Childhood of Andrey Averin

The future famous showman was born in a small town called Boksitogorsk (Leningrad region). Very little is known about his childhood and adolescence. The only reliable fact is his passion for various sports. While still a schoolboy, Andrei began playing in the handball and football sections. Soon chess was added to them. It is very noteworthy that Averin has achieved very impressive success in this industry. In his interviews, Andrei to this day proudly notes that he is the chess champion of Boksitogorsk.

However, subsequently his fate was quite far from the world of sports. After graduating from school, Andrei Averin entered the institute, where he began to study as a test engineer. His specialty was the aerospace field, perhaps that is why the young artist was always so passionately drawn to the stars.

Fighting in the Don Bend

The situation of the 62nd Army in the Battle of Kalach (September 2-7, 1942)
Since July 1942, the division as part of the 62nd Army fought heavy battles in the big bend of the Don, repelling the offensive of the Wehrmacht 6th Army on Stalingrad (illustrated)

. During the German offensive and the entry of fascist German troops to the Don in the Kalach-on-Don area, the division was surrounded and suffered heavy losses: more than 6,000 people died. D.V. Averin died in battle, during a breakthrough from encirclement, saving the division banner.

A former political instructor of the 196th Infantry Division recalled[4]:

I will never forget the day of August 7th. The division headquarters was located in Silkina gully, and the command post was in front. Contact with the headquarters of the 62nd Army was lost. The medical battalion was surrounded. And then the division headquarters. Enemy attacks followed one after another, but the fighters did not give up.

The division command made a decision: to save the division banner and remove it from the encirclement. This task was entrusted to the battalion commissar Ivan Semenovich Zhelamsky. The banner was hidden under his tunic. Two groups were created: the first - brigade commander D.V. Averin, chief of staff V.L. Pribylsky. and political instructor Badkov, the second - with Zhelamsky I.S. We didn’t have time to walk 300 meters when we had to engage in battle with German machine gunners. Averin D.V., Pribylsky V.L. and Badkov led the battle and fought along with us. It started at 3 pm and ended at 9 pm. At the beginning of the sixth, the command decided to take brigade commander Averin along a small ravine to the top of the ravine. Two scouts came out first; the enemy did not fire at them. Then the brigade commander and Badkov moved along their path. At the exit from the ravine they were fired upon. Badkov was wounded and the brigade commander was killed.

Andrey Averin's career on stage

From an early age, Andrei Averin was a passionate fan of practical jokes. His jokes were a great success, and the ability to joke well became one of his hallmarks. Despite his very impressive figure, Andrei was never afraid of public speaking. That’s why he started appearing on stage quite early.

Unlike most other residents of Comedy, Averin never played in KVN. His path to the Moscow stage lay through the Comedy Club Peter Style. It was here that, while still a student, he met Zurab Matua and other famous showmen. The young artist’s performances were very successful and very soon the artist was offered to move to Moscow. Averin, without hesitation, accepted the offer.

Today Andrey is known as a permanent resident of the Comedy Club. On the Moscow stage he often performs together with other popular comedians - Timur Batrutdinov, Garik Martirosyan, Alexander Revva. However, the artist’s greatest popularity was brought by his collaboration with Zurab Matua and Dmitry Sorokin. Together they write humorous remakes of famous songs, with which they subsequently appear on stage.

In 2011, Averin began to increasingly appear in Russian clubs as a musical performer. His track “Loot Conquers Evil” began to be frequently broadcast on various radio stations. In 2012, Andrey took part in the recording of a more serious composition, “Endorphin,” created together with rapper Kravets.

Personal life of Andrei Averin and new figure

Andrey Averin is married. His chosen one's name is Victoria. Together the couple is raising a little daughter. According to some of the showman's friends, it was the birth of the child that forced the artist to reconsider some views on life and on himself personally. The comedian began to monitor his diet and pay great attention to healthy eating.

The end result exceeded all expectations - in just eight months, Averin lost almost 32 kilograms. As the comedian himself notes, the only delicacy he still allows himself is the pies that his wife Vika makes.

Maxim Averin: I no longer act in films just to make money

After the conversation, I thought that I could also sell tickets for an interview with him, like for a performance. Along the way, he even came up with a name - “Night Vigils with Maxim Averin.” It was two o'clock in the morning.

— Maxim, I wanted to start with another question, but on one of the sites I saw literally the following: hobby — loves sushi and cognac; fan of the Rubin football club (Kazan). Are you serious? "Ruby"???

- What are you doing? There was no such thing! I can't say that I'm indifferent to football. Gambling, there is no corner on the planet where it is not popular. But, to be honest, I have never seen Rubin Kazan play. This is someone's joke. I wouldn't trust a site that combined sushi and cognac. It's like bringing your skis to the beach during the height of the summer season. I treat with humor what they invent about me. I consider myself a gourmet after all.

- And now the question I was going to start with. The one-man show with which you are coming to Minsk is called “It all starts with love... Continued.” Has it ever happened in your life that it started differently? From a misunderstanding, for example, or from a quarrel?

- It is my deep conviction that even sadness comes from love. We come into this life from the great love of our parents, we receive our first impressions of love, our first emotions also come from it. And leaving life is also love. This performance is not the suffering of young Werther, it is a performance about those exciting, important things that disappear from our lives when we are in a hurry. This is the return of man to man. The greatest sin is indifference. This is my cry for people to think about the fact that today they need to have time to say important words to loved ones. Look into the eyes of your children, parents, loved ones. In fact, this performance has something for everyone.

“I love going to my colleagues’ performances”

— What do you prefer: performing in front of audiences with a one-man show or as part of a troupe in a repertoire production?

- It's a complicated thing. For me, going on stage is my way of existing. It matters to me what I say to the audience. I have a greed for the stage. Of course, I feel good when I only play what defines me. I don’t take on work that doesn’t bring me moral satisfaction. I no longer act or act just to make money.

— Do you go to other people’s performances yourself? Where were you last?

— I love going to my colleagues’ performances! It’s a must watch, you can’t live in your shell, you need to be inspired. From the latter, I watched several performances at the Vakhtangov Theater and was simply shocked by the direction of Rimas Tuminas. His production “Smile on us, Lord!” is a modern “Funeral Prayer.” Amazing work by Makovetsky, Sukhorukov, Knyazev. I watched “Uncle Vanya” with Makovetsky - it was a masterly work. I also saw “Eugene Onegin” at the Vakhtangov Theater. In general, it seems to me that the arrival of director Rimas Tuminas to this theater is salvation for the theater. Now it is experiencing a renaissance. It's amazing how artists open up.

“My personal life is not sparse”

— Maxim, before calling, I re-read about three dozen of your interviews, honestly. And in each it is written: the artist does not like to talk about his personal life. And then a suspicion crept into my mind - did anyone ask about her? I’ll venture to ask: what’s going on with your personal life? Marriage, children and all that?

— It’s all very simple: against the backdrop of what’s happening with the press, against the backdrop of magazines about the offended and abandoned, which tell who, with whom, where and how many times, I prefer not to talk about personal things at all. Paul McCartney said it right: “Everything I wanted to say is in my music. If I want to say something new, I'll write a new song." I don’t want to shout that I have such an amazing romance, or that I was abandoned, or that I abandoned. We are not living in the Middle Ages, when after the first wedding night we hung out our underwear for show. It seems to me that I can attract the viewer’s attention not with novels and scandals; there are other means of expression. My personal life is not meager, believe me, it is very rich and thank God.

- Any person is a mother’s son or mother’s daughter. He tries to live up to her hopes. Have you met your mother's hopes?

— My favorite work is the autobiographical novel by the French writer Romain Gary “Promise at Dawn.” At its center is the love of mother and son. I think this is a project of my relationship with my mother. I'm a mama's boy, I understand that. This does not mean that I sit at my mother’s feet and put my head on my knees. But my mother always said that she gave birth to me for herself. She is a simple person, but with a complex character. She is an Aries, this determines a lot. Her character is unbearable at times, but she is a very resilient person. This is the quality I like about her—inflexibility. I guess I really am the embodiment of her hopes, because I think I can be proud of.

- She doesn’t nag you? “Son, get married, have children, I want grandchildren already...”

- No, I have an older brother who perfectly compensates for this gap. My mother sees that this is not what I live at all. And it’s difficult for me to indicate whether to marry or not.

— Do fans write letters to you?

— Yes, a lot of letters come to the theater’s address. I read them and save many. There may be a minor mood, but you open the letter - and there is a story that gives you strength back. Imagine, I’m coming from filming, tired, a hard day, 1.5 months before vacation, you have a new project, plus filming in the fourth season of Sklifosovsky, another new theater season, rehearsals... But you can’t be an eternal source of energy. And suddenly a letter from a married couple who dreamed of a child, but it still didn’t work out. They were already tired of this topic and began to move away from each other. And so they came to my one-man show, and it ignited them so much that a miracle happened - some special romantic feeling awakened in them, and the woman became pregnant. They named their son Maxim. I read this story - it was as if I had been born again. This means that you are not living and doing something in vain. Someone needs you to stay awake, worry, and work on a new role.

“I’m not a romantic, the past for me is just the past”

— Can I offer you a role? You are traveling in time. Where and to whom will you go?

— In this regard, I am not a romantic; the past for me is just the past. The future is illusory. And life is here and now. Although, of course, there are people who have left, and I miss them. Time does not heal. The person who left is a gap that cannot be filled. I miss Lyudmila Markovna Gurchenko, I often remember her. Once in my youth I was in love with an actress. I asked my dad to introduce me to her (Maxim’s father worked at Mosfilm as a decorative artist. - Ed.). I put on my best herringbone coat, came to meet her, and when she came in, I was confused and started mumbling like crazy. Years passed, and she and I met on the set. And I told her that we had met once and that I grew up watching her films. Led her into unimaginable indignation. I realized that I was talking nonsense. I immediately remembered Lyudmila Markovna, who always complained that some old men and women would come up to her and mutter: “We grew up watching your films.”

— You will arrive in Minsk immediately after your birthday. Do you like to celebrate birthdays?

— I have a tradition: on my birthday I play a play. For the last three years it has been a one-man show “It all starts with love...”. This is my New Year, how I celebrate it is how I will spend it. I love birthdays. The years do not frighten me, because I do not live by subtraction, I live by acquisition. I am happy with what God has given me, and I don’t ask him for anything; there are crowds asking without me. I thank him for everything.
