Biography and personal life of Yana Troyanova

Yana Troyanova was born on February 12, 1973 in Yekaterinburg. Her father, Viktor Smirnov, was a restaurant singer. Her mother gave birth to her at eighteen. And she grew up without a father, since Victor had been married for a long time. Not many people know that Yana’s mother’s last name is actually Mokritskaya. But her mother had a lot of fun with the birth certificate. A certain Alexander Sergeevich was recorded as his father, as it later became known - in honor of the poet Pushkin. And the surname Troyan turned out to be seen in some encyclopedia. Ultimately, there is not even a hint in the documents about Yana’s biological father. Yana also has a sister, Lena, who is ten years younger than her and is now raising two children.

Although the future star’s talent for artistry began to manifest itself from childhood, the biography and personal life of Yana Troyanskaya were not as cloudless and easy as it might seem at first glance. She did well at school, but her character was by no means flexible. The teachers even called the girl a hooligan.

She dreamed of becoming an actress, but chose the Faculty of Philosophy at the Ural State University, since films were rarely made then, and there was simply no need for new faces. Only after that did Yana enter the theater university in Yekaterinburg. But she soon left him. The thing is that teachers often singled out Troyanskaya’s talent among other students, and the group almost boycotted her. As a result, she never became a certified artist, but, as she herself said later, she never regretted it. After all, even then she began performing at the Teatron theater, which changed her whole destiny.

Childhood and youth of the future actress

The actress was born on February 12, 1973 in the capital of the Urals, namely in the city of Yekaterinburg. The girl became the illegitimate daughter of Viktor Smirnov, who was the owner of the Silver Hoof restaurant. Being an 18-year-old girl, Yana’s mother decided not to tell her married man about her pregnancy and decided to raise the baby herself. Mom, according to Yana, is a real comedian; in the column about paternity she wrote Alexander Sergeevich, referring to the great Russian writer Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin. The parent also changed her real surname Mokritskaya to Troyanova, which she read in one of the scientific books. Ten years later, a younger sister was born into the family, who was named Lena.

Yana Troyanova in childhood

Having given birth to a girl, the young mother was forced to go to work, leaving the child to be raised by her grandmother. Five years later, my beloved grandmother passed away due to a terrible illness.

From early childhood, little Yana demonstrated her acting abilities in every possible way . Most of all, she remembers the gala matinee for the holiday of the Seventh of November, the group prepared a dance in which the girl performed the role of a cotton picker, despite the fact that there were four contenders, the role went to Yana, since she had good dancing skills.

Yana Troyanova in her youth

The actress's childhood was a rather difficult period in her life . At school she did not like to study, teachers constantly complained because of her difficult disposition and character, she often got into some troubles and was generally a hooligan. After graduating from school, Yana changed her place of residence and moved to the city of Vladivostok, where she spent several years in search of her calling.

At twenty-three, Yana became a student at the Faculty of Philosophy at Ural State University and defended her thesis on the psychoanalysis of the great psychiatrist Freud. The six-year education helped the actress understand herself. After graduating from the university, on the first try she entered the Yekaterinburg Theater Institute, where she studied in the workshop of V. Anisimov. After studying for a year, Troyanova realized that daily stress and hassle were killing her individuality and natural acting skills.

Yana Troyanova in her youth

Yana's classmates disliked her, since the teachers very often praised her abilities, the girl decided to leave the institute. According to the actress, she does not regret at all that she did not receive a diploma.

Filmography: films starring Yana Troyanova

The girl’s filmography began with the film “Top,” filmed according to the script of her husband, as well as another film called “To Live.” Critics responded well to her debut and Troyanova began winning awards almost at the beginning of her career.

She can also be seen in “Oz” and other films. And also in the TV series “Olga,” which brought the woman to the peak of popularity.

Yana Troyanova: For my audience, I must age correctly

You always say that you take a long time away from filming films. How do you live with your role in the series “Olga”? The first season of television has just started, and the second season is already being filmed.

Some actresses tell me that in TV series almost everything is the same as in the movies. But only those who did little acting in auteur films before starting to work in TV series can say this. In auteur cinema it’s like this: it’s as if you dived under the water with all your might or flew into the sky, and then you emerge or collapse to the ground and think: you’ve done everything you could, you made such a throw. Then you become empty, part with the image in order to be filled with something new. And after filming a season of a series, you cannot leave your character, move away from him. When I agreed to this series, I thought it would be short, and did not imagine that a story in which everything revolves around one heroine could be so long. Six months between filming was not enough for me, even though I rested like a grandmother: I went to a sanatorium in Essentuki. But all this time I couldn’t let Olga out of me, so that later, when I resumed work, I wouldn’t have to look for the image again.

While we are talking to you, do you feel like you are a heroine in yourself?

Yes. I have her somewhere here, on my tonsils - I talk like her, and I get a little tired of it. But not clean like her. Now I have both the restless Troyanova, who wants to immediately smoke and run away, and Olya. She sometimes jumps out of me like a jack-in-the-box, I make attacks in her spirit, for example, she could suddenly start yelling... I don’t behave like that at home - my husband Vasya Sigarev got sick of it. The format of the TV channel also does not allow the bird to take off, because it is such a box: jump up - boom - hit your head. But I’m glad that I finally reached a wider audience. I prepared for this for a very long time. Before “Olga,” I didn’t touch the series in which I was offered to star: I read the title or the first page and dismissed it.

Why did they suddenly decide to agree?

Firstly, the heroine, like me, is 43 years old. I can’t play girly girls anymore; for my audience, I have to age properly, and not get younger. I also came to the understanding that I have a character that the viewer needs. If you, Troyanova, have it, so you are greedy - give it away! I was already ready to start a series, because I love TV series - American, British. All that was missing was a good channel and material, and then the puzzle came together: I’ve been watching TNT from the very beginning. I was very lucky with the Good Story Media team - the guys who make Olga. These are not some fat bellies who are thinking about where to spend money, but people who are very passionate about their work and worry about it.

Sandrey Arkhangelsky in Kommersant noted that in the family of the heroine Olga, no one except her works, but at the same time everyone manages to survive on the salary of a pedicurist, and complained that in the post-Soviet film industry the topic of earnings and survival has not been reflected upon.

Oh, now everyone is telling me about Arkhangelsky. He just doesn’t know life. She doesn’t know that a Russian woman who works as a pedicurist or as a cleaner will run around, borrow and re-borrow, but run the household. I know this from my mother, who had a small salary, worked as a typist, received ten kopecks per page and fed two daughters. So we were the best dressed in the yard, and we didn’t have a stupid “wall” in our house, but had some modern bells and whistles. Mom just had taste and what she called the ability to get twisted: to re-borrow, to throw something into a pawnshop. In the Soviet Union, everyone knew how to twist things like that, and even now. Now the whole country has taken on loans.

Are you tenacious, like Olga?

No. You see, I’m sitting here whining that I’m tired. But Olya never whines like that. I don't overthink it because I don't like borrowing money. Life is not mine. When I was young, I was happy when I had the opportunity to smoke a cigarette in the morning. Then I got hooked on coffee, now in the morning I definitely need a cigarette and coffee, good Kenyan coffee. Requests are growing, but not in wild volumes. Here I am forty-three - I just got an apartment in Moscow, Vasya and I - and this is his merit. And I never need anything.

By the way, after moving to Moscow from Yekaterinburg, you are selling your car. Will you be taking the subway here?

Yes, I always take the metro here. I think that if Alla Borisovna comes down the subway, no one here will recognize her. If you don’t pretend to be someone and calmly, in ordinary clothes, enter the subway, then no one will pester you. My funny mother said: “I can calmly stand up on the street with a whip and have a smoke break.” She and I always had a simple approach to life, we understood that the higher you fly, the more painful it is to fall. Therefore, I am not going to play stardom and inaccessibility.

Is Solga close to what you think a woman should be?

Maybe Olga has an idea of what kind of woman she should be, but for some reason she doesn’t give a damn about herself. But I’m not, despite the fact that I’ve always been a man. I don’t really like to take care of myself; it’s easier for me to put on a hood, glasses and jump around. Sigarev makes comments to me: “Why didn’t you put on makeup? People will recognize you on the street.” I don’t care if they recognize me without makeup. But I am still closer to a real woman than Olga, because, unlike her, I have learned, or rather, am learning to live with a man.

At the same time, in many films you so organically push men out the door...

My mother used to show men off like that. Sometimes I threw it from the balcony. She wakes me up one day and says: “Yanka, get up, let’s go throw this goat out,” and I, little one, got up and helped drag her. I still love it. The other day, at a hotel in Yekaterinburg, a boy from room service knocked on the door and brought me breakfast. And I stood in just a towel and said that I would hide behind the bathroom door. So he brought breakfast, then stood up so important in the middle of the room and said: “What film are you filming today?” I said to him: “Come on, let’s go to hell!” This is Olga who woke up in me, and she has my mother’s intonations. It was not me. You know, journalists often tell me: “You always have one role.” Can you explain to me what they mean? Don’t they see that Olga and Lenka Shabadinova from “The Land of Oz,” for example, are different people? The only thing they have in common is what Troyanova does in the given circumstances. Evstigneev and Yankovsky also remained Evstigneev and Yankovsky, only, as Menshikov said, Yankovsky simply flowed from suit to suit, poured out of a sweater and flowed into Munchausen’s suit. Actors should be like that. And someone in Yekaterinburg says to me: “No, you have to change!” I don't owe anyone anything at all. I have a character that someone needs and uses.C

The series “Olga” airs on the TNT channel from Monday to Thursday at 20.00 and is available for viewing on the website tnt-online.ru.

Yana Troyanova’s son, Nikolai, the actress’s son from her first marriage, was born in 1990. And it so happened that the guy died while still young.

Before starting high school, he was an ordinary child with good academic performance. But after his mother’s new marriage and moving to a new area of the city, he changed. As often happens with boys, Kolya fell into bad company. For a long time Yana could not understand what happened to her son. And Nikolai started drinking alcohol and began taking drugs. And he even spent a whole year in prison. But even after leaving there, I went back to normal. The reasons for the death of Yana Troyanova’s son lay precisely in everything Nikolai experienced. He hanged himself when he was only 20.

Yana Troyanova's ex-husband - Konstantin Shirinkin

Yana Troyanova's ex-husband, Konstantin Shirinkin, was her very first husband. It is worth noting that marriages due to youth do not always work out successfully. That's what happened this time too. Konstantin was then twenty years old, and Yana was only seventeen. She gave birth to a son in this marriage. But, as it turned out, Konstantin was not ready for family life and a serious relationship. And so Yana very soon ran away from him, together with her little son in her arms, no longer able to withstand the frequent scandals and even beatings.

In 2004, Konstantin began to go on frequent binges. And a little later, Yana learned that Shirinkin had died. The cause was a stomach ulcer that opened due to a huge amount of alcohol.

Yana wanted to fight, she endured it, but when one day in a drunken fight her husband beat her so badly that she even broke her nose, she finally decided to leave him.

In the nineties, Yana wanted to survive as best she could. She knew that she had a small child in her arms who needed her love and protection. Troyanova just became a student at a theater university in Yekaterinburg and joined the Teatron theater. The salary was small, but the woman was happy that she was supporting her child herself and was not waiting for anyone’s help.

Yana and her husband

In two thousand and three, Yana Troyanova met Vasily Sigarev, who became her second, albeit common-law, husband. He was a real support for Yana, and she was his faithful assistant and constant muse. In their personal life, everything was finally fine, the couple spent a lot of time together, because they were working on their first project.

Konstantin began to drink even more over the years. And this bad habit was the cause of the ulcer. He died in two thousand and four due to an ulcer opening. But that wasn't all the troubles
