Childhood and youth
Natalya Aleksandrovna Terekhova was born on September 6, 1982 in Leningrad. The girl inherited her love for the stage from her grandfather, who was a ballet dancer. But Terekhova’s parents are far from art. In her youth, her mother worked as a nurse, but after the birth of her children - son Denis and daughter Natalya - she left her job and devoted herself to her family. The girl’s father has a medical education, but at one time he decided to try himself in business and was very successful in this endeavor.

Actor career
Natalya Terekhova began acting in her junior year at the institute. The pretty actress got small roles in famous TV series, including “Streets of Broken Lights” and “Deadly Force.” Among Terekhova’s early works is the farce film by Alexei Karelin “Cinderella in Boots.” Many critics noted that this project became the most original version of the good old fairy tale about Cinderella, because the main role in it was played by... a guy (Semyon Mendelson).

The series, in which Natalya played her first leading role, was released in 2003. On the set of the dramatic story “Line of Fate,” the student actress was lucky enough to work with such masters of Russian cinema as Valentina Talyzina, Sergei Garmash, Konstantin Khabensky, Andrei Krasko and others.
In 2005, a graduate of the theater academy could be seen in the military mini-series “Alka”, which made a huge impression on the audience. According to the plot of the series, young ballerinas Alka (Anna Fomina) and Nadya (Natalia Terekhova) dream of military exploits, but instead they are faced with routine work as nurses in a hospital. Danila Kozlovsky and Irina Skobtseva also played in the film.

In 2006, Terekhova was accepted into the troupe of the state drama theater "Comedians". Since then, Natalya has been serving in the St. Petersburg theater, delighting audiences with her brilliant performances in classical and modern productions. On the theater stage, the actress mainly gets the main roles - the young widow Evlampiya Nikolaevna Kupavina in the play based on the play by A.N. Ostrovsky's "Wolves and Sheep", Mashenka in the vaudeville "Trouble from a Tender Heart" based on the work of V. A. Sollogub, etc. Natalya is one of the most popular actresses of this theater in cinema. Just as often, Philip Azarov, Zhanna Kupriyanova, Roman Pritula and Maxim Sergeev appear in films.

Terekhova considers her work in the TV series “Witchcraft Love” to be one of her favorite roles of those years. In it, she played the girl Zhenya, endowed with supernatural powers, in whom the personality of the Witch manifests itself. The actress liked this project not only because of the originality of the plot and a touch of mysticism, but also because the filming took place in the wilderness of the countryside, cut off from the outside world. And, of course, communicating with a trained raven.

By the beginning of the 2010s, Terekhova was already a highly sought-after film actress. Her face literally never left the television screens. She could be seen especially often on the Russia-1 channel, in melodramatic mini-series (“Omen for good luck”, “What should the heart do.”).

In 2013, Natalya disappeared from television screens - the girl went on maternity leave. But even during these years, Terekhova continued to work, albeit in a slightly different way. Together with two theater colleagues, she founded the Troiban Show YouTube channel, whose participants organize pranks, pranks and social experiments. The show continues successfully to this day, and the channel already has almost 100 thousand subscribers.
Terekhova returned to television screens only three years later, playing bright roles in the mini-series “How much does happiness cost”, “Hurricane wind is expected”, etc.

In 2002, the actress received the main role of Masha in the farcical comedy “Cinderella in Boots.” The plot of Charles Perrault's fairy tale has been transferred to our days in a military unit. Soldier Lushkin (Semyon Mendelson) serves for the first year and fulfills the whims of his demobilization, but one day the young man goes AWOL and ends up at a concert of a musical group, where he meets a girl, Masha.
A year later, the drama “Lines of Fate” was released on television, where Natalya Terekhova became a member of the star cast, which included Valentina Talyzina, Irina Rozanova, Sergei Garmash, Konstantin Khabensky. The actress reincarnated as the heroine Yulia Vershinina, the daughter of the Vershinins.

In 2004, the actress’s filmography was replenished with works in the TV series “National Security Agent”, “Mongoose”, “The New Adventures of Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin”. In 2005, Natalya received an offer from the creators of the military drama “Alka” about the fate of two graduates of the choreographic school who went to the front in the first days of the war. Natalya Terekhova played the role of Nadya, her friend, Alka was played by Anna Fomina. Danila Kozlovsky and Irina Skobtseva also appeared in the film.
At the same time, the actress starred in the stunt comedy “Touched” about the adventure of three inseparable friends, students Alan, Pavel and Kirill. In the film, the actress played with her first husband, Vitaly Isakov.
Natalya Terekhova became a recognizable artist in 2006 after the release of the wonderful series “Petya the Magnificent”. The girl played the main character's beloved brilliantly, although the transformation turned out to be difficult: in life, Natalya and the character Olga Odintsova are women of opposite characters.

The series' ratings were high. At first, the film was seen in Ukraine, where filming took place. But then they watched the melodrama in Russia. The audience liked the film, and the creators decided to make a sequel. In the second season, Terekhova again played the main role.

In 2012, the actress pleased fans with her participation in the next melodrama “Sign of Good Luck,” where Natalya starred in the role of single mother Olga, who works as a waitress in a dining car. After a while, a young man Anatoly (Alexey Osipov) appears in the heroine’s life, who surrounds the girl with care and attention. The only obstacle to rapprochement is the man's criminal record. Olga will have to learn to trust a stranger in order to find female happiness.
2013 gave the artist another leading role in the television film “The Age of Love,” where Sergei Mukhin became Natalya’s partner on the work site.
Personal life of Natalia Terekhova
The actress met her first husband while still a student. Her chosen one was actor Vitaly Isakov. However, the marriage turned out to be short-lived, and the young people decided to divorce.
Terekhova had a hard time with the breakup. Her theater colleague Anatoly Ilchenko, ex-husband of actress Anna Kovalchuk, helped her get out of depression. In 2011, the couple had a son, Mitya, and two years later, a son, Artem.

In April 2020, the TVC channel will premiere the detective mini-series “The Horse of Isabella’s Color,” in the plot of which the collapsed Voronin family finds itself drawn into an unusual, deadly and at the same time saving story. The main roles in the series are played by Natalya Terekhova and Dmitry Frid.
Natalya will appear in Igor Muzzhukhin’s detective series “Fake Love.” In it, the actress will play an honest and principled investigator Oksana Danilova, whose cloudless personal life is collapsing due to yet another case. The series will also star Andrei Frolov and Sergei Peregudov.

The actress played the girl Zhenya, who unexpectedly discovers supernatural abilities. “I was very happy that in one project I was playing two completely different roles: an ordinary village girl and a fatal beauty, a witch. In addition, I have long had a dream - to star in a film in which the action would take place in a village. So that there are village cows and goats around. I won’t say that I dreamed of mysticism, but when I found out that the series was conceived in this genre, I wasn’t scared at all. This is probably why nothing strange happened to me during the entire filming period - I simply pushed all these thoughts away from myself, because I don’t believe in such things. In general, I am very happy that I got into this project and that the filming took place in Kyiv. I just felt like I was in a fairy tale. It’s a pity that it’s all over,” recalls Natalya.
"How much does happiness cost"
In 2020, director Roman Prosvirnin shot the film “How Much is Happiness,” in which Natalya Terekhova played the main role. The plot centers on the story of a simple school teacher, Nina, who one day becomes the happy owner of fifteen million rubles won in the lottery. The film also starred: Roman Ladnev, Alexander Konstantinov, Tatyana Kuznetsova and others.
