But I rarely order anything: I constantly fly somewhere, so it’s easier for me to buy everything myself, especially since I like to try on clothes. I prefer not new things, because there are so many things in the world already, why make and buy new ones? In addition, I love all sorts of holes and scuffs. I lived in London for four and a half years, and the strange huge sweater I bought there at a flea market for two pounds is still with me, and I didn’t take anything from the new clothes I bought to Moscow. Ever since my post-teenage days, since the days of working at Afisha, my heart has been beating faster at the word “second-hand”, even if we are talking about Moscow ones. But I don’t go there because I already have a lot of clothes.

In London, no one cares about other people's appearance. People wear what they like

Most of all I love dresses, I have a ton of them: from COS, from vintage stores, from everywhere. Moreover, they all go well with sneakers. My purchases are a spur-of-the-moment decision, but when I try something on, I usually buy it. If I see that something suits me, I will buy it and immediately leave in it, and therefore I do not have things that I have never worn. My favorite shops are in the East End of London. The atmosphere there is much calmer than in Moscow, and you don’t think: “Oh, I seem to look bad, what should I buy to make it better?!” In London, no one cares about other people's appearance. People wear what they like. This calms me down, and I buy things that actually suit me, and not just in line with trends or someone else's opinion, or bought out of FOMO (*fear of missing out). And in Moscow I wear them later with the same mood.

Each participant in the Nike Women's Marathon of America receives a medal, which is always made by Tiffany. A fireman in a tuxedo hands it over at the finish line.
