Over 13 years of study, she was able to win many competitions, where she also felt the audience’s love and admiration for the first time.

Konshina Galina Pavlovna
Galina was born into a simple family. Already at school, she was actively interested in stage acting, played in school plays, and was involved in a theater group. The young actress’s favorite genre was parody. Literally everyone became her subjects: from famous performers like Claudia Shulzhenko, to neighbors and friends.
Galina continued to improve at GITIS, in the workshop of Vsevolod Ostalsky. During her studies, she met Yuri Nepomniachtchi, whom she later married. The two young people formed a fruitful creative union.
Their joint project “Theater of Little Comedies” toured the USSR with great success for almost a decade, but was closed in 1987 due to tightening censorship.
Galina also toured on her own, performing pop numbers. From 2007 to 2011, Konshina became a real celebrity, participating in the parody program “Big Difference.” During the period of separation from her first husband, when Galina had very little work, Yevgeny Petrosyan helped her, including her in his show, which partially restored her star status.
Personal life of Galina Konshina
Galina was married twice. She lived with her first husband, director Yuri Nepomniachtchi, for many years, they worked together and, in fact, built each other’s careers.
In the twelfth year of marriage, a son, Anton, was born into the family, but none of the spouses was going to give up work, so the boy initially grew up behind the scenes.
When the creative tandem of Konshina and Nepomniachtchi reached the peak of popularity, they began to be strictly censored, sometimes completely banned, and as a result, their traveling theater was actually closed. This could not but affect family relationships, and as a result, Yuri left. Galina was so upset by what happened that her legs were paralyzed.
In her own words, she came up to thank the musician and realized that she fell in love at first sight. A descendant of the Greeks, Alexander was fourteen years younger and Galina at first thought this was an obstacle. Nevertheless, they soon became a couple, got married and lived together for more than two decades.
They did not have children together; they raised Anton and Alexander’s daughter from her first marriage.
Interesting facts about Galina Konshina
- Galina was predicted to meet her second husband by a healer, to whom the actress was brought by friends. The psychic promised the woman that her troubles would end when she met a black-eyed man in a denim suit. Six years later, the meeting actually took place.
- Galina Konshina and Yuri Nepomniachtchi helped Semyon Altov gain well-deserved popularity. Artists began performing with miniatures of the author, and he was noticed.
Galina Kozhakina
Soviet and Russian theater and film actress.
KinoPoisk: https://www.kinopoisk.ru/name/347648
Galina Ivanovna Kozhakina was born on April 6, 1925, in Tsaritsyno, near Moscow, into a modest working-class family. Dad was an engineer by training and worked as a railway worker. Mom was a housewife and raised two daughters, of whom Galya was the eldest. At school, Galina studied well and was interested in literature and drama. She had a wonderful physics teacher who was a passionate theatergoer. For example, in order to get to the Moscow Art Theater for the famous “Days of the Turbins,” he went to the theater box office overnight to get in line for tickets. He instilled his crazy love for theater in his students, organizing a drama club at school. Basically, they staged classics - “The Inspector General”, “Woe from Wit” and other plays. As a result, thirty-eight artists graduated from the school where Galya studied. Among them was Galina Kozhakina.
STUDYING AT GITIS
After graduating from school, Galina had two choices - to enter either theater or architecture. Deciding that architecture was a more serious institution, she chose theater. The entire repertoire for Galina’s admission was staged by director Kaplin, who was also a graduate of the very school where Kozhakina studied. Together they prepared the fable “The Crow and the Fox,” which Galina read at the entrance exam. Having reached the third round, wanting to show her erudition, Kozhakina decided to change her repertoire and read the fable “Nose and Eyes” by the American fabulist Pambo. The famous Moscow Art Theater actor Orlov, who was present at the exam, asked Kozhakin to read “The Crow and the Fox,” since he heard it performed by Galina in the first round. This played the final role in admission - Kozhakina was enrolled. She studied with very good teachers - Geisley, Konsky, Raevsky. In graduation performances she played Anyutka in The Power of Darkness and Sima in Old Friends.
Galina still lived in Tsaritsino, and went to the institute every day by train. At that time there was a terrible famine, but GITIS students were given food cards, which helped them survive. Starting from her second year, Galina began to receive a Stalinist scholarship, which then amounted to 750 rubles.
MOVIE. START
While studying in her final year, Galina was invited to audition for the film “Precious Grains.” A few days later, Kozhakina was traveling by train to GITIS, with five rubles in her pocket. Suddenly, an old grandfather came into the carriage with an outstretched hand and asked: “Darlings, give me some food, I just got out of prison.” Taking pity on the old man, Galina gave him the last five.
As soon as Galina entered the threshold of the institute, her classmates immediately ran up to her: “They called you, you were approved for the role! Go urgently and sign the contract.” “Probably grandfather was an angel,” thought Galina. Kozhakina was approved for the main role, she signed a contract for 60 thousand rubles. Back then it was a fabulous amount. The film was shot in Leningrad, where Galina had to live for a whole year during filming.
THEATER LIFE
In 1947, Galina Ivanovna graduated from GITIS with honors and was invited to many theaters, including the Moscow Art Theater. But Mikhail Mikhailovich Tarkhanov friendly advised her not to go to work there, explaining that the Moscow Art Theater actresses play very few roles in their entire lives. Returning from filming in Leningrad, Kozhakina was accepted into the Satire Theater, where she worked for eight years and played eight roles, the most famous of which was Lyuba Bubenchikova from “Dowry Wedding.” The performance was a phenomenal success. Galina Ivanovna appeared on stage in this role five hundred times. She even took off her shoes, so she had to make new ones. In 1951, along with other participants in the performance, Galina Ivanovna received the Stalin Prize for this work. Moreover, initially she was not on the list of applicants; she was included later by Stalin’s personal order.
Once the Satire Theater was on tour in Saratov, they played the play “Wedding Journey”. One of the performers suggested moving away from the usual interpretations of the roles and playing everything in verse. And so, before going on stage, everyone began to compose them in order to play their role in the poems. In the end it all looked terrible. At the end of the performance, when the artists took their bows, a crowd of spectators gathered at the ramp, and everyone said to the actors’ faces: “Hack workers!” Returning to Moscow, Galina Ivanovna firmly said to herself: “That’s it, I’m leaving this theater. I will no longer allow my life to be given over to such “art.” In 1955, Kozhakina moved to the Central Theater of the Soviet Army, on the stage of which she played more than seventy roles.
"WEDDING WITH DOWRY"
But real fame came to the actress only after the premiere of Tatyana Lukashevich’s film “Dowry Wedding,” which was staged based on the famous performance of the Satire Theater directed by Boris Ravenskikh. The cheerful and perky Lyuba Bubenchikova, performed by Galina Kozhakina, remained in the memory of the audience for a long time.
It turned out that the name of Galina Kozhakina is associated primarily with this film, although the actress has dozens of roles behind her on the stages of the Satire Theater and the Soviet Army Theater, in which the actress has been working for more than fifty years. Over the years, Galina Ivanovna has not lost her charm and interest in life; in her eyes you can see the same sparkle and enthusiasm that we have been seeing on the screen for so many years in the eyes of Lyuba Bubenchikova from the film “Dowry Wedding.”
In 1959, Galina Kozhakina had another meeting with cinema. Director Mikhail Kalatozov invited the actress to play the role of Vera in his film “An Unsent Letter.” This was a big role in the script; filming was supposed to take place in Moscow, where Kozhakina’s character appeared as a teacher. Unfortunately, many of the location shootings were ruined, all the money was spent, so Kozhakina’s role was reduced to an episode. During the film, Kozhakina’s heroine Vera appears on screen several times in the memories of the hero Innokenty Smoktunovsky.
PERSONAL LIFE
The actress’s personal life was very happy. After graduating from GITIS, Galina Ivanovna married her teacher Platon Vladimirovich Leslie. And it happened like this. After the last lesson, Platon Vladimirovich asked Kozhakina to stay. “I don’t want to part with you,” he told her. “And I, Platon Vladimirovich, don’t want to.” “Let’s not break up?” - suggested Leslie. “Let’s do it,” Galina agreed. “Then I’ll come to your mom and dad on Sunday.” He came to Galina’s parents to ask for her hand. My mother really liked Platon Vladimirovich, but my father did not. The main reason was that Leslie was nineteen years older than Kozhakina. But Galina had already firmly decided for herself that she would become his wife. She stayed with Leslie. Later they got married and lived happily until their silver wedding. Soon after this, Platon Vladimirovich passed away. For more than thirty years, Galina Ivanovna has lived alone and sacredly remains devoted to her beloved husband.
In recent years, Galina Kozhakina has been involved in only one performance at the Russian Army Theater. This is a production of “The Heart Is Not a Stone.” There were no other roles for the elderly actress. In 2011, Galina Ivanovna retired.
The fate of Galina Konshina. I dream about unborn children
August 15, 2018
"Please, do not go. If you leave, I’ll throw myself out of the window,” famous actress Galina Konshina begged her husband on her knees. But her husband, director Yuri Nepomnyashchy, seemed to have been replaced.
It seemed that neither 18 years of marriage nor she herself existed for him anymore. Galina Konshina was 38 years old at the time, but she never managed to achieve great success in her career. She occasionally appeared in comedy programs and played in the theater.
Then she could not even imagine that great success and true love were still ahead of her.
Galina was a long-awaited child in the family. Before her birth, her parents had four sons, but they did not survive. My father was seriously wounded in the war, after which he went every year for treatment to a military sanatorium near Moscow.
Already as a child, she realized that she wanted to be an actress.
Galina was still in school when she came to play in the folk theater. There she met her first love - a young director, a graduate of the Shchukin School. He came to Barnaul to stage a play.
“The love was platonic, but crazy and passionate, like everything in my life,” the actress admitted. But the man was married. Many years later, he finally got divorced, and immediately began looking for Galina.
But when I found her, Konshina was already married and expecting a child.
The artist's first husband was director Yuri Nepomnyashchy. Galina studied at the acting department of GITIS, and Yuri just came out of the army and entered the directing department. They met on the collective farm, when their courses were sent “to potatoes,” and Nepomniachtchi almost immediately proposed his hand in marriage to Galina.
Soon they got married. Their son Anton was born only 10 years later. The actress admitted that she had had an abortion six times before. “I don’t blame anyone - I was bad myself. Once during the operation I almost died.
Immediately after graduating from the institute, Galina and her husband created the “Theater of Little Comedies”. With him they traveled throughout the former USSR, but soon the theater was closed. Nepomniachtchi wanted to open a new theater, and a woman appeared in his life who promised to help him in this matter.
Their relationship grew into something more, and she became Yuri's mistress. Galina learned from her friends that her husband was cheating on her, and she herself offered him a divorce. But the series of blows in the actress’s life did not end there.
After separating from her husband, Galina lost her legs, and she lay paralyzed in bed for six months.
Three years later they met again, when Konshina was invited to host Valentina Tolkunova’s concerts. Among the singer’s musicians was Alexander. They got together and never parted again.
Galina is 17 years older than her husband, but the age difference does not bother them at all. They have been together for 25 years.
Fame came to Konshina when she was already over 50. She was invited to a parody TV show, after which she became the favorite of millions of viewers. And directors began to actively invite her to their films. Today, the actress looks forward to the future with joy and is not afraid to dream. She is ready for new projects and film roles.
