Biography

Vitaly Emashov was born and raised on the banks of the Kama in a simple family. His mother worked at a local factory as a secretary. As a child, the boy was more interested in exact sciences, so he studied in a class with a mathematical bias. Having received a certificate of secondary education, he entered the Polytechnic Institute. But he dropped out after the first semester. He worked at the Foundry for about a year as a stamper of refractory bricks. In 1994 he joined the army, where he served the required two years in the airborne forces. Then Vitaly made a decision that was unexpected for his family and friends. He went to the city of Yaroslavl and found himself a student at the theater institute. The training took place on the course of teacher V. Shalimov. In 2011, Vitaly Emashov became Prokhor Dubravin, realizing his old dream: “When filling out the form for changing the name, in the “reasons” column, I indicated “personal desire.” This desire has been brewing in me for a long time: I like the name Prokhor, I like the sound of Dubravin. I've wanted this for a long time. And did".

Youth years

After graduating from high school with class number 35 with in-depth study of physics and mathematics, Vitaly entered the Kama Polytechnic University for a course in the construction specialty. That same year he had to leave his studies, because there was no money in the family. He got a job at a foundry as a firebrick stamper. In 1994, he was drafted into the army in the airborne troops.

In 1998, I decided to enter the theater institute in Yaroslavl. In 1999, he became a student in the workshop of V.S. Shalimov and received a diploma in 2003. His graduation works were “The Cherry Orchard” based on A. Chekhov and “Untilovsk” based on L. Leonov.

During his studies, the artist was involved in several performances of the Fyodor Volkov Academic Theater. He took part in graduation performances: “The Cherry Orchard” - Lopakhin, “Untilovsk” - Apollos. In 2003-2005 he served at the Moscow Kinospectakl Theater.

Prokhor Dubravin is a successful Russian theater and film actor. At the beginning of his career he was known as Vitaly Emashov, but on April 18, 2011 he officially changed this name. Vitaly was born on July 18, 1976 in Naberezhnye Chelny, into a simple working-class family - his mother worked at the Foundry. The desire to become an actor was not a childhood dream - he was more fascinated by the exact sciences, and therefore he studied in a class with a physics and mathematics focus, wanting to connect his activities in this direction in the future. Therefore, immediately after graduating from school in 1993, he successfully entered the Polytechnic Institute with a degree in industrial and civil engineering. But the hardships of the specialty, as well as disappointment in the profession, prompted the young guy to leave his studies. For some time he worked at the same foundry as his mother, stamping bricks, but soon he was drafted into the army. Having repaid his debt to his homeland, Prokhor decided after his service that he needed to try himself in the acting profession and in 1999 he entered the Yaroslavl Theater Institute. The management liked the talented guy, and while still a student, he already began participating in performances at the Academic Theater, along with professional actors. After completing his studies in 2003, Prokhor went to conquer the capital. An impressive track record of theatrical work helped him easily get a job at the Moscow Kinospektakl theater, where he worked for 2 years. At the same time, the actor acted in films and hosted a program for children, “The Story of the Old Attic.” Prokhor Dubravin universal recognition thanks to the series “Circus Princess”. Having played two twin brothers, the actor managed to reveal his talent, brilliantly showing 2 different characters on one screen. Prokhor is a multifaceted actor, which he confirms by successfully transforming himself on screen into both villains and good-natured people.

Cinema

He made his film debut in 2004 in an episode of the film “Bachelors.” Then he played in several more television films - “Adjutants of Love”, “Philip’s Bay”, “Don’t Be Born Beautiful”, “Talisman of Love”. He received supporting roles in the series “Matchmaker”, “Mad” and in the film “Shift”. Vitaly came to fame after filming the melodrama “Circus Princess” - the Russian version of the Latin American project “Traveling Artist”. He portrayed two characters at once - twin brothers. Yaroslav and Svyatoslav fall in love with the same girl. Asya reciprocates one's feelings, but he needs to leave. The second realizes that his appearance is identical to his brother and continues to hit on the gymnast heroine. She dances in a touring circus. Unexpectedly, with the arrival of the new chief physician Andrei (Prokhor Dubravin), Anya’s life spirals into such a cycle that everything begins to change rapidly. Trying to recover from betrayal, Vera picks up a homeless orphan on the street and decides to adopt him. She doesn’t know that Vanya is the heir to a huge fortune, and he is being hunted.

Prokhor Dubravin was married to actress Evgenia Serebrennikova (Evgenia Zaputina). The actor met his future wife in 2003 - both had just moved to Moscow and were just starting their careers.
