“In April of this year, the casting director of the project, Lika Leonidze, contacted me . By that time, I already knew about the series from Sanzhar Madiev and really wanted to take part in the casting. They sent me the script, I recorded video tests of some scenes. Then there were two long months of waiting and at the end of June I was invited to Moscow for the final auditions. By the way, they coincided with the participation of the film “The Road to Mother” at the International Moscow Film Festival. The final auditions went very well and it became clear that I was approved for the role. Together with me, such Kazakh actors as Sanzhar Madiev, Dina Tasbulatova, Daulet Abdygaparov took part in the auditions and were approved.

I play the role of Nargiz, a girl who is sent as a gift from the Golden Horde to the capital of Rus'. Complex intrigues unfold around her with the participation of the entire princely court.

The project is very large-scale, long-term, complexly staged, with a good script and beautiful locations. Part of the filming will take place in Crimea, but, unfortunately, my filming period will take place only in Moscow. In the Moscow region on an area of 10,000 sq. meters built the scenery of the ancient city. But it’s hard to call it a set, because this is a real town, in which there is a prince’s tower, a shopping area, a monastery, a pond... Filming began on August 1, so I haven’t had time to meet all the artists yet.

I know that one of the roles will be played by Yulia Peresild, whom I simply adore. I am also very glad that I will work with Svetlana Kolpakova, whom I had the pleasure of seeing on the stage of the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov.
