Regina Myannik's childhood
Regina was born in Moscow. Even as a schoolgirl, the girl thought that she would be an actress. Internally she felt the need for this, in addition, her bright appearance was conducive to playing on stage. She was used to being the center of attention during her school years. Interested in the acting profession, the girl read a lot of specialized literature on how to master this profession. Her parents talked her out of it. They wanted their daughter to have a profession that would guarantee her a salary that would feed her. Having matured, Regina herself began to understand that an aspiring actress would not support herself, and the girl wanted to be independent, she wanted to be able to earn “real” money. It was necessary to think about choosing a different specialty.

After graduating from school, Myannik became a student at Moscow State University. She chose journalism for herself and was not mistaken. Regina always wrote well. At the end of the eighties, journalists were in great demand; it was the time of glasnost and perestroika. While still a student, Regina started working part-time.
The beginning of Regina Myannik's acting career
On occasion, a friend introduced Myannik to Alexander Tolmatsky, the father of rapper Decl.
He invited her to temporarily become the host of the Afisha program while the permanent host was ill. The girl came to the audition, passed it successfully and replaced the presenter for some time. One evening they called her and invited her to a conversation with Sergei Lisovsky. He, as the owner of the Muz-TV channel, spoke flatteringly about her work and offered Regina to head its press service. It was a happy opportunity that Myannik did not miss, especially since she wrote easily and well. This is how Regina ended up in the LISS press service. Her responsibilities included writing articles and creating reporting stories from musical events. While working there, Regina became the leading manager of Lisovsky's media group.

Myannik worked and at the same time studied at graduate school at Moscow State University, where she entered in 1996.
However, the girl did not complete graduate school. In 1997, she decided to fulfill her childhood dream and entered GITIS. For many of her friends, this decision came as a complete surprise, because by 1997, Regina was firmly on her feet, she had a prestigious profession, she had already established a career, but she actually gave up everything and decided to study at a theater university. This act was like an adventure. Myannik sat at a desk with recent school graduates, already a graduate student at Moscow State University. She never regretted it.
The years of study at GITIS were difficult financially, since Regina was left completely without income, spending days and sometimes nights at her favorite institute. At that time she was already married and had two sons. The husband did not earn enough. As the actress admits, she had to sell her things and jewelry in order to somehow live.

Despite parents and career
Regina was born in Moscow. Her parents had nothing to do with the world of great art - her father worked as an engineer, and her mother was even further from sublime matters, working as a pathologist.
However, from childhood, the girl dreamed of how she would perform on stage and act in films ; she read many specialized works on theater and cinema in order to better and more deeply understand the principles and subtleties of the acting craft.
At school, the girl was the center of attention of her peers and teachers, and not only because of her memorable appearance - Regina never refused to participate in school matinees or any productions.
After school, she liked to run to the cinema or go to a theater performance. At home, in front of the mirror, I acted out various scenes with the obligatory dressing up in various outfits.
However, when the time came to make a choice of a future profession, the parents convinced their daughter to give up acting and try herself in a more “earthly” incarnation. Having collected her secondary education certificate from school and collected other necessary documents, the girl took them to Moscow State University, choosing the Faculty of Journalism for herself.
She became a student of the journalism department the first time, and in 1993 she successfully defended her diploma. In the journalistic field, everything was going well for her: Regina knew how to write articles that both the editors-in-chief liked and aroused interest among the audience of readers.
In the early 90s, Myannik met Alexander Tolmatsky, who invited the young journalist to try herself as a TV presenter of the Afisha program. Regina agreed to audition, the attempt was successful, and soon the charismatic and charming girl became a recognizable personality on domestic television.
She became interested in Sergei Lisovsky, who was looking for a person for the position of head of the press service of the Muz-TV channel. Regina agreed to a new position and soon became one of the leading managers of the capital's television channel.
In parallel with her work on television, Myannik continued to write texts and study at graduate school at Moscow State University. The luminaries of journalism predicted a bright future for her in this environment.
However, in 1997, Regina, a successful journalist and television manager, plunged many of her acquaintances into a state of shock by quitting a job that brought her a stable income.
Myannik left her job and entered the acting department at GITIS. To better understand the basics of her new profession, Regina participated in rehearsals and performances of the Theater Events Factory theater. Lectures and practical classes brought her aesthetic pleasure, despite the fact that her financial situation left much to be desired.
Having received the coveted acting diploma, Regina Myannik collaborated with various theaters - she appeared on the stage of the Moon Theater, the Simonov Theater, and the Vladimir Vysotsky Theater Center. Many fans of theatrical art remember her for her mastery in performances:
- "Of Mice and Men";
- "Trait";
- "The Last Don Juan";
- "The Three Ages of Casanova";
- "Paradise apples".
In addition to her employment in the theater, Regina Myannik does not forget about her journalistic past - together with Andrei Malakhov, she hosts the TV program “Flea Market” on Channel One.
Personal life of Regina Myannik. Tragedy
Myannik’s first husband was a quiet urologist, whom she took away from the family.
The actress recalls that at that time she did not think about the correctness of her actions, did not think about the family that she destroyed. In 1994, she became pregnant, the relationship had to be formalized, which her parents insisted on. Myannik gave her eldest son the name Stepan, since she always liked it very much, and named his brother Nikita. As the actress jokes, if she could have called the second one Stepan, she would have done so, but her relatives dissuaded her.
Regina Myannik with her sons
Very soon the family boat began to leak. Not wanting to tolerate her husband’s betrayal, Regina and her sons left him. In 2005, she married lawyer Georgy Novikov (Gera, as Regina called him). They had a beautiful wedding, for which the actress wore a veil and a white dress - unlike the first wedding, which was quiet and hastily held.
As soon as Stepan and Nikita, who were studying in the UK, got back on their feet, grief came to the family. On November 13, 2020, Georgy was killed. The names of the killers are still unknown. She was not in Russia that day. Having received a message about her husband’s death, she immediately flew from London to Moscow, where Regina’s father-in-law confirmed that George had been killed. The investigation is still ongoing, so Regina cannot provide details of the investigation. But, as she admitted on Andrei Malakhov’s talk show, she had already drawn the line in her personal investigation.

In this marriage, the actress had two sons, Stepan and Nikita, year after year.
However, family life with their father did not work out for Myannik. Her husband's constant infidelities led to Regina getting tired of the showdown and leaving her husband, taking her sons. At the same time, she quit journalism and went to study to become an actress. The actress is grateful to her ex-husband for her two sons and for the fact that their father does not forget about his offspring.

In the cinema by coincidence
The actress's debut in the world of cinema turned out to be unplanned. Regina had long dreamed of trying her hand at cinema, but for a long time there was no suitable opportunity. We had to urgently look for a replacement, and the choice was made in favor of Regina. The surprised actress initially refused, but then agreed to join the cast of the film project.
