, is a Russian singer and songwriter.

Biography

Born on June 26, 1986 in Moscow in a family of teachers, she is the third child in the family. In early childhood, Nastya’s parents took her to a ballet club. She was reluctant to join the ballet club, preferring singing. Her parents did not support her passion for singing and, at their insistence, Nastya entered the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, from where she was expelled after two years of study due to exceeding the permissible height. Afterwards, Nastya entered the classical dance school of Gennady Ledyakh and continued her studies until the 8th grade. In 2002, she graduated from school with honors as a ballet dancer.[1] Nastya danced on the stage of the Kremlin Palace and at the Bolshoi Theater, went on tour abroad and stayed to live in Greece for a year, where she worked at mass events and starred in the Russian-Greek television series “The Mysterious House,” which was released only in Greece.

Anastasia Kuimova in childhood

Anastasia followed in the footsteps of her parents - she graduated from a choreographic college in her hometown, but decided to connect her future with acting and set off to conquer the capital. In Moscow, Anastasia entered the famous VGIK and became a student in the course of the People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Fokin, the author of the well-known films “TASS is authorized to declare...” (1984) and “Before First Blood” (1989).

Career

2008—2010: Member of the group Inhale-Exhale

In the fall of 2008, Nastya Lyubimova decides to start a singing career and, together with Al Ray, organizes a group called “Inhale-Exhale”[2]. Videos for their tracks “City of Dreams” and “Mystery” literally blew up the charts of many music TV channels, and the songs themselves were in hot rotation for a long time on Russian and Ukrainian radio stations. However, the group soon broke up - according to the official version, their musical preferences diverged and Nastya began her solo career, but later Anastasia in an interview named the true reason for the collapse of the group, which turned out to be a conflict between the group members on financial grounds.[3]

2010 - present: Solo work

Nastya’s first joint track was a duet with the dj-project “Sound Hackers” - “Unreal Love”, recorded in 2010. The track immediately got into hot rotation on radio stations, and a little later a video was shot for it.[4] However, the project “Nastya Lyubimova” itself was presented only in June 2012[5].

In November 2012, Nastya went on a joint tour of Russia with boxer Roy Jones. Roy himself chose the artist who, in the boxer’s opinion, fits best into his non-standard show. The boxing legend was struck by Nastya’s unusual image and unique voice: “We had a huge number of offers from well-known Russian artists and rappers, but we chose Nastya because her energy coincides with ours. I’m sure that after the tour she will become a real star.”[6] At the end of 2013, Nastya released a new video for the track “Rock Star” with Roy Jones[7]

Kuimova played a girl named Dina, whom her mother (Irina Ivanova) considered a mistake all her life. According to the plot of the film, the mother’s attitude towards her daughter is constantly changing, which makes Dina suffer even more. The series premiered almost three years after the end of filming, in March 2020 on the Domashny channel.

Further career

Early fame played a cruel joke on Nastya. When, after school, she applied to several theater universities, members of the examination committees were biased towards the young star and tried in every possible way to put her in her place. As a result, the girl failed in the first round at the Shchukinsky school, and did not pass the final tests at the Shchepkinsky school. Only a year later Nemolyaeva was able to enroll in GITIS on the course of M. Zakharov.

As a student, Anastasia accepted an offer to star in one of the most scandalous films of the perestroika period - “Intergirl” by Pyotr Todorovsky. Although the role of Lyalka was not the main one, it cemented Nemolyaeva’s fame as a talented, versatile actress. After graduating from GITIS in 1991, Anastasia appeared on screens in the films “A Wife for the Head Waiter” and “The Regicide.” In 1992, she was invited to play the role of Irkutsk resident Tatyana in the joint Japanese-Russian film project “Dreams about Russia.”
