Personal life

Of course, fans are interested not only in the creative achievements of their idol. Does Vadim Kolganov have a wife or children? In 2001, the actor met Ekaterina Goltyapina. This happened when he was returning from filming in Sochi. Due to a misunderstanding, he and Catherine were sold tickets for the same seat on the train. Thanks to this, the young people met.

Vadim made a date with the charming girl, and a year later he proposed to her. The lovers did not organize a magnificent wedding; they limited themselves to a modest ceremony. Ekaterina, like Vadim, plays in the theater and appears in films and TV series. She can be seen in the second season of “Truckers,” as well as in the films “Red Snake” and “Mummy from a Suitcase.” It’s interesting that before meeting Goltyapina, Kolganov had no doubt that nothing would force him to marry the actress. Love made Vadim change his mind.

The husband and wife do not have children yet, but they plan to have them in the future. At the moment, Vadim and Ekaterina are focused on their careers. It is known that it was Goltyapin who convinced Kolganov to abandon his brutal image. When the actor cut off his long rocker hair and stopped wearing leather clothes, he began to receive many more interesting offers from directors.

Interesting Facts

Journalists often ask stars the same questions. For example, Vadim is constantly asked whether he is related to the famous actress Tatyana Kolganova, who became famous thanks to the television project “Black Raven”. Interestingly, the actress’s other half is also called Vadim. In reality, this woman is only Kolganov’s namesake. Vladimir Kolganov, who played a key role in the TV series “Strawberry Time,” is also not related to the actor.

Vadim twice became a participant in the dance project “Ice Age”. For the first time, figure skating champion Tatyana Navka became his partner, and for the second time, singer Anna Semenovich. He also took part in the “King of the Ring” show, recalling that in his youth he was seriously interested in boxing. Vadim managed to take third place, as he joined the list of participants too late. However, he did not lose a single fight.

A television

Vadim Kolganov has repeatedly taken part in various television shows. In 2008, Vadim remembered his youthful passion for boxing and took part in the “King of the Ring” show. In 2009, he became the champion of the “Big Race” entertainment show, and since 2010, he has appeared several times in Mikhail Shirvindt’s educational and entertainment program “I Want to Know.”

Twice he was a participant in the dance project “Ice Age”. In the second season, paired with Olympic figure skating champion Tatyana Navka, he won 2nd place. The next season, his partner was figure skater and singer Anna Semenovich. “I was also invited to this project thanks to the series “Tatiana’s Day,” which had huge ratings. I am grateful to fate that I participated in this program, as well as in “King of the Ring” and in “Great Races”. But I think that you shouldn’t go too far and endlessly move from one show to another. At the moment, I try to politely refuse participation in various television shows. Yes, there will be broadcasts, but you can lose your health, and I need it for my favorite job, family and everyday joys,” says the actor.
