The author and performer of singles that millions of listeners know, a singer who captivates with his sincerity and depth of feelings, the “male” half of the mega-popular group “Nepara”: it’s not hard to guess that this is Alexander Shoua. The success of his duet with Victoria Talyshinskaya was largely determined by his talent: he wrote songs and was an equal partner of Vika during the existence of the group. Now the group is actively performing again, Alexander and Victoria tour a lot, but Showa has long been engaged in a solo career, and quite successfully.
Who is involved in the “promotion” of singer and composer Alexander Shoua? Why do his songs (namely his, and not the Nepara group) rarely appear on iTunes? Why did he once unexpectedly announce the cessation of the existence of the Nepara duet, and what is the reason for the equally unexpected resumption of their cooperation? Is it true that he had an affair with Vika, and that the singer took Alexander away from his first wife? Alexander Showa has had a huge number of fans for many years, and they are concerned about the answers to both these and many other, no less “thorny” questions.
About childhood and youth
Everything in his life is extremely interesting - from his biography to his creative career. The first question that interests Alexander’s fans is where such a rare and beautiful surname comes from, what does it mean? Showa himself answered this question in an interview: “In our family there is a whole legend about how our surname was born.
She has Adyghe roots, and translated from the national language the word “showa” means “blood feud.” Allegedly, two young people were not allowed to get married, and according to the laws of the mountains, they started a fight and threw the offenders into the abyss. For this act, the guys were called “Showa”, and the surname stuck with their descendants.”

Adoring travel and motorcycles, he showed a passion for speed even before birth: baby Sasha was born to Maria Alexandrovna and Vyacheslav Alekseevich in a taxi car, on the way to the maternity hospital. And here is one more fact, although it is not directly related to Alexander’s biography: his mother’s maiden name is Blank, and she is the full namesake of Maria Alexandrovna Blank, the mother of Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov-Lenin. Although... who knows? Nothing in this world happens by chance, and maybe, in some mystical way, through this combination of mother’s last name, first name and patronymic, the artist acquired an irreconcilable and principled character?

Sasha was born in the Abkhazian city of Ochamchira back in Soviet times, when his native land was part of the Georgian SSR. There were many musicians in the family: dad played the guitar and drum very well, and my maternal uncle sang great. Already an adult and famous, Alexander Shoua quite seriously asserted: “I got my voice from my uncle!” At the age of four he began to study music - he learned to play the piano. At school, in the second grade, he was accepted into the children's musical ensemble "Anban", where the boy began to master drums and guitar. He was so talented that at the age of thirteen he applied to the Sukhumi Music School, and the teenager was accepted.

In some of his biographies there is another interesting detail: they write that little Sasha’s mother tied him to a chair so that he could sit and practice playing the piano for a long time. Showa was asked about this during an interview on Russian Radio in 2018, and he laughed. And then he answered: “Yes, it was like that, and I think my mother did absolutely the right thing in forcing me to play endless scales and etudes.” And then he added: “Based on the experience of my childhood, I categorically advise all parents: if you see a child has talent, but he is lazy, do not follow his lead! Insist, if necessary, force it, he will thank you for it later.”
Childhood
Perhaps Shoua owes his vocal abilities to his origin; many Abkhazians naturally have sonorous voices. But the environment played no less a role in the development of the future singer. Sasha was born and grew up in a musical family, his father played drums, his uncle played bass guitar, and both sang.
Arthur Best and Alexander Shoua at the presentation of a joint video
The boy, who spent a lot of time at their rehearsals, gained experience and was interested in music since childhood.
Already at 9 he performed as a pianist in the children's group "ANBAN". And at the age of 13 he entered the pop department of a music school in the capital of Abkhazia. Although it was not possible to complete my education, my knowledge and skills were useful during the period of cooperation with the Aramis group and when building a future career.
The beginning of adulthood and the first steps of a musical career
The outbreak of the conflict between Abkhazia and Georgia hit hard on the fate of thousands of families in both republics. The Shoua family did not escape this fate: parents and children were forced to hastily leave Abkhazia, they moved to Moscow. Like many other Abkhaz refugees, life in the capital was difficult for Alexander. To simply earn a living, he took on any job, eventually getting a job as a loader in a grocery store. He later talked about the period of 1992 (that’s when he ended up in Moscow): “I lived extremely poorly, I needed any job, and I didn’t disdain anything.”
youth…
“From rags to riches” - a well-known expression means that a once extremely poor person, if he begins to earn a lot, begins to show off, waste his money, and pretend to be an “aristocrat”. Alexander says: “This is definitely not about me, I haven’t jumped from rags to riches and never will. No matter how my financial situation changed, I always tried to live modestly. Yes, at some point I started making money, and good money, but I didn’t rush out to buy patent leather shoes and jackets with gold buttons.”
He did not manage to finish music school, and subsequently never received a full musical education. But this doesn’t mean anything: history knows many cases when artists have no specialized education at all, but are unusually talented and recognized all over the world. Alexander Shoua is just like that: if you don’t know, you’ll never say that his songs were written by a person who doesn’t even have a secondary musical education.
Alexander Shoua in his youth (left). 1993 Composition of the group "Aramis"
His life in Moscow changed for the better after meeting musicians from the Aramis group. Nikolai Kim, the head of Aramis, appreciated the merits of the talented young man and took the team to his place. Showa showed himself naturally as “a reader, a reaper, and a pipe player”: he worked in the group as a keyboard player and backing vocalist, and was involved in arrangements. The difficult life of a grocery store loader was left behind: Alexander began to earn good money and began helping his relatives with money.
The next significant stage in his life was when, at one of the club evenings, the young man met a representative. Having sunk into oblivion in 1998, the concern in the mid-90s was one of the six largest record labels, and Alexander accepted the offer to work there with delight - who would refuse to go abroad and try their hand at a well-known company? He leaves for Cologne, where in “Poligram” he did the same thing as before in Moscow: arrangements, backing vocals; He also began performing independently in nightclubs.
He was especially good at singing at the Globus club; the young man even performed his own songs in this establishment and gained his first independent popularity. But he wanted more than to perform in front of a dancing audience: even then he dreamed of listening to applause at concerts. PolyGram was not doing as well as before, and Alexander periodically tries to return to Moscow and find work there. Again nightclubs, parties, at one of which he met Victoria Talyshinskaya. This happened in 1999, but there were still three years left before they began performing together.
Career[ | ]
He was a backing vocalist, keyboard player and arranger for the pop group Aramis, then for some time he worked as a demo vocalist in Germany under a contract with PolyGram, one of the largest recording companies in Europe.
In 2002, together with Victoria Talyshinskaya, he created the duet “Nepara”.
In 2012 he began his solo career. The first song to get into rotation was “The Sun Above My Head.” Then the video “A Million Sounds” was released[3].
In 2013, he resumed his activities as part of the Nepara duet[4]. The first song of the newly reconstituted duet was “A Thousand Dreams”[5].
In 2020, Alexander Shoua released a solo album, “Your Voice,” recorded in 2012-2013[6]. In 2020, he received the “Chanson of the Year” award from the Russian radio station “Chanson”.
In 2020, he took part in the 3rd season of the show “Three Chords” on Channel One[7].
On September 19, 2020, the Nepara group finally broke up. Alexander Shoua is releasing his second solo album on this day.
At the beginning of 2020, he acquired the rights to the NEPARA brand.
In March 2020, he became a special guest of the TV show “Mask” on the NTV channel (in the guise of a Lion Cub).
Work in the duet "Nepara"
She is an actress of the Jewish theater “Lechaim”, he is a signed contract with “PolyGram” and sings in a German club, and their meeting at the birthday party of Vika’s husband (not the current one, but the first) did not in any way foreshadow the emergence of a brilliant musical union. They were simply asked in a friendly manner to sing together, which they did with pleasure. Who would have known that performing a few songs to entertain guests would result in a long and fruitful collaboration!
NEPARA - Another reason, 2003
The second time they crossed paths, as mentioned in one of the articles about “Nepara,” was at another birthday party—this time the birthday girl was Lada Dance. This was in 2002: some guests remembered their impromptu performance three years earlier, and again began asking to go on stage and sing. They both immediately felt, both Vika and Alexander: their duet was much more than just singing, they needed to unite and start performing together. Oleg Nekrasov, a famous producer who successfully worked with Leonid Agutin and the “Gradusy” group, was there at the celebration: a young man and a girl approached him with a request to help with “promotion”.
The success was so resounding that they almost immediately released a major studio album, Another Family. It instantly went platinum, and the song “Another Reason” became a hit. The co-author of the music for this single was Alexander Shoua, and he talked about the history of its writing: “Any of my songs is a reflection of the events that happened in my life, and this song is no exception.” But not only this composition from the album became mega-popular, each single was received by the fans of the group with delight and admiration. Even the cover of “Sunny” by the group “Boney M”, included in this collection, was extremely popular with listeners; it was included in the list of songs called “Autumn”.
Anyone interested in the duo's work knows the history of the name. They were so different: Alexander was a little boring, calm, punctual, and Vika was lively, noisy, and constantly late. Yes, they sang together brilliantly, but how difficult it was for them to interact during rehearsals and recordings! After their next quarrel, one of their colleagues exclaimed: “How are you going to perform? You’re not a couple at all!” Both liked the remark so much that it was taken as the name of the duet; they simply wrote “Nepara” in one word.
They fought and made up again, because they understood: they couldn’t stop there, once the “wave” of success began, they couldn’t relax and not live up to the fans’ expectations. The first disc sold well, they are releasing a second one, called “All over again.” The themes for all the songs were “banal”, but moments so close to the listeners: about fidelity and betrayal, about meetings and partings. They were in no hurry to record the third disc, “Doomed/Betrothed”: Alexander categorically did not want to “crash” in the pursuit of success, especially since the first two collections sold great.
Nepara – Cry and See
They released the last mentioned album in 2009, and another three years were devoted to active performances and touring. Videos were shot for the best singles; “Cry and See,” which had a touch of light eroticism, was especially successful. It’s interesting that Vika was very shy while filming explicit scenes, but Alexander, on the contrary, liked it: “When they filmed Cry and See, I gained some good acting experience.” After the release of this video, rumors that Victoria was having an affair with Showa only intensified (they started whispering about their close relationship at the very beginning of their performances). Everyone was sure: well, people can’t sing so sincerely about love if there is nothing between them!
Years later, both agreed to “lift the curtain” a little on this secret. Victoria was the first to announce the news: she opaquely hinted that yes, they had an affair, but it did not last long. Showa did not deny this, but did not directly confirm it. Their relatives and friends also cannot clearly comment on this question: did something happen between them or not? It is quite possible (not a fact, but the probability is very high) that they simply “stirred up” the rumors around them, but in fact remained colleagues and friends - only they know the truth.
The fact that there was nothing between them (or at all) in 2012 is certain, because Showa himself clearly explained the reason for going on a “single voyage”: “Our union has exhausted itself, and people who do not have a strong connections, continue to cooperate for a long time.” They did not quarrel in any way; most likely, they were simply tired of each other and of their shared glory. Alexander later admitted that his creative life became much more complicated after leaving Nepara. In an interview with the Gossip Chronicle project today, he said: “It’s much easier and more comfortable to exist in a team. “If you missed, you can blame it on your colleague, simply hide behind his back. Or close your eyes, pretend that you had nothing to do with some failure. Alone, I had to work very hard from the first days.”
Alexander is often asked if he and Victoria performed at corporate events - it’s no secret that corporate parties for many artists are the main source of income. “Nepara” has never been a “corporate” group,” he categorically stated many times. And he added: “From the very beginning we strived to be only a concert band.” Showa is sincerely convinced: “Corporate organizations spoil the soul and kill the desire to achieve greater success. No amount of money is worth the delight and applause of thousands of spectators that you receive at concerts.”
They worked separately for only a year, or rather, Alexander worked, Vika successfully married a second time, gave birth to a daughter, and was raising her. This year turned out to be quite fruitful for Showa: he wrote the composition “The Sun Above His Head,” which almost immediately hit the top lines of radio chats. He also shot music videos: the video “A Million Sounds” received a lot of positive feedback from his fans. Meanwhile, the songs of “Nepara” did not leave television and radio, and many fans did not even know that the duo had broken up. In 2013, they met by chance, Alexander invited Vika to start performing again, and she instantly agreed.
Everything turned out so naturally that for most fans, the period that “fell out” of their joint career seemed to have never happened. There were no more reasons for rumors about their romance: Vika is happy with her husband, Alexander is also happily married, raising a little daughter. They have resumed touring and are performing successfully. Alexander wrote almost no new songs for Nepara after their reunion. He explained it this way: “We have absolute hits that are very successful, fans know and love us, there is no need for new singles.”
He accepts with a smile that “green” youth are not very willing to listen to them: “This is natural, our songs are not for teenagers. But those girls who, more than ten years ago, said “Ugh!” to our songs, are now becoming the most devoted fans. Some of them have grown up, become wiser, while others have been a little beaten by life (breakups, divorces), and the themes of our singles have become closer to them.” He also says about “Nepara”: “We are like a box in our fans’ collection of memories. Life goes on, something changes for the worse or for the better, but the memories remain with them, and we too are nearby.”
Group "Nepara"
The brightest pages of Alexander Shoua’s creative biography are associated with his participation in the duet “Nepara”. Victoria Talyshinskaya recalls that for a long time they could not come up with a name for their group. One day, producer Oleg Nekrasov, who witnessed another quarrel between the partners, said that they were not a couple or a duet at all, since they could not come to an agreement. The artists laughed and decided that they should be “Nepair”.
Still from the clip
The duo's popularity grew rapidly; their first album, released in 2002, went platinum. 4 years later, the album “All over again” was added to “Another Reason”, and in 2009 the duo’s discography was replenished with the album “Doomed/Betrothed”.

The group toured Russia and foreign countries, drawing full houses at concerts.
By 2012, Showa began to feel that he was cramped within the framework of the duet, and for the sake of professional growth he began a solo career. But the initiative to reunite also came from him, and Victoria happily agreed.
The duo members have their own families
The duo opened 2014 with a tour of Russia and was awarded in the “Comeback of the Year” category. Now the group with an updated repertoire continues to perform concerts and appear in video clips.
Both actors, who were once romantically involved, have long since started families and had children.
What is Alexander Shoua doing now?
It is impossible to say exactly what his priority is: performing together with Victoria Talyshinskaya or solo activities. Alexander does one and the other almost simultaneously: he travels around cities while touring as part of Nepara, and manages to write new singles and shoot videos. He even emphasizes that his main income now comes from his creativity, and the duet comes in second place. For example, his album “Stop Me” was met with great success, the song from which “The Stars Will Align” is steadily gaining the number of plays.

“Stop Me” is not Showa’s first collection. He released his first album in 2016, it was called “Your Voice.” The song of the same name from this album has a very dramatic true story. Alexander in an interview shared on what events the composition was written: “One of my friends was in love with a girl whom he had never seen, they only communicated by phone. On his part these were serious feelings, and she, as it turned out later, was simply mocking him. We had a hard time pulling him out of his depression when everything opened up. Thank God, he is now dating someone else, everything is fine with him.”

The singer was and remains an uncompromising and honest person. He has a trait that has probably hindered him many times in life, but he does not want to betray himself: Sasha almost always says what he thinks. For example, he is asked why Nepara and he himself rarely appear on television at major official concerts. He replies: “First I’ll say that it doesn’t matter: those who come to our concerts hardly watch TV. Second: all sorts of New Year or holiday concerts are for a select few, getting there is like walking to Japan, it’s very difficult.”
Shoua openly says that the duet with Vika or himself is “with great difficulty” allowed to attend big events. He cannot say who is against their performances, but they still sing because they are loved and insist on their performances. He also frankly says that he does not understand the system of contributions to the “author’s” fund: “Why should I pay for singing my works? It turns out that they are supposedly protecting me from me? Complete nonsense! But if I don’t pay, I won’t be able to sing—they’ll cut off the oxygen.”
He doesn’t write songs for anyone, only for himself (or he wrote them before for “Nepara.” He explains it this way: “My singles are too complex for other performers. You need to understand them, feel them, get into the rhythm. But my rhythm is not easy - and not danceable , and not slow" He also adds with a smile: “Why do you think mine or what we performed with Vika are almost never sung at karaoke? Yes, because my songs are incredibly difficult to sing at least mediocrely, and it’s impossible to sing them well" But he collaborates with other composers with pleasure: for example, “I will steal her” he sings together with the author Alexander Best.
https://www.instagram.com/alexandershoua/
Regarding the music mafia: he speaks on this topic as uncompromisingly and harshly as on others. Sasha says with a sarcastic smile: “What is the power of the devil? What he convinced the whole world is that he doesn’t exist! It’s the same with the music mafia: we can only guess about who is behind this or that artist, but for the most part we will never know who exactly “moves” him.” On the same topic (the secret of popularity), he adds: “I’ve been in show business for decades, and it’s often a mystery to me why one singer is cool and performs, while another is supposedly mediocre and can’t get anywhere.”
His relationship with producers is also not very simple. “I can give the love and joy of one song to some producer, it’s possible. But to give myself into slavery to a guy who was not yet born when I was already singing - thank you.” And at the same time, Showa does not deny the fact that now there is a huge number of young and talented producers who successfully popularize emerging talents. And then he adds in his harsh manner: “But look, take “Black Star” for example: any of those who work in this label could easily achieve success on their own.”
Regarding his songs (and the songs of “Nepara”) on the radio, he responds this way: “Yes, they play us (and me), but extremely reluctantly, I know that for sure. The fact is that I don’t go on the radio, I don’t give money to be included. Their “grid” is not dimensionless, but people ask us, so they insert it - there’s nowhere to go! I guarantee that I don’t cry for any of my songs that you can hear on the radio (thank God) and I don’t intend to do so. I don’t have extra money for this, and Nepara is not a super-money team.”
He generally has a special attitude towards music expenses and income, this is clearly visible in his relationship with iTunes. “I give away my songs on iTunes with great reluctance. The reason is simple - I have almost no income from there. Their system is like this: you pay one hundred and sixty-odd rubles and listen, download whatever your heart desires for a whole month. And what will I get from this money? Practically nothing. That’s why I don’t consciously try to post anything there or on similar resources.”
https://www.instagram.com/alexandershoua/
A man of art, he rarely watches TV - as already mentioned, he has a complex relationship with TV programs. But he recently told me: “I haven’t turned on the TV for a long time (well, I don’t like it, what should I do), but recently I decided to watch it and was surprised! How many, it turns out, are young and talented! They have enthusiasm, a desire to make good singles. But the depressing thing is that there are more fast songs than slow or mid-tempo ones. And in a fast song, you must admit, the lyrics (and thoughts) are simpler, poorer.” And about his compositions, he immediately adds: “I don’t like fast songs, I like confessional songs, and they should be of medium tempo.”
He has a huge army of fans, especially many female fans. Showa is completely calm about the fact that he is not besieged by hundreds of enthusiastic girls: “In general, I think that all this running after the idol, when he comes out of the concert, and screaming girls rush after him - it’s all made up, staged. Well, I don’t believe that this is natural, especially since I know for sure: many of these scenes, when fans rush after the artist, are staged in advance.”
His talent is not recognized by significant state awards; he does not have titles with the prefix “RF”. But he has one award that he is very proud of and values. This is the title of Honored Artist of South Ossetia. Not Abkhazia, as it is written erroneously on Wikipedia, but South Ossetia! He told about the history of receiving this award: “There was a public poll in the republic about which artist people would like to see on the list of awardees, and I was there. The President invited me to Tskhinvali and personally presented me with this award.”
He has quite long breaks between songs. In an interview on Kursk radio, he was once asked: “You have such long pauses between the release of new compositions, what is the reason for this?” The answer was: “I don’t like one-day songs that are not written, but “baked” like pies. I will never do this myself. The song must mature, be hard-earned. And to be completely honest: there are songs that were written two days ago, but they were played so many times that everyone got tired of them, and mine, although they are played less often, everyone loves them. I look everywhere not for gilding, but for gold, and in music I do not betray myself.”
About personal life
He broke up with his first wife long before he met Victoria, and the Nepara group arose. He categorically denies persistent rumors that the singer Talyshinskaya caused the collapse of the family: “I left my wife when my daughter was six months old, and based on the dates it can be easily established that this happened much earlier than the moment when we began to cooperate.” He refuses to voice the reason for the divorce, but says: “At that moment I could not go against my desires and beliefs, so I decided to leave.”
Maya Showa. Photo https://www.instagram.com/mayushashoua/
His daughter from his first marriage is now nineteen, and his relationship with Maya is excellent. Alexander admits that he is very guilty before her: he left the family when Maya was a baby, did not take part in her upbringing, and was not there during her childhood. In a conversation on this topic, as on others, he is harsh: “Lenka Zakoshansky (meaning journalist Leonid Zakoshansky) in an interview “brought” my daughter to talk about our relationship with her and made her cry, you scoundrel!” But Showa immediately adds: “Maya and I talked a lot, and she eventually forgave me. And when she found out the reason, she said: “You know, dad, if I were in your place then, I would have left too.”
Alexander Shoua with his wife Natasha. Photo https://www.instagram.com/alexandershoua/
Maya's father complains that his daughter does not want to become a musician and does not seriously study music, even though she graduated from music school. Sasha says: “Don’t believe it when artists say: “So that my children follow in my footsteps? Never!" – They lie, shamelessly! If this is said, it means that they don’t want their child to do anything seriously in life, to work hard.”
The singer frankly admits: it is quite possible that he left his first family at one time - he did something stupid. And he adds: “It’s a shame to do stupid things at any age, but at mine it’s unacceptable. Now I will never make those mistakes again, and with Taisiya I will try to correct what I did in my first marriage.” He means his second daughter, who is already four years old. The girl’s parents did not show her on social networks for a long time, only relatively recently they began posting photos of her on Instagram. The girl was sent to ballet, her father hopes that she will achieve considerable success in ballet and become famous.
Alexander Shoua with his daughter. Photo https://www.instagram.com/alexandershoua/
The singer agrees that ballet, where he is preparing his daughter, is hard work. He believes that Taisiya is still too young to “put pressure” on her, to force her to study seriously. Alexander spoke skeptically about Volochkova’s photographs when she showed her bloody feet on social networks: “She’s not even a ballerina, but a society lady who once danced!” He hasn’t forced ballet on his daughter yet, but he believes that she has talent and gradually needs to increase the load. In the meantime, Taisiya plays with dolls, watches cartoons, and the greatest happiness for Showa, according to him, is when she quietly comes up to him in the morning and says: “Dad, turn on the cartoon! Mom doesn’t allow it, but I’m asking you!”
daughter Taisiya
There will be a conversation about “stupid things” again; on this topic, in connection with the family, Alexander states: “If you do stupid things in front of a child and loudly, he will remember it for the rest of his life. That’s why I behave calmly in the family, I follow every word, I even speak quietly.” He claims that now the main thing for him is family and fatherhood: “This is my current lifestyle. Everything I do is only for her, with an eye on my daughter. I will never give her a reason to doubt my integrity and my love for her.” And of course, he loves his wife very much, treats her with tenderness and respect, which is confirmed by those who regularly appear on social media. There are photos of them together on networks - the couple looks absolutely happy.
family
But he doesn’t like social networks, oddly enough! “I don’t often go to these Odnoklassniki, Contacts, I don’t respect them. The Internet is a scary thing in general, especially social networks. You communicate with a person, and you don’t know who is actually sitting on the other side of the monitor or phone screen. And another danger of the Internet is permissiveness. Anyone can go to your page, insult, slander, and nothing will happen to them for it. And I have a hard time believing in the honest popularity of many personalities on the Internet: everything is tied to connections, money, or the thirst for this money.”
Personal life
Alexander Shoua is an Abkhazian by nationality, with a short height of 165 cm, but the man is not short of charm. He managed to get married twice, the musician has two children. I first visited the registry office even before the formation of the Nepara group; a daughter, Maya, was born in this marriage.
Alexander Shoua and his wife Natalya
The musical duo performed the songs so soulfully that fans attributed an affair to Sasha and Vika. Interviews appeared in the press in which Victoria allegedly admitted that she had more than just a professional relationship with her partner. Alexander himself, in conversations with journalists in recent years, says:
“You never know what anyone is thinking about. The question here is that the stage and life are completely different things. I don’t mix one with the other.”
The singer’s second wife was Natalya, a lawyer by training. Showa calls this union ideal; there are rarely quarrels with his wife; the woman has become a real support, a reliable rear. A daughter, Taisiya, is growing up in the family. The girl loves to dance and dreams of becoming a ballerina.
Alexander Shoua with his family
Alexander shares news with subscribers of his Instagram page. The photos tell about the artist’s life and his hobbies. In addition to music, Showa loves fishing, wherever he has been with a fishing rod. He says the biggest fish are found in Norway and Kamchatka.
About his hobbies and hobbies
He is constantly traveling, performing in different cities, on tour. And in his free time from work, he also cannot sit still - Alexander Shoua is an avid traveler. Altai, the Urals, Siberia, Europe, Thailand - he traveled all over, saw everything. And everywhere he goes, he always has a camera with him – his passion for photography is legendary. Even when asked about money, he answers: “Money for me is the prospect of buying a new lens or going somewhere again with a camera, taking new pictures.” And then he smiles and adds: “But for the wife, the influx of finance is definitely different - to buy, for example, new shoes.”
Another passion of his is cooking. The singer loves to cook and does it masterfully. What he loves most is cooking with meat: “I love cooking meat and eating meat. In theory, a person should not be a vegetarian at all, I was specifically interested in: people’s teeth are designed in such a way that they are adapted not only for herbal, but also for meat food.” And he knows how to cook everything: “from borscht to cake” - his words. And he treats the cooking process extremely responsibly: “This is not simple cooking, but construction, an appeal to the Almighty, an expression of gratitude for our daily bread. And it’s blasphemy to cook a lot and just try, the whole food should be eaten.”
A little more about his culinary preferences: he eats what is prepared in the place where he lives or where he has visited. Among Russian dishes, he especially loves baked goods - pies, pies, and he also loves simple boiled potatoes with herring. For the New Year, their family must have the Stolichny salad on the table. The artist does not miss the opportunity to remember his native Abkhaz cuisine: “We cook delicious beans, bake extraordinary bread, and make amazing cheese. If you come to Abkhazia, you will not remain hungry, even if you have no money. They will definitely feed you everything that is in the house.”
And his well-known hobby is “hardware”. Here are his words: “I love everything that is iron, through which electricity or gasoline passes.” He's talking about motorcycles - he's a fanatic of riding this type of transport.
