happen next to this crazy couple.
