Biography of Evgenia Simonova

The biography of Evgenia Simonova begins in the city of Leningrad, in 1955. A short time after the birth of their daughter, the whole family leaves for the capital. The move was connected with Father Pavel - he was a scientist. Mom Olga, in turn, studied the humanities, or rather, worked as a teacher at a university. As you already understand, creativity was not in the foreground.

The future actress did not look into her future in great detail. After school, she was going to start studying languages, and then become a teacher, like her mother. At the same time, Simonova went to a music school and studied choreography. The real turning point happened when the girl was in 10th grade.

At that moment, my father was studying the psychology of creativity - his scientific activity was associated with many industries. The management team of the Moscow Art Theater invited him to their place to give his lecture. The choice of Father Eugene was not accidental - the man was famous for his acting talent, and could turn any lecture into an impromptu performance. It was at this time that the girl became acquainted with theatrical art.

The decision was immediately made to enter a theater university. The timing of the exams was convenient - in case of failure, Evgenia could easily go to the university she had originally planned to attend. Despite all the fears, Simonova is accepted into Pike. By the way, documents were submitted to several similar theater schools, but there was no positive response.

The actress says that the beginning of her studies was difficult. First of all, for a long time she could not decide whether she had chosen the right profession. A sensitive teacher who noticed creative talent in Evgeniy helped dispel all doubts. Of course, she could not do it without the help of her theater colleagues - at that time, she was helped by Svetlana Nemolyaeva and Igor Kostolevsky.

After the Shchukin School, the girl went to work at the Mayakovsky Theater. Now we can say with confidence that all performances are based on the participation of Simonova. In addition to her native theater stage, where the actress has been appearing for more than forty years, she has performed at other venues in the country - the most notable is Sovremennik. Don't forget about the large number of awards and prizes. In 1995, Evgenia Simonova received the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation.

The actress got into cinema in her first year. The first notable role was in the film “Only Old Men Go to Battle.” Next was “Afonya” - there, Evgenia played nurse Katya. For several roles, she created the image of a lyrical character. Success was guaranteed, and people started saying hello to Simonova on the street.

But, despite her popularity, the actress wanted to “win” the role she had formed. It is worth saying that this was not easy. This didn't stop us from creating memorable characters. At the moment, Evgenia has more than six dozen roles on the silver screen. In addition to full-length films, she has been participating in various TV series since the beginning of the new millennium. Maybe oh, “Children of the Arbat”.
