“A girl who came out of nowhere” - that’s what they wrote about her after she started performing in the ensemble. Indeed, it was a mystery: where did Pakhomov spot this young talented singer living in a provincial town? The explanation may be simple: it was during that period that Oleg Pakhomov traveled around the country, organizing various castings, and it is logical to assume that he also visited the Chelyabinsk region. One way or another, at the end of 2014, an amateur recording of the group “Russian Style” appeared on the Internet, where the song “Go away, my dear” was performed by Katya Denisova. The single was included in the collection “Lonely Brunette,” which was successfully selling at that time.
Oleg Pakhomov knew well the demand on the music video market at that moment and decided, without further ado, to post not “sophisticated” clips, but simple compositions from amateur filming and clips from concerts. And there were concerts, even if not at large venues and in cities with a population of millions, but they were successful and with a large number of spectators - this can be seen in the group’s video clips for 2014 and 2015. The composition “Understand,” for example, where Katya is the soloist, has more than ten million views - not every very “cool” current star can boast of such a result! And then in 2015 the album “And Cherry is Red” was released, and the band and the soloist became even more popular.
The song from this album “White Lilac” and the single of the same name from the collection found a particularly strong response from fans of Katya Denisova. For another two years she successfully recorded and performed on tour with Russian Style, the number of fans is growing, and there are more and more admiring comments on YouTube. The group continues to travel and give concerts, although the recordings from those years are very scarce and made at an amateur level, but they exist. A very large number of recordings have been preserved from Radio-Dacha concerts, where you can even see Katya off stage - this is generally a rarity; it is generally impossible to find her personal video footage.
Why didn't she give interviews at all at that time? Pakhomov himself was happy to speak in front of the camera and published advertising materials on many resources. It was assumed that he took on the role of “mentor-guard” of the young singer and protected the girl from the obsessive attention of journalists. Bogdan recalled his first impressions of meeting an actress unknown to him at that time, gave his definition of love and made a choice in favor of the new SOKOLOV men's watch collections. Anastasia, popularity literally fell on you after the release of the series “Deffchonki”. Did you and the producers expect such success?
Anastasia Denisova: Actually, 50/50. It was like that - hit or miss. Either I will become popular, or the project will not take off. This is always the case when big projects are launched. I became famous, they recognized me - everything that I dreamed of, that any artist dreams of - happened to me after the release of the series, immediately after the first season. I remember the first time I went after that to some public place - I think it was an airport - they didn’t give me access! (Smiles.)
Behind you are school theater stages, a children's choir, and finally GITIS. Was the choice of the future path conscious? Did you dream of being an actress as a child?
Anastasia Denisova: Yes! From the age of 6, I jumped around the entire apartment, trying to imitate Whitney Houston or Barbra Streisand, sang songs, imagined that I was on stage, and generally did not think that a girl could want to engage in any other profession. I knew that some people want to be doctors, doctors, teachers. I thought: what kind of teacher am I? I'll be an artist!
Is it true that for several years after graduation you worked in something other than your specialty? And it seems to be quite successful?
Anastasia Denisova: Yes, this is a very long story, complex, called “through hardships to the stars” (Smiles.) Dreams are dreams, but the world turned out to be much more cruel and unpredictable, and I was faced with reality: not everyone who dreams of becoming famous artists, they become. I worked for several years in a construction company, in a company dealing with the latest computer technologies, in logistics and much more. She was both a toastmaster and a Snow Maiden. Everything happened in my life!
And suddenly one day a fateful call rang...
Anastasia Denisova: I was sitting in the office, I had appointments, and, interestingly, at that time I did not have any photographs in agencies - it was impossible to find me as an actress, because four years had already passed since I graduated from the institute, and I had already given up on my dream of becoming an actress, so this was all very unexpected! The story of where the producers found my phone still remains a mystery. This is what happens in life - fate, I guess! As my mother says: “If something is yours, it will find you on the stove!” So mine found me literally “on the stove” (Laughs.)
Do you remember your emotions at the same time?
Anastasia Denisova: I said: “Are you kidding me?!” Did you have the wrong number?” Then - that I won’t come. They replied: “Well, just write down the number, address, and days of the casting, just in case.” But ambition took over, and I thought: “I’ll take the last risk!”
Do you think you and your on-screen heroine are more similar, or are there no similarities at all?
Anastasia Denisova: In many ways, yes, we are similar, but not in everything. We’ve been filming the series for 7 years now, and it’s sometimes unclear who took what from whom: my heroine from me, or I from her. She is my alter ego who will always be with me. I don’t feel any discomfort at all if someone suddenly calls me Katya or Palna on the street. When I “went for it,” it was already clear that this would most likely happen: either no one would have noticed the series, or it would have become a superbomb.
You and Bogdan met on the set. Remember the first impression you made on each other?
Anastasia Denisova: I remember!... (Playfully.) We have already filmed four seasons of the series “Deffchonki”, and before the start of the fifth season, I started another project - a wonderful 4-episode film “Middle-aged Girl”, which we filmed in Kazan. A good friend of mine, a producer, called me and said: “I really want you to star with me. The role is not the main one, but it’s good, there’s not much money, but if you agree, it’ll be great.” I felt that I had to try. We met Bogdan on the first day of filming.
Bogdan Osyka: When I arrived to film the project “Middle-aged Girl” in Kazan, I didn’t know anything at all about the series “Deffchonki”. I’m from Kyiv, and at that time he was not so popular there, although Nastya even already had a Kiev fan group. And I have a friend, also a cameraman, who worked on the set of Little Girls. He says: “A famous actress is coming now.” It was cloudy weather, evening, dark, and then Nastya came - such a ray of light. (Smiles.) He comes dancing. Such an absolutely bright and positive person.
Anastasia Denisova: I approached everyone joyful, happy that I had arrived: for an actor, filming is a holiday. Being in a profession, being at work, although it is tiring, the feeling itself is like a disease, some kind of unprecedented excitement. At first I didn’t notice Bogdan. Then, already at the wedding, he told everyone that he remembered me back then, at the first meeting. The next day of shooting, I took a closer look and thought: “Wow, what a handsome guy!” (They laugh.) And I’m a skeptic by nature, although in general I’m a positive person, so I started thinking: “No, he’s such a handsome guy, but me and him...? Some kind of nonsense..." On the same day of filming, I began to notice: I glance somewhere, and he looks at me and - wow! - looks away.
Bogdan Osyka: Inventor! (General laughter.)
Anastasia Denisova: How was it? You constantly followed me! I’m going somewhere, and suddenly he’s there. Then he admitted that it was on purpose.
Bogdan Osyka: Okay, let there be this version. In fact, it just happened to coincide. (Smiles.)
Does the fact that you both “move” in the cinema environment help or, on the contrary, somehow hinder your relationship?
Bogdan Osyka: Rather, it helps. Nastya disappears on set all day, but we are together. No normal person would understand or accept such a schedule (Laughs). And I understand, because I “disappear” like that myself. Sometimes we can’t see each other for months, but we try to come to each other for at least a day or two. Nastya, for example, once came to see me in Yaroslavl just for my birthday.
Can you give your definitions of love?
Anastasia Denisova: This concept is different for everyone, it is so different... Just a year or two ago, and even more so before meeting Bogdan, the concept of love was completely different for me. Now for me love is warmth and pleasure. I understand that I have found my person. I don’t want to see anyone, I don’t want to go anywhere - besides work, of course - I want to spend all my time next to him. I'm never bored with him. Love is an irresistible desire to be with a person. Exactly what cannot be overcome. Love is sharing everything in the world, impressions, anything - even just making faces together.
Bogdan Osyka: We have a similar understanding of love in general. At work, for example, I understand that during the day I really missed Nastya - I don’t need any friends in the evening, just come home and sit together, discuss something, make some plans. We very rarely quarrel - this is our super trait.
Anastasia Denisova: Sometimes I want to quarrel - I’m also that “educator”. (Smiles.)
Bogdan Osyka: But we find compromises very simply.
Anastasia Denisova: We do everything with humor, with jokes. With the advent of love in my life, everything became easier and better - everything else seems unimportant.
You are raising two wonderful boys - Yura and Andrey. How are the roles distributed in your large and friendly family now?
Anastasia Denisova: Yura is my son, and Andrei is my brother, whom I adopted. This is a long and sad story, but it probably has something to do with our love story with Bogdan. There is such a concept - women will understand - as “he took a woman with a child.” For me, this became one of the determining factors in my relationship with Bogdan. When I explained the situation to him, that I was a girl with such “circumstances,” he said: “So what? This is your son. I need you. That means your son too.” That decided everything. Romance is understandable, but when a man tells you such things - even, perhaps, without yet understanding the extent of the responsibility - there is no other way. We went through a lot of problems and difficult moments together. I decided to adopt my brother after a tragic story with my father, and Bogdan said to me: “Did you think well?” I replied: “I guess I don’t quite understand what awaits me, but I have no choice.” And he replied: “Then I don’t either.” This became the second decisive factor. For us, having children is a given.
Bogdan Osyka: The children are already adults, and it’s not that difficult, actually. When there were two of them, they began to play with each other, they no longer cared about anyone else, they had their own little world.
Anastasia Denisova: Bogdan is an absolutely non-conflict person. He lacks the gene for conflict and resentment. For example, I don’t know how this is possible. (Smiles). When he began to talk to the boys on equal terms, Yura adapted very quickly. Bogdan appeared, and he began to go to school himself. In general, Bogdan taught the children a lot.
What parenting principles do you adhere to?
Anastasia Denisova: Boys are 13 and 14 years old - this is such a stupid age when you want to do everything in spite of, and are reluctant to study. In such cases, I am the “stick” for them, and Bogdan is the “carrot”. He comes and defuses the situation - he jokes, laughs. I prefer to educate. Those who have children of the same age will understand me perfectly. It’s just that we all need to survive this period together with dignity - so that no one leaves home or does anything stupid. Sometimes I start to “educate”, and Bogdan simply says: “Leave them alone! Feed, clothe, send to school - you won’t achieve anything else for now.”
Anastasia, a question for you. You are a very charismatic girl with a bright and memorable appearance. Those who have been watching you and the transformation of your image since the first season of the series “Girls” will be interested to know about women’s beauty secrets that you probably have.
Anastasia Denisova: My biggest transformation occurred before the meeting with Bogdan - six months before it. I can say one thing - I just really needed it. I needed a husband! (Laughs.) And not just any, but the coolest. There was even a specific list of everything I wanted. I had a lot of suitors, but they were not “my” men. I gained a lot of weight for the role and almost forgot what I really look like. The task was to return to our nature as much as possible. When I changed, it seemed to me that all this was also too artificial, and this was not me. Many people didn’t even recognize me. Sports, separate meals - no new secrets.
Sometimes it can be difficult to pull yourself together. Where to find motivation?
Anastasia Denisova: You need to look inside yourself, ask what you really want from life? If you don’t like something, don’t sit there, do it! I’m not so thin now, but that doesn’t matter to me - I accept myself for who I am. As soon as it becomes disgusting to me and brings discomfort, I will decide to change again. And while I’m filming, I’m in a certain image - why should I torture myself?
About other women's secrets. Are diamonds a girl's best friend?
Anastasia Denisova: I am a very practical person. I had everything in childhood, but after college there was nothing. My life has thrown me from “cold” to “hot” very strongly. When I had everything, I didn’t need it, when I had nothing, there was no time for that. I’ll buy myself jeans for a thousand rubles and wear them. And I like it that way. But now, growing up, I understand that I’m starting to like these things, I like white gold, neat little diamonds. I have a silver bracelet that I dreamed of - I just feel comfortable in it.
You and Bogdan became the heroes of the wonderful New Year's photo story SOKOLOV. What jewelry would you be happy to wear even after the “Cut!” command?
Anastasia Denisova: I love pearls - both separately and “inscribed” into something, woven somewhere, so the set - ring and SOKOLOV earrings immediately suited me.
Long earrings made of gold are very unusual and interesting. I usually wear earrings, rings and bracelets and almost never pendants, but I really liked the gold heart pendant. You can wear it both for New Year and on a date. When Bogdan and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary, I decided that every year we would celebrate the wedding - “get married again.” (Laughs.) And just such a pendant can be worn on such events that are significant for you.

Anastasia Denisova: As soon as I put on jewelry, especially earrings - bright, beautiful, I do light makeup (eyelashes, eyebrows, lipstick) - that's it, I'm ready. It is also important that your hair is always in order.
Bogdan Osyka: Say that getting ready quickly is not about you. (General laughter.)
Anastasia Denisova: Why, I can get ready quickly!
Bogdan, now a question for you. Do you agree that a wristwatch is a must-have accessory for a man?
Bogdan Osyka: I'll tell you this: there is a myth on the film set that the cameraman must have the most expensive watch. This is necessary so that if someone says: “What’s the matter, why is it taking you so long to move the camera?”, or suddenly someone is late, you can say: “My most expensive watch on set shows the most accurate time” (Smiles .) Previously, I was a little careless about wearing watches, but when I entered the profession, watches became an important part of my style. I try to wear them every day. I even have a watch collection. Two hours. (General laughter.) The collection is small, but good. I'm already used to looking at the time on my wristwatch.
What are your preferences? Are there any special requirements for the precious metal from which the watch is made and for the design of the strap?
Bogdan Osyka: Silver, black leather strap. The larger the watch, the better it looks on my hand. But there are also very elegant models with a medium-sized case.
What is more important to you - cutting-edge design or absolute functionality?
Bogdan Osyka: Design. I liked the silver watch from SOKOLOV with a black leather strap - it’s a discreet and elegant model that can suit not only a suit, but also a casual style - the same summer T-shirts.
Male opinion: can a watch be called an ideal New Year's gift?
Bogdan Osyka: Yes, quite. Even, it seems to me, this is the most accurate hit.

Bogdan Osyka: Since we have a big family, we all need to get together. Usually friends come to our country house.
Anastasia Denisova: Kebabs, Christmas tree, snowball... Such a “village” New Year. We've been celebrating like this for three years now!
Bogdan Osyka: We buy pyrotechnics in advance and make fireworks. We love winter very much. I don’t really want to go to warm places.
Anastasia Denisova: Yes, it’s better to just stay at home, in peace and quiet. I am a huge fan of watching TV and eating Olivier. While Yura was little, I was constantly coming up with something. When we suddenly had a large family, I was confused and didn’t know what to do. But then Bogdan again contributed his “two cents”: he began to scare the children with his jokes that if they behave badly, Santa Claus will put coal under their Christmas tree (Laughs.) And then he came up with a quest: they had to walk around the house with map with hints and look for your gifts. I thought: “Children, they’re already adults, won’t fall for this!” But for those ten minutes their eyes were burning, they were looking everywhere for their gifts!
Bogdan Osyka: Moreover, we put small gifts under the tree, and put the two most “important” ones away. And when the boys opened the little ones, they said: “No, but where are the gifts?” And we told them: “But there is a map!”
Anastasia Denisova: And we filmed it all! It's moments like these that are magical.

Anastasia Denisova: You know, I used to make wishes, but when I got Bogdan, I stopped! Although yesterday I had one dream, I won’t tell you for now.

Anastasia Denisova: Of course, there are also professional desires. But I’ll say this about the New Year - for me it’s not just some kind of holiday. Why can you make wishes only once a year? Every day I dream, I ask the Lord what I need. For me, Christmas is even more important - we celebrate it with the whole family more widely.
Bogdan Osyka: I’m also not a fan of wishing for something specifically for the New Year. I have such a super ability - to send desires into space. And they simply come true - regardless of the holidays.
Do you remember what you asked Santa Claus as a child?
Anastasia Denisova: Oh, I don’t remember. I think I asked for a pig once!
Bogdan Osyka: And I’m a bicycle.

Anastasia Denisova: I wish you to have a New Year's mood every day - regardless of whether everything is good or bad for you. To smile and feel happy for at least a second a day. This is difficult for me, I am very dependent on the people around me here. But I have such a person. New Year is with me - every day!
Bogdan Osyka: I would like to wish that on the New Year itself there will be family warmth with you, that your sons will come to their parents, that they will not forget their mothers and fathers and celebrate the holiday together.
Do you believe in miracles?
Bogdan Osyka: We all believe, but I am a bit of a “physicist”, and therefore I can always find some understandable explanation for everything.

While studying at GITIS, Anastasia Denisova had a son, Yuri, whose father was the girl’s common-law husband, Vladislav. It so happened that the actress raised the boy alone. — It took a long time to persuade the producers of “Deffchonok” to allow you to lose weight, because according to the script, Palna can hardly be too slim?
— During filming, we became friends with one of the film’s producers, Olga Frenkel , and became very close. As a woman, she understood me, although, of course, Palna cannot be thin. Now that we've finished filming the season, we're taking a long break, and I'm actively looking after myself. But, frankly speaking, I didn’t think that the process of losing weight would be so fast. In the latest episodes that are currently airing, I am one and a half sizes smaller than I was at the beginning of the season. And this, of course, became very noticeable. Therefore, at that time I had to stop losing weight a little. Next, if we film the fifth season, we will have to discuss whether I should get better or not. And if they tell me to gain weight, it means I will need to gain weight.
- How easy everything is for you: they told you to gain weight - you are gaining. Do you agree to any experiment for the sake of a role?
— I really love my work and I think that if it is justified by the image, the role, the script, then why not? If I need to jump with a parachute, I will jump. Even during the filming of Little Girls, I had many such moments when I had to overcome myself. I am always ready for various experiments, as long as we are not talking about outright debauchery, blasphemy and some kind of vulgarity. This is interesting!
