Catherine was born in the capital of the Georgian SSR, the city of Tbilisi, it happened in 1972 on January 10. Her mother was a pharmacist, and her father was a geologist. It was with her mother that little Katya spent most of her time, since the head of the family was often on the road. It seemed that from birth her fate was predetermined - even the little girl received her name in honor of the greatest French actress Catherine Deneuve.
It is unknown whether Catherine has any siblings, but judging by information available in the media, she is the only child in the family.

Education
After graduating from high school, Ekaterina did not hesitate for a second in choosing a profession and immediately entered Tbilisi State University, choosing the department of history and film studies. Since Ekaterina studied at two faculties at the same time, she had to write two whole theses. The first concerned the Italian missionaries of the 17th century, for which work she was awarded a master's degree in history. The second graduation project was dedicated to Otar Ioseliani and his work.
